SF9 Reaction: When you don't know them

Youngbin meets you through friends at a small get together. You begin chatting and he realises how much you both have in common. When you ask him what he does for a living he finds himself smiling and awkwardly looking at his feet. He finds it incredibly cute that you don't recognise him and tells you he works in music management, not really wanting to give himself away. As you spend more time talking together, he eventually asks for your number and invites you on a date where he plans to open up more about his job.

When you both meet at a birthday dinner for a mutual friend, he finds himself inwardly laughing when you ask for his name upon being seated next to him. He can't help but feel drawn to you and keeps dropping not so subtle hints as to who he is. Eventually your friend pulls you to one side and pulls up Inseong's details on the internet to save you from further embarrassment as you were the only clueless one at the table. You find yourself apologising several times and telling him you enjoy his music. A few days later he builds up the courage to ask the friend for your number as he can't seem to get you out of his mind.

Jaeyoon can tell by the look on your face when you're introduced to each other that you have no idea who he is, so he ends up deciding to run with it. He is the type to make up an elaborate story about being a lion tamer or racing car driver and enjoy the cute/shocked look on your face. He finds you so innocent and adorable that he can't keep himself away from you. Eventually when someone else joins the conversation and asks him about his groups comeback, it eventually clicks in your mind who he is. You apologise profusely and he just waves it off as nothing. Definitely will ask if you want to make it up to him though by allowing him to take you out and how could you say no to that face.

You reach out to shake his hand and ask for his name after being introduced and his eyes grow to be the size of saucers. Dawon will laugh at first thinking its a joke but eventually will realise you're being serious. Ends up taking you by the hand to the nearest table and passing you a headphone before putting the other in his ear. Makes you listen to several songs and feels proud when you recognise some. Tells you that you need to meet up regularly for more SF9 lessons, but really just wants to spend more time with you.

Zuho's group means everything to him and he is so proud to be apart of it. When the two of you meet for the first time, he is shocked when you don't know who he is. He seems like he would take it quite personally so you end up in a long discussion about SF9's discovery and you can't help but smile and how cute and passionate he is when he explains it all to you. He continues to discuss it whilst walking you home and the only way to stop him from talking is to kiss him.

Everyone's eyes are on him when he enters his friends open day party for their new clothing store. You see alot of people taking pictures and asking for autographs. You however slink into the corner having no idea who he is and racking for brain for ideas. Your friend would introduce you both and you find yourself asking what he does for a living...best to be upfront instead of pretending to know. You see his eyes widen a little before a smile settles on his face. Once he explains who he is, he realises that you haven't gone into a fan girl moment like alot of people do upon meeting him. Spends the rest of the evening hovering around you and finding himself jealous when another man approaches you. After you break away from others to get yourself a drink, he would be super open and ask you out on a date.

Taeyang is another one who would be open about his career when you first meet. He isn't too shocked you don't recognise him but he definitely uses the opportunity to get to know you more whilst explaining about himself. By the end of the night you are both entrapped in a discussion about music, movies and the meaning of life. His softness and warmth makes you feel a sense of comfort you didn't know existed. It will be you who makes the first move by passing him your number and kissing him on the cheek before quickly leaving the venue. Safe to say you already have your next several dates planned together.

Hwiyoung would enter your friends birthday party looking all cool and dripping with confidence. Confidence which is knocked when you ask for his name. He can't work out whether your joking or being serious so would just stare at you blinking waiting for you to waiver. Eventually once he has gotten over the small shock he explains who he is and can't help but feel butterflies in his stomach when you recognise their newest song. Hints heavily about you coming to a concert they were having and takes your number to send you the details, whilst secretly planning to ask the group on how he can ask you out properly.

Nothing really fazes Chani so he's not in complete shock when you don't recognise him at an art show held by your friend. He can come off as quite distant and you're not quite sure why at first. Chani would be quite happy to let you talk and get to know you better before dropping the bomb that he's a famous singer and actor. Would awkwardly ask you out and pass you his number before turning on his heel and leaving you stood there dumbfounded.

One moment the room is bright with the morning sun, and in the next the brightness is dulled and remains only as a soft glow. You blink a couple times before Jaeyoon’s eyes find yours again. You take a dramatic breath.

“But when I told you I wanted five more minutes, it was a no,” you complain, slightly irritated in the early hours of the morning. Honestly there was no reason why you shouldn’t sleep in on the weekend if you were still tired. He was free today too. Unlike you, though, he already managed to work out. Good for him. It would be horrible for you and your mood.

And now that you finally found the will to get up he just hops into bed and pulls the covers over both of you? Unbelievable.

