Licht would be the type of aroace that's absolutely down to play the pocky game, partly because hey, free chocolate, and partly because he always wins. He thinks it's thanks to his angelic powers and not because his Servamp is a mess that's totally weak to this sort of stuff. Hyde is okay with that misunderstanding. It's a win win.

He makes his tea in the microwave then wonders why it’s not as good as when Mahiru boils water on the stove

For his birthday, Tooru will try and get time off to take him out to his favorite ramen place. Kuro gets adorably shy about it and actually is reasonable with what he orders. Mahiru thought he’d have to scold him, but maybe a spoiled Kuro is actually a certain type of privilege? (He has no idea he’s the same way)

He takes really awkward photos when he tries to smile for them. He’s not really one for selfies, so it takes him a while to get the hang of it. Lawless stares really hard at niisan’s wobbly photo smile then slams it as his background image

His vtuber model is a gift from Gear, who does rigging for fun. Kuro thinks he’s crazy but doesn’t say it, just accepts the summons to game when it appears and he has time

Much to Mahiru’s surprise, he both knows how and is skilled in preparing animals to be cooked. Mahiru himself is kind of squeamish about some of the work so it makes Kuro feel useful. Unfortunately, it gives Tooru the idea that a family camping trip might be fun

He will not learn to drive. He refuses. Cars are scary, driving is scary, the people driving other cars are scary. It’s too much responsibility. Just give him a bike or like. A horse. Horses are cool. He likes horses.

He will absolutely still get behind the wheel and figure it out if he has to. Once he starts thinking about it as an emergency measure for Mahiru’s sake, it’s… Easier. He’s still terrified out of his mind but He’ll Manage

Sometimes when he’s bored and nobody is available to play with him he’ll get inner sloth to use the other controller by “giving it” to his coat

He shares a birthday party with Tsubaki so they both get two. One with their little families, and one with their big group of friends/family. It’s still… So amazing to him. That he has a family who was glad he was born.

Btw I'm assuming this being pre-Licht Lawless, so he isn't going to be very pleasant!

Being Lawless' Eve would be difficult. Demanding, even. You can see from the moment you are bound together, that what he cares about isn't you, but how you can entertain him. Whether you are an actor, a singer, or anything else, he wants you to never lose focus or you'll lose his interest. You never asked him what happened to his previous Eves, you didn't need to. There was a glimpse into his eyes you could perceive whenever you were performing, something almost threatening behind his pair of glasses. You tried to ignore the feeling that maybe being his Eve wasn't that good of an idea.

You ignore that gaze and keep on working towards your goals, striving for perfection... and that's actuallyu how you managed to get close to him! You wouldn't exactly call him a friend, but you managed to find a common ground. It's not an easy task - spending most of your time around him, you've come to realize that behind his silly demeanor, Lawless seems to be harboring some kind of shadow you don't ask him about - boundaries are what allow you survive being his Eve. He is difficult to deal with, capricious, exhausting, but, day after day, step after step, he doesn't just seem to find a mere plaything to throw away when he gets bored. Guildestern and Cratz too had noticed a subtle shift in his behaviour - they had started making bets on how long you'd last as his Eve, and were quite surprised with how Lawless almost seemed to enjoy your company. Behind all the teasing and quarrels, it was obvious to anyone but the two of you: friendship was born!

From then on sharing your life with Lawless became easier. You could even think he respected you - and you respected him. Neither of you shown it, but you functioned well together.

Let's be serious: the only reason why you ended up making a contract with was by complete accident (just like what happened with Mahiru). There's no way for Sleepy Ash to be willing to get an Eve - and you want don't want anything to do with this lazy hikkimori you welcomed in your home, fooled by his cute cat appearance. Somehow you ended up sharing your home with him and there was nothing you could do to change the state things were.

