I have also been here since 2012 and I have known the wonderful larry blogs like Bulletprooflarry (Kati), Tellmethisisnotlove (Gabi), the-love-laws, 28nachos (Amy), sexatoxbridge and legohousedea.

The thing is they were so firm in their believes, even when 1D went on hiatus and the solo stuff started both kati en gabi (for example) never thought larry were on a break or broken up and hooking up with others during those times.

Why do you think those larries were firmer in their believes than the larries nowadays? Because there is less proof than back in the day? Also, do you think that if Kati, Gabi and the OG larrie blogs would be here in 2024 they'd change their minds as well like Gina did (about break up and hook ups with others)?

I'm not sayin it's wrong to change your mind. It's actually good to evaluate what you know with current time. However I feel like present day (big) larrie blogs are starting to buy into louis'and harry's fake image (womanizer and chav)....which is weird because back in 2013 louis and harry both got an extreme closet with extreme images but the OG larries back then never bought into it from what I can remember....

I think it's easier to be firm in your belief when you get constant validation and a stream of confirming information like we did when they were in the band. You build a confidence in your beliefs over years of validation. Coming in late to the fandom and having to read up on stuff isn't the same, so it's harder to build that confidence.

When the gaslighting ramps up and the signalling and queercoding stops or reduces, it's harder to resist the pressure to conform to the public narrative. If you're a latecomer you will have an even harder time of it, because you haven't maybe experienced the periods of validation. So you'll end up with old-timers who are really confident and validated and latecomers who are not confident and don't get real time validation.

The longer the gaslighting continues and we don’t get signals, evidence or new information or interactions between H and L the harder it is to keep your beliefs. You also tend to forget some of the things that shaped your beliefs as time passes. So some are starting to doubt what where previously firm beliefs.

I also think that some are very affected by other people's beliefs and base their own beliefs on others beliefs. That's not a good base for your own beliefs and is shaky ground. If others then change or amend their beliefs then you might get really insecure. Some of it is also down to fandom moods and the confidence you have in yourself as a person. So it's complex.

Hi :) I’m thinking of making more of these Rainbow/Chakra crystal bracelets to sell to help out with Harry’s Switchboard birthday drive. (this one strikes a chord with me bc the thought of LGBT+ kids feeling hurt & alone is heartbreaking…and I’d love to help in some small way)

They’d sell for around $15 US and $5 from each bracelet would go to Switchboard. as for your other question idk that i would say it’s the most hated ship or anything but i think atm just a lot of ppl in the ziam fandom are annoyed by it because (at least in our opinion) there’s so much more evidence for ziam than there is for that ship but for whatever reason that seems to be the one getting all the attention especially lately and over what (again in many of our opinions) is rather flimsy evidence

can you touch a bit more on the rumors of louis getting in trouble at auditions/bootcamp? 💙💚

I don’t really have much on that, to be honest. A couple of years ago I went down this rabbit hole to try to gather more information about xfactor larry and understand timelines and how things played out back then (I wasn’t around until many many years later, but og larries were on full FBI mode back then).

What I remember is reading a bit about how Louis was kind of a mess backstage and that bothered a lot of people. Especially by being so loud and not following any sort of rules and doing whatever he wanted. It really adds up with Savan Kotecha having issues with his "ego" and also Liam not getting along with Louis at first.

I think there's a post by @sexatoxbridge last week that mentioned something about Louis being kicked out of bootcamp for his behaviour along with some other people, but they brought him back. And that’s certainly something familiar to me but I’m not sure where I’ve seen this before or any details.

A bit later, after the band was formed, there was also the blind item saying about some same-sex action between two contestants followed by an article saying Louis went missing.

This was on week 5. When Louis was sitting on the top of the stairs on the video diaries looking very very tired and Harry looking proper pissed at him (legend has it that Harry mouths “fucking prick” to the camera at some point but LOL I’m not sure about that). I think this is around the same time Harry’s ~allegedly~ nude picture came up. But it’s unclear whether Louis was sent home for the night on that week and then they brought him back very quickly about something to do with Harry or if that’s just some sort of confusion with the fact he was sent home but that was way back during bootcamp. I’m inclined to think it was in fact just a misunderstanding because there’s another version of the story that says they all got a few hours off and Louis ran away to Doncaster without really telling anyone, but came back on the next day. That would explain why he looked so tired and why Harry was upset.

Please be aware this is all pure speculation and not facts, but there was also a lot of people back then talking about the fact Louis wasn't very sure about his sexuality quite yet when he started the program and finding Harry truly made everything messier for him. And IMO this is a good guess because he came from a small town and he was away from his family for the first time and was not all that confident about his voice in the first place, and when we add on top of that a full meltdown about his sexuality and the things going on with Hannah and Harry... I mean, no wonder he was a mess. Anyway, as I said, all rumours but it's interesting to wonder what was going on with Louis back then.