“I don’t want to sleep,” he grins at you. Effortlessly he pulls you closer to him before you can escape. He smells nice, fresh out of the shower, and suddenly getting up doesn’t sound like a wise idea at all.

“Then?” You grumble (you need to stand your ground on the fact that you should be allowed to stay in bed the whole day today if you so wished).

“I have,” he lowers his voice and pauses to raise the tension, “The tea.” 

You quirk a brow at him and he gives you a look that conveys very well that he hopes he used the phrase correctly. You want to interrogate him about where he even learned to use the phrase but the prospect of juicy gossip is more interesting.

“Let’s hear it then,” you say, much less irritated.

“Kiss me first,” he chuckles. You roll your eyes, but kissing your boyfriend in the morning is always nice. It’s addictive. One kiss is never enough.

“Your heart is beating so fast right now,” he chuckles. You didn’t even notice the lack of space between your bodies. You just smile and lay your head on his arm.

“I’m still waiting for the tea,” you remind him. It’s too early to be ashamed. Jaeyoon doesn’t really mind either way, happy enough to have your attention entirely on him and hold you in his arms. No matter how sore his muscles are.

So he spills, telling you all about the new development between the soon-to-be couple at the gym he started noticing recently. First the two were just looking at each other when the other wasn’t looking, then when the other was looking. Slowly they started working out next to each other, then spotting each other and sharing tips. Sharing snacks. And today - exchanging numbers. Jaeyoon just so happened to be there when the guy reached into his pocket before heading into the shower and to his surprise found a tissue with a number scribbled on it. 

You listen to him with a wide smile. You’ve never seen the people yourself, but maybe that makes it more fairytale-like and you like it that way. You kick your feet as the story continues - that wasn’t even the end. The two met at the exit again by chance and right then and there they set up their first date.

“I must’ve looked like a creep, there’s only so many ways you can make yourself look busy in front of a gym exit,” Jaeyoon laments, but he’s smiling, “It was worth it though.”

“Guess we won’t have much more updates now though. Unless they start wearing wedding rings to the gym,” you laugh and bite your lip. You really hope it’s going to work out for them. Just like it’s working out for you and your lover so far. His cheeks heat up, he looks just as giddy as you. It’s always like this whenever a wedding is mentioned. Whenever he thinks of your future, getting closer each day.

“Your heart is still beating really fast,” he grins at you and pushes against your chest teasingly.

“Yeah? And yours isn’t?” you try to move your hand to do the same to him but before you can, he pulls away as far as the blanket covering you allows.

“Getting cold feet before even proposing?” you tease, watching the conflicting emotions flicker across his face. It’s still early in the morning. Too soon to be anything but honest in the safety of your sheets.

So he pulls you close again, hugging you against his chest so you can hear exactly how fast his heart is racing. You smile to yourself. So hopeless.

“I could propose to you right now but I want it to be perfect,” his voice barely heard over the sudden breeze blowing past the windows. 

“If it’s you, it’s always going to be perfect,” you hum back. Maybe you’re a little hopeless too.

Jaeyoon pursues something that's invisible to the eyes, the belief that love surely exists, trusts that there will be no lies in that love, bets that's the present will perfect the future self. Wonders if there is an absolute standard to 'do well' to be good at something. He can only fathom the reality of the formless things he follows, as if he is following a path in the dark. But he doesn't doubt the existence of them. Instead, he just throws endless questions at himself. Sometimes he sinks into the abyss, entangled in worries derived from questions, but he never denies the existence of the things he pursues.

Is there anything sort of 'It would nice if you ask me this' kind of story for this interview?

Wow, It's the first time i have been asked such question in an interview. I really didn't think of it (laughs)

Since this is the last interview before enlistment, I wish to leave a story that Jaeyoon wishes to tell today.

What would be good? I like the bright and light stories i have told through various contents but today I feel like it would be good to talk about something that's settled deep in my mind.

I was going to ask 'gukguy*' Jaeyoon to recommend me his favourite rice soup restaurant; but i will ask you when we meet the next time. (laughs) With enlistment just around the corner how do you feel?

To be honest before the date came out I kept wondering 'Oh, am i really going?'* It seemed like a long way off, but it only just hit me when the date came out. But it doesn't mean i haven't thought about it all; i had a lot of conservations about it since an year with our group members Youngbin hyung and Inseong hyung who enlisted first. And the conclusion was 'For the remaining time let's show our fans what we want to show as much our fan's heart desire.' I have spent every moment working hard to yield a pleasurable result to keep up that promise.I feel a lot better now. I knew the fans were anxious because they didn't know when I would enlist, but I felt really sorry until the very end for not being able to say anything.

Did you get any advice related to military life from the members who enlisted first and E-TION of ONF, who is in charge of Pat of 'Pat and Mat'?

