As a lesbian i will always relate more to trans women than cishet women. Made to feel disgusting and predatory in women’s spaces? Check. Berated and mocked for our relation to sexuality and womanhood? Check. Hated for our “deviancy from the norm”? Check. Scenario: a sample of your DNA was taken, popped into a cell, and cloned into a baby, gestated in a sci-fi artificial womb vat. The first time you or anyone in your family meets this baby is after it has already been born out of said vat. You can hold the newborn if you want, it's up to you, but it is a living breathing baby that was cloned from your DNA and is genetically identical to you.

i know in my heart that modern au sansa has an instagram entirely devoted to lady and posts videos captioned "bath routine of my direwolf 🥰 #dogbath #doggrooming #direwolf" where she's filing lady's nails and applying lotion to her paw pads while lady sits there with big loving eyes and all the comments are like "GIRL THIS IS AN APEX PREDATOR WHY IS IT IN YOUR HOUSE"

as soon as i finished reading this series, i knew i had to draw something. i mightve gotten possessed in the process, this is the most detailed sg painting ive made in a WHILE a lot of aspects in esseks design was inspired by this piece by zmees with some of my own elements added in bren's design was mostly my own ( i have a double breasted vest i made like his thats blue :3)
