INTRODUCING VERSE 001: SUPERNATURAL 

SETTING: THE SWISS ALPS 

SPECIES: witches, vampires, fae, werewolves, lycanthropes, ghosts, hunters, humans, shapeshifters, merfolk. disclaimer: we won’t have a set lore for any of the species, allowing members to have a say in what species entails. we will also add to the list, though this will not include any species that may be offensive to include from specific cultures, such as w/nd/go.

SYNOPSIS:  

In 1472, the town of Wengen, Switzerland came together quite peacefully as it’s inhabitants were predominantly human carrying out families for generations. Meanwhile, a couple of kilometers away was a coven of witches who seamlessly lived among the humans, never being detected for being supernatural. Even when they were found out during the plague of 1475, they proved their peaceful place in society by healing civilians that fell victim to the spreading disease. Though most of the witches agreed to live peacefully, and tales of the humans displaying outstanding understanding and bravery spread to other countries, the rumors eventually caught the attention of other species of supernatural hoping to find peace themselves. Located in the Swiss alps, Wengen lies in a small, quaint mountainous village of Switzerland and is a welcoming sanctuary to all supernaturals, and humans alike. But how long can so many different species live in harmony?

Lavrants had an important meeting that afternoon, and in the midst of his mind still being in a state of utter confusion, he’d managed to get out the door late. Unlike his usual self. So late, he’d managed to skip out on breakfast, leaving him relatively cranky and hangry, desperately in hopes to find something to satiate his hunger for the time being. The last thing he needed was to make a poor impression on a client. First impressions were everything. But of course, LUCK wasn’t in his favor that morning as his body crashed into another, hot, sticky & sickly-sweet liquid splattering everywhere.

“Is this some kind of sick & twisted joke?” He cursed loudly, grimacing as he looked down at the damage done. “Are you a complete idiot? Obviously you’ve got some on me, you’ve crashed right into me, like a bloody wanker.” Lavrants continued to hiss at the other, the mixture of increased hunger and stress a poor combo. “Do you think your money will truly help make this better?”

It was a moment of weakness and desperation that led her to the current situation, hoping to avoid any true fatalities. And the last thing she’d wanted was to drag a random passer-by into her mess, but they’d left her no choice.

Zane was looking forward to going home, after the full moon and just collapsing in his bed. But, then, he heard the rustling of leaves and against his better judgement decided to investigate further. Little had he expected to find what was a fellow wolf, still coming to life after what he’d assumed was a long night. He remembered what it was like at the beginning, at least. 

“I can help you,” Zane spoke in a reassuring tone, still cautious enough to not invade the other’s personal space. He didn’t want to terrify the male and given how young he was, Zane wasn’t sure how long he’d experienced transformations. “I’ve been where you are before.” And honestly, Zane wished he had someone to guide him through it.

A smirk caressed his face as he wiped the blood from his mouth, releasing the body he'd drained moments before. "I'd apologize, yet sadly I'm incapable of lying." Lavrants chuckled, stepping over the body. “I was never been good with impulse control and their blood was just that sweet. Hunger once again got the best of me,” a dark, amused chuckle escaped him. “I do usually try and clean up before company arrives, however.”