Since i was very curious about a lot of things, i ask this and that first. In fact i even contacted E-TION yesterday. Ofcourse advise is very helpful but it doesn't make sense as in the end i guess i can only know when i experience it. I'm just envious everyone is about to be discharged (laughs). Now rather than seeking advice I'm focused on working hard on planning what part of myself i would fill in during the time spend there once i enlist.

Did you make any kind of plans?

I want to do things that I couldn't do before during promotions, so I'm going to focus on reading and studying. First of all i'll take the book 'Dollargut Dream Department Store' that i received as gift from my sister. As for the other books, I'll go to the bookstore before enlisting and buy them. I'm going to learn languages such as English, Japanese. Meanwhile I felt sorry for not being able to study properly even though I felt like I wasn't good enough.

I wanted to get an idea for the pictorial concept, so I asked about your favorite movies in advance.I was surprising to hear the title of a romance movies gushing

Haha, That's right. Usually guys my age like SF or hero series but I like the romance genre. Movies like <The Notebook>, <About Time>, <One Day> are my favourite.

I noticed that in the list, there is also <Titanic>, which was released a long time ago.

Hwiyoung, our group member really likes movies, and asked to me watch <Titanic> with him. Since it is such a famous work, I thought it would be nice to see it at least once, so we watched it together. In the movie Jack's fate was really sad but my heart goes out more to Rose. My heart hurts by just imagining that I have to live out the rest of my days after losing a loved one right in front of my eyes. The scene were they first met was also very memorable.

What's the most memorable movie for Jaeyoon?

I like <The Curious Case of Benjamin Button>. I was so impressed with the movie that I once looked only for Brad Pitt's work.

What part of the movie swayed your mind?

The protagonist keeps getting younger, and the people he loves around him get older. In life the moment they share the same time of life is close to the blink of an eye. Watching the movie made me imagine how sad it must be to miss eachother living through different years. At the same time, I made a pledge to be good to the precious people around me who are going through the same time right now.

Your ability to empathize is extraordinary

I'm the type to have a lot of thoughts, as i often assume this and that and immerse myself in those i guess. However, there are too many thoughts; it does not stop at assuming the situation. There are times when the worry derived from this always becomes too exhausting like biting ones own tail is burdensome. I always make up my mind to reduce these thoughts but it's not easy.

I know how you feel because we have similar tendencies. Even if I manage to get rid of my thoughts, I wonder, 'Oh Am I allowed to live without thinking like this.' and worry about it.

That's right. If you worry a little less than usual you think, 'Am I living too thoughtlessly?' and worry about it. There aren't many people with this tendency, so I haven't talked about it anywhere but If i don't worry too much like this i often find myself wondering if I'm too lackadaisical

I can't help but be concerned it must be very tiring for you. I wonder how do you deal with stress?

As it's my natural inclination it's not easy to reduce the thoughts itself. So conversely i imagine very possible scenario. Should I says it's fighting fire with fire? To think about it endlessly until you can think of no more case scenarios. When you already assume the worst possible scenario you can deal with any unexpected issues that may arise. You tell yourself 'see its just this. the situation like that don't usually happen ,you don't have to worry a lot' and comfort yourself. But there are times when my worst fears came true. Then next time you have to be more careful with what you imagine. (laughs)

It's not a weakness. It's about being careful without making a hasty decision about any situation. It's not easy to be sure of something easily in the first place, but is there something you firmly believe in?

I think the answer that 'I still firmly believe' is more accurate I have faith in 'love'. No matter what form or method, love definitely exists, and I believe there are no lies when it's all about love. I think there were no lies in all the moments when I shared my heart with the people around me, such as the moments when I exchanged love with my parents and the moments when I exchanged love with the fans.

Then what may be something where lies can exist?

Values of things that are not necessarily proportional to the universal estimate. Something like money could be an example.A high amount of money does not necessarily mean that its value is high and vice versa. In case you misunderstand, i have no experience with such money.(laughs)

The fact that the name of the series for your own content is not named 'I am good' but 'I can do well' also seems to reflect your personality. The beginning of the series was small, but now it has become the content that symbolize Jaeyoon.

It wasn't started with a huge plan. During the pandemic the difficult situation of not being able to meet fans was very hard and i felt empty. I wanted to see my fans so much, and I wanted to convey my feeling, but the only possible way was writing and video. I planned various contents to communicate with fans in real time through video. I thought that the story would be richer if I showed what I was doing rather than just talking. Coincidentally, a lot of contents such as making Dalgona and Tanghulu were uploaded on video sites. So I thought to start by showing them how to make those while having a conversation

This is also a 'moment of exchange of love with no lies' with fans. You been saying that you can do a lot of things well, but I'm curious about what do you really want to do well.

