Seventh Soul Game Mockup

Man wouldn't it be somethin if Seventh Soul could be a game? Been talking to my game developer programmer husband about it. Just bouncing off ideas. Got me inspired to make a little mockup.

He said if I made him tiles and sprites he would throw them in unity and mess around with it hehehe

I won't get my hopes up too high though TvT

Anyway here's this lil thing. I reused the Soul Sans I made for his character sheet as a placeholder, but all the pixel art is ✨fresh✨

Sans looked into the home of the king, he quickly walked through making sure that the coast was clear. Then he quickly ran back outside to grab Frisk.

"It's safe, the King is in his throne room." Sans said quietly, ushering Frisk in. He guided her to the small living room, where a very pleasant fire was going, and the only thing providing light. Frisk sat in the chair sitting right beside the fire.

"This place looks exactly like mothers home" Frisk spoke up, putting her hands slightly towards the fire, before holding them back, resting one on the chair, and the other grabbing close to her soul.

Sans stayed standing, summoning a bone to his hand, just to make sure he was ready if anything decided to surprise the two of them. He sighed as his mind started to race.

"How in the world am I gonna fight the King of Monsters..." He thought, his mind quickly thinking of all the scenarios in his head, most of them ending in failure. He shook his head, bringing the free arm up to ponder. He needed a strategy and fast...

Seventh Soul Sprites (Walking Animation)

Well this is prob the end of my Seventh Soul game hyperfixation saga. I made some sprite animations but I probably won't do anything else unless my husband actually wants to do something with everything I've made.

As much as I wanna make this a real thing, making a game is hard. Takes a lot of work and time, which is something both me and my husband don't have a lot of - and unfortunately due to the fact that this would be a fan game, it's not like we can crowd fund it in order to pay ourselves to make it lol. SO...this is all we got for now 😎

Maybe someday, who knows. This was a fun little trip, nice to think something like this could be a thing. Maybe it can be someday, we shall see. Maybe money will magically fall from the sky and we can afford to put actual time and effort into a game that would be free ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ but for now, we can daydream. I got a comic to work on. 😉

Sans and Frisk look to Undyne, who was standing them down, nowhere to run. Undyne can only shake her head a few times before going for the bridge.

"NO!" Sans calls out, but was too late in his cry. Undyne summoned a spear and quickly sliced it though the old looking bridge. Frisk lost her balance as the bridge started to fall, and started her plummet down.

"Frisk!!" Sans called out, following quickly after the falling human. Reaching his hand, it started to glow a luminescent blue, just barely catching Frisk's soul. Turning from a crimson red, to a chill blue. "I got you!"

"Sans!" Frisk cried, tears falling down her face, "I don't want to die!" Controlling her fall, Sans caught up to her, wrapping his arms around her body, turning so he was facing the ground.

"I will never let anything bad happen to you, I promised." Sans quietly said, holding Frisk closer as they fell, he took in a deep breath, and started to focus. With the bottom of the fall on his mind, he took one more deep breath, before safely teleporting them to the bottom, slightly above a patch of golden flowers.
