*slams hands on table* LITTLE LAW OFFICE OF HORRORS.
Also, it might say mature or something, promise it’s not. Tumblr is just stupid.
I’ve had this idea in my head for a long while, and only now started to get started on it. I’ve been wanting to write a fic for it but I don’t think I have the talent for it. I might end up doing a script type fanfic deal just to branch out and it’d be easier and also I could do my own lyrics for the songs that would fit with the Au.
In this au Miles had to move schools and lost touch with Phoenix, so yeah.
And anyway, Mia also did the Fawles case and Diego is still in a coma and because of this tragedy she goes and gets a job at Edgeworth & Co. where Miles of course works at. She gets a plant for the office and names it Charley.
During this time she gets Phoenix’s case against Dahlia and gets Dahlia imprisoned and Phoenix ends up working as a paralegal for Edgeworth and Co. when he finds out Miles works there and they reconnect.
Phoenix in this au is also in an abusive relationship with Kristoph (a defense lawyer in this au of course) and Miles still has a crush on him. ANYWAY.
So Maya ends up bringing in a strange plant on the day of the solar eclipse (and also the same day Dahlia got executed hmmm maybe that’s why there’s dahlia flowers hmmm (if I ever end up writing a fic I’ll do a thing where they cut up the plant leaves and make an antidote to the poison or some shit) and she names it Charley II. And she says that it’s gonna be lucky for the office and they start getting more clients (maybe the plant keeps killing people?)
ALL THE LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS STUFF HAPPENS. Just wanted to add little bit of context…
In the fic I would have like, idk, Maya and Mia exorcize the fucking plant LMAO.
Close up fo scared Edgeworth becuase he is my favorite.
More close ups. Hands are hard. ALSO DON’T MENTION MY TOTALLY INCONSISTENT ART STYLE.
(I might post the drabbles I wrote of the Au cause I actually kind of like them…)
Edits: SHIT I JUST REALIZED I WROTE CALLIN INSTEAD OF CAUSIN bro. Also forgot Edgeworth’s glasses in that other one.

OK WHAT THIE FUCK IS GOING ON
recently I started watching pm Seymour’s videos and for a bit I was like “hey that voice sounds familiar” and “hey that name sounds familiar” nothing to big my brain makes stuff up sometimes so i ignored it
Then PM starts talking to the editor, Andy. And I thought “just like that one guy from a few years ago” right. Again, nothing too big.
THEN Andy plays a clip of himself. He’s British. No big deal there’s a lot of British people named Andy it’s probably just a coincidence that he sounds like that one guy.
weeks later, I finally watch the video pm has pinned on his YouTube page. There is a section along the lines of “ I may have voiced some of the characters from your childhood” AND THEN HE SHOWS FREAKING TRAVIS. YOU KNOW. FROM MYSTREET. THAT MINECRAFT ROLEPLAY THAT SMALL ME OBSESSED WITH . this conformed my suspicions
I DID recognize the name and the British guy named Andy WAS garroth, and holy shit EVERYTHING IS CONNECTED!
BUT THAT IS NOT ALL MY FRIENDS OHOHOH NOOOO
that would be too easy for this little girls sanity
I then started watching Andy’s videos oh his channel previously known as thedragonhat now known as Evildoerz for the dnd campaign that Andy dms, pm is in, ASWELL AS AMY (binoftrash; the person who make the high quality skins and art for mystreet and various other role plays that aphmau made) AND THE VOICE OF ZANE ( kesten) AND THE VOICE OF KC ( moeka )
so I’m definitely watch that campaign later and becoming obsessed with it only to never talk about it on here
BUT while serfing though Andy’s channel I come across THIS VIDEO ( I can’t find it sorry) and the Elsie Lovelock aka THE VOICE OF UZI is there so once again
ok while I was looking to find the video mentioned above I saw this video and thought “maybe was it that one” so I looked up Elsie on IMDb turns out she voiced Jennifer in MCD I didn’t know who that was and decided to look around the cast a bit.
I found SungWon voiced Gabriel who if I remember correctly is one of aphs adopted sons in diary’s
SUNGWON VOICED MORDECAI IN LACKADAISY
what the fuck
ALL MY INTERESTS PAST PRESENT AND FUTURE ARE ALL CONNECTED AND I CANNOT EXCAPE IT.
@itsapmseymour I blame you for this. I blame you for my insanity

