loverboy ↶*ೃ
pairing, TASM peter parker au x fem!reader
If you went back four years you would have never believed you'd be dating your childhood best friend. I mean of course you had a giant crush Peter but you were too scared of the rejection you somehow were convinced was going to be the outcome.
Yet here you are years later curled up beneath the sheets of his bed pulling the covers higher to try and gain some warmth from the cold winter air blowing outside the closed windows. Your eyes moved around the room to find a way that would distract yourself from the coldness and decided to focus them on your boyfriend who lazed in his desk chair, back hunched over the table attempting to sew up the cuts in his spiderman suit from his last outing.
"Fuck", the boy cursed as he pricked himself with the sewing needle again, lifting his thumb to his lips.
"Pete, i love you but please come to bed and you seriously can't sew for shit" you tried to convince him as you lifted yourself up to lean your back on the headboard of his bed. This was the hundredth time the boy (or ‘man’ as tried to convince you many times before ) had repeated the small action and cursed somehow creating a new profanity each time while wiping his hands on his tank top. And despite finding his toned arms attractive, you knew you had to get up early the next morning.
He childishly stuck his tongue out at you for the comment but reluctantly left the suit and sewing kit on his desk, "fine, but promise me you'll help me with it tomorrow?" Peter replied, and you nodded your head whilst admiring him with a loving look.
"Anything for you lover boy", was all you could say before the words got stuck in your throat as Peter stretched his arms above his head from being sat down for too long and a blush arose on your cheeks as his tank top slid up so his toned torso was on display. You swiftly looked away and focused on your hands that rested in your lap twisting around the silver band with a spider imprinted into the metal, a birthday present from Peter last year.
The spider-boy caught your glances and smiled to himself and shook his head at your innocent blushing. Briefly sticking his head out the door to shout out a goodnight to his aunt May who was awake watching her favourite show downstairs in the lounge, and he then switched off his desk light to join you under the covers.
You both laid down and got into your comfortable positions: your legs tangled together with your head on his chest while his arms were wrapped around your waist lifting you to lay on him. This was the only way either of you could fall asleep and Peter often climbed through your window late at night hoping you'd let him in and help him get to sleep.
"Goodnight m'love", he mumbled to you while placing two kisses upon your forehead and cheek.
"Night petey", you whispered as you both drifted to sleep wishing each other peaceful dreams.

Leander P. X Sebastian S. | Hogwart's Legacy.
Fourth Part.
"That night."
"After a fight, Leander waits for Sebastian as usual. More fighting ensues."
Tags : Angst, no sex (😔), fighting, Leander being an ass, Sebastian isn't the asshole for once, Ominis gossip queen mention.
Sebastian was absent from their usual meeting in the classroom they used for their nighttime activities. Leander had waited for ten whole minutes now, sitting on a chair and staring at whatever. Usually, he was the one late, Sebastian always was early, an habit he had that the red head had picked up on.
But today, Leander was there first. In fact, he might as well be there first for the rest of the night, and alone. He knew perfectly fine why Sebastian was absent. His pride told him that it wasn't really his fault, but his insecurities told him that yes, it was.
He had been the one who had implied that Sebastian was kind of undatable and that no one would ever be jealous of or about him. Yeah. That kind of was an asshole move, Leander was embarrassed at how negatively he had reacted to Sebastian's teasing.
He sighed for what felt like the hundredth time, pondering what to do or say now. Wait some more in case Sebastian was just late ? Go back to his dorm ? Then what ? Do they never fuck again ? Leander does not want that. He needs his fuck sessions with Sebastian.
He felt exhaustion and frustration bubbling under his skin more as the thought of needing Sebastian crossed his mind. He didn't need him. He just... liked to have him. Leander didn't belong to anyone, and he was fairly sure that the Slytherin would never allow himself to belong to anyone fully.
Having had enough, Leander finally stood up and walked toward the exit, determined to go back to his dorms and finally get his oh-so deserved beauty rest.
Before he could even put his hand on the door handle, the large door swung open and made him move out of the way in a surprised motion. Violent, brutal moves... could only be Sebastian. It was.
"-You're late. The Gryffindor said, frowning upon seeing his rival there.
-Ominis was suspicious.
-You didn't tell him, did you ?
-... The lack of response was everything Leander needed.
-Seriously ??
-Don't worry, he may be the Gossip Queen but he won't tell anyone ! Beside... I think we're busted anyway."
For what he was saying, Sebastian looked awfully calm. Leander was positively freaking out. Busted ? How ? Why ? Who ? About what ? The smaller boy frowned.
"-Sweet Merlin Prewett, breath. You look as livid as Reyes when she learned that Quidditch was canceled two years ago. Oddly specific.
-What do you mean we're busted ??? How ??
-Well, you heard it yourself. People know that I go out at night to find a certain... someone. This sounded accusatory. Leander ignored it.
-So what, how could they know it's me ?
-They saw you coming out of the same cubicle as me, moron. I told you to wait, dumbfuck ! For once, the insults didn't turn on Leander.
-You think I didn't ?? You think I want people to know that we fuck every nights ?? That it's YOU of all people I wake up for at night ??
-What are you implying here Prewett ?! I have a feeling that you're criticizing me !! First this morning, now now ?? If ya got something to say, bring it on ! Anger was beginning to rise on both side.
-Yes I am criticizing you, you're the biggest arsehole I've ever seen, and I'm not saying that because I'm ALWAYS in your arse !!
-So what that makes me unlovable ?? Because that's what you seemed to be implying earlier !! So tell me, am I so unlovable to you Prewett ?! A rather big shortcut. Leander was so angry that he didn't realize how irrational this all was.
-Yes, yes you are Sallow !! He regretted the words the instant they came out of his mouth."
He watched in horror as Sebastian's brown eyes widened, and his whole body tensed before oddly relaxing, as if he had gotten a confirmation to what he had been digging for the past few hours.
"-Wait, I didn't-
-I suppose that this is how it ends. Can't have people find out you're fucking the unlovable Slytherin arsehole now, can we ? The glare he shot Leander was almost painful."
The Gryffindor was speechless. Not only had his insecurities gotten the best of him, but now his pride was also making him unable to stop the other boy as he walked away. Why would Leander even try to stop him ? What would he even stop him for ?
They had nothing to begin with, what could he try to save and keep ?
Sebastian disappeared at a corner of the corridor, and Leander realized that he had messed up even more than this morning. Badly.

hi could you write about oc being annoyed and yelling at bf!chan at the dorm kitchen bc oc thinks he ate the food with oc’s name on it. then mingyu comes out and chan is like “hyung help me i didn’t eat it.” but mingyu’s scared now bc he’s the one who ate it
📸 snapshoot #4
pairing: idol! bfchan x g.n. reader genre: fluff warnings: food and eating word count: 640
💌: hi anon! i hope you really like this! thank you so much. Sending all the love. Please take care!
–
Chan, more than anything, knows how to keep his stand and not waver in the slightest bit. So when you accuse him of eating your food that was stored inside the dorm’s fridge, his immediate reaction is to defend himself knowing that he hasn’t eaten a single bite of the food you have been yelling at him about. He didn’t even know you had something inside the fridge to begin with!
“Babe, for the hundredth time,” he groans, exasperated. He massages his temple with both hands, really desperate for you to just drop it. “I didn’t steal your food!”
You roll your eyes and growl back, “I have been saving those all day for tonight! How could you just eat them!”
Chan is dumbfounded and he just can’t believe how stubborn you are. He also can’t believe how similar you are to him. It's making him wonder if he should be flattered that you have something in common or scared because how do you guys even manage to stay civil?
“Why am I even your prime suspect?” He asks, genuinely curious. “Why are you so quick to convict your innocent boyfriend?”
“Are you seriously pulling a joke on me right now?” You ask with your eyes piercing him with a glare. However, said glare quickly dissipates and turns into a pout when you remind him, “You know how I always bring that specific food container, right?”
Chan sighs, understanding your frustration. It’s rare for you to hang out at the dorms because just like the talented group, you’re awfully busy with your own personal life. You usually bring them cooked meals and snacks they can share. But sometimes, you also store some of your favorite foods (labeled) inside their fridge and only eat them once your boyfriend is back from his loaded schedule of work.
He decides to hold you in his arms, an attempt to placate you. You let him, allowing his hand to cradle your head close to his chest. You’re still frowning and pouting, but it’s difficult to stay angry when your boyfriend kisses the top of your head.
Chan was about to offer to buy what you have been craving for and end the argument when Mingyu suddenly enters the kitchen.
“Oh hyung! I’m so glad you’re here,” he walks to his older friend and locks him in place by wrapping his arms around his waist. Finally, a witness that can defend him. “Please, please help me. Tell them I didn’t eat their food!”
Unbeknown to Chan, Mingyu has been listening to your argument and he’s not sure how to tell you guys, his loving friends, that he’s the one, he is the guilty suspect. He throws an awkward smile at you as he tries to escape from his friend’s grasp. But to his dismay, Chan keeps him still.
“Why aren’t you saying anything?” Chan asks, eyebrows furrowed as he looks up at the taller man. “Com on, tell them!”
Your eyes narrow as you study Mingyu’s expression. You watch his eyes widen at Chan, shooting a message you can’t seem to decipher. Then, it dawned upon you. Your eyes widen and jaw drops. You gasp and point your finger at Mingyu.
“Kim Mingyu!” You shout, slowly trudging towards the two boys. “It was you, huh?”
Mingyu gulps and shakes his head frantically. “No–... Hear me out Y/N...”
At the realization, Chan pushes his friend away. “Hyung! How could you eat their food!”
“You stole and ate my food!” You scream and sprint, chasing him to avenge your food. Chan is quick to follow with your actions, also coming for his friend.
Mingyu runs, but he isn't able to escape. Let’s just say you and your boyfriend emptied his wallet as he got dragged to the supermarket to purchase what he just stole and ate.

Carol Danvers ~ Impatient Acts: Part 2 (Consequences)
Part one
Carol Danvers X fem!Reader Smut
Word count: 5,129
Includes: choking, brat taming, face slapping, spanking, whipping, degrading, bondage, gagging, vibrator, edging, strap, overstimulation, anal and praise
[ masterlist ]
Buy me a coffee ☕
~ ~ ~ ~ ~
"I'm cumming, I'm cumming!" You practically scream as you clench desperetly around the strap as you cum hard on the toy, shaking in pleasure as some of your white, sticky liquid escapes around the sides of the toy and spreads across your thigh as you clench them together after pulling the strap out.
You hadn't even regained your breath when Carol speaks her final words that night.
"You're going to regret that."
My Captain has ended the call.
You grinned as the memory of that night played through your mind for the hundredth time that day.
As you fiddled with your keys, trying to find the one to your front door, you considered what toy you would use later on. Since you had broken Carol's number one rule you had found yourself doing it again and again without her knowing (mainly due to the overwhelming fact she hadn't called you since).
Despite getting a release that night, it had made you even more sexually frustrated as Carol's threats seemed to follow you everywhere.
You figured if you were going to get punished for breaking the rule once, you might as well break it as much as you wanted because it wouldn't make a difference.
When you stepped into your house you were still under the impression that Carol wouldn't be back for at least a few more days. You hadn't expected her to be sitting in your house waiting for you. And you definetly underestimated how pissed she would be when you saw her again.
Before you could even think about what you would make for dinner you felt a strong presence behind you that slammed you against the wall before you could react.
You winced at the pain of the shock to you ribs and were thankful for your instincts to turn your head to the side so the wall only collided with some of your cheek.
You hadn't even been able to comprehend these issues when the all too familiar intruder pressed themselves fully against your back and wrapped their hand you had come to memorize like your own around your throat.
The intoxicating scent, glimpse of blonde hair, strong hand with slim fingers and especially the feeling of the covered bulge between her legs that couldn't press itself any further against you told you who it was.
"Hey...Carol." You greeted with a grin as best you could with your restricted airways.
Her hand was locked in an iron grip around your throat. Her fingers dug into the side of your neck so firmly you could feel her fingernail breaking and marking the skin as they pressed down on a vital part of the blood flow around your neck.
Combined with her palm threatening to crush your airways with one movement ignited a fire between your legs.
The pressure of both of these actions made you feel undeniably light headed. Carol reduced her force to allow the blood in your neck to continue towards your head when she spoke. After all, she needed you conscious for what she had planned.
"You don't get to call me that right now, brat. Not after what you've done." She said, the bitterness in her voice sending chills throughout your body that you weren't ready to take seriously yet.
"I'd say I'm sorry," you started with a smirk, "but I'm really no-" Carol didn't let you finish. She spun you around, too quick to stop, before slapping you harshly across the cheek.
You were taken aback by the shock and sting across your cheek, not expecting Carol to be in such a sadistic mood so soon.
She turned your body again towards the stairs this time and shoved you in that direction.
"Move." Was all she said before slapping your ass as a warning not to disobey.
You climbed the stairs as quick as you could but stumbled a couple of times, still recovering from the shock of being slapped so hard. Carol chuckled mockingly in response, making you cheeks burn with embarrassment.
You tried your hardest to recover from this though, trying to maintain your bratty nature as long as you could, knowing that was always what got the best performance out of Carol.
Once you stepped into your bedroom you wandered towards the bed, not sparing Carol a single glance despite your whole body fighting to see the anger filled expression that always ruined your panties.
You could hear her walking purposefully towards you. You could smell her familiar scent that overtook your senses. You could feel her hair tickling your neck as her hands glided over the waist of your blouse.
You couldn't stop yourself tilting your head to the side ever so slightly and stepping back to be against her.
Carol clearly didn't appreciate the gesture. She placed a strong hand between your shoulder blades and forced you onto the bed on your stomach.
Just as you went to move to get up in protest, Carol pinned your shoulders down with a painful strength you were futile to fight against.
She knelt one leg on the bed to lean over you and didn't hesitate to grab at the front of your blouse between your skin and the bed sheets.
There was no grace or sensuality to her movements, only a cold, silent annoyance.
Once she had a hold of the fabric, your girlfriend ripped you blouse apart without a second thought and tossed it across the room, some of the buttons scattering to places you would probably never find.
"What the hell?!" You object, frustrated by the loss of one of your best blouses.
"Quiet." She spitts before yanking at your bra, damming it to the same fate as your blouse.
You huffed quietly, both of you knowing she could have just as easily unhooked it rather than destroy the cloth.
You knew it was a way for Carol to get her point across. You had made a big mistake and you were going to regret it.
She gripped under your bare bicep to pull you up the bed so your face was hovering over your pillow. You turned it to the side to see what Carol was doing, just as she hooked her fingers under the area of you trouser waistband that was just above your ass.
She pulled them down without looking at you, only focusing her attention on your ass that was now only covered with you thin panties.
She gave the smooth skin a sudden slap that made you clench your thighs together tightly, your body fooling itself by thinking that would make any sort of difference against Carol's plans.
The captain then wandered towards your closet, leaving you to watch the empty doorway in anticipation as you lay waiting.
Your eyes widened in shock mixed and undeniable fear as she reappeared, holding a dressage horse whip in her hand. She wouldn't really use that on you...would she?
Carol chuckled darkly as she saw your fearful gaze. Your plans of continuing your bratty acts were jeopardized as soon as you saw the whip.
You whimpered as she arrived at the side of your bed and looked down at you with a now stoic expression.
Holding the whip firmly in her hand as she towered over you was enough to make you want to beg for forgiveness.
The captain radiated power and control, making you start to realise her threats weren't empty and that everything you had done you really would regret.
"Carol..." You whispered as you gave her a pleading look, ashamed that you already wanted to give in and make everything right.
"I've been saving this for a long time, you know? It's only for punishment when my main rule is broken. I always thought I would never have to use it on you. But you're starting to be too much of a brat, a brat that needs to learn her place as a whore." She explained stoicly as her hands wandered over your ass, dipping under your panties.
"I'm sorry." You whimpered as she moved onto the bed just behind you.
"Maybe you are, but that's not enough. You need to learn your lesson." Carol taunted. "If you want to prove you're really sorry you're going to take your punishment and thank me for it. Then maybe I'll stop once I've broken you into a begging, shaking, pathetic mess." Poison dripped from Carol's tone that filled you with dread.
"Tell me, how much of a slut have you been while I was away? I just don't believe you've only disobeyed me once." Of course you contemplated lying. You knew the more she knew the more she would punish you, but if she found out you were lying to her...
"A few." You whispered, afraid of how Carol would respond.
"Specify."
"Maybe...5 times?" You knew how many orgasms you had brought upon yourself, but you were so afraid to tell her.
"Maybe?"
"6?" You started to tremble.
"Don't lie to me." She gripped your hips harshly, her nails digging into your skin, before lifting them up so your ass was lifted up and displayed to her.
You automatically pulled your legs under you, knowing the position she wanted you in and hoping that by coorporating she would have some mercy.
This was proved wrong when she brought her hand down harshly and smacked your still clothed ass, despite the barrier there was still a present sting.
"13." You admitted and clenched the sheets beneath you in a tight fist in hopes of having something to help you through what was to come.
It was a number you had taken some form of pride in before Carol had forced you out of your bratty state. Now you were filled with embarrassment and despair, wanting nothing more than to take it all back and be praised for being a good girl for her.
"Such a slut." Carol growled before a sharp crack sound echoed throughout the room.
It took you a moment to understand what she had done, your body automatically registering it as shock to protect you. But the pain soon made its presence known and you burried your head into the pillows to muffle you cry.
