Edit since apparently a lot of people don't know this: if you mess up while cutting fabric and put a slice in it, you can just get a scrap piece of interfacing and stick it to the wrong side of the fabric, making sure both sides of the cut are close together, then once it's interfaced just zigzag stitch over the cut. And boom it's fixed. I might add a pic later for the visual learners but that will have to wait