hello, I just browsed through your character sheets on your patreon (amazing btw!) and was fascinated by an anecdote about Silas having a laughing fit because of a dance mishap? Do you know more about this story? It sounds like such a funny scene!
This comes from Tryggve Gran's diary. It was the night they celebrated the Return of the Sun in the miserable Second Winter. They knew their friends were dead, they didn't know how; the weather was constantly atrocious – they needed a party, and even though no one saw the sun (because there was a blizzard, of course) they celebrated its astronomical return with a big bust-up all the same.
Besides, there was a lot of alcohol to put away before the ship returned to take them all home.
Anyway, Gran records:
We acted like a pack of schoolboys who had just been set loose on holiday. Nelson and I danced a 'mixed Cakewalk Fandango.' Wright was the judge of the dance, the last part of which ended as follows: a somersault by Gran knocked Nelson out of the dance, causing the judge, Wright, a paralysis of laughter which resulted in his making acquaintance with the floor of the hut. His hilarity was uncontrollable, and we the artists didn't find it easy to help in this situation. Wright was therefore carried off to bed where he laughed himself to sleep. — The Norwegian with Scott, p.206
After this, Gran, Keohane, Williamson, Nelson, Atkinson and Debenham launched into a sing-song, with the cook Archer joining them after midnight. They kept going until 2.
That's one of my favourite little Silas anecdotes, so thanks for asking!

2022-23 Broadway Wigs
Starting off by mentioning that all the Six wigs are individually designed for their actors, with exact colors/textures/styles decided by what’s most flattering on the individual queen. That means that any new cast (especially in the US) could have totally new designs, new elements or colors/shades, or pre-existing elements but in a new combination. There are also times when wigs are totally standardized with the only change being the colors to match the individual queens’ hair (this is most commonly the case for Howard). And when I refer to US wigs or what’s typical for each role, I’m exclusively referring to mainland US (Broadway + tours). NCL is a totally different team and set of wigs.
There have also been quite a few changes between opening and the present. Anything that changes the overall look or design I’ll note, but anything in the vein of minor thinning or a very minor trim that isn’t particularly influential I won’t. Just know those things always happen a fair bit with new wigs.
Hailee Kareem Wright
Hailee has a full ombré wig in shades of dark browns. Middle part with Dutch braids on either side. It’s longer and with a flatter back and sides than many Aragon wigs.
US Aragon wigs have some of the most variance depending on the queen. This wig is definitely noticeably individualized for her (and I have to give the design team props for this, it’s definitely one of my favorite Six wigs). The basic design is near-identical to Bre Jackson’s wig with the ombré and Dutch braids, but it pretty significantly differs from Adrianna Hicks’, who had primarily black wigs with very dark brown highlights and no braids.
Leandra Ellis Gaston
First of all, a moment for the braids!!!! Truly was not expecting this and it was SUCH a welcome surprise.
Leandra has a full wig with hip-length box braids that are narrower at the front of the scalp but chunkier in the center back. Color mix is primarily black but has some very dark brown in there. Other than the braids(!!!) the middle part and space-buns are standard for US wigs.
Bella Coppola
This wig is actually very interesting. At first glance it’s a very typical Seymour wig but it’s a pretty significant departure from US Seymour wigs and more in line with UK: the beehive has only really been seen in UK (which I talked about here), both the US and UK used to use center parts but this past year the US has been using side parts, and US has typically shifted towards a shorter wig than Bella’s. Color is more unique too; most of the US (+NCL wigs) have had a little bit more of a red/strawberry/warm brown tone, while this one is more in line with the blondes popular in the UK (lot of factors here at play that I’ll get into another time). There’s still more of a golden tone than the more platinum that UK usually goes for, but it is overall more in line with UK.
They’ve also changed the wig slightly over time: the size of the beehive has been increased and it seems like there’s been a shift towards tighter curls rather than the usual looser curls it started with (which are more in line with we’ve been seeing from other US casts lately).
Nasia Thomas
Nasia’s wig has braids coming up from the sides and back to swoop into the top section that’s been left loose and to the right. Red highlights as (almost) always. It has been significantly thinned down with time (opening bottom right as opposed to top row from their performance a few weeks later).
The style is a significant change from Brittney Mack’s hair, who had her own braids with bleached highlights but no loose section and red added in only some of the time. The tour principals have had more of a mid range - braids up the sides/back and red highlights like Nasia, but the top section is still braids centered on the head rather a loose section to the side. The tour alts’ wigs all vary quite a bit with nothing identical but some similar elements.
Zoe Jensen
Very standard US Howard ponytail with nothing particularly new or notable. Pink dyes differ a bit from queen to queen but that’s really the only variance for her!
Taylor Iman Jones
Alright, here’s the one everyone’s been asking about. Taylor has a full black wig with some warm dark browns mixed in. She debuted a totally new hairstyle for Parr, completely different from anything we’ve seen before. At opening, the hair on the front right of her head was pulled over to the side and back, with all the hair on the left side of her face + the entire back bottom half down or to the side in loose curls. Since then they’ve thinned it out very substantially; the section on the left side of the face functions more like a ponytail (more like we’ve seen with Roxanne Couch’s old side ponytail wig or Sydney Parra’s wig) and the amount left loose at the bottom has been slimmed down.
A post on the alts (including Marilyn Caserta) will come a bit later - they haven’t all debuted and a few wig designs have been changing around.