She had whipped you. It hurt more than any other punishment you had ever received and you knew it could only get worse.
Carol's hands ran over the stinging skin before pulling you panties down. You bit your lip and closed you eyes as tight as your grip on the sheets.
"Then I think 13 strikes will suffice."
She had barely finished her sentence when Carol struck you again. This time you lurched forward and cried out loudly into the pillows while pulling the sheets close to you.
"Th-thank you." You whimpered, tears brimming in your eyes as you turned your head to the side to speak audibly.
You couldn't see her of course, but Carol was grinning sadistically at the sight of you. Your clear signs of pain encouraging her to struck again, and again and again.
You struggled to speak after each strike from the whip, but forced yourself to between sobs, not wanting to prolong the punishment or make things worse for yourself.
As much as pain always turned you on, this was a new kind that was almost unbearable. You needed easing into this level of pain, yet you felt as though you had been thrown in the deep end with no ladder to help you out. You would later figure out that was what made the punishment so effective.
After 6 strikes Carol paused to admire the stripped skin on your ass. It was already raw and sensitive to the touch. She almost felt sorry for you, having to endure the pain for a lot longer and being shown no mercy. But brats had to be put in their place. You had to learn.
"Only 7 more." Carol chuckled. Tears streamed down your face as you felt Carol's hands brushing over your broken skin.
"I'm sorry." You sobbed, lifting your head slightly. "I'll never do it again...just please...I can't take anymore." You begged pathetically beneath her.
"You're going to take this punishment or I'm going to be even more disappointed in you. This is all your own doing." Carol spoke without empathy or any emotion, making sure you knew she wouldn't stop.
She picked up the whip and brought it down on your broken skin. The intense sting felt different and told you these strikes would be etching deeper into your flesh, drawing blood to the surface only to be slapped away by the whip when it returned.
It was an unbearable pain. When you weren't thanking Carol or crying in pain you were begging her to stop, everytime thinking the next strike would hit your soul.
When Carol had finally struck you for the last time you collapsed into the bed, your legs no longer able to hold you.
You hadn't noticed her leave, but she must have as you became aware of more objects being placed near the end of the bed. You wanted to peer down in curiosity, but also knew whatever she had was for your punishment and would only bring you more dread.
Carol held your waist and moved you onto your back so you were looking up at her. The feeling of the sheets against your broken skin made you flinch in discomfort but was almost forgotten when Carol placed her hands on you cheeks to wipe away your tears. It was the only loving gesture you would get for the time being.
"Do you still want your Captain's forgiveness?" She asked, knowing the answer but wanting you to say it.
"Yes." You breathed out. "I'll do anything, I'm sorry I-" Carol cut you off by placing a finger over your lips.
She grabbed a pair of black, leather cuffs from her collection on the bed and before she could even reach for your hands you were placing them at the headboard for her.
She showed no signs of consideration of praise for the act or even recognition, but on the inside Carol was gleaming at everything you did. Your desperation to please her made her want to praise and pleasure you for hours. She had to remind herself of what you had done to end up in this situation. Reminding herself to give you the punishment you deserve for being a dirty slut.
Next, she spread you legs wide apart and cuffed each ankle to each side of the bed, stopping you from closing you legs or even rubbing your thighs together for friction.
It was then that Carol brought your attention to the vibrator in her hand. Without a word, she turned it on full and pressed it against your folds. Your leaking arousal and wanton for the vibrations allowed your lips to part for the toy and quickly engulf it into your needy pussy.
You moaned in pleasure and closed you eyes, surprised Carol was giving you this pleasure but not going to question it.
She watched your facial expressions with a satisfied smirk as she pulled her sweatpants down to reveal the sizeable strap on you hadn't yet seen.
She thought you looked so beautiful blissed out from the toy, your back arching to present your breasts and peaking nipples to her as your thighs strained against the restraints.
Her gaze was especially focused on the wetness seeping out of you, telling Carol just how much you wanted her.
"You don't get to cum until I give you permission." She stated before going to straddle your stomach.
Your eyes flickered open before widening at the sight of a new strap on just inches away from your face.
It was the largest one you had ever seen on Carol and figured she must have bought it on her trip as you had never seen it before.
However you weren't given a chance to ponder on this as she was instantly pressing it against your lips.
You opened your mouth for her compliantly and were quickly made aware you were going to struggle with the girth as well as the length.
You had your mouth as wide as you could manage and yet the strap still struggled to fit, stretching your mouth in an uncomfortable way you hadn't experienced before.
Carol watched every feature of your face as you struggled to take the strap. Not missing the look of hopelessness of getting it in as well as fighting back the distracting pleasure building between your legs. You wouldn't last long with the vibrator and you would never be able to fit the strap on in your mouth.
"I thought you wanted to make it up to me. If you can't even suck my fucking cock how will you manage it in you other slutty holes."
You tried to protest against the strap, assure Carol you could take it and try not to worry over the stretch you would experience in other body parts later on.
Carol smirked at your attempt to communicate with her, not being able to hold back further comments to provoke you.
"You really think you can take this?" Carol asked with a smirk and mocking tone. You tried to nod your head in response, painfully aware you barely had the tip in and was already struggling with it and the buzz between your legs.
"If you insist." Carol bit back a laugh as she thrust her hips towards you, the strap forcing itself into your mouth and surpassing you gag reflex in an instant.
Your eyes pleaded with her as you realised you really couldn't take the strap.
"You wanna keep going?" Carol taunted, knowing you were now physically incapable of shaking your head no.
The more you pleaded the further she sunk the strap in. You gagged and choked around the toy, eyes watering as it hit the back of your throat.
Your arms and legs desperetly struggled against the restraints as Carol finally pushed the strap in entirely.
She locked eyes with you the whole time, especially when she pulled the strap out slightly only to ram it back into your mouth to make you gag violently in protest.
Meanwhile the vibrator never faltered in its buzz that was electrifying your whole body. You knew you were edging closer and closer to that sweet release and that Carol would put you through the torture of having to hold your orgasm at bay, something you almost always failed at.
Your mouth and throat ached and you were vaguely aware of the trail of saliva travelled down your chin and either side of your mouth, you body attempting to lubricate your mouth and toy to ease the process but only adding to your humiliation.
Carol continued her bruising pace of fucking your drooling mouth as she smirked down at you sadistically, memorizing every detail of your blissed and pained face. The two sides of your battled against each other, not knowing which to give in to.
When your body finally fell limp in defeat you heard Carol chuckle as she pulled the strap out of your mouth, which apparently hurt just as much as it going in.
The moment is was out you gave a loud whorish moan, telling Carol you so desperetly needed to cum.
"What do you say?" Carol teased as she started to rub your clit in tight circles with her fingers, relishing in how much your wetness had spread.
"Please may I cum, Captain?" You begged and whimpered, desperate for your release.
"Hmm," Carol mused as she fiddled with the vibrator while listening to you struggle to hold off your orgasm. "No." She said simply before pulling the soaking vibrator out and turning it off.
Before you could whine in protest Carol looked at the vibrator in annoyance.
"Look at the fucking mess you've made, slut. Getting your whorish juices all over my toys and bed. Disgusting." She stated bitterly in an attempt to hold back how much she was internally gleaming at the mess while being able to humiliate you.
"I'm sorry." You apologised as Carol moved over to you again, slowly spreading your thighs as she positioned herself between them.
You looked down in silence, as to follow her lead, and watched the huge toy attached to Carol wander up your thigh.
You both knew you needed preparation for something that size. That on any other occasion Carol would have whispered sweet nothings into your ear as she introduced you to new sizes and girths.
But you were being punished. Everything was different. There would be no preparation for you.
"Captain..." You whispered as she lined up the strap to your still soaking entrance.
Carol ignored you as she placed her hands firmly on both of your thighs, keeping them spread for her merciless attack that was to follow.
"Be a good girl and take my cock, baby. Then maybe I'll start thinking about forgiving you." She said as the strap stroked your folds, nudging at your lower lips and separating them.
You held your breath as Carol pushing the tip inside you, instantly reminding you of the substantial girth.
You attempted to move your legs in response, automatically wanting to close them to prevent any more of the strap entering you. But Carol's grip on your thighs tightened and she held you down firmly.
In a silent concentration, she pushed her hips forward and the strap followed, stretching your walls for its entrance making you moan out and pull against every cuff restraining you.
"Ah! Captain!" You protested as she thrust further inside you, not being able to see that she was entranced by the show your wet pussy was giving her. Your outer lips opening more and more for the intruder, almost folding back on themselves as your wetness was heard around the toy, there being no space for it to leek out but still being present on the outside from earlier.
Your pussy ached as the strap sunk deeper, pushing against your walls and you having no way to stop it.
Just when you thought maybe it was in entirely, Carol gave one final thrust and the strap thrust against the back of your pussy with so much force it was bruising.
The girth and length was still clearly too much for what you were built for as it continued to push against every side of your cunt, especially at the back where it was threatening to rip through.
You moaned over and over, struggling to form words and accomdate the brutal strap. You were overwhelmed with pleasure and pain, hardly able to handle either never mind both.
You panted and drooled, not having any control over any of your body, only being a puppet for Carol to command.
She pulled the strap out slightly, only to slam it back in with force that made your whole body jerk and shudder. She pulled out more the next time, as though giving you a moment to prepare before thrusting the toy back into your still unprepared cunt.
It was as though your walls retracted every time she pulled out, making her re-entrance just as painful as the last.
Despite this, in the brief moments the strap left you your whole body yearned for it back, feeling completely empty without it.
"Your cunt's taking my cock so well, so desperate to be filled up by me." Carol chuckled to hide her moans.
Her pace never faulted, never giving you a break. Every thrust was just as hard as the last, leaving you a moaning and shuddering mess beneath her.
Her nails started to dig into your flesh as she pounded the strap into you.
In a flash, her left hand left yourself thigh and planted itself next to your head, gripping the sheets tightly and taking her fucking with a new vigour you didn't know she was capable of.
You were practically screaming everytime the strap hit the back of your pussy. Somehow Carol was able to tilt the strap at the last moment to slam against your g-spot, like it was trying to break through a barrier.
"You feel how deep my cock is inside you, slut? You want more?" You could only moan in response, not being able to vocalist with words how much you needed her.
You desperately wanted to cling onto her back as you approached your high. The feeling in your lower stomach increased and you could only moan louder in response to it, your pussy clamping down on the strap as it prepared itself for its release.
"C-Captain!" You wailed as your whole body tensed up.
You came with a scream of her name, clenching around the strap and gasping out for air. Your hips rolled, your back arched, your eyes clenched shut as you saw blanks and your pussy shuddered as it squirted your cum out of it, your now stretched hole allowing some of it to dribble down around the strap and onto the bed.
Carol could hardly contain her moan as she felt your cum spreading on both of your thighs.
She didn't give you a chance to recover. You were still being punished and Carol was far from done with you.
Her pace was unrelenting and merciless, fucking you through your high and into another orgasm.
"You clench so nicely around my cock, so needy. Do you want more?" She taunted, knowing you could barely respond and not caring if you did - unless, of course, you called the safe word.
Your body was at war with itself. You squirmed beneath but also bucked your hips up to meet her thrusts. You could focus on nothing but the intense pleasure between your legs, the pain there being long gone but Carol's nails still dug into you.
You didn't know how many orgasms she had ripped from your body. You were hardly aware of the drenched sheets beneath you. You failed to notice the hungry, lust filled look Carol was giving you through every single one of your orgasms she tore from you.
"Too much...I...can't..." You tried to say as you moved against the restraints. You were being overstimulated and it was beginning to become too much for you for you to handle.
She finally slowed her pace to a stop and pulled the strap out completely, leaving you panting on your back while she adjusted the restraints at your ankles. Even wiping some of your cum off her thigh and sucking it into her mouth when she had her back to you and you weren't looking. Not that she had to be secretive of course, your mind was blank after the fucking you had just gotten.
You only realised Carol had undone the restraints at your ankles when she flipped you onto your stomach, back into your previous position. You whimpered at the vulnerability as Carol lifted your ass into the air and spread your legs as wide as they could go before cuffing them in place again.
You had hardly gotten your breath back went you felt Carol behind you, pressing the strap against your ass.
You gulped as you realised her intentions, knowing the stretching you received prior would be nothing compared to this.
"I'm sorry Captain!" You pleaded. "I'll never touch myself again, please! I'm sorry!" You cried in a final attempt to avoid the punishment or at least have it eased.
Carol ignored you and placed a hand on both of your cheeks, spreading them for the strap that inserted itself into you.
You whined and stared down at your pillows as you felt the strap penetrate your ass, thankful for the cum still on the strap acting as a kind of lube.
The ache and stretch become apparent almost straight away. You whined louder as Carol pushed on and held you in her hands.
You tried to squirm away but your attempts were futile and you could only endure the pain of the strap breaking down your barriers.
She continued pushing onwards deeper and deeper inside you as you body betrayed you and started to clench around the uncomfortable intruder and make yourself tighter.
You continued to plead, beg and whine when Carol pushed the strap half way in.
"What's that? You want more?" Carol chuckled darkly before thrusting the strap in entirely and making you scream in protest as the pain shot through out your body.
There was a moments silence before Carol pulled the strap out and rammed it back in mercilessly, giving you no chance to adjust.
The sound that followed with each thrust made you blush in embarrassment and moan loudly, hearing your cum mixing around your ass.
"Captain!" You cried out as she pounded the strap into your tight ass and even gripped a handful of your
hair in one hand making you yelp.
You moaned and screamed into the air as she continued her onslaught, punishing you at a bruising pace you wouldn't forget anytime soon.
The sadistic blonde then forced your ass down so you were laying flat on your stomach on the bed before Carol thrusts into you again, her pace instantly picking up where it left off.
Your sounds were now muffled by the pillow under your face from Carol continuing to grip your hair and as a result, keep your head down.
You could feel your high approaching and with no way to speak this to Carol you only moaned louder into the pillow.
With a few final, harder, deeper thrusts, Carol ripped a final orgasm from your body that had you go limp on the bed.
When she let go of your hair you turned your head to the side and closed your eyes to focus on your breathing.
Meanwhile, Carol undid all of cuffs and put the strap on the floor before crawling up the bed to lay down on her side facing you.
"You did so good for me, baby. I'm so proud of you." She cooed as she stroked the hair away from your face and tucked it behind your ear.
You were moments away from falling asleep but you still managed a weak smile at the words made your heart fill with joy.
"Such a good girl for me." She whispered as you closed your eyes. "I'm going to apply some cream while you sleep, baby." She assured as her hand rested inches away from your wounded ass. "And when you wake up we'll take a nice, warm, bath." She promised before kissing your forehead lightly and watched you fall asleep.

_______________________
Life moved on, and despite the growing anxiety I had after my encounter with Chris, things moved smoothly. Chris had disappeared after that night, leaving his resignation from the academy laying on his desk. Liam was busy with wedding plans, occasionally checking in to make sure I was happy with his choices.
He was honestly much more thoughtful about it than I would have been, and I was happy to have his help. My father arranged his leave and was on his way. We also heard from Liam’s parents that they were going to arrive soon as well.
When Liam received the news, he became perfectly still for a few moments. I watched him, concerned at the obvious change.
“Liam, are you okay?”
“I – I don’t know.” His eyes were unfocused, as if staring off into space. “Why… are they coming?”
“Because they’re your parents? I doubt they would miss the wedding of a royal family member, no matter how bad your relationship is.”
“Parents… it’s… all wrong.” Liam seemed to be struggling against some invisible bind. His dark blue eyes flickered, and seemed to almost glow in the shadow of the resting area we sat it.
WARNING. World destabilization detected. Attempting forced conformity… Failure… host and partner soul strength too high.
Unable to see the bright blue words hanging in the air, Liam continued speaking.
“This… isn’t right. I don’t have family." His face was becoming more certain. “It’s not my fate. All I have is…” He glanced at me, his eyes filled with pain. “Bel..?”
WARNING! Stabilize world story immediately or face destruction and mission failure.
I reached out quickly, holding Liam’s hands in my own. “Liam, take a deep breath. Do you trust me?”
“Yes.” He answered without hesitation.
“I know it seems wrong, but for now I need you to go with the idea of having parents and family.”
“But…?”
“Trust me. “
“Okay.” He leaned back, sighing. The glowing dark blue of his eyes faded, and he closed them for a brief moment, before seemingly returning back to normal. “I trust you.”
We don’t belong here.
The uncertainty in this world grew each day. Liam, whoever Chris had become… me… we weren’t from this world. But if we deviated to much, the world could destabilize, and I could fail the mission.
I just needed to keep my head down, blend in and complete the mission.
Try not to rebel too much against the role I’d been given in this world, except the ending.
Simple, right?
_______________________
…
“We’ve talked the last few hours about our lists, now it’s your turn! What do you miss most about Chris, Alaira?”
Maybe world destabilization, mission failure and soul destruction aren’t that bad after all.
I stared at the group of young women in front me, wondering for the hundredth time in the past hour how I had been roped into this... harem support group?
Allie, Ilene and Wen stared back at me, waiting for me to answer.
“I… miss kicking his butt in mock Mech battles?” I winced as I spoke, realizing they would probably take offense at that, but to my surprise they all smiled and nodded.
“Yeah, you were a very important rival to Chris.” Ilene patted me on the back.