What is the criterion in singing 'to do well'?

You have no idea how long I've been wondering about the same. 'Does it mean to be good at it?' 'Is there a single ultimate point to reach?' 'Is self-satisfaction the criteria?' There was a time when i thought that absolute standards definitely existed. As I thought about it over and over again i started thinking 'Just as there are many colors in the world or just as we all have different appearances; the standard of 'doing well' as well might be different. As I progress little by little i keep asking myself; 'what's my own color'. But then when i hit a wall i start doubting myself 'What if there is an absolute standard'. To be honest it's a problem that I can't find an answer to now, so these days I'm trying to focus on and think 'Lee Jaeyoon the person is singing right now' Then, even if you hit a wall; i will have no choice but to overcome it and to learn from it and refine oneself one by one based on that experiences.

As I said earlier, the goal of today's interview is to capture the traces Jaeyoon wants to leave behind. What's that something you want to tell us.

Superficially the trace before i cut my hair, if I speak ideologically its my today's time and thoughts. I think by keeping a record of one day in March that I spent, I have one more moment to share with my fans.

I am curious on what do Lee Jaeyoon as a person wants to leave behind lastly in his life.

Rather than wanting to leave behind, wouldn't it be what of me as a person that's left behind.? Suppose I'm 80 years old, I guess as a person all the things Lee Jaeyoon experienced for 80 years is what will be left of me.

What would that look like?

I received a lot of love while working as Jaeyoon of SF9. After exchanging such a precious affection, I think the inner me will be very rich. As I said before, I believe in the power of love

Jaeyoon's eyes sparkled when he talked about the things he believed in, and a shy smile appeared on his lips. Was it the concern his talks may sounds like 'chasing the clouds'. In fact, if he had only followed what he could clearly see, he would not have asked himself so many questions or agonized endlessly to find answers to those questions. That's If you just accept only what you see without doubt or second guess. However all things that have a form transforms and all that can be seen may look distorted to some. If there is something that don't transform and is non distorted its the nature of formlessness.

So, what Jaeyoon pursues becomes an unchanging buoy on the sea he sails on. Of course, on a day with strong winds, it may be shaken endlessly and sometimes be swept away by strong currents but the direction these signs point to is always straight and honest.❤️

Oh my god. Another ‘everything’ answer. he’s just *dreamy sigh* 🥰 I’m so annoying, I know. But like come on. mhhhh 🤔 I think I would tell Kai that he’s an amazing dancer and that he sets the precedent for so many to follow. i’d tell him that his passion shows and so does his kindness and that i’m really grateful that he can and does share his talent with us…. and i’d tell him that teleportation is the best superpower 😌😌

Between 1 and 2 who’s closet would you raid?

well, either way, my boyfriends are supposed to share their hoodies with their partner, right 💀💀 Let me say, I absolutely LOVE both of their styles. It fits them each so perfectly. I feel like ro is sharp lines, long and slender and elegant to fit his frame and ji is oversized hoodies and baggy pants and soft and excess comfort. So in terms of me adopting said style, I’d go for hannie. He’s definitely more in my comfort zone.

I don’t know if this is like style of music or fashion style or something else but i’ll go with fashion? How you see Ateez: To you Ateez is like a real blood related family that impacted on your growth. You feel that there’s a part of yourselves than only the group can see and understand. Sometimes tho you feel that Ateez holds you back from new opportunities and when you think about renewal of the contract you know you would renew it only to not hurt your members and the group and to stay together. You feel often that the group is not ambitious enough and consider it rather as a step to do for the future than an eternal project.

How Ateez sees you: Ateez are really protective of you and most member feels like you grew up too fast or that you missed childhood time like them and wants to give you a break you never had. Sometimes they think that you can seem quite detached tho and insensitive when managing as a co-leader the group you seem to see think of Ateez before even the members of Ateez individually. Sometimes they even feel scared of you not renewing the contract because they know your ambitions and ego. A love-hate relationship: you love and respect each-other when you are able to complement each other, and you hate each other when you fail to understand and appreciate your differences. Him choosing you as his co-leader touched you more than it seemed as for you logic thinking self why would he wanna share the role he would have to share it’s good points with you.(Literally your soft spot nobody hurts hyung). You and Hongjoong have the type of friendship where you don’t need to talk to understand each other across the room and sitting together in silence isn’t even awkward anymore. Sometimes tho you think Hongjoong is too clingy and don’t understand his need to introduce you to new people when y’all already have your group (Chan and Changbin) and the “spend more time 2gether excuse” makes no sense to you as you see him every day and you like to separate your time with him,time with your common friends and time with your own friends.

