The scorn at her voice when she uttered the word basic caused Diego to scoff. "Luxury, naturally," he answered. There was a slight edge of pride to his tone. Maybe even some derision. He'd taken the hotel from what it had been to what it currently was, and was determined to keep expanding. If the plans hadn't fallen through, he would be mere months away from standing in the lobby of his new location, and looking towards a future where he would open a resort. Had his plans not fallen through. But that was a thought for another day, he decided. Not that the situation was ever too far from his thoughts. "Welcoming, of course. The first location is a bit more family friendly. I'm aiming to making this more upscale, more a vacation destination."

A meeting with her investor done and dusted, Vittoria decided to kill some time before she had to head back to Pandora’s Box to prepare for the evening ahead. She found that meandering around The Green aided in clearing her head, pushing aside any unwanted thoughts before conquering the night ahead. It was bound to be a busy one, and she certainly didn’t have any time for distractions.

It took a few minutes to find a spare spot to sit, practically every table and bench were occupied by lovey dovey couples relishing in their young love, or mothers with their hands full trying to have a picnic with their rambunctious little ones, but finally, she’d secured a seat, offering the man opposite her at the table a polite smile. “I hope you don’t mind. I won’t be a bother.” She greeted with a wave of her hand, her thick Italian accent sounded melodic against the American accents of those chatting around her.

Normally, she wouldn’t initiate conversation unless it was absolutely necessary, she usually preferred to remain aloof, like the ice queen she had been dubbed since she arrived in Denver, but when the man asked her a question, she glanced up from the phone resting in her palm. “It depends...” The brunette began, shifting in her position and placing her device onto the table in front of her in a bid to gain more focus. “What type of hotel is it? Luxury? Or... the more...” A pause. “Basic hotel... you know the ones that are just there to serve their purpose more than anything else?” She’d been in his shoes before, although, instead of a hotel, it was a jazz club that she’d cultivated to perfection since arriving. “Do you have a particular vibe you want?”