Allie spoke up, “He was always talking about how he wanted to beat you and have you accept him as a fellow Guardian. “
“Yeah… he… I…” Wen started to chime in, but then her face crumpled as she sobbed into her hands. “What are we supposed to do now that he’s gone?! What am I supposed to do without him?! What if he never comes back?!”
“I miss him!”
“Me too!”
Soon all three girls were crying, leaving me in uncomfortable silence in the corner.
Blend in, don’t make waves, don’t try to change things….
“I can’t live without him!” Ilene’s dramatic cry broke something within me.
SCREW THIS!
“OKAY GUYS, SHUT UP!” I stood up, placing my hands on my hips as I stared at them. “You are a group of highly intelligent, talented women in the most competitive military academy in the known universe! And you’re nothing without some guy?”
“He’s not just some….” Wen started to interrupt, but was shushed by me.
“No. No matter how much you care for him. He is a guy, and you are all your own person. You have talents, dreams and stories beyond his existence.” I turned to petite girl beside me first. “You! Wen, you’re one of the top engineering students in the program! With your skills, it would be a cinch to improve upon the current Mech design!” After all, she had ramped up Chris’s Mech in the story, surely she could do the same without him!
“And you!” I pointed at Allie. “You’re a Guardian! You're a level B one at that! That's an even higher level than Chris!”
“But I don’t have his drive…”
“You can have his drive! You can have more than his drive! He spent half his time complaining about how people didn’t take him seriously or how people were trying to force him to be a Connector. You can be TEN TIMES the Guardian Chris was!”
I ignored her startled sputterings and turned towards the dark haired girl on the other side. “And you… Ilene.”
She stared at me warily. “What about me?”
“You’re a freaking Princess! And a super talented Connector! How can that become nothing if Chris isn’t around?”
“…I thought you didn’t like me?”
“I don’t.” I answered bluntly. “You treat your brother like trash, and that’s enough for me to want to kick your teeth in.” I sighed, leaning back in my chair. “That being said, just because I hate you doesn’t mean I don’t respect you as a talented Connector. You just have a crappy personality.”
“Um… Thanks?”
“Don’t mention it.” I opened my arms. “You three have top-notch talent all gathered here in one room. What do you need Chris for?! You could be a force to be reckoned with!”
Wen jumped to her feet. “You’re right! I should design a Mech, one stronger than anyone’s ever seen.!”
“Yes!” I pumped a hand in the air.
“And I’ll fly it! I’ll terrorize the Hive until they go running back to their home planet!” Allie stood up as well.
“You’ve got it!”
Ilene joined in. “If I remember, Allie, you and I have a decent resonance match. How about we partner up?”
“Let’s do it!”
The girls high-fived each other while I watched approvingly.
“Let’s destroy the hIve!
“We’ll save humanity!”
‘...And then we’ll find Chris!”
I groaned.
They were so close… but I guess this is better than nothing.
The girls plotted the formation of a new team, surprisingly accepting the team name “Harem” (my suggestion). As they filed out, chattering excitedly, I prepared to escape this mentally exhausting group.
“Alaira, wait.” Princess Ilene stopped me before I could walk out the door.
“What is it?” I kept a neutral expression. I hadn’t been joking when I said I didn’t like her.
She hesitated. “Are you really marrying my brother?”
“Yes. Do you have a problem with that?”
“…No… it’s just…” She rubbed her face. “He’s… different. And I feel like you should know. “
Sitting back down, I crossed my legs and prepared to listen.
“Since he met you… William is a different person. He’s kinder… gentler… even goes by a different name. He’s never gone by Liam.”
That caught my attention “What was he like before?”
“Angry. Vicious. Hurt people just to watch them suffer.” Her face was blank, as if remembering things she didn’t want to. “He was so mad at the world for not allowing him to match, he spent all his time plotting to take down talented people who could.”
A villain. Was that who he was before Liam stepped in? Like how Alaira was before I took over? Or Chris before… whoever it was… took his body?
“I’m not pretending that I’m perfect, either. You’re right, I treated my brother like garbage, instead of trying to help him. I thought he was a monster. Honestly, I thought his hanging around you was some new scheme…. I was kind of hoping he would take you out so your couldn’t bother Chris…”
“So nice of you.” My tone was sarcastic
“At least I’m honest. Anyways, this doesn’t appear to be some trick… I think he’s changed… he actually seems to care about you. But I thought you should know who he was before he met you.”
“Thanks.” My tone was slightly better than before. “Don’t worry, I know exactly who I’m marrying.”
Liam. Not your villain brother.
“Good Luck.” Ilene seemed relieved, as if a burden was off of her shoulders with the confession, and hurried out.
I stood in the room alone silently for a few moments, processing.
There’s too many questions, and no answers in sight.
I left to find Liam. I missed him.
_______________________
I arrived just in time to see Liam and Alaira’s father facing off.
“She is my precious daughter.” The tall middle aged man with close cropped hair and a scowl made scarier by the scar running from his left eye to the corner of his mouth, towered over Liam. His disapproving air was evident.
“Yes.” Liam smiled and nodded, seemingly fearless.
“No man deserves to marry her.”
“Agreed.”
“So who do you think you are?” General Gladus poked Liam’s chest with a finger.
“The luckiest man alive to be able to stand in the same room as Alaira, much less stay by her side all my life.” He held out a plate in front of the angry man. “Cookies?”
“Well, you should know I don’t approve of this fast courtship…” He picked up one of the cookies and bit into it angrily. “You both are so young…” He took another bite. “And I don’t want you to hold her back…”
“I completely agree. I will do my best to support all her goals in life.” Liam handed the general another cookie as he finished the first.
“Good…” He chewed slower. “Is this chocolate? How did you get it so soft but chewy at the same time?”
“I developed the recipe. Would you like more?”
He picked up another one. “Just know this doesn’t mean I fully approve of you.”
“Of course not… Would you like some cake…”
“….”
“I also have homemade hot chocolate.”
“… As long as she likes you, I guess.” He finally muttered, his hands full of baked treats and dessert drinks.
Liam overwhelmed him with support spouse abilities. I laughed in the doorway, attracting the attention of both men.
“Anything for me?”
Liam nodded with a bright smile. “I saved you a plate.”
General Gladus cleared his throat as he saw the large platter filled with cookies.
“Don’t worry, Sir, I saved an extra plate for you.”
“… Don’t think you can bribe me.”
I raised an eyebrow. “So I can have your plate, then?”
“The hardened general clutched the plate of cookies to his chest. “Don’t you dare! The boy made them for me out of respect for his future father-in-law!”
“…” Liam and I smiled at each other.
“How is the front line… Dad?” The title felt a little rough as I spoke it. I was still acutely aware that he was Alaira’s father, not mine.
“Stable, for now.” He frowned. “Fortunately we have an elaborate defense system, to give plenty of warning. But they’ve been retreating more and more lately. The higher ups seem to think that they might be admitting defeat, but I just don’t think so. I think they’re preparing for something… big.”
He’s right.
I knew the ending of the original story. Around the time Alaira was supposed to graduate, they had attacked in the largest numbers ever seen, necessitating all senior students being recruited to help fight. Even Alaira, who was without a Connector and would have normally been left behind was brought in. They couldn’t afford to leave any powerful guardian out.
I still have a little more time, though. I can train with Liam, maybe get Wen to help upgrade our Mechs, train up some of the students… We can have a chance to really face off against the attack.
There’s still time…
“Don’t let down your guard. You’re the best general we’ve got.” I patted Alaira’s father on the shoulder.
He crushed me in a big hug. “Don’t worry, your dad will protect the galaxy! You just get married in peace.” He leaned in and whispered. “See if he can make a few more of those chocolate cookies, okay?”
“I will, Dad.” It came much more naturally this time.
I’ll protect you too. I added silently.
_______________________
As the wedding drew closer, we were notified that the king and queen were on their way. Liam ignored the news, continuing to work on seating charts and music for the ceremony.
“We have to welcome them when they arrive. They are due any minute.” I finally spoke up, slightly exasperated with his head-in-the-sand act.
“…If we have to.” His voice was cold, his dark blue eyes flickering between fear and annoyance.
I held his hand. “Don’t worry. No matter who they think you are, or what they say about you, just know that you’re my future husband. Don’t worry about anything else.”
He reached out, pulling me tightly against him. “ Thank you.”
“Just play along with them. I held his face between my hands. “You’re Liam. Not Prince William. Not their son. Not Ilene’s brother. Liam.”
WARNING. DIRECTLY CONTRADICTING STORYLINES IS FORBIDDEN.
Liam tilted his head and studied me with a worried expression. “… Are you okay?”
“Just follow my lead. Please.” I looked away from the bright blue words in annoyance and moved.
We went to meet the Royal Family, each of us nervous for different reasons.
The King and Queen looked slightly like Liam and Ilene. The king had curly dark hair, severe features, made worse by the frown as he studied Liam. The Queen had the dark blue eyes that both siblings had, and a beautiful, delicate face… but the overall sense was ruined by the terrified light in her eyes as she almost hid behind her husband.
“So this is the girl you tricked into marrying you?” The king looked at me with morbid curiosity.
Liam took a deep breath. “This is Alaira, Grade S Guardian, my resonance partner and my future wife…”
“What game are you playing, William?” His father snapped, interrupting him. “If this is some ploy to ruin General Gladus, you should stop now.”
“This isn’t…”
“You should stop this now.” The Queen squeaked out nervously at me from behind the King. “He might be my son, but you can’t trust him…”
“…”
“This wedding is a farce.” The king snapped finally. “He’s a monster.”
_______________________
“Why did you follow me?” the mournful voice called out as I entered the dark room.
“Do you want me to leave?” I looked up at the large dark blue eyes curiously, barely able to make out the large form in the darkness.
“I didn’t want you to see… didn’t want you to know…”
“Know what?”
“That I’m a monster.” The whisper was filled with so much pain it made me cry.
_______________________
BAM!
Before I fully came out of the memory, I had punched the King.
“…”
There was a moment of stunned silence from everyone present.
“You dare…!” The King finally spoke up, rubbing his red cheek with a furious expression. “I can have you executed!”
“Just try, Barry.” General Gladus walked in, his hand holding a drawn weapon. “I’ll shoot you in your precious Royal Ass, and then what are you going to lounge on while I fight your wars for you?”
"..."
"..."
"..."
The room processed his words in silence for a moment, before the king burst out angrily.
“Gladus, are you threatening me?!!”
“Oh shut up Barry. " He waved dismissively with his gun. "It wouldn’t even be the first time I’ve shot you. Probably won't be the last." You won’t arrest me, you need me to protect your country.”
“You are willing to let your precious daughter marry this… this… “ The king trailed off, glaring at Liam, who stared calmly back.
“Yes.” General Gladus shrugged “I heard the rumors. Even with the 100% match I wasn’t about to let him hurt my daughter.”
“Then why…?”
“I’ve sat down with your son, Barry. I shook his hand, looked him in the eye. I asked him the hard questions. I’ve observed him around Alaira.” The General stepped forward, placing a heavy hand on his shoulder. “I know a good man when I see one. And I see one. One who loves my daughter. Maybe you should try looking closer.”
“But he…”
“Plus he makes delicious cookies.” He muttered.
“…He what?”
I stepped forward, blocking Liam behind me. “He’s not a monster. He’s my future husband. I honestly do not care about your opinion. But if you want to try to hurt him, just know… you won’t have to wait for my father to shoot you. I’ll do it first.”
“… Control your child, Gladus.”
“She even threatens you just like me!” He reached out and placed an arm around my shoulders. “So proud.”
“…Fine. “ The King frowned “I won’t try to save you from yourself. Marry him, if you want.”
“I plan to.”
“Whatever you’re plotting, William, you better stop now.” He glared. “You might have fooled them, but you won’t fool me.”
“I don’t have to fool you.” Liam’s eyes were dark. “You mean nothing to me.”
“I’m your father.”
“I have no family. I… I can never have family.” Liam turned away.
“William…” The Queen called out softly.
“I AM NOT William.”
WARNING. World Destabilization detected!
“Come on, Liam. Let’s go.” I grabbed his hand and walked away, calling over my shoulder as we left. “You’re free to attend the wedding, but stay away from us otherwise.”
“You’ll regret this!”
I laughed at his bitter words. “Enjoy the disappointment.”
Liam and I left.
_______________________
We sat in my room, and as soon as my hand left his, he curled up, holding his arms over his head.
“I don’t feel right.”
“Liam.” I reached out and touched his back, feeling him trembling beneath me.
“Who am I? I don’t think I’m William. The things they said… the things William has done… He’s not me.”
Warning!
"He's not me... he can't be... He's not..."
WARNING! World destabilization... Bright blue words and a mechanical voice appeared again.
“SHUT UP!” I yelled, drowning out the voice. I pulled his arms down, looking straight into his dark blue eyes. “You are Liam. And you’re my partner. And tomorrow you’ll be my husband. Nothing else matters..”
“But…”
“I can’t explain things right now. I don’t even know everything right now. But I know there’s a reason we’re here together. I’ve found you, and I won’t leave you.”
He held me close, both of us kneeling on the floor. He was clutching me as if I was the only thing anchoring him. I felt lost myself. I was frustrated at my lack of answers, angry at the pain Liam was experiencing, afraid for the future ahead of us.
“Alaira… no… Bel?” He whispered. “... I love you.”
I smiled at the unfamiliar but familiar name, pressing my face against his shoulder. “I love you too, Liam.”
“Marry me tomorrow.”
“Definitely.”
“Don’t leave me behind… please.”
“I won't... No matter what.”
A long silence fell between us. Finally Liam sat back, his face slightly red. “I wish we were getting married tonight. I can’t help but feel something terrible is going to happen to prevent our wedding.”
Foreshadowing.
Ignoring the ominous word that appeared in my subconscious, I smiled reassuringly. “Nothing is going to happen…”
“ALERT! CODE LEVEL RED. PLEASE REPORT TO EMERGENCY STATIONS. ALERT!”
I sighed. “I take that back.”
We headed to the Command Level in the main Academy.
_______________________
“Dad, what’s going on?” I called out as we passed the main doors.
“Alaira…” General Gladus’ face was uncharacteristically serious. “It’s not good.”
I stood beside him, looking up at the large holographic display at the center of the command room, feeling the blood drain from my face. “The Hive.”
“They’re past our defense systems.” He slammed his fist against the table. “This doesn’t make any sense! How did an army this huge get past us without starting any alarms!”
I stared at the countless red dots on the screen, feeling lost.
This isn’t right. In the story I should have had YEARS before the Hive attacked in such large numbers. Even then they were caught immediately in the defense systems and gave the military time to prepare. How could they get past us… unless…
“Chris.”
He said he was going to end everything. Is this what he meant?
Alaira’s father was confused. “That male student who disappeared? How would he have access to defense system information?”
Chris wouldn’t… but whoever was controlling Chris might have more information.
I let it go for now. “What do we do?”
“There’s too many… and they’re headed for a defenseless planet in this system.” He hung his head. “I don’t have the manpower to defend it.”
I stepped forward, giving him a grim smile. “You’re not alone, Dad. I’ll help.”
“We! We’ll help.” Liam stood beside me. “We’re a powerful combo. You can’t afford to turn us down.”
General Gladus sighed. “Even if I recruit top senior students from the academy… the numbers we have… it’s a suicide mission.”
Warning! Mission Failure Imminent!
Your mission: Prevent destruction of the human race by the alien monster race known as The Hive.
The Hive are now attacking in large numbers. Your estimated chance of success against them in battle is 0%.
“If you’re not gonna say anything helpful, then shut up.” I growled quietly.
Liam turned towards me. “Are you okay?”
If you fail your mission, you will face soul destruction.
“It’s not like I’m swimming in options.”
You have one option.
“Who are you talking to?”
“What is it?” I whispered, holding Liam’s hand and squeezing it. I have to save him.
...
ACCEPT YOUR FATE.
...
I stared at the blue words silently for a few minutes. “Liam, what if I said we have an 100% chance of dying if we went on this mission…”
“You don’t know that…”
“...and I had a fool proof way to protect you… But we would be separated forever?”
I didn’t know what my fate was. But I did know in the deepest part of my soul one thing:
Liam was not my fate.
“I don’t plan to survive this, Liam… but if I could save you…”
“I would rather die by your side.” He didn’t hesitate.
“But…”
He grabbed my other hand, holding them both tightly. “We’ll face this together.”
_______________________
“It’s hopeless.” I whispered, holding him tightly. “What if fate is stronger than us?”
“I don’t need hope, Bel.” He leaned closer, his breath warm against my neck. “If fate is going to separate us, then we’ll destroy it.”
“Together.”
“Always.”
_______________________
I looked at the hologram, at the countless numbers of enemies that awaited us, and leaned against him with a sigh.
“Together.”
He smiled in return.
“Always.”

kth | the day after valentine’s (m.)
Words: 4.5k Synopsis: Taehyung, your best friend, had asked you to come over to help him arrange his furniture after moving for the hundredth time. It’s the day after Valentine’s and all the getting laid stuff is over, right? Not for Taehyung. Also, who the hell buys condoms after Valentine’s day? Rating: 18+ Author’s Note: This is a messy drabble that I have no intention cleaning or editing. I wrote this at liek 2am so a lot of typo’s ahead y’all.
When you agreed to come over Taehyung's apartment, you thought he needed help with arranging the stuff that came from his moving van today. But no, your best friend's not the most truthful person you know.
