Daniel: Well, my job is done here. Class of 87: but you didn't do anything. Daniel: Didn't I?

If I let you go, I know you’re gonna make yourself disappear. You’ve been running so long it’s almost second nature to you. You don’t remember it, but you made a decision to stop running. It’s over. Now it’s time to come home.

Therapist: So, what's troubling you?
Me: Sometimes at night I cry about how Colonel Cameron Mitchell stormed the halls of the SGC like a modern-day Blues Brother proclaiming he would get the band back together, and then in the final episode they set the time passing montage to "Have You Ever Seen the Rain?", a song Credence Clearwater Revival wrote at the height of their fame when they were already breaking apart, hence the rain on a sunny day.
Therapist: (Into desk phone) Get me security.

I literally don't know what made me think of Stargate but for some reason I did and now I'm thinking about the tenth season and how buck wild it gets. Merlin was not only real but was like a technomancer. I think they just like, hang out with him

But we did find out something else, too. [...] They're not going to help us. We're in this alone.

How did I miss that SGA S10: E3 was an Atlantis episode? Why am I just learning this now??? Anyway, I was so excited to see my favorite people again, and the whole lemon thing, and Sheppard threatening to shoot Rodney, and Rodney saying they were really close, and Daniel finally getting to Atlantis, and seeing Weir again, alive, well, and whole made me tear up. And, the Atlantis music slowly playing when they first arrived was wonderful. Just a solid SG1 episode and a wonderful 'new' SGA episode, for me anyway.

Something that bugs me about stargate as a missed opportunity for world building is that in Lost City (sg1 s7 episodes 21 & 22) Daniel figures out when Jack has the ancient knowledge that planet’s ancient names were able to be translated into a gate address. Vaclarush Taonas has six syllables, one per symbol in a gate address. But then in s10 when Morgan le Fay tells Daniel and Vala the ancient names of the planets they need to find, none of them have six syllables. Idk it feels like a missed opportunity and it was really cool even though they never used it again and basically forgot about or ignored it.
