What color do they think they look best in? Do they actually look best in that color?

okay hmm... tbh I think dola ofc thinks she looks best in black, with most of her clothes being that color? part of solomon and lucifer's "black is the best neutral" brigade

but the colors that she looks best in... tbh while I do think black suits her i think colors from a true winter palette would look best on her if she actually wore color more? cool tones and all, very clear colors. <-had to look this up bc sjdfklsd why is color hard

ofc i kinda... put that sort of stuff to the wayside whenever i actually make art of her bc i prefer working in warmer tones lmao but if she were real these would be her colors

she really only wears like 1/4 of these colors like, mostly the green -blue column + the black and grays

you know before we got to see Mephistopheles Actually Talk with Satan is was presented as really impressive that he was the only brother that got along with/was popular with Demonic nobility and like. early on this was paired with his wealth of apparent connections that seemed to come from everywhere. so it seemed like an indicator of how charming and socially skilled he was (and possibly manipulative but eh thats just another social facet in my eyes) bc demonic nobility was implied to be inherently hostile to the brothers. 

But post Mephistopheles reveal its fucking revealed theres an easy ass in with these people: “Fuck Lucifer” solidarity

hc: the brothers, as avatars of sin, are occupying what was supposed to be temporary posts. Demons, even incredibly powerful ones, cannot channel the main input of a primary sin for forever, and it eventually wears them down. In the olden days, new avatars of sin would be found via ambitious demons killing off avatars that were weakened enough to Be Killed.  Now a days though, the devildom has 6 fallen angels specifically cursed to handle a primary sin by their own creator (and one demon that their head of household spawned from sheer excess). These assholes are just. living with their curses, and worse, aren’t showing any signs of going anywhere. Sure, they bicker, but there’s absolutely no chance of getting them to pick each other off through infighting. Worse, if they’re challenged, they show no sign of being weaker than they were- if anything, these freaks are stronger, only having grown into their power and mastery with time.

No one: Absolutely no one: Lucifer when he reemerged as an angel: Round two, bitch

I NEARLY SPAT OUT MY DRINK YOU'RE RIGHT

In all seriousness, the potential angst?? The brothers and MC think he's dead and are grieving until Simeon returns to them, looking a bit frantic as he says

"Lucifer's back. He's in the Celestial Realm."

- And they will overturn entire realms to get him back.

Ever since his death, they're all a bit different; as demons, the brothers never thought that death would come knocking on their door to take one of their own. MC is the only person keeping them together - barely.

Mammon throws himself into his reckless habits because it distracts him from Lucifer's death absence. (It only serves to remind him of his reprimands, and he only digs the hole deeper as he finds new, increasingly life-threatening things to get involved with.) It takes MC crying to get him to change, and he actually takes charge in looking after them all.

Levi rarely comes out of his room and forgets to eat. Lucifer was the one who usually checked up on him, but he's gone now, gone forever, and every responsible thing he does reminds him of Lucifer and it hurts and wow, he never got to say how much he loves and appreciates him because he was too busy wrapped up in his own thoughts like the worthless otaku he is -

Satan is...conflicted. Finally, he doesn't have to worry about being seen as nothing more than Lucifer's shadow (even though MC helped with this a lot), but...what is this sinking feeling? He doesn't want it. He...He didn't want this. (The line between love and hate is thin, but Satan is nothing if not an expert at balancing on that worn, faded strip.)

Asmo stops going to The Fall. He usually goes twice a week with Lucifer, but now Lucifer isn't here anymore so what's the point? It was something only the two of them shared, away from the rest of their brothers, and now it would just remind him of their shared glances and knowing smiles. It just...hurts, now. Lucifer was one of the only ones who, while stern with him whenever his flirting got out of hand, saw past his sin and had late-night talks with him whenever he wasn't absorbed in his work. His smiles are less genuine, a front.

Beel takes it the hardest, believing that it's his fault. He couldn't protect Lilith. He couldn't protect Belphie when he needed him. Now...Now he failed to protect Lucifer, which was his sole role in the Celestial Realm. Who? Who else is next? Please don't take anyone else away from me. One more and he will break. He barely eats, and doesn't fly into a rage once hungry enough. He visits Cerberus to groom him, and cries into his fur because he doesn't want anyone else to see. He doesn't want anyone else to worry. Is this my punishment?

Belphie sleeps less, surprisingly. How can he sleep when all that he'll dream of is their argument about the exchange program, that flash of anguish as he locked Belphie in the attic? Once upon a time, they were close. He remembers when Lucifer would play the piano for him whenever he had a particularly bad nightmare, and now he frequently visits Lucifer's room to sit at the piano and lightly touch the keys. He doesn't play anything. Even though they fought...even though they had a falling out...We can't make up after all these years only for you go and die, idiot.

So when Simeon tells them that he's back? They're all on a mission.

And Lucifer will do whatever it takes to get back to his family, his home, even if it meant that he had to face his worst fears.

Is this the start of the Second Celestial War?

You and him don't have the same relationship or baggage as he does with his brothers >.>

god and barbatos could have seen this coming, and suggested to diavolo he make a pact with lucifer (”control him, my lord. i foresee a tragedy should you not tame this fallen angel”) and thus control him and ensure his eternal power over the devildom?