He spreads across his dirty old couch, one he'd kept from his college dorm, wearing nothing but his basketball shorts that holds tight against his waist. Seven years since meeting him, he's done nothing to change his lifestyle. Every month, it's the same old scenario of him moving to another place after getting evicted for God knows how many times, and you watching him play a mobile game while you beg him to please start unpacking before a landlord sends him on his ass again.
"Let me finish this level, I'm so close." He looks for a second to study your reaction, annoyance painted clearly on your face.
You shrug, and your eyes dart over the cigarette pack that almost hides in one of his Goodwill boxes.
"I though you quit?"
Confused, Taehyung follows your eyes and he regrets in an instant bringing you here.
"I haven't had one in two months. I'm stressed lately."
Sighing, you try to understand. Taehyung's been on and off with cigars, he'd buy one in secret but sooner or later, you'd always find a lighter in his laundry when coming over. You advice him to keep his hand busy, and you'd even given him a bracelet that chimes. He removed it three months later and you never asked where he threw it away.
"Fuck," his finger swipes his screen as if he wanted to break it, "I almost got it!" he yelled.
He switches off his phone, now staring back at you. Your eyes fall, he's always intimidating. You couldn't blame him, you were always intimidated.
"What?" you croaked.
"What do you mean what? What's your plan?"
"My plan? Why do I have to make the plans?" Your fingers find the hem of your thin baby blue shirt.
"Because you're the smarter one. How do I arrange all my shit? You got any idea?"
"Taehyung, we've been doing this for ages. How come you still depend on me? There will come a day that I won't be here anymore and the only person you could depend on is yourself." Was it seeing the cigarettes that raised your voice, or remembering that he threw your handmade bracelet? You couldn't care less.
He was quiet. Then he opens his mouth, and he's quiet again.
"You sound like my mom," he says, meaning to tease you as if he hadn't used that for the hundredth time. "Was your date last night that bad? I told you you should come with Hoseok and I on Valentine's, we had an amazing night at Jungkook's crib."
There he goes again, ignorant of your troubles. Classic selfish Tae, the exact same one who stood you up on homecoming because he spent it having sex with Tilly Janes in his car. You're still upset about it, he didn't even think of going inside to give you at least a minute to dance with somebody on the dance floor.
"Mind telling me what happened? Did you get laid?"
"Do you ever think of maybe you shouldn't ask such inappropriate questions to someone?"
"Fine," almost tired in his tone.
And you spend a few more minutes in silence, guessing each other's thoughts with the way both your gaze lands on the floor. He clears his throat and forgets what he's about to say. You wish you didn't cancel your nail appointment today just to be with your best friend who still, in no surprise, doesn't have a single plan in his life.
Taehyung suggests he buys a stock from the grocery first, and when he says stock he means an awful lot of Oreo cookies and Lays. You agreed with him and he gets dressed, though the soles of your feet still hurt from walking in heels for three hours straight last night. If only you knew that Hyungwon would be bringing you to a walking spree, you wouldn't have worn a formal attire.
Taehyung spends his time choosing between peanut butter and double stuff. You tell him to pick the peanut butter one because you've never seen him finish the double stuff, he always throws the leftovers saying it was too sweet. He ignores your opinion and chooses the double stuff over the peanut butter.
He asks you again whether he should buy milk or pineapple juice instead, and you tell him to pick milk because whoever drinks pineapple is a monster. He nods in affirmation, commenting about how pineapple has a really weird aftertaste. And he brings the milk back to the shelf, putting the pineapple juice in the cart.
"You should dress like that." He points at a mannequin dressed in sportswear.
"You don't tell me what to wear, young man. I don't even jog."
"I'm just saying you'd look hotter." He scans you head to toe and your knees weaken a little.
He takes a route to the meat section, you already know why. He just wants to brag about being a vegan. Jungkook had convinced him last month to finally turn vegan, and he's been talking about it non-stop.
"I can't stand the smell of meat anymore, it's disgusting." He pinches his nose, wrinkles forming on his face.
"Okay, Mr. Vegan. We get it." You rolled your eyes.
"No, really. It's making me vomit," he says, nasally.
"Just make sure that once I cook chicken alfredo, your mouth wouldn't water."
Upon reaching the counter, Taehyung approaches the magazines and candy bars, leaving you in line.
What does he need this time?
And when you're up next in line, he comes back with a tight fist, hiding an item as he crosses his arms.
He thought he was sleek, but when he throws the condoms next to the Oreos, you couldn't help but laugh.
"You're buying condoms after Valentine's Day?" You throw your hand to your mouth, suppressing an uncontrollable laughter. "Did you run out last night or you're only getting laid today?" you added.
"Do you ever think of maybe you shouldn't ask such inappropriate questions to someone?"
You sighed. "But seriously, I know you wanna answer that question."
In the mood, you poke at his waist and he flinches like a worm. Taehyung was cocky, but he can be cute sometimes in ways he doesn't intend to.
"I ran out last night. Lucky you who don't need to buy another one since none of your dates ever pass your standards."
You couldn't point it out in what he said that made your heart throb, it felt a little offensive. Taehyung knows so much about you, it can get scary when he opens his mouth. What's he thinking right now? Cute little y/n, no one's ever good enough for her fragile heart. Cute little y/n, always finds a mistake in every part.
"That's not true, you know? I just don't settle that easily."
The corners of his lips lift, eyes rolling in disbelief. He was skinning you alive with that gaze, annoyed. He has a sarcastic smile sprawled all over his face, you just wanna punch it away.
On the way home, you thought about what he said for a second... For a while. You thought about it for a while. Was Taehyung right? Was his perception of you correct? Whatever it was, it did hurt. All you ever did for Taehyung was to be a good friend, and he gave nothing in return. You weren't expecting anything, but deep inside you knew Taehyung loves you just as much as you love him. But like every other person, insecurity gets in the way in relationships.
Maybe Taehyung doesn't even treat you as a friend.
No, you argued inside your head.
Sure, you've seen him in his most vulnerable moments. You've seen him break and you've seen him fall, you've seen him lose the inner parts of his soul. You've seen Taehyung happy, and you will always remember that specific laugh he lets out whenever he pretends something is funny. You know that he blinks when he curses because his body rejects it. He told you about his broken dream of becoming an astrologist, and you daydreamed together about the stars and the way they collide like magical dusts.
Maybe Taehyung doesn't know you like you know him.
Before the thought gets answered, Taehyung was already groaning as he puts the bags down to his counter. You had forgotten you arrived.
"We should start with your room. I'll place your clothes in your closet and you go arrange your miscellaneous."
He doesn't nod. Why won't he nod? God, please, Taehyung, just agree with me once.
He remains standing with both his hands on either sides of his waist and he does nothing else. Still standing feet away from you, just knitted brows and a stern expression that you couldn't read. What is it this time?
"How was it?" His arms cross on the buff his chest, waiting for a response as he tries to read your reaction the same way you're reading where he's coming from.
"How was what?"
"The sex, y/n. Was it so bad you're in a bad mood today?" A laugh pauses in his throat, replaced by a rise of the corner of his lips.
It was a tug, or maybe a push, in your stomach that made your minds do wonders of spins. Such an unpredictable person Taehyung is.
There was nothing to deliberate inside your mind, nothing happened last night. Hyungwon went home without a kiss on his lips, and you're limbs gave out due to the amount of walking.
"There's no sex. We didn't have sex."
"Let me guess, he insulted your outfit? If not, he probably split the check." His index finger extends, eyes wrinkling to get out any more ideas from his dirty little head.
"Can you just- Ugh! What's with you and your insults?"
"How was that an insult? I was guessing which of what he did didn't pass your golden standard."
"If I had a better standard, maybe you wouldn't be my friend." Ouch. It wasn't directed to you but sometimes you just want to dissolve after saying something.
"I'm your friend because you have a high standard." He wasn't offended, not a single bit from what you have said. Was Taehyung that oblivious of how miserable he is? "If we weren't friends, I'm pretty sure I could get inside your pants."
You hoped he regret what he said, just as much as you wanted to dissipate earlier.
"I'm sorry, Taehyung. But my 'golden standard' would never, and I can't stress this enough, let you get in my pants, in an alternate universe where we aren't friends."
"Lies. Lies. Lies. I could easily get you swooning for me in just a matter of seconds, y/n. Stop, and I can't stress this enough, lying."
"Sure, Taehyung. Whatever you want me to fucking say." You turned your back on him to get a grip of yourself. You grunt, you shudder, and you sighed.
Cocky. Bastard. You could join those words together and it would still perfectly describe Taehyung. Perhaps you have a list of two words that could go either independently or together they'd still describe Taehyung well.
Arrogant. Pervert. Overconfident. Asshole. Striking. Idiot. Son. Of. A. Bitch. I. Just. Want. To. Punch. Him.
He places a grip on your arm to spin you to him. "I want you to say it," with a guttural voice coming from the pits of somewhere within his diaphragm, it's crazy how smooth it escaped from his lips.
"Saywhat?" as opposed to yours that escaped with so much tremble and crisp, thinner than air.
"Consent," he began. "I'm pretty sure I can reach your standard."
It was probably a bad idea. And a bad idea is followed by a spontaneous drive to try it, that's how it's done in movies. You'd probably regret it, right? But you'd regret it more if you don't get a chance to prove Taehyung wrong.
Fine. He needs a wake up call. He needs to wake up from that delusion he'd built inside his towering cocky arrogant head, no pun intended, that he's not every girl's cup of tea.
"You know what? Sure. What do you want me to do? Ride you? Then give you a blowjob after not finding the clit-"
He pulls you, hand reaching your lower back to push his groin toward your front. You were far behind than he was, Taehyung was already hard and eager. His lips were hot, warm around the tip of your tongue that vividly tastes the mint and smoke he had had earlier this morning. It was evident in the sloppiness of his kiss, swiftness of his wandering hands, and blazing fire underneath the lust of his eyes, Taehyung isn't exactly as what you have thought him to be.
The men you've slept with before, they were a floating fish in the sea. But Taehyung brings you sea deep into the weakness of your knees, the floor may have shaken 'cause you find yourself falling on his body and he catches you just perfectly, bodies molding with each other on the floor. Taehyung grips your thigh, to the north his hand traveled, his thumb harshly caressing your slit.
The position made it hard for him to move, he was struggling to reach every part of your body as he would have wanted so he pushed your body, and you look him in the eyes with question, both hands resting on his chest as he continues to play with your clit. He earns a sly grunt from you and he'd do anything to hear it again.
Then he was standing, carrying your body to the nearest stool he could find, desperate and quick. With one sharp thrust to lock you in position, he inhales the moan that went from your lips to his throat. Then he stops. He stopped.
"Moaning already, are we?" He lifts his brow, a crease forming on his forehead.
"Can you just get to it?"
He laughs. "That's not exactly how I always do it. I like to take my time."
You punch his shoulder, a questioning look taking over his features. Embarrassment flows through you. "This was a mistake."
He kisses you again, eating whatever insult was about to come out of your mouth. He wants to whisper it, that thing he have always wanted to tell you, in between kisses. Because now that he's got you under his touch, his tongue is burning just to say it. To distract himself, he digs into your waist deeper, sinking those three little words under your skin hoping you'd realize it.
You pull away, pushing him away from you. "Something wrong?" His nails have left their mark before you could figure out.
"No, no. Nothing's wrong."
There is though. You're not a stranger to not know the look on Taehyung's face. You recognize this one, it happened before. The trembling lips and crimson cheeks. They bring you back the day after prom, the day after Tilly Janes took his innocence.
"What happened last night?" you asked him, arms crossed against your chest.
"I'm so sorry I didn't come-"
"You came Tae. You came hard, didn't you? I can't believe you convinced me to go to prom just so you can leave me in there alone."
"I didn't want to. Listen, okay, I realized something last night."
"I don't need your apology, Taehyung. I don't need it. Jimin took me home last night."
"What? Why?"
"Why? Because some asshole left me without a ride. That's why!"
"I was looking for you last-"
"Shut it. He asked me on a date. So thank God, I'm at least in a good mood today to not flame on you."
"He asked you on a date? Are you going?"
Trembling lips and crimson cheeks. He gulped so hard you heard it.
"I am. Hey, are you okay?"
"I just can't believe someone would even ask you out. I'll be going, forget I came."
It's the same face, the same gulp. You put your hand on his cheek, like what a mom would do to an injured child, and he holds it so you won't ever let go of his face.
"We can stop. I know. This was a bad idea. We shouldn't have done it."
He shakes his head, his other hand creeping behind you. He latches his lips onto yours again, pulling your shirt up to reveal your stomach. The kiss was different, a touch of hunger for affection. A slow open one, mostly the breaths clashing in a soft whisper.
"I want you, y/n. I want you," he whispered to your mouth. You push him to the couch, straddling him and he groans in satisfaction. He pulls you closer, enough for his chin to land on your chest and he looks up in pure admiration of you.
There was more behind the words he said, but with the heat pooling in between your thighs, you couldn't care less as of now. It's something you'll resolve after. He tucks a strand of your hair as he makes thrusts underneath you, the thick cotton of his sweats didn't do anything to conceal his cock aching for you.
You remove his shirt, not being able to take your eyes away from his body. Sweet and honey under your gaze, he tenses them and you couldn't help but laugh at this. Kissing every inch of his exposed skin, you kneel as your knees approach the floor, not breaking eye contact with Taehyung while untying his sweats. His hand fails to fall steady on your arm and his Adam's apple bob in anticipation.
There's warmth that spreads across your stomach, different from the one in between you thighs. It's like electricity that continuously ignites a fire inside you when you notice his excitement, eager to have your mouth around him. A sign of reciprocation that he wants this just as much as you do no matter how hard you try to deny it, a catching fire of the thought that maybe he looks at you the way you look at him throughout all these years. Even now that you're not looking in his eyes, the continuous ignition of sparks inside you still teases.
You reach for his length, softly wrapping it in your hand and his breath quickens along with your heartbeat. Studying every detail, even the cold tones of the veins that spreads like tree roots. In usual occasions, giving head never takes your time. You suck it and finish it, no more and no less, nothing special really. But it's Taehyung, and his difference from others makes you uncomfortable in a way it shouldn't be possible. Trying to forget these unnecessary emotions, your thumb circles the head of his cock and he couldn't help but make his lip bleed, the agony of it keeping him awake to not fall into your dreamy touch.
His shorts reaches the floor and you made it quick to to kiss the base of his glistening length. Your index finger making lines on his thigh while the other keeps his cock steady as your lips move upward. You've never imagined how he would taste, but you were always sure he tastes exactly like he tastes now. Bittersweet. He throbs at the heat of your breath, thighs almost jumping when your fingers find his balls. He emits a groan that strengthens the force you're putting in your thighs to keep your core intact.
Down you go, the head of his cock deepening in your throat just like his grunts, getting lower and lower until he thrusts upwards making you gag and he releases a high-pitched whimper of your name. Tears blur your vision and a moan sends minimal vibration to his cock.
"I don't think... y/n, fuck, I'm not gonna last long," he confessed, and you finally look up to see him without removing him from your mouth.
You tongue swirling still and he has gone rabid trying to control himself, clenching your hair as he lets himself go maniac against your throat. He stares at you with mad eyes, his mouth failing in keeping him quiet. Only his groans, his throat-fucking, and your whimpers that you can no longer suppress. You're a little scared maybe he'll get too confident and tease you on your gagging, calling himself so big he made you cry.
He pulls your hair and he tries to get a hold of himself, catching his breath to gain stability. Before you can wipe the corners of your lips, he was standing up and taking your shirt off. He frames his chin with his index finger and his thumb, making you grow conscious of your own body. He had no reason to be looking so long, he'd seen you in a two piece more than one occasion. And he's going behind you, putting a finger at the waist of your shorts, bringing it down slowly until it lands by itself. He wraps your hair in a pony as the other grips your ass, a throaty growl escaping from his body.
He rotates you to the other side, an empty blank wall where you can see the fool you made of yourself. The argument ends here. The argument has ended since he had kissed you like no one had kissed you. You shouldn't have underestimated Taehyung, because he's now biting your shoulder as he slowly descends you to the wall. He hums, this close he can hear the tiny whimpers you try to keep to yourself, your fragile voice that can break once you open your mouth to say something. He can hear them all and he's aware of the power he has over you.
A hand holds both of yours behind your back, and once he has successfully taken your white underwear off, he's positioning the fat head of his cock right in your entrance.
"Make it easier for the both of us and just say it, y/n," he commands, his breath echoing in your ear sending voltage in your spine. He bites your ear and he whispers again, "Baby, please."
"What?"
Taehyung laughs at your adorable cluelessness. He doesn't answer. The next thing you hear was the expansion of his breaths, getting heavier and heavier it's almost a hum as he slides himself inside you.
"Taehyung," you say in a falsetto, "god, Tae, fuck!"
"Hmm, fucking tight. You're so fucking tight, y/n. Your pussy's taking my cock so fucking well," his knees bend to enter you deeply, this sharp thrust hitting a spot in you you never knew you'd feel, "maybe now you'd let me fuck you often, huh? You're gonna take my cock anytime you want, I'll fuck your brains out, ruin you and your cunt."
You respond with a soft murmur of you're not entirely sure what, because Taehyung was already fucking your brains out and you had no other thoughts but the feeling of his cock that slips in out of you so easily. He'd hit that one spot and you're going to release yet another cry and he'd enjoy every note of it. You're a mess with strands of your hair sticking to your face as the sweat trickle down your temples.