What he thinks of you: For him you actually quite easy to read and even if he was part of THE members disapproving your leader position he thinks like Hongjoong that it’s just difficult for you to express your feelings. When he complains about your coldness with him you tell him it’s because you don’t feel the need to prove anything as he knows what are his thoughts of him.

Overall: You see him as a really close person to you and a blood related brother also as the second most important member after Hongjoong you also grateful for everything he did for you. Relation:9/10 Affection:9,5

What he thinks of you: It’s a flirty friendship with lots of skinship and you two get often shipped by fans. Even if you two seemed to be so different you unexpectedly became close really fast like with Hongjoong. Yeosang enjoys your presence and have fun with you. He personally really appreciate all sides of your personality and if you quarrel with the members he will be the first to tell them to go easy on you and that they are exaggerating. Tho he doesn’t think you reciprocate the same energy and while he could even consider you one of his best friends he often thinks you treat him as a casual member or friend and that hurts his pride and feelings, he understands how particular is your relation with Hongjoong but he doesn’t get how sometime you can be sweeter to Yunho that barely asks you if you okay when you sick while Yeosang becomes the whole damn nurse, or how when you feel excluded in the dorm come and say “Don’t steal my Yunho” while it should be the opposite. What you think of San: You and San were really close in trainee days but somehow after the debut and then success of the group your relation deteriorated considerably at the point to avoid each other in the dorm sometimes. You two share similar tastes and vision on the group and similar motives for wanting to be idols but also similar passions out of the entertainment and often people though you two where brother when trainee. The first years after debut you didn’t noticed a change of attitude but the more the time passed and Ateez gained in success it seemed to you that every little things was a reason for San to get mad at you and naturally you two fell apart without even realizing it and every time you tried to talk to San about that issue he said there was no problem to solve or apologized saying it was stress and that you two could hang out the next day and you would hang out and everything would be like in trainee days and his attitude would change maybe for the next day too but the day after it would start with little remarks before you two arguing and everything all over again. You got sincere affection for San but the more the time pass the more you are tired to try and think that your friend is not the same anymore you don’t even get jealous of Wooyoung as you too just grew close to other people in the group and you think that it must be like this. The fans also ships you a LOT so the agency often encourages you to skinship and in pepero games if you two are not already near you know you have to be and actually because San is your friend basic skinship did not disturb you in the beginning but then when your relation grew messier it made no sense to you to act all flirty on stage for him to then yell the shit out of you but strangely to him it’s okay and when you tell him you don’t wanna act close in front of your fans he just says “but we are close I’m not faking it you are my friend like Wooyoung can be there’s no difference” to then again act like an ass right after. What he thinks of you: He was really close to you in trainee days and tbh he appreciated you and your friendship even more than he did with Wooyoung. People often mistaken you for brothers and coaches and teachers said your strong points and weaknesses were practically the same you even wore matching outfits as you found it fun how people told you you were so similar both aspect and personality wise. You two shared similar way of thinking and of seeing the things and when Hongjoong asked to vote you as a co-leader San didn’t thought much about it and thinked it could only be positive for the group to have 2 leaders that it would be innovative and offer balance during decision making moments but only after he realized what it implied. When the positions were given San had a strange feeling he was happy and proud of you but at the same time a little envious still not in a toxic way but teachers always told you were so similar but you still got more positions than him tho. You and Minho didn’t became immediately best friends it was a really progressive thing, at first when becoming close to Stray Kids to you Minho was just one of the fun hyungs and shared sometimes a good laugh with but nothing else, you knew tho he was quite close to Seonghwa. One time Minho asked Seonghwa backstage when he was free to hang out and as you were just near, spontaneously he invited you too knowing that both of you weren’t close enough and had no intention to hang out it was only a polite formality but Seonghwa answered naively as you were about to kindly refuse “Eden isn’t it the day we both free?” He said “No,no you are probably wrong hyung i have things this d-“ you answered but he insisted “No but I remember you said you would do nothing on that day you even complained about it!” To which Minho said “He must be busy you shouldn’t force him-“ and Seonghwa concluded “He’s just shy he will come he can’t reject his hyungs like this anyway what a punk trying to escape it lying aren’t you?”. After that you just surrendered and y’all went for a coffee in cafe managed by Seonghwa’s cousin that assured they would be no fans, as the new formed trio sat down Seonghwa got a sudden emergency and had to leave but since a free day is difficult to have and you just arrived ,awkwardly you and Minho had to stay, as you both knew it couldn’t get worst you inexplicably started to laugh about how awkward it was and neither of you wanted to be there on your free day, slowly it became a conversation and as in late afternoon Seonghwa tried to call you to apologize feeling you would kill him at home he was surprised to see you two were still together and telling him to says what he had to say fast as you and Minho where in the middle of a debate. After that it didn’t took long for them to have the bond they have now.

