Joss: Yeah, well, you know...

Marti: I like your hair!

Seth: I was dead-serious, dude. There was no joke about it.

Joss: No, it was good. It would change colors occasionally.

Seth: Yeah, which became just a fun - I like that there was the allowance for that to happen.

Joss: Well that's just him.

Is anyone surprised when Seth shows up on the set with a new hair colour?

No! It's just one of those things. He's so obsessed by his hair that he'll go for weeks talking about which shade of black. It's like, "It's black. Who cares?" It's always for a different role. The black thing was for Austin Powers. He's got these little spiky things and he's like, "Does my hair look OK?" It's like, "It looks the same as it always does! I can't tell! It's spiky! I don't care about your hair nearly as much as you do!" It's hilarious! He's more of a girl than any of us. And so is David Boreanaz. He always comes in with his hair already done. He won't let anyone touch his hair.

Really?!

(Impersonates David) "Don't touch the hair!" It's so funny. The boys are so much more anal about their hair.

Moderator: <Kristen-SG> to <Moderator>: Your hair color changes with every role. What has been your favorite color and why?

SethGreen: I don't know, i change my hair to suit whatever character I am playing, so long as it serves the part, to create a particular look, I am happy. It's basically cheating so I don't have to act as hard.

"What started as an act of expressionism became a signature," he laughs, slouched in a chair at the Ritz-Carlton. "At first I started dyeing my hair, because I could never do it in high school. So I thought, 'What the hell?' Then everyone was like, 'What's with the hair?' "

From flyergreg77: I think your new look is cool. Did you get the buzz cut for a movie?

I cut my hair initially right after Rat Race but have kept it for a while. Over the last few years, I seem to have inspired some fuss over my hair, with the silly colors or cuts I've had. Shaving your head is like a metaphorical rebirth, and I wanted to see what I looked like without that shield. It forces you to check your vanity. You're vulnerable and real, and you meet people saying, "This is me. Take it or leave it".

Tonight I rewatched the 2004 comedy movie Without A Paddle which I remember liking quite a lot when I was a teen but it really hasn't aged well. There are few physical set pieces which are entertaining such as the trio running through a flaming field of marijuana and getting high (minus Dax Shepard's Pakistani impression when the red dot from one of the hillbilly's sniper rifles appears on his forehead…ooh, can't do that mate) and the moment where the trio are double spooning for warmth and Matthew Lillard's character tricks SethGreen's character into getting an erection which brushes up against Shepards arse. However in terms of actual funny lines the film is quite sorely lacking. The only line that gave me a chuckle was at the start where the trio attend the funeral of their friend and as his ex lover tearfully caresses the coffin SethGreen's character quips "Look at that, Billy's dead and he's still got a better chance of getting laid than I do". While watching the film I came up with a few suggestions of ways to improve the movie. For instance at the start we get a flashback of all the friends during childhood jumping a river on their bkes one by one except for Seth Green's character who predictably tumbles into it. Instead of this I think it would be funnier if he made it but then the friends push him into the river anyway. Also one of the hillbillies tells his brother to leave his cleaver behind as it will be of no use to them. We never hear of this again but if later on they found themselves in a predicament where they'd need a cleaver such as tied up in reeds and headed towards a waterfall then this would make it a worthwhile detail. It's been a while since I've given myself an utterly pointless challenge so I think I might genuinely have a go at rewriting the screenplay of this underwhelming comedy movie from twenty years ago.