"Tell me what you want, y/n. Want it fast, baby?" He speeds up his thrusts, your ah's getting louder as he almost sends you to your high. "Or you want to cherish every inch of my cock?" He slows down which brings you wailing, whimpering his name over and over until you're no longer sure if it's even coming out right. His free hand lands on your ass and you gasp as if inhaling after suffocation. "Answer me," he speeds up his pace again, "answer me, y/n."
But you couldn't, there's nothing in your body that you trust right now especially your voice. He growls, unsatisfied with your silence which leads him to pulling your hair and pushing your back to the wall. You're almost embarrassed to see his eyes once more in the state you're in, overpowered by the despair of wanting nothing but to have Taehyung take you to your climax. Your eyes are begging for him, hell there were tears coming from them as he enters you again.
He cries out, "I want to fuck you all day long, would you let me do that?" He continues to carry you upward the wall and your weight would go down whenever he pulls himself from you. You nod and as he sees this, his head moves back to watch your body crumble before him, giving him no more than satisfaction. "Look at you desperate for my cock, such a fucking whore for me, aren't ya?"
In every "hm" he makes, he enters you harder and rougher, makes you want to stay silent. You bite your lip, feeling yourself come to a close. Your thighs pulling together like magnets, wrapping his waist while it shakes and he doesn't take one second to land your body on the couch, watching your orgasm hit you with spasms traveling your whole body. Taehyung wraps his cock in his hand, moving toward your mouth as he jerks himself off to his own orgasm. You take the spurts of his fluid landing on your tongue, his waist twitching while he groans for each drop of cum.
He sighs, falling onto the couch where your legs are still apart. He smiles at your nakedness, not giving a second thought as his middle finger enters you once more. Your body sits straight, only to land on the sofa's arm. "You're so fucking pretty," he commented, his body hovering over yours again. He kisses you.
"I can't handle," you say before Taehyung cuts you off with another kiss, and another, and another, his finger in and out of you which as the minute grows only turns from pain into pleasure again.
"You're going to," he whispers and he kisses you again, until you're crying his name and he just studies the way you react to his slender finger. "So pretty, so, so," he curves his finger resulting to your second orgasm, "pretty." He makes sure you see his savoring your juices in his mouth, and once he was done lapping up his finger he puts them inside your lips, tasting nothing but his saliva.
"Do you get it now, y/n?" He unclasps your bra, and from then on he ignores your eyes. "This is why I run out of condoms."

love me, hate me - part two
Warnings: explicit sexual content, swearing
Word count: 3.3k
Summary: Christmas comes around and Ransom wants you more than ever.
part one
"You're telling me you actually want to date this guy? The one who can't even make you cum?" you asked, licking the remaining frosting from your finger. You placed the messy bowl in the sink, watching your best friend trying—and failing—to get the egg shells out of the mixture.
Meg gave up, dumping the brownie batter down the sink with the water running, fed up with the shells. "Yeah, but sex isn't everything, you know. I don't know—it's just this guy isn't like my exes. He genuinely cares about my feelings, and doesn't control me. Besides, he made me cum a few times. He's nice."
With Mariah Carey's Christmas music playing in the background, the miniature Christmas tree on the table, and the snow falling, the Thrombey household felt festive. Although, the people bundled up and arguing in the next room—not so much. Yet, neither of you cared while you continued to work, helping Martha out, on the desserts. It wasn't going as well as planned, but you took it as a positive considering you hadn't started a fire. Yet.
"Ah, yes, nice. Can't relate. I'm currently attracted to assholes who have anger issues." you commented, passing Meg the flour once again. Your creation was in the oven, and all you hoped was that no one got food poisoning because of it. Even you couldn't live with the guilt of Ransom, or his touchy father, throwing up Christmas morning.
"Currently?" Meg asked, raising an eyebrow, getting eggs out of the fridge for the hundredth time. She glanced at the direction of the door, the sound of it opening drawing both of your attention. "I'm pretty sure your daddy issues didn't just happen recently. Speaking of which, you may be the main reason Ransom decided to come back for Christmas instead chasing a model around."
You rolled your eyes, sitting back in your chair while contemplating whether or not it's too late to ditch. While Ransom was hot, his spoiled attitude wasn't worth tolerating for a quick fuck. With sarcasm dripping, you sighed. "Oh, how wonderful. 'Cause, that's exactly what I need right now."
Meg chuckled, focusing on the task at hand, trying not get shells in the mixture again. She had held off on mixing the dry stuff, much to your dismay, but to her it made sense to get the hard part out of the way so it wouldn't fuck everything up. Your best friend had just finished cracking her last egg when Harlan walked into the kitchen, Ransom trailing a few feet behind him. The playboy's eyes immediately landed on you, yet you didn't meet his, too preoccupied with the phone in your hands.
Harlan's slight frown lifted into a smile, surveying how messy the kitchen had gotten. "My, my, I wasn't aware a cake had exploded in my kitchen."
Looking up, you grinned at the old man, the smile reaching your eyes until you saw who was behind him. Ignoring Ransom, you giggled at Harlan's remark. "You call it a mess, we call it baking."
"As long as you ladies are having fun." Harlan replied, patting your shoulder before heading off towards his office, too tired to deal with his dysfunctional family at the moment.
Ransom lingered, walking up to you, a smirk impended on his face. Yet, you refocused you're attention back on your phone while Meg left the room, her apron still attached to her. You didn't question her sudden disappearance, knowing she was just as annoyed at Ransom's presence. The man in question peeked over you shoulder to see your screen showing off another man's dick, the words right below it explicit.
His jaw clenched in jealousy. Much to his chagrin, the man's dick was just as big as his own. But, he kept the icy exterior up. "Would it be offensive to ask whether or not your baking will make me sick this evening?"
You scoffed without looking up, tapping out of the dick pic your previous hook up had sent. "Since when do you care if you're offensive or not? Who are you, and what have you done to Ransom Drysdale?"
Ransom shrugged, leaning against the kitchen island while facing your annoyed expression. His smug behavior got under your skin, and the bastard was well aware. "Maybe all this Christmas spirit got into me. Or maybe I'm trying to be nice."
You raised an eyebrow, getting off your chair, rushing to the window, pretending to be looking for something. After a few seconds, Ransom's curiosity got the best of him and he joined you, looking for anything unusual outside. The snow-covered land showed nothing out of the ordinary, furthering Ransom's confusion.
"What are you looking at? I can't see anything." he said, squinting at the general direction you had look at.
Shrugging, you moved back to your seat, propping your elbows on the back of the chair, allowing a smug smirk lift your lips. "I thought pigs were flying. Ransom Drysdale isn't capable of being nice, yet alone say the word. I'm shocked hell hadn't freeze over. Yet."
The playboy rolled his eyes, crossing his arms as he took your body in, wrapped in his favorite color, the dress hugging your curves. "What's a guy have to do to be taken seriously with you? You and I both know I can give you everything you want, and more."
"Are you trying to buy me right now?" you asked, half teasing, half annoyed. Ransom could not take a hint, and you hated the fact that he didn't back off despite the sarcasm and insults you threw his way.
"I'm trying to be nice but you're making it really hard." Ransom answered, his cockiness wearing off. He was growing frustrated the more you looked at him like he was a piece of trash. All you wanted him to be was nice, now that he was trying to be, you wouldn't believe his intentions, despite wanting to prove it to you.
Pursing your lips, you tapped your finger against the table, the acrylic nail making a clicking noise. "You wanna prove it? Fine. You've got til midnight tonight. If you're unable to change my mind, you have to buy me my spring break vacation, all the fees and expenses."
"And if I do change your mind..." Ransom smirked, brushing a stray hair behind your ear, earning a half-hearted glare. "... you have to go on a date with me."
Ransom nearly burst out laughing from your shocked expression, the genuine look of surprised slapped on your face with the words. You shut your hanging jaw, still not processing what he was saying. "Excuse me?"
"You have to go on a date with me if I convince you that I'm willing to change my, and I quote, 'bratty and douchebag ways.' An actual date where we sit down, eat dinner, talk about our feelings, and get drunk. Whatever happens, happens." Ransom purred, placing a finger on your bottom lip. You slapped his hand away, and his smirked grew. "Are you going to back out of this already, princess?"
It was your stubborn side that made agree, pressing your lips into a thin line, you grabbed Ransom's hand, shaking it. He raised an eyebrow while you sighed. "You're on. Hope you have enough money to pay for a lengthy trip. I plan on drinking every bottle of wine in Italy."
Despite your baking debacle, you left the kitchen, leaving Meg's monstrous creation on the counter along with Ransom. You went into the living room, trying to find the girl in question when you happened to stumble upon Richard. He barely got to say a word before you turned around, and left the pervert behind. It was always a puzzle how Ransom turned out so hot with Richard and Linda as parents.
Climbing the stairs, you heard the family arguing growing quieter with each step. The second floor was almost a safe haven considering Harlan didn't let anyone raise their voice in the upper level, making it the only quiet place in the house, safe from any Thrombey fights. It was a wonder how the family hadn't murdered each other yet; it was only a matter of time.
Unable to find Meg in your shared room, you sighed, patting your body to find your phone only to realize you left it in the kitchen. With Ransom.
"Looking for this?" Ransom held out your phone, coming up behind you. His usual smirk was gone, a small, genuine smile in its place. It made him look less arrogant.
Speak of the devil and he shall appear.
You took your phone back, half expecting him to take it back just as you wrapped your fingers around it. But he didn't. You realized he was pulling out all the stops, all the little things that you found annoying was gone. He was acting. Eyes narrowing, you unlocked your phone, studying him. "Thanks. I think."
"Meg is helping the Brazilian maid." Ransom answered your silent question. Your thumb hovered her contact, going back to the home screen. Your eyebrows had risen by his mis-categorization of Martha's race and employment. "Pretty sure they went to the grocery store or something."
"Oh, okay." you replied lamely, putting your phone in your back pocket, the tight jeans making it nearly impossible. Opening the door to your room, you stepped in, not giving Ransom another look. But he followed inside, making you turn around. "Do you need something?"
Ransom stuffed his hands in his pockets, the cream-colored sweater shifting with the gesture. "You didn't exactly give me much time to prove myself. And looking around, we're all alone. I can't think of a better time."
As much as you hated to admit it, he had a point. The bet was a bit unfair considering how stubborn you were, and the amount of time he had to convince you. But it was a bit unsettling seeing Ransom try so hard, let alone being nice. You nodded, agreeing. "Fine, but can I change first? I'd rather not be covered in flour while you try to seduce me."
"You and I both know I wouldn't seduce you before dinner. There's no way in hell I'd treat you like the others." he mumbled to himself, but you heard it. Clearing his throat, he stepped out of the room. "Yeah, I'll be outside. Waiting. Take your time."
As soon as the door closed, you looked around the room to check if you were being pranked, expecting Ashton Kutcher to burst out of the closet along with a bunch of cameramen. After a few seconds, you came to the conclusion that Supernatural was in this universe, deciding "Ransom" was a shapeshifter or a demon possessed him. It was the only reasonable explanation.
Reaching for the hem of your top, pulling it off in one swift move, dropping it on the bed. Your jeans piling on top, allowing your legs to breathe. Despite Joni's hippie side, she had let Meg sneak in a few joints, the smell becoming stronger as you neared both your suitcases. You didn't think Harlan would be too please to have weed in his house, no matter how lenient he is.
You took your time, a little baffled by what to wear. Ransom hadn't exactly given you an agenda on his plans, leaving you to grab a clean pair of black jeans, and a classy, yet simple, red top. You looked decent enough to fit in a nice restaurant, but casual in case Ransom decided he wanted McDonald's, and most importantly: warm. If he wanted to take you to the North Pole, then he'd have to give you his cozy-looking sweater.
You opened the door, the sight of Ransom rocking on his heels greeting you. His back was to you, his hands inside his pockets as he looked out the window, frost crawling along the edges. It genuinely concerned you how much this man was acting; if you didn't know better, you'd think it was real.
Clearing your throat, you watched him jump in surprise, quickly turning to you. Raising an eyebrow, you tucked your phone in your pocket, meeting his warm, blue eyes. "I'm ready."
"Okay." said Ransom, motioning for you to follow him. You walked down the stairs without a word, the air becoming thick as you walked behind him. The sweater did little to no good disguising his broad shoulders, the muscles somehow still visible under the clothing.
As soon as you reached the bottom, you glanced around, the Thrombey fighting becoming louder with each second. It wouldn't be long before one of them stormed out of the room, muttering a curse under their breath. You'd seen all of them do it at least once. You crossed your arms, wary of whatever Ransom was planning. "Be honest, you're not just going to drive me off to the middle of the woods and murder me, are you?"
Ransom chuckled, giving you a wink as he held his hand out. Without hesitation, you took it. "If I was planning to murder you, I wouldn't do it in the woods. If you're going to die, it's going to be epic."
"Oh, well, that makes me feel better." you sneered sarcastically, instantly rolling your eyes. In the back of your mind, you pondered how long it would take for your eyes to get stuck in your brain with the amount of times you rolled them at Ransom.
He led you towards the door, smirking. "You ready?"
"No. Let's go."
—
"Fuck, baby."
He spent a few moments just staring at your spread pussy, amazed and aching for you more than he ever ached for anything.
"Don't you know why I want you to see it, Ransom?"
Ransom just shook his head without taking his eyes off the your pneumatic body.
"Because it's yours," you sighed. "All yours, baby. You're the one I've been keeping it nice and fresh for."
"Fuck," he muttered.
He kept staring at you, waiting for you to rub you pussy again, but you didn't. You just kept holding it spread.
"Don't you wanna taste me, Ransom?" you purred, barely above a whisper. "C'mon, baby, please. I want you to lick it so bad. I love you so much and I want to give you everything that belongs to you."
The playboy was all but paralyzed by your words. He finally dragged his eyes off your open pussy and looked at your face. You were staring back at him with a glazed look in your eyes. His solid cock was pulsing hard in the tight grip of his fist. No girl had ever looked at him the way you were at that very moment, yet at the same time, he knew you were playing with the hottest kind of fire there was.
"Sweetheart, you know this wasn't the deal." he whispered, distracted.
You smirked. "But you still won."
He finished the thought by leaning down and sliding his tongue up and over your generously offered pussy. You pulled in a sharp gasp when Ransom's tongue lit up your heavily tingling pussy. Your hips rolled instantly in response, your gasps turning to moans while Ransom eagerly slathered his tongue all around your creamily delicious slit. He soon focused his attention on your clit and slipped a finger up inside your hole at the same time.
The man's finger curled and twisted inside you, searching for you g spot while he suckled and lapped at your fully swollen clit. You could barely form words as you gasped and moaned, your luscious body now writhing with desire.
Your pussy oozed heavily the more he licked and fingered you. Your cream was sweet, tangy and intensely intoxicating. Ransom probed at your hole with his finger and the tip of his tongue at the same time, but he soon drew his soaking wet finger out of your hole and wedged it between your ass cheeks, searching for your puckered rimhole.
You gasped deeply and lifted your legs up higher, giving Ransom better access to your asshole. He massaged your tight bud with his honey-coated finger and made deep, hungry love to your pussy with his mouth.
"God god god god, Ransom!" you cried, your hips rolling harder and harder against the man's mouth and finger.
Your body went tense for a few moments and then relaxed. Ransom backed off and watched you languish after your orgasm, pausing briefly to catch your breath. Then you shifted your body and took the hem of your outfit into your hands and peeled it off over your head. Ransom pulled off his T shirt and slid over on top of your luscious body, grinding his rock-hard cock against your pussy as he lowered himself to kiss you.
You whimpered while Ransom's chest mashed down against your heavy, naked tits. They felt amazing against his body, and he was beyond reason when the your mouth opened and set your tongue into motion against his.
Ransom had never kissed any girl so hard or hungrily in his life. Nor had any kissed him back the way you had. At the same time, you were grinding your slick, wet pussy against his cock as hard as he was grinding against you. Then he squeezed his hands in between them and grasped at your tits, kneading them eagerly with his strong hands.
He released your mouth and said," Baby girl, reach down there and put my cock inside you for me. I need that pussy bad, but I can't bring myself to let go of these fantastic tits now that I finally have my hands on them."
You giggled happily and kissed him again while you worked your hands down between your naked bodies. Finally, you got one hand on your pussy and spreading yourself open while you wrapped the other around Ransom's thick cock.
"Oh geezus, fuck, Ransom, you're so fucking hard," you cooed. "Oh god fuck me deep."
You tucked Ransom's cock head into your wet maw and he began grinding his shaft deeper into your sheath. Your pussy felt so tight and creamy, and you both groaned as his rock-hard flesh gradually filled your body. You looked at each other in disbelief, even though nothing had ever felt more right or natural.
Ransom growled as he began to pump his cock in and out of your spectacular body with long strokes. His grip on your tits went tighter and he lowered his head to suck and lick on your swollen nipples.
You whimpered with pleasure, wrapping your legs around his hips and grinding your pussy hard against his thrusting cock. It wasn't long before he was straining to hold on and keep fucking you deep and hard. You didn't make it any easier because of the way you were moaning and your cunt squeezed his pounding cock every time you came.
Finally, Ransom raised himself up on his hands while he pumped your succulent pussy hole as hard and fast as he could, watching your pretty face twist with pleasure while your tits heaved with the force of his lunging body.
"Gimme your cum, baby. I want it in me...fuck!"