The friendship:

You two together become the gossip duo literally, if something happens in your life and you need immediate physical advices and mental support you call Minho at 4am and be sure he will be there in less than an hour. Eden has also the ability to understand what Minho’s thinking or wanting to say in a scary way. As Minho has more friends than it seems sometimes Eden is quite afraid to be too clingy and make him escape as for him spending all his free time with Minho isn’t an issue as he never gets bored of him, even in skinship he feels like doing too much will make it seem like Minho is his only friend. Another fun thing is how the two are usually quiet but after long time they do not see each other they will tend to even talk over the other one because of all the things they waited to say (in a cool way). Again Eden is a soft baby for Minho and that’s why other are always shocked to see how much skinship he does and Minho not even noticing as it is normal to him. Y’all need your dose of each other daily and it’s hard to imagine replacing the other one. How you became friends:

There it’s quite an unexpected combo but with a quite normal story, initially you wanted to make friends with Jake for the Aussie bond but Sunoo took you by surprise as he was really excited to meet you the first time you were introduced to Enhypen and people a litlle too energetic like him usually annoys you or when someone’s over gentleness seems fake he remembered you a litlle of Wooyoung too but strangely you saw he was sincere and that was just his nature and as he was a litlle shy he asked your number to Soobin (when you were still close) and the same day wrote you, fast you met again and almost instantly got along as it’s easy to get close to someone like Sunoo you felt at ease and got affection for him soon. Your schedule don’t often coincide and as Sunoo is a rookie you don’t have much free time but the litlle he has he gives priority to you and you text each other often maybe the most with the fact you can’t meet him like your other friends, with time tho it’s easier to meet.

Your friendship:

You feel the fact you are older (grandpa vibe) and in the beginning felt like you were hanging with a kid (like with most of enha even tho you get along better with the maknae line) and as Sunoo grew he was a lot more comfortable with you and less admirative or complimenting added to the fact you don’t see often, and when you asked to hang out with his group of friends who are younger too he was like why would you, you often felt a litlle jealous in the time before knowing actually Sunoo wanted to gatekeep you as his friends likes you too what made you reassured but that made the relation be a lot of on and off. Because of jealousy and time issues there’s often a up and downs. Switching on a funnier side your tastes in dating are polar opposite and often Sunoo warns you before getting in a relationship and his guts feelings are ironically always true, the “I’m your boyfriend until you find the right one” energy’s there, you also have the tendency to find ugly each person the other will like that is quite hilarious and helpful knowing you will never fight for someone(side eye). Rather than criticizing your introverted nature Sunoo likes it and you appreciate is more positive side. You two have quite that flirty ambiguous relationship (and that makes jealous someone COUGHjungwonCOUGH) the type to call each other “jagiya” like jooheon and hyungwon and have no problem to say the other is attractive and shouldn’t lower his standards. What’s cool is that Sunoo never felt overshadowed even over time by your more experience and even tho you have a tendency to take the lead and being the iconic one (like he is Eden’s friend not the other way) he perfectly adapts to it. Sunoo as his spot as your bestfriend as he never doubted you and understands you easily without the need to explain (cute warning) to him you are perfect with your flaws and they are what makes you the perfect friend for him, and even in an argue where you can come off as rude he will let you calm down wait for you to come back and apologize and will always forgive you, he knows you have a good heart and even when everybody is against you he will stand by your side. Sunoo being savage about the skinship in award show and Eden telling him to be discreet is the real show he for sure wanna show off their friendship. What at the end of the day makes Sunoo and your relation truly important to you is how he understands your humor and never get offended, the confidence you both have in each other and last but not least Sunoo’s by your side and makes it clear. Since Soyeon started writing and producing for G-Idle you became a great fan of her, you wanted to meet her but since it’s difficult with girl groups because of dating ban and scandals you had to ask her number trough a hairstylist staff that worked with both, you thought it was a litlle embarrassing but it was the only way and it surprisingly worked! You started texting each other for some months and when promoting at the same time you understood it was better to ignore the other but before going on stage Soyeon saw you and surprised smiled, you discreetly smiled back but after the show she came to you and wished you good luck for your stage in front of everybody and all your members teased you asking how you knew her and if you dated you denied and ignored them just blushing, after that and seeing you were a little embarrassed she apologized for coming so suddenly, you thought you f.cked up but then she asked you to come to the dorm and that it was the easier way to hang out, after that your friendship started.