It was frustrating to say the least - everyday you'd come back home, the little black cat reverting to his human form, and while you were busy doing chores after a tiring day, Sleepy Ash would be doing nothing but eating junk food and playing video games. He wasn't the best roommate... but not the worst neither; it took you some time (a lot, to be honest) before finally starting to get to know him - how he preffered one snack you bought him over another, or how he told you you reminded him of one of his siblings. Day after, despite being always quite uninterested and quiet, Sleepy Ash would start opening up. Sometimes he'd even smile too. He'd crack a joke or two. Sleepy Ash had many flaws - it would take you aget to count them all - but you learnt how to appreciate them a anyway.

Coming home after a tiring day, Sleepy Ash became someone familiar, a part of your everyday life, an important piece of your routine. He'd make himself comfortable on the sofa, while you'd tell him about your day. He pretends not to be listening - too focused on the latest game you had gifted him - but he actually values every word you say.

These do not have to be only italian crimes. As a german for example I feel my toes curl outwards when I hear of "sweet Pretzles", and i know for a fact that sticking your chopsticks into rice is not just rude, but a straight up taboo in japan.

You are right! This is definitely a fun idea to think about! I’m sorry it took so long to get the reply out to you, but thanks so much for the request and for allowing me such freedom within it. Also, totally not feeling called out by the ketchup on pasta comment. Totally not…for what it’s worth though, a bag of pasta and a large bottle of ketchup costs about $10 where I live, so it’s cheap and does a lot of meals, which is good for when you’re a broke bitch but still want to live. I hope you’ll enjoy some of the thoughts I have on each of my current favourites or focuses from a variety of my fandoms!

From KHR, two words – blue steak. Because it’s certainly one of Bel’s favourites. His steak? Yeah, he wants it to have just been mooing like, two seconds ago. He wants the steak and the pan it was cooked in to have had just the barest, briefest hint of a romance. They barely kissed, in other words. The level he eats it at isn’t just rare, but even below rare, and it sometimes kind of grosses other people out. Of course, Bel being Bel, he kind of delights in this fact and it makes him even more enamored of this particular ‘food crime’.

From K Project, I think Fujishima eats Kit-Kats without ever breaking any of the bars. He just unwraps the top part of the Kit-Kat bar and takes a big bite out of it.

From Servamp, Tsurugi eats with his hands a lot of the time. Unless it’s absolutely inconceivably to eat something with just his hands, like hot soup, he’s probably eaten a dish using solely his hands before. He does know utensils exist and he’ll use them, only sometimes when it’s a more casual setting, or most of the time when he’s in a public setting, he just vastly prefers eating with his hands.

From Iruma-kun, Sabnock has eaten hard-boiled and soft-boiled egg with the shell on. More than once. He doesn’t even really see much a difference in eating it whole or peeling the shell off besides that there’s more flavour and texture with the shell on.

From Bungou Stray Dogs, when Dazai really feels like pissing people off, or is just extremely lazy, he makes tea completely incorrectly. He’ll just pop a teabag in a cup, run the tap water until it gets really, really hot, and fill the cup and ta-da, tea. He makes sure to let everyone around him know how delicious it is while he drinks it. He also reuses teabags…just never for his own cup of tea.

Rock from Nanbaka definitely puts ketchup on his eggs. He also kind of really digs French fries dipped into ranch dressing.

Togano from Eyeshield 21 is just kind of really guilty of forgetting to season any food he cooks. Despite what people think, he can cook more than just cup noodles, but all of his cooking is pretty unsatisfying and bland, though he doesn’t really understand why, which is why he eats prepackaged foods or takeout so often.

From The Vampire Dies In No Time, Satetsu really likes mayo. He’ll eat just mayo sandwiches – just bread and mayo. He also enjoys it on rice, but he only indulges that guilty pleasure when he’s alone.

Charles Bernard from Jujutsu Kaisen scrapes off the frosting from Oreos and throws it away because he thinks it tastes gross. He then just eats the chocolate parts of the cookies, but instead of chewing them, he kind of just lets them slowly dissolve in his mouth.

In another Oreo related crime, Fenrir Godspeed from IkeRev would eat Oreos with honey mustard unashamedly.

I kinda ship everyone with everyone LOL 😆. But I have this funny headcanon about Kuro and Gear being Exes and broke off NOT in a good term. But after all these years they finally meet again with their own new partner... so the convos that they have in england, on gear's balcony, it would be like..