With a final, frenzied volley of full body thrusts, Ransom's pulsing cock exploded in your pussy, filling you with a hot flow of jetting spunk.
After, they spent a long time kissing while Ransom caressed the your beautiful tits. He kept his cock buried inside you until his flesh finally started to relax.
You fell asleep in each other's arms, and Ransom knew he had the girl he always needed right there with him. He had been right, all the sarcastic comments and stupid fights had been worth it.
In the morning, Ransom awoke from a haze of dreams to look down and find you lying between his legs with your lips sliding up and down his swollen cock. When you realized he was awake and watching you, you released his big cock from your mouth, giving his shaft a long lick before greeting him.
"Merry Christmas, Ransom."

Sesskagu Week Day 2: Green (Apart)
Idea came from @dearestpartnerofgreatness
"I was wonderin' when you'd get here." Sliding both hands behind his head, Inuyasha looked his half-brother up and down with more than a little smugness. "Took a week to finally admit to yourself that you were wrong, stupid?"
"I was not wrong," Sesshomaru growled, despite the tinge of relief that the hanyou's statement proved that he'd successfully hunted Kagura down. That he'd spotted his brother sleeping on a curved branch of a tree outside heart of the village was both a detriment (in that he had to listen to him talk) and a blessing (he had no interest in walking around the village looking like a fool while she danced around avoiding him). "She overreacted."
A single dog ear twitched in amusement. "Great apology. Should go over well."
"I would think," Sesshomaru retorted, voice lowering as a group of villagers reached the top of the hill and promptly about-faced upon seeing him, "you would welcome the opportunity to remove her from your home, so that you may have peace once again."
Inuyasha's mouth opened comically wide before snapping shut. "Humph. Fine."
Stretching until several bones in his back cracked, he leapt down from the tree and bounded off. Sesshomaru turned his back to the tree, trying to appear unflappable as possible.
He hadn't been wrong, no matter how much the wind sorceress fussed. If anything, she had taken advantage of his generosity. Had he not lost months of sleep, seeking a way to stuff her soul back in an unmastered body, with an unmastered heart at her disposal? Had he not then allowed her to join his party on their travels despite the constant arguing between herself and Jaken and how his mood suffered because of it?
She had repaid him by deciding, for no reason at all, to start collecting. Nothing of importance; naturally, the bits and bobbles that drew Kagura's interest were as useless as they were commonplace. Withering leaves, sharp stones in muddied colors, feathers and scales and scraps of cloth or petrified wood, all constantly underfoot.
It was childish. It was pointless. And so, after the hundredth time something small and irksome found itself under his foot, Sesshomaru had tossed the whole pile away.
Which was how he'd been left with a blow to his chest that took a full day to heal, while Kagura ran off to invade Inuyasha's stupid little house in the stupid little village. The fact she'd rather be surrounded by humans than be around him was taken with the full force of insult she'd meant it to be. By now she'd probably convinced Kohaku and Rin to take her side…
At least he had Jaken's understanding.
He should not even be rewarding such a tantrum, by marching here to collect her. But…despite the headaches that her presence occasionally brought, her absence had endeared him to certain feelings. Those that, perhaps, could be analogized to how Kagura herself might have felt, back in the days where her much-wanted heart had been miles away.
Not that he could ever bring himself to say something like that out loud. Even to her, who had managed to wring quite a few utterances out of him that even Rin would have had trouble believing had come from Sesshomaru's own tongue.
There had to be a line somewhere.
(Perhaps time would wear it down, eventually, but unless she came home, the situation was moot.)
Annoyance stung the space behind his teeth as Inuyasha returned, no wind witch in tow. From the grumpy expression on the hanyou's face, he wasn't too thrilled about it either.
"She says she ain't interested in talkin' to ya." Folding both arms over his chest, Inuyasha glared in Sesshomaru's direction. "But you're right, she's overstayed her welcome. So start thinkin' how you're going to convince her to leave."
Sesshomaru bristled; demonic energy flooded his veins. "I do not take orders from- "
"Cut it out, you stopped being scary when you let Kagome start callin' ya Big Brother." The last few words were said in a high-pitched mimicry of the priestess, though it was quickly followed by the classically-ridiculous smile that Inuyasha always got when he mentioned his wife. "If it helps, I think she's just being difficult. She stopped thinkin' up creative ways to kill you a few days ago; the rest of the time, she's just been moping around. One gritted-teeth apology'll probably work."
That most certainly did not help, because as soon as they were in the same room again Sesshomaru was sure the reason for her ire would no doubt return in full force.
Inuyasha's brow dropped. "You seriously not gonna do it?"
"Would you?" Sesshomaru retorted icily, before he could stop himself.
"I," Inuyasha said, with the slow relish of someone who had been waiting for this exact question, "would've never thrown out her stuff in the first place."
Tenseiga and Bakusaiga's commentary was, while amusing, not particularly useful. Beating his brother to a pulp for being a know-it-all would do nothing but earn the ire of his sister-in-law. Which Sesshomaru did not need today.
"What's the problem with having stuff, anyway," Inuyasha continued, scratching behind one ear as though this was a casual family visit. "Other than the fan and feathers, it's not like she got to keep any shit around before. From what Kohaku said, Naraku didn't like for any of 'em to go exploring much, either. She's got the time and you've got the space, so it's a stupid thing to fight about."
As much as he did not want to admit it (and one could imagine just how much that was), that was a fair point. As was his belief that she could have chosen a more interesting and less obnoxious form of self-expression.
"You know, she mentioned somethin' a few times when she was cursing you…" Trying to keep his tone even was difficult, but the thought of Kagura going home helped. Even though this particular statement felt kinda unfair, even against someone like Sesshomaru. "How you didn't lift a finger to save her life, and now you won't even let her enjoy it, or…?"
Sitting with his feet propped on the windowsill, Jaken hummed a happy tune. It had been over a week without the annoying witch around, and he felt in much better spirits with her gone! No more sudden bursts of wind to knock him over in the corridors, or piles of random garbage from who-knew-where cluttering up the place. And there was still at least two weeks before Rin and Kohaku came for their annual summer visit and disturbed his peace.
Granted, Lord Sesshomaru's mood had been…sour since she'd gone, to the point that he'd left the castle in a huff the day before. But that was not a problem for Jaken; if anything, it hopefully meant that soon they'd be back to the old days of 24/7-wandering, offering challenges to whatever foolish yokai crossed their path! Not that having time to rest in the castle wasn't nice, but he certainly missed the days before Lord Sesshomaru had settled down, so-to-speak, and regulated his travels to the fall and spring seasons.
Suddenly, a powerful aura electrified the air, sending a chill zipping up through his legs. Leaning towards the window, he scanned the landscape with excitement. That must be Lord Sesshomaru! Perhaps he had returned with a task, a quest, just like the days before his Lord's heart had turned -
Oh no. Oh no.
Because yes, indeed, there was his esteemed Lord touching down in the front courtyard. But unfortunately, right at his side, with a smile he could see from here, was that annoying sorceress. As he watched, Sesshomaru brushed a hand against her arm with such uncharacteristic softness that it made the kappa feel ill.
Kagura said something (probably wicked, from the way her scarlet eyes glinted in the sunlight) and then twisted to unload something off her back. To Jaken's horror, she was carrying a knapsack. The same one she used to collect her stupid little trinkets all the time.
And it looked heavy.

Essays in Existentialism: Christmas Day 34
previously on Christmas
Polo Xmas prompt: Lexa gets auctioned off as a date for charity to support a good cause. Clarke gets jealous and tries to bid on her but loses. Thanks!
“You’re late!”
“Not that late,” Clarke furrowed as she adjusted her dress slightly.
“Fashionably late,” Lexa offered after checking her watch. “Hardly noticeable.”
The annual Christmas Charity Gala illuminated the museum. The carpet was hidden beneath the white tents, protecting the visitors from the dazzling flurry of perfectly timed snow. Lights hung from every available eave, while brilliant Christmas trees glowed throughout the exhibits. The main hall was a sea of black ties and festive gowns, of fancy hair and cologne, of happy couples and wishes of merriment.
Immediately set upon by Raven as they walked past the cameras and coat check, there hadn’t been even a second to really take in the winter magic that existed for the benefit Marcus began with Abby’s help. It was the social event of the season, and Lexa considered her boss to have outdone himself more so than ever before, and she’d been to quite a few Kane parties in her time with him. Tables here were going for no less than $50,000. He was ready to set records, even in philanthropy.
As Clarke finished fidgeting, she met her friend’s eye. Lexa’s hand remained on her back and she felt the flush of the warmth of the building finally hit her cheeks. Nothing was noticeably out of place. She was reasonably put together.
“Seriously?” Raven groaned, shaking her head at the couple. “The limo?”
“What? No… what do you mean?”
Stoic and unbothered, Lexa squeezed Clarke’s arm subtly, tucking her other hand into her pocket. Raven was completely right, and she was almost slightly proud of the fact that it was almost apparent on her girlfriend’s face as to why they were late. She got a smug grin and surveyed the rest of the party.
“I’ll let Marcus know you’re here,” Raven rolled her eyes as she turned to walk away, only to pause and give them another look before departing.
For a moment, Clarke stood there and looked over her dress before looking over her girlfriend’s completely unrumpled tux and tie and hair.
“How did she know?”
“You tend to have a glow about you.”
“I do not,”Clarke disagreed. She found a reflective surface and checked her make up while Lexa found them glasses of champagne, snagged from a quickly moving waiter’s tray. “If anyone should have a glow it’s you,” she accused. “I’m damn good in a limo and you’re lucky to have me.”
“Oh, I know, princesa.”
“There’s no way she could know though. Not for certain.”
“She knows.”
“Shut up.”
With a calming gulp, Clarke held her glass and for the first time since arriving, surveyed the party as they walked through toward the main area in hopes of finding familiar faces.
“You weren’t saying that twenty minutes ago,” Lexa reminded her. “I believe your exact words were something about my outfit.”
There was a blush near her collar bones at the recent memory, but Clarke didn’t break this time, instead taking another sip of her drink.
“Do you like my dress?”
Lexa looked it over again, for well about the hundredth time and remained completely in love with how her girlfriend looked in it. She nodded as she took a drink herself.
“You know I think you look amazing in it.”
“Good. Then forget what just happened in the limo.”
“I could never.”
“It’s the smugness. It’s unattractive.”
“Is it though?” Lexa grinned.
They stood close as they found their table, pausing before Lexa pulled out the chair to offer to her girlfriend. She kissed Clarke’s cheek before taking her own seat as well, happy to be near her, happy to be at an even like this for the first time ever in her life. There’d been many times she’d been on the arm of someone, but never had she been so happy to have Clarke on her’s.
“You might want to hide that smugness, there, tiger,” Clarke offered, looking over her shoulder at the familiar form approaching.
“I don’t know if it’s possible. You do remember what I did to you in the--”
“Dad! Hey!”
Clarke rolled her eyes to see that the smugness didn’t leave Lexa, though she did stop talking, which was important. It was the season of giving, and Clarke was proud, too proud often, and she was not great at accepting, except with it came to Lexa. With Lexa, she took everything.
Lexa stood as quickly as she sat, careful to button her coat before grabbing Clarke’s chair for her to hug her father. She did everything in her power to stop thinking about the limo.
“Looks like this is the family table. Your mother was kind enough to put us all together after taking my very large check. How are you, Lexa?”
“Doing well, sir. Nice to see you.”
Gripping his hand, Lexa met his eyes and nodded. He smiled kindly, and he had Clarke’s eyes. It was disarming in a way.
“You look great, honey,” he kissed his daughter’s cheek. Once more, Lexa pulled out the chair.
“You clean up alright, too. Is Mom auctioning you, too?”
“She is, and here I thought the divorce was enough to get rid of me.”
Despite herself, Lexa smiled into her glass as the patriarch of one of the largest companies on the planet signaled for a drink as well. Clarke sighed audibly at her father’s jab.
“Clarke’s annoyed that I was volunteered,” Lexa offered, earning a nudge from an elbow.
“She never did share well,” he shrugged, chuckling at his daughter’s misfortune.
“There’s only one limo I plan on going home in tonight,” the polo player promised.
“Maybe you both will find true love tonight as you’re sold like slabs of meat on the auction block. I don’t understand why they can’t just do a silent auction.”
“Oh, she is a bit jealous, isn’t she?” Jake observed.
“I was just hoping to get her to take me to lunch more.”
“Are you going to bid on your girlfriend?”
“No. I get her for free. I’m not going to spend your money.”
“You can bid on your old man, if you want,” Jake explained. “I’d hate to get stuck at some lunch with some mad woman or man, plus it’d be nice to catch up.”
“You’re really not going to bid on me?” Lexa furrowed.
“You signed up to go on a date with a stranger, and so I’m going to oblige.”
“That’s not what I--”
“Okay, you two, let’s go,” Raven appeared, slightly out of breath. “Abby is running me ragged looking for the talent.”
“Now you’re making me sound like a pornstar.”
“If you go for a high enough price, who knows,” she retorted. “Come on.”
“Good luck,” Clarke offered as Lexa leaned down for a kiss. “I hope you go for higher than my dad. That’d be embarrassing.”
“Remember when I said you were beautiful in that dress?”
“Mhm.”
“I love you.”
“I know,” Clarke smiled. “I’ll see you after.”
XXXXXXXXXXX
Left to her own devices, Clarke finally took stock of the past hour of her life and ventured a moment to think of the next one. There was something magical about Lexa showing up in the limo, dressed to the nines, her hair perfect and tamed, or at least as much as it could be. It lived forever in her mind, that image of a dashing girl, adjusting her watch at the foot of the stairs, the look she got when Clarke walked down the steps.
She was smitten with the polo player. She was more smitten than she could ever remember being, and she didn’t want anyone else going to lunch with her girlfriend.
Exchanging pleasantries with the rest of her table before her friend returned, Clarke did everything she could to put the events of the limo out of her mind. There was something about how sexy Lexa was, and how her hands were always everywhere, and her lips were always so warm. It was alarming to want someone so much. It was new for Clarke.
Beneath the small tree in her apartment, there were little gifts, already wrapped and ready for Lexa. There were plans, already, for that morning.
“There is going to be a feeding frenzy over your dad and girlfriend.”
“How’s he doing backstage? He hates attention.”
“I might bid on him myself, honestly.”
“Did he say he’d bank roll you to get him out of it?”
“Even if he did, I’d hold him to a date.”
“Ew on so many levels,” Clarke laughed.
“Him and Lexa are actually gossiping about watches and junk. They’re kind of adorable together. You might have to bring her around more,” Raven explained as she grabbed another glass of champagne.
“I don’t know if I’m more afraid of them getting along or not getting along.”

“Next up, we have perhaps the most eligible bachelor in all of New York City. You know him as the CEo of Griffin, and I know him as the father of my child, I give you, Jake Griffin.”
Abby applauded as the CEO sheepishly made his way out onto the catwalk toward the stand.
“Jake loves Italian food and Westerns. He’s run the NYC marathon five out of the last seven years and practices kickboxing with his daughter at least once a week. A proud alumni of Columbia, he’s become an affiliate professor teaching business classes part time at the community college.”
On the stage, Clarke’s father waved and put his other hand in his pocket.
“Bidding will start at five thousand for a wonderful lunch date while you tour the city from the water on his private yacht.”
“Five right here!” Raven yelled, lifting her paddle quickly.
“Stop!” Clarke rolled her eyes.
The bidding went higher and higher as Jake gave his daughter a confused glance. She just gave him a thumbs up and laughed at the entire thing.
“Remember, ‘tis the season, everyone,” Abby added. “We have fifty-five going once, going twice, and sold!”
Surprised as he was, Jake nodded and smiled toward the crowds. He offered a quick wave before retreating to the safety of the backstage.
“Next up, we have someone who needs no introduction, though I am going to give her one anyway.”
Unlike her predecessor, Lexa came out, prepared for the season, clad in a bright red Santa hat and sporting a very mischievous smile.
“The championship polo player and current model for Patek Philippe, Calvin Kline, and Ralph Lauren is fluent in four languages and enjoys spending the day snuggled up with a good book, something she’s done a lot of with a Masters in Latin American Literature.”
In a similar movement, Lexa waved toward the crowd and shoved a hand in her pocket, however she knew how to work a crowd and walk a runway, much to her girlfriend's faux chagrin. Lexa knew Clarke wasn’t one to get jealous, but she appreciated the display. She appreciated feeling wanted and protected, as if somehow the girl in the green and red gown would fight anyone who bid.
“Lexa Woods is an accomplished athlete. She’s an Olympian for her native Argentina, enjoys a hearty red wine, and spending time with her ponies. We’ll start the bidding at ten thousand.”
“Fifty thousand,” Clarke called out after a few people lifted their paddles.
It grew a little quieter for a moment.
“Sixty!” a voice rang out from another table, though Clarke couldn’t see where it was coming from exactly in the hubbub of the large hall.
“Seventy,” another joined, the crowd getting into it.
“Eighty!” Clarke interjected, earning a look from her mother.
“Ninety.”
“One hundred.”
Clarke lowered her paddle and rolled her eyes.
All said and done, Lexa went for a record $183,000 and Clarke found herself somewhat proud of that number, just as Lexa looked floored by the final result before escaping backstage as well. But it was for charity, and Clarke was relieved to see that the winning bid was to an older woman.