Then you had diff planning and didn’t really made “friends” with the others until you had a first collab at MAMA with Hyunjin,Yeonjun,Yeji,Heeseung,Wooyoung and Karina , Wooyoung already knew Yeonjun and introduced y’all even tho he wasn’t expecting you would get immediately along and wasn’t really pleased to say the least. You started hanging with Wooyoung,Yeonjun and Changbin and there started the iconic quadrio. You met again with Taehyun and Beomgyu and started to hang with them (Beomgyu,Hyunjin,Jeongin crew created) and they all said in the end you were more similar to Soobin than Taehyun and that you should meet him. After that since you came so often to the dorm it would have been awkward to not introduce you to Kai and Soobin. A fun fact is one day you slept at the dorm and Soobin wasn’t informed since he came home late in the morning Kai was asleep, Beomgyu left early for an advertisement and Taehyun and Yeonjun went down to bring breakfast home. FIRST COLLECTION — 7 January 2020

"The album features a variety of tracks that highlights the musical attainments that SF9 has achieved and which will present a bright vision of the future. In particular, the members participated in all 10 songs, proving a wide range of musical growth. In addition to the sensuous performance that has become the trademark of SF9, they will open the prelude to the SF9 Golden Age with a luxurious and slick visual concept named ‘GOLDEN RATED’ that only SF9 can be awarded." Happy anniversary to SF9's first full album, which graced us with the much-deserved first win!

First Date with SF9

@itshuneeh - Sorry these took so long to do!!! It took me a while to really get to know SF9 so I could do this request properly~ Also I’m doing this request based off a First Date outfit request PeachJin did before and you can find it here! Thanks for requesting!

Inseong:

He felt confident as he walked over to the place you two decided to meet up, but the second he saw you, he became nervous and his mind went everywhere. It was a pretty hot day so he took you out for some ice cream. He would stutter a bit over his words when asking you what flavor you wanted. After ordering, you both sat down at a small booth by the windows and talked about anything and everything. When you found out her could draw, you asked him to draw a quick sketch of you on the napkin. He saw how amazed you were over his small hobby and it gave him more confidence. After talking some more and finishing your ice cream cones, he walked you back home. At night, right before you went to bed, you got a text from him saying,

“I really hope you enjoyed our date. Let’s go out again soon!”

Youngbin:

Youngbin would be super excited about your first date. He thought it’d be best to take you to watch soccer match. He had just gotten the tickets and thought it was a perfect opportunity. Both of you sat on the stands and watched the players run around and score goals here and there. You would watch him scream and jump up his seat when his favorite team would get close to making a point. The sight made you laugh as you saw his childish side come out. It made you happy to see him be himself when he was doing something he enjoyed. While walking you back home he grabbed your hand in his and held it until you both reached your front door.

“Today was the absolute best! Especially because you agreed to go with me. Next time I get more tickets let’s go together again. Deal?”

Jaeyoon:

Jaeyoon had no idea where he could take you for your first date. That is until Inseong came walking into the room with two concert tickets in hand asking if anybody wanted them. Jaeyoon jumped straight up and grabbed the tickets from Inseong and quickly sent you a picture so you could see them. Luckily the tickets were for a concert the very next day. He met up with you at the entrance of the venue and handed you a ticket. Once inside, it wasn’t long for the opening band to start playing and then the main act to continue after. Every now and then Jaeyoon would pull you closer to him. The venue was small and crowded. He did not want to risk losing you in there. He walked you back to your house and gave you a bright smile, showing his dimples. He thanked you for going out with him and began his walk back home.

“Maybe I shouldn’t have screamed so much. The boys are going to kill me if I can’t sing properly during practice. Let’s go on a quieter date next time!”

Dawon:

You were very curious. A normal date at a cafe was far from Dawon’s usual spontaneous style. So when you sat down at the table with him across from you, you could’t help but give him a weird look and asking what he had planned. However, he only shrugged and gave you a cute smile asking if you were ready to order. You both placed your orders and while waiting you two talked. Although the date was still normal, Dawon’s usual high energy and jokes were always present. A few minutes later her excused himself to the bathroom and left you waiting at the table on your own. Right after, the waiter began to walk in your direction. Except, in his hands wasn’t your order. It was a huge bouquet of varying flowers. Dawon walked towards you right after the waiter left and brought your orders with him. You smiled at him and thanked him for the flowers before beginning to eat.

“You know, I don’t even know the names of these flowers. I just thought they were pretty and got them for you. I’ll learn the names of the flowers for our next date though.”

