Everytime I start a k-drama live reaction in here, I just never finish it (?)

But I keep doing it anyway.

So here’s my thoughts after watching 3 episodes of Destined With You (SF9’s Rowoon new drama with Jo Bo Ah).

Spoilers right ahead ⚠️

Trigger warning: mentions of death and blood

Episode 1

The first episode messed up with my expectations.

I was used to seeing the promotionals they released, and they looked all cutesy and everything, so I was ready to sit back and relax with this. And I was extra happy because it was my birthday and the drama is releasing simultaneously.

But then someone fall in a construction zone and died.

I was shocked but I kept going,

AND THEN ...

The haunted house? The poor guy that trip and fell and GOT BEHEADED (allegedly, it wasn’t graphic, thankfully)

My cloud? Broken.

My blood pressure? High.

My interest? Peaked.

Hotel? Trivago.

Putting that aside, and now talking about the characters.

Lee Hong-jo, Bo Ah’s character is very hardworking, and she is very determined (also a people pleaser as it seems, and I’m right there with you, sister).

Jang Shin-yu, Rowoon’s character is the closest he's ever been to playing a villain. I mean, he’s definitely not the villain, but he started very morally gray (considering he was representing the construction company against the widowed woman). He’s very serious and sharp and that’s definitely a great change of pace. I’m very proud of him.

Gong Se-gu, Hyun Bong-sik’s character, the annoyed boss at the Onju’s city hall. He’s… VERY annoying and bordering (if not downright crossing) in workplace harassment.

I don’t even want to mention Hong-Jo’s other coworkers because they are just as annoying and mean-spirited.

I accidentally put up a poll and I don’t know how to erase it, so here’s a dumb question

ps. i wish there would be a season2 because their love team (rowoon and hye yoon) is the best one of this era. i can't get enough of it/them (the whole cast becuse they are just so adorable), and i'm on my second time watching it. i'm crying 😭😭😭😭😭

On Monday, I shared Gaho's new single, "THE," which features LUNARSOLAR's Jian.  The song is being used currently to promote the upcoming webtoon adaptation, "Are You Leaving?"

The musical fantasy web drama will star SF9's Chani, N.Flying's Lee SeungHyub, LUNARSOLAR's Jian, and actress Park JungYeon as lead character Min YooJung.

The story focuses on three famous musicians--Park Yeon (Chani) and Lee Won (Lee SeungHyub) from the Goreyo era, and Min YooJung, an aspiring KPop star who lives in the present.  

How will people from the past and the present connect with each other?  Read the comic (in Korean) on toomics.com, or wait for the airing of the web drama on Seezn (beginning February 26) or SKY TV (beginning March 5).
