1. Are you named after anyone? My given name was adopted from a character in a tv show, but my chosen name was not connected to anyone.

2. When was the last time you cried? Oh, hmmm… I really couldn’t say. I don’t cry all that often.

3. Do you have kids? I do not have a child of my own, but my partner’s sister has a child, and we are all really close, so I’m an uncle (unca, actually).

4. Do you use sarcasm a lot? I don’t. I actually only use it in very blatant conversational contexts (like politics rants with my partner) because I struggle a lot with intonation control. My monotone delivery far better suits my dry manner.

5. What’s the first thing you notice about people? If it’s a still photo I’m looking at, their eyes. If I’m meeting them in person, it’s mannerisms, and posture, and whether they make eye contact. I couldn’t tell you what most people look like.

6. What color are your eyes? Blue. On the darker gray side of blue.

7. Scary movies or happy endings? Happy endings.

8. Any special talents? None that come to mind.

9. Where were you born? The US.

10. What are your hobbies? Writing (you may have noticed). Gaming (tabletop and pc/console).

11. Do you have any pets? I am currently fostering a friend’s cat, while she searches for cat-friendly housing.

12. What sports do you play/have you played? Oh so many… I was the kid who liked gym class (except for running the mile). Basketball, volleyball, American football, baseball, and then so many pickup games of other sports. I am very competitive and thrived in sports as a youth.

13. How tall are you? 6’4 or 1,93

14. Favorite subject in school? Math. It was the thing that came most naturally to me… and it took me a long time to define favorites in a way that wasn’t centered around what I’m good at.

15. Dream job? If I could sustain myself on publishing my writing, I would.