Zuho:

It wasn’t Zuho’s first time roller skating. It was just his first time in a very long time. Zuho had suggested going to an arcade and then a movie for your first date. However, you really wanted to check out the new roller skating rink that had opened near your home. And that’s how Zuho found himself looking at the skates on his feet, unable to stand up, in fear of falling down. Although he was scared, looking at your happy and excited expression eased his fear a little. You both stood up, you grabbed onto his arm, and you both waddled together to the rink. The second Zuho step foot onto the rink and began to skate, his old rusted skill came back to life. Zuho skated like a pro. Meanwhile, you were the opposite. You held on to the railing and slowly moved forward while guiding yourself with the railing. Zuho came over and grabbed both your hands and pulled you away. You were slightly scared, but with Zuho helping you skate it was fine.

“Okay, I know I fell three times, but you fell more than ten times so don’t laugh! Let’s stick to the arcade and movie next time, yeah?”

Rowoon:

Romantic boat ride? Yes please! It was well into the afternoon when you and Rowoon got on the boat. You both sat down near the window watching the sky, the clouds, the water, and the sun as it began to set. You both talked and enjoyed each others company. It was a cute and simple date and you loved it. You couldn’t have asked for anything better than that, especially since you were with Rowoon. You looked at him and smiled before looking out the window again. However, the sight had made you gasp suddenly and Rowoon asked you what was wrong. You shook your head and pointed out the window. It was amazing how only a few seconds had passed, but the sky was now decorated with different shades of blues, pinks, purples, and oranges. It was the most beautiful sunset you had ever seen. Luckily you were distracted and did not notice when Rowoon snapped a quick picture of you looking out the window, but you saw the picture when you were scrolling through your social media apps.

“She thought the sunset was beautiful, but I thought she was more beautiful. I can’t wait for our next date.”

Taeyang:

You had been nervous. Going on a date with a super cool and handsome guy was something you really weren’t prepared for. Though, halfway through the date you has completely relaxed and enjoyed bike-riding with Taeyang. You both were slowly biking along a small path in a park. You guys exchanged stories of how you first learned how to bike. The relaxing ride was filled with many laughs and different stories of your first time doing things, like, your first time going on a roller coaster, your first time jumping off the deep end of a pool, and your first time walking through a haunted house, plus many more. You were both in the middle of laughing when you noticed your bike slow down. Your eyes widened realizing your back tire had a gotten a flat. Taeyang helped you take it to the nearest repair shop. However, now you had no way of getting home. He quickly offered taking you on the back of his bike. Seeing no other solution you agree and stepped on. You were nervous again, and he told you to wrap your arms around him so you’d be safe. When you did you could see the tips of his ears become red. He dropped you off at your home and stopped you before you walked inside.

“How about, after our dates, I take you home on my bike? I know it’s not the best ride, but it was fun taking you home like this. I’ll see you soon!”

Hwiyoung:

When you both got to the aquarium, Hwiyoung shyly asked you what you wanted to go see first. You didn’t really have a specific place in mind so you suggested to just walk around for a while and then decide from there. Both of you walked through the many areas that held numerous amounts of fish and other sea creatures. Hwiyoung would often make very loud sounds of awe and surprise, as well as push his face very close to the glass to look at the fish inside. Although he was very shy and quiet sometimes, he didn’t hold back his excitement and happiness from seeing all the different fishes. You took a picture of him making at kissy face at one of the fishes when he was trying to mimic how the fish looked. When he noticed you laughing at him he became shy again, but showed some aegyo to save himself from further embarrassment.

“I’d rather take a picture with you, and not with the fish. Next time let’s go on a date to the zoo! There are really cute animals there we can take pictures with!”

Chani:

Chani decided that talking a walk through a park trail would be a nice first date. After meeting up with you at the entrance, you both began talking about how nice and calming it felt to be around all the trees and plants. It was refreshing to have a change of scenery from always being surrounded by tall buildings and many shops. It wasn’t very cold out but there was coolness that lightly nipped at your skin every now and then. However, as soon as the sun slowly started going down, the temperature also started to drop. It was getting a little bit colder than you were used to and you began to shiver. Chani noticed almost right away and took off his jacket and put it on you. He also grabbed your hand in his and placed your intertwined hands inside the jacket’s pocket.

“It was a bit cold out right? I’ll make sure to check the weather properly next time we go on a date. How about a picnic on a warmer day?”

saw someone say they didn’t know about juho’s thigh tattoo so i thought id reblog this post i made in nov from the universe photoshoot they did where he’s wearing shorts lol

he actually has 3 tattoos on his right thigh~

its the line of words around the hands it says “the male version of venus” from his part in move from kingdom where he says “im the male version of venus” and then in later in trauma he says “i told you im the male version of venus” (also fun fact he says trauma in his verse in move too)

juho said something about it on live that it was a clock of sorts that had all the members birthdays on it (and i think their debut date i cant remember) 

anyway he is one of the 4 members that have tattoos that we know of (youngbin, dawon and hwiyoung are the other 3)