Gear: so you finally found the one, huh?

Kuro: it's not like that....

Gear: uh-huh, with how you talk to him guess he's able to "open" you up from the inside. Beside, you never even have an eve before. So what changed..

Kuro: ...... well how about you, you found someone too..

Gear: i raised him. I'm literally his dad.

Kuro: I see, so the scarf made from your fur is your fatherly love... you being soft now. Can't even imagine that

Hyde never bothered to tell his Eves a lot about the details of how a contract worked, let alone things about himself. It wasn't like he was keeping secrets, but what did it matter? They'd be dead soon anyway, they didn’t need all that info. It was no different with Licht, in the beginning anyway, and some things just never came up later, you know?

Now, Hyde knows some German, naturally; not that it mattered, he'd understand Licht anyway, and Licht usually doesn't talk to him in German either. He only seems to when he's stressed and not paying attention; the first time was when they were running late to a concert, a half-hearted insult about hurrying up, and Hyde didn't bother to respond. Licht, however, seemed to have expected a reaction, or at least drew the conclusion that Hyde doesn't understand German, because he started voicing minor frustrations in German more frequently, obviously not expecting Hyde to react. And Hyde being Hyde thought it'd be hilarious to see how long he can fool Licht.

Except that over time... things change a bit. What Licht says gets softer, contains less and less insults, all while the way Licht acts towards him or the things he tells him in English or Japanese don't change in the slightest. Hyde was able to brush it off long enough (acknowledging your emotions and dealing with them in a healthy way? never heard of her), but the stuff Licht mutters under his breath is getting... more intense, and it may only be a matter of time until he confesses his love to him or something. And Hyde is once again stuck in a situation where he absolutely missed the point to tell Licht the truth, and gets to use his full acting skills to keep up this facade.

Guil decided it was better not to tell Crantz about the translator. It's enough that one of them has to watch this disaster.

Happy birthday Tsubaki! As per my usual, I’ve got some headcanons prepared~

He’s considered to be one of Japan’s most eligible bachelors. Handsome, successful CEO, seems to have a good personality (lol), his employees only have good things to say about him, supportive guardian of a gay child

The yearly Halloween party he throws is open to anyone with an invitation, and his subclass are encouraged to invite whoever they want. It’s Halloween! If a bunch of people have fangs, that’s clearly part of the costume

He’s picky with his game and variety shows, but my god, he LOVES drama television. Reality tv just doesn’t interest him very much. Quit trying to sell him something clearly manufactured as authentic.

He got TOO good at uta garuta (a card matching game played a lot around new years. One person reads part of a poem, and the other players have to scramble to find the card that matches the last line of the poem being read) so, to even the playing field, his subclass who are from aaall over the world submitted various extra cards using well known poems from their countries. It’s a change that really got him interested in foreign poetry, so now his shelves are occupied with anthologies in various languages, gifted to him by the same subclass he asked to suggest new cards for the game.

He is not, however, any good at kendama. Sakuya is the best at it and this makes his sulkiness worse

The first snow of the year is usually when he lights incense for his sister. It’s a very quiet, somber affair. The others know he’s mourning someone. Only recently have they discovered who. Otogiri and Sakuya request to be allowed to join him in offering her prayers. They get it. You can never forget that kind of love, or that kind of betrayal, or that kind of grief. But they also love you. For the sake of those no longer with them, and for the sake of those who still are… Let’s wait for Spring, together.

Oh another headcanon I have is the reason team M elites are called elites.

They spent a long time trying to decide what to be called(Shamrock recommend Upper Ranks which got vetod for "sounding lame"), they couldn't decide on a good name, then one day during a fight a c3 agent was like "Oh fuck it's the melancholy elites run" and they were just like "Fuck it let's go with that, sure"

Hey, it saved them some effort and it strikes fear into the hearts of wussy C3 members! They'll take it!

Also I can only imagine how often something Sham suggests is swatted away for "sounding lame" www. If its a not so serious matter where they dont gotta lock in, Sham's "lack of creativity" is clowned on a lot by Belkia and Higan. He gets so mad LOL
