In all seriousness, the potential angst?? The brothers and MC think he's dead and are grieving until Simeon returns to them, looking a bit frantic as he says

"Lucifer's back. He's in the Celestial Realm."

- And they will overturn entire realms to get him back.

Ever since his death, they're all a bit different; as demons, the brothers never thought that death would come knocking on their door to take one of their own. MC is the only person keeping them together - barely.

Mammon throws himself into his reckless habits because it distracts him from Lucifer's death absence. (It only serves to remind him of his reprimands, and he only digs the hole deeper as he finds new, increasingly life-threatening things to get involved with.) It takes MC crying to get him to change, and he actually takes charge in looking after them all.

Levi rarely comes out of his room and forgets to eat. Lucifer was the one who usually checked up on him, but he's gone now, gone forever, and every responsible thing he does reminds him of Lucifer and it hurts and wow, he never got to say how much he loves and appreciates him because he was too busy wrapped up in his own thoughts like the worthless otaku he is -

Satan is...conflicted. Finally, he doesn't have to worry about being seen as nothing more than Lucifer's shadow (even though MC helped with this a lot), but...what is this sinking feeling? He doesn't want it. He...He didn't want this. (The line between love and hate is thin, but Satan is nothing if not an expert at balancing on that worn, faded strip.)

Asmo stops going to The Fall. He usually goes twice a week with Lucifer, but now Lucifer isn't here anymore so what's the point? It was something only the two of them shared, away from the rest of their brothers, and now it would just remind him of their shared glances and knowing smiles. It just...hurts, now. Lucifer was one of the only ones who, while stern with him whenever his flirting got out of hand, saw past his sin and had late-night talks with him whenever he wasn't absorbed in his work. His smiles are less genuine, a front.

Beel takes it the hardest, believing that it's his fault. He couldn't protect Lilith. He couldn't protect Belphie when he needed him. Now...Now he failed to protect Lucifer, which was his sole role in the Celestial Realm. Who? Who else is next? Please don't take anyone else away from me. One more and he will break. He barely eats, and doesn't fly into a rage once hungry enough. He visits Cerberus to groom him, and cries into his fur because he doesn't want anyone else to see. He doesn't want anyone else to worry. Is this my punishment?

Belphie sleeps less, surprisingly. How can he sleep when all that he'll dream of is their argument about the exchange program, that flash of anguish as he locked Belphie in the attic? Once upon a time, they were close. He remembers when Lucifer would play the piano for him whenever he had a particularly bad nightmare, and now he frequently visits Lucifer's room to sit at the piano and lightly touch the keys. He doesn't play anything. Even though they fought...even though they had a falling out...We can't make up after all these years only for you go and die, idiot.

So when Simeon tells them that he's back? They're all on a mission.

And Lucifer will do whatever it takes to get back to his family, his home, even if it meant that he had to face his worst fears.

Is this the start of the Second Celestial War?

Like, he's actually so playful in the way where he likes to use your words against you, or copying your manorisms just to lightly poke fun at you🥰 Honestly, if it's just the two of you, he won't even notice how much of himself he lets go until you mention it🥺💕

Tbh I don't pay enough attention to Lucifer in game to notice him being like that out of the anime (or maybe I have and I just forgot? fdshkjgdhfg which is very possible) but honestly whether he is or not, your take is so good >.< I know he's a different kind of soft with you/MC whenever you're together vs with his brothers (different kind of little shit energy lol more like 'annoying big brother') which is understandable... You and him don't have the same relationship or baggage as he does with his brothers >.>

I'm so so fond of Lucifer being so annoying in a light and relaxed way + being more open and vulnerable around you. Fully believe that he'd tease you about the brother you like if he wasn't into you and would give you that 'look' whenever he sees you alone with them lmao

However, out of the corner of your eye you could see Mammon on his way out the door. He had given you his sunglasses earlier, and they were currently sitting on your head.

"Mammon!" He stopped in his tracks and made his way back to the kitchen sheepishly, wondering if he was in trouble. "Yo, what's up MC?" You gave him a bit of a "look" and pointed at your head, trying to remind him of the sunglasses. "You forgot something!" You wondered why he blushed so hard as you went to take off his sunglasses, only to blush just as hard when he gave you a quick kiss on the forehead. When he stepped back he was still blushy, but had a huge smile plastered on his face. "W-well there ya go! I won't forget to do that again y'know" you stared at him, flustered. "I um...I meant the sunglasses....but I didn't mind..." his glasses in your hand now. He flushed even more "I- I of course ya didn't mind! Ya got a kiss from the GREAT MAMMON!...eh...but thanks, I was wonderin where these were.."

god and barbatos could have seen this coming, and suggested to diavolo he make a pact with lucifer (”control him, my lord. i foresee a tragedy should you not tame this fallen angel”) and thus control him and ensure his eternal power over the devildom?

I was screaming about it in another gc, but basically, Lucifer's new outfit looks like a mix of a priest and professor's outfit. Friend of mine galaxy brained and said mix it together and that's how we came up with the whole religious studies professor thing! And it can also work well for corruption, but in a more modern sense👀 I'm gonna write it I swear!