saw the new six broadway cast so here’s what I noticed
- aragon’s vocal style leans more towards shakira than beyoncé
- boleyn was very on the avril lavigne sk8r boi side and was very high energy and adorable
- seymour did a lot of beautiful riffing and it was so incredible she got like a full minute of applause after heart of stone
- cleves was also leaning more towards nicki minaj than rihanna with her vocal style which was really fun
- howard felt really young and naive and bubbly and was the first howard to actually make me cry during aywd
- parr just felt like really sincere in her acting like I know acting is supposed to be sincere but like there was something else to it
- they all had really tight harmonies and really precise dancing

So, the dude in the center of the pic, the one with the bobble on his hat is, I believe, The One And Only Lawrence O. I mean the tan, the posture, the broad albeit slightly sloping shoulders, and that wonky bobble, yup, looks like my man. The gentleman with his back to the cam is, I thik Uncle Bill, then we have two bespectacled dudes to the right, that would be Cherry (bare head) and Silas (hat on). The dude in white hat, God, I have no idea, does somene recognise him? The most-on-the-left dude (with that white strip on his back) doesn't have much of recofnisable features, but something in him makes me to suspect the human incarnation of Jack Russell Terrier, known as Teddy Evans. As for the mushroom hat and pipe man... Nope, do not recognise him.

I was at that show in the front row, and I was wearing a really sparkly dress (which was quite lucky considering I hadn't planned that out) I was invited by Anna of Cleves during the show to stand up for a minute and dance a little (which was crazy!!!!) I want to see how much of a doofus I looked like! So if anybody has one uhhh. Please lemme know.

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire (2013)
Catching Fire is a superior sequel. It expands the world first established in The Hunger Games. More importantly, it develops the characters further, raises the stakes and deepens the romantic plot. It’s a film aimed at teenagers so the love triangle is prominently featured but anyone watching will be engaged, particularly when the stakes rise to this height.
Hunger Games winners Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) and Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson) have won a life of luxury, but it comes at a price. While the nation demands to know more about their beloved sweethearts, President Snow (Donald Sutherland) keeps a close eye on the young woman. Despite Snow’s threats, nothing seems to squelch the flames of rebellion rising inside her, leading him to take drastic measures.
There are essentially two parts to the film. The first deals with the fallout of the 74th Hunger Games. Katniss and Peeta made it out alive by pretending to be in love. Now that ruse has to be maintained. While Katniss pines for Gale (Liam Hemsworth), she is forced to smile for the camera and pretend she couldn’t be happier about what happened. Meanwhile, she’s having nightmares about the blood she spilled. This drives her to try and reach out in kindness to the families of the deceased tributes. It only makes things worse. More attention, more interviews, more chances to screw up. The first film made the time outside of the arena interesting by showing us that she lacked the necessary skills to charm the sponsors. Hunger Games 2 brings in political aspects that make it clear the teenagers are in way over their heads. Katniss is being drawn into a rebellion against the Capitol. All she wanted to do was live. Instead, she's being transformed into a symbol; something that belongs to everyone except herself. What could’ve been teenage drama feels like the weight of the world, and it only gets heavier from there.
During the second half, Catching Fire finds a way to cleverly deliver more of what brought us to the series in the first place: the titular games. Thought the danger was real last time? Now it’s even worse. It’s completely overwhelming and it all seems even more insurmountable by the fact that Katniss and Peeta’s strategies won’t work a second time around.
Once again, this series shows off plenty of inspired costume and visuals. The extravagant hairdos and dresses of the Capitol speak volumes about the society that tolerates these sacrificial gladiatorial games. It’s a great example of the tight direction by Francis Lawrence, who delivers the drama you’d expect out of teenage protagonists but doesn’t overdo it. Though Gale still needs further fleshing out, many of the side characters, including Effie Trinkey (Elizabeth Banks), Haymitch (Woody Harrelson) and Katniss’ sister Primrose (Willow Shields) get an injection of personality and growth. There is a lot going on here and all of these elements are well-balanced.
Meatier and with higher stakes than its predecessor, Catching Fire is a sequel that proves this franchise has a lot to offer - and not just to teenagers. Young adults may get the most of the drama and romance but everyone will be gripped by the complexity of the politics at work and enthusiastically awaiting the next chapter. (On Blu-ray, October 5, 2018)