XXXXXXXXXX
“I’m sorry I didn’t keep bidding on you,” Clarke mumbled as she plopped down onto the bed in the hotel room. “I would have easily spent a million dollars on you.”
“That’s kind, but I’m glad you didn’t,” Lexa smiled to herself.
Carefully, she folded her coat and laid it over the chair in the corner before she sat down and began removing her shoes. The light from the hallway streamed in, casting one long line across the livingroom and bedroom, but Clarke didn’t move at all, just spread her arms wide and stared at the ceiling, full of too much mirth and spirits.
“Are you going to take that dress off for bed? It doesn’t look too comfortable to sleep in.”
“Take it off for me.”
“Hopefully my lunch date will stay a little more sober than you.”
“I doubt it. I know Mrs. Winston and she’s about as dry as a… as a wet mop.”
Lexa shook her head and went about the task of undressing her girlfriend, grateful to have made use of their time together before the event. She knelt at the edge of the bed and began with the shoes, gingerly unstrapping them and slipping feet from them.
“I would have bid on you more.”
“I know. I wouldn’t have stopped if it were you.”
“Afraid I’d run off with some hedge fund manager?”
“Terribly afraid of that.”
“Nah,” Clarke murmured, lulling her drunken head to the side slightly. “Not with how good you look in a tuxedo. Holy fuck.”
“And I couldn’t care about a stupid lunch when you look like the most wonderful present waiting to be unwrapped,” Lexa promised.
“I’m drunk but I think you should come up here and kiss me right now.”
“Since you asked so nicely,” Leca shrugged before eagerly agreeing.

October Writing Challenge 2021 - Day 2
The most adorable Saffron Summers belongs to my favourite person @the-al-chemist 💛💛💛
“Are you coming or not?” Danielle Parkin asked for what felt like the hundredth time.
She and her friend Saffron Summers were on their way down to the hut belonging to Rubeus Hagrid, Care of Magical Creatures professor and resident gamekeeper of Hogwarts. The big pumpkin patch next to his hut was full to the brim with pumpkins of all forms and sizes, and Dana had been excited for days to go and collect some for various, very autumnal purposes; she had even painted her nails a bright red orange to mark the beginning of her favourite season of all times.
But at the rate they were going, they would be lucky to reach Hagrid’s hut by Christmas.
Like so many times already, Saffron, who was walking her bunny Gavin on a plaited hemp leash, had stopped and fallen behind. She had kneeled down and was inspecting a pile of leaves, discussing something with her furry friend Dana couldn’t hear.
Usually, she patiently let Saffron be her unique self, but today, Dana was impatient to get down to the pumpkin patch.
“Come on, Saff, we don’t have all day,” she sighed as Saff skipped down the path toward her.
“Oh yes, we do,” Saffron answered dreamily. “The moon phase is perfect for picking pumpkins the whole day. You want to go to Hagrid’s because Dylan will be there. Gavin agrees with me,” she added matter-of-factly.
Dana felt the heat rise to her cheeks. “I don’t know what you’re talking about. I can go and see Dylan any time I want, why would I be excited about him… this. Excited about this, I mean,” she corrected herself hastily.
“I don’t know,” Saffron shrugged and seemed to look right through Dana for a moment. “Your aura is such a beautiful pink, do you know that? Like a summer sunset.”
Humming to herself, Saffron strolled past a confused Dana, who followed her with a shake of her head.
They reached Hagrid’s hut without any more unplanned stops a short while later. Dana couldn’t help the elated smile spreading on her face as her eyes scanned the pumpkin patch. Hagrid had outdone himself this year, and some of the pumpkins stood even taller than Dana herself. The thought about sitting in a giant jack-o-lantern made her chuckle.
Dana clapped her hands enthusiastically. “Alright, let’s get to work.”
They ventured out into the pumpkin patch on the lookout for the perfect specimen. When they reached the other side of the vegetable garden, Dana could see two figures sitting on the low wall separating Hagrid’s garden from the Forbidden Forest. It was Dylan Amari, who Dana had known all her life, and his Muggle friend, who often helped Hagrid with his classes. They were bent over some sort of leather harness they were in the process of mending.
Before Dana could stop her, Saffron had already called out to her two friends. Dylan looked up from his work upon hearing his name, and smiled broadly when he saw Dana and Saffron. He said something to his friend and hopped down from the wall. The cold October breeze stirred his dark, messy hair as he walked towards them, and Dana suddenly found her heavy knit cardigan a tad too warm.
Saffron looked at her curiously. “So much pink,” she sighed and danced off to continue her search; Dana didn’t join her, instead waiting for Dylan to reach her.
“You could have told me you’re coming down,” he said with a warm smile. His voice was low and had a warm timbre to it that reminded Dana of a warm hearthfire. “What are you doing here?”
“Hagrid said we could have some pumpkins. You know, for decorating and baking.”
Dylan hummed in response. “Any luck so far?”
Dana showed him her empty hands and laughed. “Apparently not. I want them to be just right.”
Dylan looked at her sceptically. “Isn’t one pumpkin like the other?”
“Absolutely not,” Dana said vehemently. “There’s size to consider, and colour, and form and so many other things.”
“Uh-huh,” Dylan said, looking unconvinced. “So you’re looking for the perfect pumpkin, I get that. But what in Godric’s name is Saffron doing?”
Dana turned around to see Saffron repeatedly circling a particularly large pumpkin. Gavin the rabbit was sitting on top of it and looked just as bewildered as Dylan.
“Don’t you think that one’s a little big, Saff?” Dana called out to her; she didn’t fancy carrying that one back to the school at all.
Saffron shook her head, her blonde hair flying around her like a halo. “I think this one has completed its last growth cycle,” Saffron called back, “let me just check.” She reached into one of the many pockets of her colourful jacket and produced a gleaming crystal on a delicate chain. She held it close to the pumpkin and studied the tiny movements of the pendulum in her hand with a concentrated look.
“She’s trying to determine if that is the correct pumpkin to pick,” Dana explained to Dylan before he could ask, “she takes this very seriously.”
“I can see that,” Dylan said wryly. “But what is she doing now?”
Dana turned around again and had to stifle a sigh; Saffron had put her crystal away and was now sitting on the ground hugging the giant pumpkin as far as her arms would reach. They didn’t even go halfway round; considering its impressive size, Dana contemplated if levitating the gigantic pumpkin all the way back would work.
“She is apologising to the pumpkin that we are about to pick it,” she said. She had to bite her lip to keep herself from laughing at Dylan’s incredulous expression.
“She does realise that it’s a pumpkin, does she?”
“Tell that to her.”
“It’s a pumpkin, Saff. It doesn’t mind getting picked, you know? That’s kind of the whole point of growing them,” Dylan said to the sad looking girl on the ground with a louder voice.
“How would you like getting ripped out of the home you’ve known your entire life and carted off to some unknown destination?” Saffron said and wrinkled her nose. “Don’t worry, dear Pumpkin,” she said more softly and laid her cheek against the orange surface, “I am very sorry we are about to pick you, but I’ll promise we’ll make a delicious pie out of you.”
They gave Saffron and her pumpkin another moment before Dylan sliced its stem and helped Dana levitate it back to the school. It was really heavy so Dana was glad for the assistance, as a sniffing Saffron was too sad about the pumpkin’s demise to concentrate properly; she covered her mouth when Dana had to magically slice it in two to make it fit through the door that would lead them to the dungeons.
When they had reached the kitchens, Saffron had regained most of her composure again.
“Do you want to help us bake?” she asked Dylan when he was about to return to Hagrid’s hut again. “I think Dana would like some help.”
“I’m no use in the kitchen, but you can call me any time to judge the results,” Dylan laughed and turned to go.
Dana watched after him as he quickly walked up the stairs and vanished around the corner. She hastily raised her wand again when the pumpkin halves floating next to her almost came crashing to the ground.
“What did you ask him for?” she asked Saffron, who leaned her head against Dana’s shoulder with an other-worldly smile. “We do this every year. I don’t need his help.”
“Just a feeling,” Saffron said dreamily, “very pink.”

Here to request again! Brainy and Nia ice skating, cute date prompt
- I'm sorry this is so late! But I hope you enjoy! x
It was official, Kara freezing over a whole lake was by far the coolest thing Nia had ever seen her use her ice breath for.
After the stresses of the last few weeks had finally accumulated to unbearable levels, it had become clear that the Super Friends were in need of a serious break. Somewhere that they could all go out and just relax. No Tower, no emergencies, no crime fighting and certainly no Super Friends. Just friends. Hanging out. Having a good time.
Everyone had agreed that they didn’t want to be cooped up indoors anymore, so karaoke or game night had been quickly removed from the equation. But, with the weather growing gradually colder, Kara had suggested a fun, day-time alternative.
In all honesty, Nia hadn’t expected that suggestion to be ice skating - and she really, really hadn’t expected there to be no rink involved.
She hadn’t exactly skated much in her life. Roller blading, sure, but Parthas hadn’t had a rink, and the only time she’d ever ice skated had been at a friend’s birthday party out of town.
If memory served, she’d fallen on her ass a graceful count of twelve times.
But, that was years ago. Besides, she was Dreamer, now, right? If she could master combat training with Brainy, or throw electrified energy across a room, then how hard could skating be?
The second she’d stepped foot on the ice, she got her answer.
“Don’t let go, okay?” Nia asked for what felt like the hundredth time that afternoon.
She’d been circling with Brainy around the outskirts of the lake for about an hour now, though with the little progress she’d made, it felt way longer than that. The grassy verge was right by her feet, and if she lost her balance, she knew that it’d be right there to cushion her fall, but she didn’t want to give up.
Alex and Kelly had been skating a little ways away, passing Nia and Brainy by every so often, holding hands, smiling and laughing, looking all couple-y. They could both skate well enough that neither one relied on the other to remain upright.
Nia couldn’t help but feel a little disheartened by that.
As she’d expected, Brainy was a natural when it came to ice skating. A skill that took balance and perfect form to master should have been a dead giveaway that she’d be skating with a pro; but, of course, he couldn’t exactly showcase those talents while he was stuck at her side, acting as the stabilisers to her proverbial bike.
And, Kara? Nia should have known that Kara would have been an expert at this, too. Although, Kara was spending less time on the ice and more of it trying to encourage Lena to come out and join them. Lena, however, had insisted she was perfectly happy to watch from the side lines, book sat comfortably across her lap.
Nia half wished she’d done that, too. But, now that she was out on the ice, she was not getting off until she’d at least figured out how to move in a straight line without risking serious injury.
Not that she was worried about getting injured. Brainy’s hand had remained on the small of her back the whole time she’d been on the ice, holding her posture in place, the warmth of his fingers secure against her spine. His other hand held tightly to her arm, helping to guide her forward, encouraging her to drag her feet in more natural motions to the ones she’d started out with.
“You’re improving,” Brainy noted with clear approval, a gentle smile in his voice. “Soon, you won’t need my guidance at all.”
Nia forced a smile of her own, trying her hardest to keep focused on the ice ahead of her. “I don’t think I’m ready for that yet,” she muttered.
“Are you sure?”
And, just like riding a bike, Brainy let her go.
Panic ignited in Nia’s chest the second she watched him disappear from her peripheral.
“What?” she squeaked. “No, no, Brainy, don’t let go! Don’t let go! Brainy!”
Nia threw her arms out ahead of her, which she realised a second too late was not a good idea. The whole action only threw her already teetering balance to the precipice of disaster. In vain, she tried to hold herself in the posture Brainy had been teaching her, locking her knees together at the last moment to keep from tripping face first into the ice. She was half inclined to use a bubble of dream energy as an emergency stopper.
She needn't have worried. Before she could even summon her powers, Brainy had swooped in around her again, using his ring to lift himself from the ice just enough that he effortlessly caught up to her, landing just inches ahead.
Nia made a sound somewhere between a gasp and a squeal as she knocked into his front – her own personal braking system.
She grabbed a hold of his chest, laughing into the fabric of his sweatshirt. “That was low,” she said.
“It worked, did it not?”
“Yeah! If by worked you mean nearly gave me a heart attack.” She laughed again, still feeling a little giddy from the adrenaline rush. Out of curiosity, she turned her head, quirking an eyebrow at the ground she’d covered. “Well, hey, look at that. At least I conquered straight lines.”
“Would you like to continue?” Brainy asked seriously. His hands slotted around her back, securing her to the spot when her foot slid a little too far out from under her. He lowered his voice. “We don’t have to if you don’t want to.”
“Do you want to?” Nia asked dubiously, glancing back towards him. “I’m guessing it’s not that much fun being my instructor.”
“On the contrary,” Brainy said, squeezing her tight. “I find it very fun.”
Nia looked up at him then, so taken by the sudden warmth in his eyes. She’d been so worried that Brainy hadn’t been enjoying himself that she’d nearly missed it, that excited look he got whenever he taught her a new move in combat or witnessed her improve upon a dream ability in real time.
He really was enjoying himself. Just by being by her side.
That realisation caused something to stir in Nia’s chest, swarming inside her stomach like butterflies. Maybe it was the chill of the ice talking, but something was telling her to lean in just a little closer - enough that she could feel Brainy’s breath graze her lips, so warm and inviting against her skin.
She closed her eyes, digging her fingers into Brainy’s sweatshirt, feeling his own hands tighten against her in response.
“Guys, if you’re going to make out, please do it somewhere you don’t get in the way!” Alex called out, jerking Nia from the moment all at once.
Alex was stood behind them, the whole rest of the lake totally empty had she really wanted to get past. Nia gritted her teeth, spinning around to glare at her. Alex only smirked, raising her hands in fake surrender.
“Oh, like you weren’t doing that with Kelly, like, five minutes ago!” Kara said as she shot past Alex on the lake, dousing Nia in an icy chill. “Do you know how difficult it is skating around you two? At least Brainy and Nia keep to the sides!”
Alex stuck her tongue out at her sister, of which Kara returned with matched enthusiasm.
Nia rolled her eyes, turning back to her boyfriend. Brainy still looked a little flushed, and from the heat still warming her cheeks, she figured she wasn’t doing much better.
She glanced down, taking Brainy's hand in hers, squeezing tight. “Alright, Wildcat. I’m ready,” she announced. “Let’s keep going.”
And hey, if Brainy could help her explore further from the lake's edge, maybe they could find a spot that would be way harder for Alex to intrude on.

— coming clean.
word count: 2k
warning(s): mentions of anxiety, swearing
set in early january 2021 after the events of our first snow
notes: all the conversations and text messages here are in korean!!
summary: juliet goes to hongjoong for advice after making her relationship with dino official.
juliet’s masterlist | ask game
Juliet forces herself to take several deep breaths at the familiar door leading to Hongjoong’s studio. She’s been hanging outside in the hallway for the past ten minutes ever since she finished practising for their upcoming comeback, not being able to bring herself to knock as she knew exactly why she was still here at this hour.
Come on, Baek Minyoung. It’s just Hongjoong, he won’t be mad. You have to do this. He’ll help you.
She brings her fist up only to falter at the last second. If anyone passed by now, they’d definitely question why she’s standing ominously still with her fist suspended in the air.
To say that Juliet is dreading the imminent conversation would be a gross understatement. She even doubted if it was a good idea coming to Hongjoong first instead of telling all eight members at once. She hates keeping secrets from them, who know her as well as, if not more than, her family, and could definitely tell if she was hiding something.
But the thought of having this conversation with everyone felt so daunting, and she had hoped that if she spoke with the leader first she could ease herself into telling the others.
It isn’t that she’s afraid of them—no, that isn’t it at all. All nine of them value honesty and communication above everything else, and they’ve each came clean to one another about many things many times prior to today. So she wasn’t scared of them, but their reaction and very likely, their disappointment.
She doesn’t feel mentally prepared enough, it’s like giving a class presentation when you know nothing about the material, or jumping out a plane without checking if you have a parachute on. The anxiety is building within her, causing her chest to constrict and her breathing to become harsher and laboured. Her nails dug into her palm as her fist clenched more and more with every second.
Chan knew she was doing this tonight because she texted him earlier with the promise that she’d call him as soon as it was over, and he in turn assured her that he would be there waiting for her call no matter the hour. She tried to imagine his voice telling her to take deep breaths while forcing herself to uncurl her fist.
Is it possible to feel your heartbeat in your ear? Because that’s fucking happening.
She doesn’t how long she’s been at this when her hand, as though moving on its own accord, raps at the frosted glass. Upon realising what she had done, Juliet quickly lowers her arm so it rests at her side, heart now beating even more rapidly because holy shit what have I done I wasn’t ready yet why did I knock whatthefuckwhatthefuck—
“Come in!”
Good fucking job, Juliet.
Releasing a heavy sigh, the girl cracks open the door and sticks her head in, meeting the concerned gaze of Hongjoong who rakes a tired hand through his hair, the exhaustion that seems to settle permanently in his features when he’s working is unmistakable.
It always pains her to see him like this. Juliet thinks he works too hard—not that working hard is a bad thing necessarily, but it’s no secret that Hongjoong can sometimes give too much to the point where he neglects himself.
Of course, she’s not the first person who’s said something about it to him, because she’s definitely overheard Seonghwa lightly scolding the leader for not taking care of himself more. And she knows Hongjoong is trying, so she tries not to bring it up as much to avoid placing more burden on his shoulders.
The irony of this sentiment is not lost on Juliet, because she is very well aware that what she is about to confess to him is most certainly going to be another cause of worry. She hates it—knowing that she’s the reason why someone is upset or stressed. But she also knows that telling him is the right (and inevitable) thing to do.
“Minyoung-ah, you’re still here? It’s—” Hongjoong spins around in his chair to glance at his phone screen—“it’s almost one. I thought you went home already,” he says disapprovingly. “You should be sleeping by now.”
Juliet bites down on her tongue to prevent herself from making a “well, you’re still working too” comment, and instead hands him the cup of takeaway coffee she’s been holding onto all this time with a sheepish smile. “I got you coffee?”
He sighs but takes the cup nonetheless while she makes herself comfortable on the spare office chair. “I thought you hated bringing me coffee.”
“Only because it would make you stay up even later and I don’t want to keep enabling your bad sleeping habits.”
“Yet you still do it. Bribing me, perhaps? What is it this time?”
She rolls her eyes playfully. “You say that like I’m the problem child in the family,” she pouts before sobering up. “I don’t know if you’d call it a bribe, but...um...I came here for advice because I thought you’d be the best person to go to.”
Hongjoong knows that look on her face better than anyone else, instantly recognising that whatever she has on her mind is serious.
“Okay, one sec,” he says, turning around to click a few buttons on his software before facing her once more. “What’s wrong? I’m all ears.”
“Will you be mad?”
Hongjoong sighs again, hand reaching out to give the maknae’s a few gentle pats on the head. “You know I could never be mad at you.”
Juliet holds out her pinky finger. “Promise?” she asks, prompting a snort from him.
“What are we, twelve?” he says teasingly, though he humours her anyways and interlaces his pinky with hers.
“Only on a scale of one to ten.”
This makes Hongjoong cackle, and he can’t help but admire how she manages to stay witty despite being clearly nervous about something. “Fine, you win. But seriously, is everything okay?”
Here goes nothing.
“Uh...well...you know how Chan and I went out last week?”
“I recall it, yes. What about it?”
“I—he—um...” That fear and nervous she was feeling earlier returns with full force. She might’ve had a chance to run away when she was still in the hallway, but she doubts that she can bolt out of the studio to avoid having this conversation.
Hongjoong places a hand on hers which are starting to shake. “Hey, it’s going to be okay,” he says softly, “I can’t guarantee that I’ll react the way you want me to, but I’ll always hear you out.”
A tiny sniffle. “That’s not very reassuring.”
He chuckles. “Maybe not, but just take some deep breaths, okay? We’re here to support each other, this is a safe space to talk about anything.”
It takes a minute or so for Juliet to compose herself before she decides that it’s pointless to beat around the bush. “He...he asked me to be his girlfriend.”
Hongjoong nods. If her confession shocked him, he’s doing a good job not showing it. “And what did you say?”
“I said yes.”
“Okay.”
“Okay?” Juliet echoes in disbelief, “that’s all you have to say?”
The rapper shrugs. “I mean, I think we all know you two were going to get together officially sooner or later, so I can’t say I’m surprised or anything.”
“Are you disappointed?” she asks lightly, trying not to give away how nervous she is and how devastated she’d be if he was. “Mad?”
“No,” the response comes immediately. “If anything, I’m glad you trust me enough to tell me. You’re an adult, you can make decisions for yourself, and I think it goes without saying that we all trust you with such a decision, and that you’ve thought about it comprehensively before coming to it. Also, you’re allowed to have a personal life, no one has the right to hold it against you.”
Juliet’s eyebrows knit so closely together that they almost form a single line. “But...I promised you guys back then that I’d be careful and wait.”
“Hasn’t it almost been a full year since you met?” Hongjoong asks rhetorically. “I think you two waited long enough.”
A tear escapes her eye. “I just don’t want to get you guys in trouble because of something wrong I did,” she says quietly.
The leader wordlessly grabs a tissue from his desk to dab away the tears that flow down her cheeks. “It’s not wrong to want to have a relationship, Minyoung-ah,” he says, still wiping away the droplets. “I know it can seem otherwise in this industry, but it’s true. If something happens, we’ll deal with it then and we’ll get through it, like we have with anything else.”
“How can you be so sure?”
“Nine makes one team, right?”
Juliet cracks a small smile, which Hongjoong returns with one of his own. “Right.”
“Have you told the others yet?”
“No,” she admits, “I thought I might get too overwhelmed breaking the news to all eight of you at the same time, but I’ll tell them tomorrow morning because I think some of them will probably already be asleep by the time I get home.”
Hongjoong nods. “Okay, good. What about the company?”
She stays quiet for a few seconds, weighing her options for what seems like the hundredth time that week. “I think I’ll tell them,” she finally says. “I’d rather them find out about us from me than from a tabloid.”
“I agree,” he concurs, “it shows that you trust them enough to let them know and that you’re not hiding something from them.” Hongjoong pauses, as though debating on whether to say what he’s thinking of. “Are you worried that they might say no?”
“Of course, but...if that happens...I’ll just see what I can do.”
“If they tell you to break it off, the eight of us will cover for you,” Hongjoong suggests cheekily.
Juliet giggles. “I’ll hold you to that, because I like Chan too much to break it off like that.”
The leader makes a face. “Okay, gross, you did not have to say that. A simple ‘thanks!’ would’ve sufficed, you know.”
“Don’t make me throw this snotty ball of tissue at you.”
Hongjoong snorts before his features soften. “Feel better?” he asks gently as he watches the girl dab away any remaining moisture from her waterline.
“Much,” Juliet smiles gratefully, feeling as though a significant weight has been lifted off her chest. “Thanks for talking this out with me.”
He ruffles her hair, prompting her to swat his hands away. “It’ll be okay, you’ll see. You two have my blessing.”
“Sure, like I need it,” Juliet says sarcastically, though she can’t help the blush that spreads across her cheeks.
“Yah! I practically raised you with Seonghwa!”
“Okay, okay,” Juliet concedes, wrapping her arms around Hongjoong’s neck to hug him. “Thanks again,” she whispers.
The boy pats her on the head. “Hurry up and go home.”
“Don’t work too late, understand?”
Hongjoong playfully salutes her. “Yes, ma’am. I’m almost done anyways.”
“Nice try, but I’ll spare you the lecture this time.”
“Thank you, O Mighty One, you are as merciful as you are beautiful.”
Juliet cackles at the exasperation dripping from Hongjoong’s tone before giving him a final hug and leaving the studio with a quiet click! of the door shutting.
For a few minutes, she stays there to watch him through the door, and though his figure is blurry and unclear from the frosted glass, it’s not hard to spot that he’s already resuming his work, back hunched over the desk and head occasionally darting up to look at the computer screen. She can only hope that he’ll keep his promise and get some rest soon.
As Juliet walks to the car park where her manager is waiting, Hongjoong’s heartfelt words echo over and over in her head. Feeling much lighter from relief, gratitude and hope, she pulls out her phone to send two messages.

a/n: hongjoong bestest bestest bestest boy ;-; hehe let me know what you think of this update!! we stan people who actively, honestly and healthily communicate with each other!! communication really is so important in any relationship and that’s something i had to learn the hard way.
i’m also debating on whether i should write one of the others’ reactions when juliet tells them but i also think it’d be pretty similar to this one (ie. they’d all be really supportive of their relationship even if they were slightly worried for them), so i don’t want to repeat any content but let me know if you want to see that or anything else (eg. more dino/juliet or ateez/juliet moments)!! 💕
please do consider leaving feedback whether it’s a reblog, a reply or an ask, it would mean the absolute world to me 🥺 thank you for reading and i hope you’re having a good day 💕 remember you can always chat with me through my asks and i’m here for you!!

Carol Danvers ~ Two Sides Of The Same Coin
Chapter 1: Audacity
The bounty of a lifetime isn't one you're about to turn down, despite the life threatening challenges and rivals. The most irritating of which is an intergalactic superhero who becomes insistent on aiding you, whether you like it or not
Two
[ masterlist ]
Buy me a coffee ☕
~ ~ ~ ~ ~
"For the hundredth time, I don't know where he is! Either buy something or go someplace else."
Fuck, another dead end.
You searched the bartender's irritated eyes for any trace of a lie, already knowing you wouldn't find any but still holding onto a glimmer of hope you would catch a trace of something.
Nothing.
What had hope ever gotten you anyway?
"Just some Asgardian ale." You muttered. You really shouldn't have been buying such an expensive drink. Not to mention wouldn't be able to have much of it due to your plans of not passing out drunk that night. But you were just as frustrated and tired as the bartender.
A break could help. You lied.
You paid the bartender and tried to ignore the harsh feeling of regret already being planted in your gut. At least the alcohol would get rid of that - before it got worse.
Taking the glass, you dragged yourself to the back of the bar towards the corner you thought you wouldn't be disturbed in. That was usually the kind of environment you had your best ideas and tactics planned. The noise stopped your mind from wandering and the low level allowed you to concentrate. Even the slight buzz of the alcohol had its advantages.
But there was no success that night.
The bartender knew nothing. He was your final lead who would corporate with you. The next person you visited would be far less welcoming.
You had known that would happen when you accepted the job. It was going to be the hardest one you ever did, and the most rewarding. You had to keep reminding yourself that.
You're going to make a lot of enemies. You warned yourself for the hundredth time that week. It was true, you would. The number of people you could trust would plummet. You would have your own hit on your head. Was that really something you were prepared for?
I already have. Nothing will change. I've prepared for this. This is the bounty of a lifetime.
You were staring into your glass when she sat down. Her blonde locks were a blur in your peripheral, a momentary distraction from the recognisable colours of her suit.
It was hard to comprehend it for a second. She had arrived so suddenly and caught you unaware. Something you weren't familiar with. It was unnerving.
You sat upright and met her studious gaze. She was watching you carefully, as though trying to get a read on you. You did the same.
You had always wondered, maybe even hoped, that you would meet her. You were in two different lines of business but it wasn't like you hadn't crossed paths with heros before. There was usually some kind of mutual understanding, even some respect. You were quick to learn there wouldn't be any of that from her - not in that bar.
"Y/l/n." Carol stated, as though the pair of you were already acquainted. But it was far from a warm greeting.
Part of you wondered if you had done something illegal in your last job. Usually things like that were never dealt with, no one had the time to be chasing around bounty hunters when they were practically always on the move (and you saved the authorities a lot of trouble).
"Danvers." You replied. Both of you maintaining your stoic expressions.
"Captain Danvers." She corrected. You didn't acknowledge that and made no effort to correct yourself, wondering if it would damage that ego you had heard so much about, so she continued. "I've heard you have some information that could be of interest." She said. You didn't like where that was going. "What do you know about Daexire?" Fuck all. "Working progress." She quipped an eyebrow at that and waited for you to elaborate. You hoped she would be quick to catch on that you weren't much of a talker and that you had no interest in letting her swoop in to take your bounty.
"Do you know where he is?" God, no.
You breathed deeply through your nose before you leant forward onto your arms and flicked the side of your glass. The sound carried between you for a brief moment.
"Do you really think I would be sat here if I did?" Carol's eyes flicked down to the liquid in your glass, took in your outfit then finally returned to your slightly narrowed eyes.
"I wouldn't be surprised." You put a lid on the anger starting to replace the regret in your guts.
You were about to assure her that wasn't what you did, that whoever had told her about you didn't know you at all. She started talking again before you could, not picking up on - or maybe just not acknowledging - the trace of annoyance that may have slipped. You blamed the alcohol for that.
"Do you know anyone who does?" You did. That was a long list you were working through. Daexire was a famous man. But he was also a feared and respected one. Both were hard to overcome.
"I don't." Had it been another bounty and another hero, you would have told them. However a bounty like it wouldn't come up again, it was what you needed to escape that life you had forced yourself into. And Carol's complete disregard of your capabilites was definetly something that was going to encourage you. Maybe your pride was a little fragile.
Carol narrowed her eyes at you for longer than you were comfortable with, because you both knew she didn't believe you. You also both knew that you wouldn't tell her anything different. Yet she persisted.
"Daexire is a powerful man. He abuses that power and will continue to do so until he's stopped." The seriousness of her voice had a small voice in the back of your head urge you to tell her what she needed to know. She was right. Daexire was powerful, and so was Carol. But you knew what you were doing too.
"So I hear." Was all you said as your eyes stayed fixed on hers.
"This is serious, y/l/n." Carol warned.
"So I hear." Her jaw clenched firmly at that. You were glad to see you had gained the upper hand in some way. It certainly encouraged you.
"You're in way over your head with Daexire." It was your turn to clench your jaw. She didn't even give you the benefit of the doubt.
"And what makes you think you're not?"
Without a word, Carol held her arm out at her side and aimed her fist at an area over your shoulder. Swirls of yellow light flowed around her fist with spikes of blue and red among it.
There was no time to admire the lightshow. A blast of energy left her fist and fired across the bar, sending everyone into panic.
Everyone ducked down to avoid the blast and it's damage but you weren't focused on them, or even the photon blast. Sure, it was a little close for comfort, but Carol wouldn't hurt you. That you were certain of.
"You want to distract Daexire with a lightshow?" You quipped, feigning disinterest. Carol was far from pleased with that.
"You're going to get yourself killed trying to capture him." She no longer held herself back, set on saying something to make you second guess your stubborness. "Just tell me who can lead me to him and it will all be over so much quicker." Carol was growing impatient and didn't try to hide it, or perhaps she was unable to. You had been taking the piss more than anyone had in a long time.
"I can handle myself and I can handle Daexire." Your confidence in your knowledge and abilities had never failed you before.
You downed the Asgardian ale in one before Carol could get another word in. Embracing the instant, electrifying burn of the alcohol, you stood up from your seat and left the bar without looking back at Captain Marvel.
* * *
"I don't know anything." He was lying through his teeth, which were currently tainted a light red from the blood in his mouth.
Just as you had guessed, your visit wasn't welcome. The moment he opened the door to you he tried to slam it in your face upon recognition, instantly attempting to flee through the back door. He had put up a fight when you caught him - a surprisingly long one - that had ended with him tired to his own chair while you looked around the house and asked him questions.
You found nothing. You knew Daexire never liked having a paper trail of his work, but you would be kicking yourself if you didn't try.
"What was the last thing you designed for him?" You asked as your eyes wondered across the mantelpiece.
The man, Owen, was renowned for his weapons. They weren't exactly your style, but you had seen enough close up demonstrations of those weapons to know they were efficient to say the least.
They were all overtly large and had a hell of a kick to them (and must be a joy to try out) not to mention the most expensive weapons on the black market. So it was no surprise there had been countless rumours that Owen had designed one or two things special for Daexire. Whether it was a spineless ass-kissing attempt, a try for an alliance or just fear of being on Daexire's bad side, you weren't sure.
"Nothing. I've never had any business with him." You didn't have to turn around to know he was lying. Having him in your peripheral was enough.
"You're not getting out of that chair until I'm satisfied with what you tell me." You said, eyeing the figurine of an old fashioned Earth car.
"I have nothing else to say." Owen scowled.
"Maybe we could have a chat instead?" You spun around at the sound of the cocky voice.
Carol met you with an arrogant smirk at the sight of your confusion, wanting to know how she had snuck up on you without you noticing...again!
You watched her in annoyance as she strolled across the room towards Owen.
"Seems like you do know people who can help, y/l/n."
"Must have slipped my mind." Not bothering to conceal the lie. Carol hummed in response and trailed her focus back to Owen.
"Daexire. Where is he?" Carol demanded in a no-bullshit tone. You watched Owen carefully, curious to see if he was going to respond differently to the arrogant blonde, that would definetly be irritating.
"I already told that crazy bitch," he nodded in your direction, "I don't know." That wasn't a lie. He really didn't know. That didn't mean there wasn't other things he could share.
Carol clearly hadn't come to the same conclusion. In a second she had her arm raised and fired a photon blast across the room, making a prominent indent in the wall. That's getting annoying really quickly.
"He really doesn't know." You said as you leant back against the wall, your arms crossed as you watched the interaction.
"And how are you so sure?" Carol asked, completly unconvinced.
The corner of your lip twitched into a small smile. You weren't going to let Carol in on your secrets. At least not yet.
"I just do. So leave it."
"No chance." The swirls around her wrist started up again and this time Carol levelled her arm to Owen's chest. She wouldn't...would she?
Owen seemed skeptical too, willing to try his luck. "You're not going to kill me."
"Who said anything about killing? There isn't just one level to this thing, you know? It could just hurt...really badly." Carol left her implications hanging in the air as you both watched Owen fidget in his seat.
"I really don't know where he is-" Carol's fist lit up more and a soft hum emanated from it warningly. "Because no one does." He said in a rush, turning his face away. "He knows about the bounty and he doesn't trust anyone right now." Owen explained as fast as he could.
Carol glanced over at you, much to your surprise, and you nodded. He was telling the truth.
"So he's scared?" Carol asked, still holding her fist close.
"He's preparing."
"For what? Me?" You rolled your eyes and tried to ignore Carol's I'm-the-centre-of-the-universe attitude.
"For anything." That had you wondering just how many people were going after Daexire. You had assumed it would be very few. For most they wouldn't even come close and if they did it would be certain death.
"And that's all you know?" You knew it needed to be asked, but you hated that question because you were already certain of the answer. You looked up to have your thoughts confirmed. Truth.
You walked towards Owen and took a knife from your belt. He leant away for a moment but relaxed when you started cutting the ties.
Another dead end. You pondered if the knowledge that a lot of people were after Daexire would help you at some point. You knew you shouldn't let that optimism distract you.
"Thank you for your cooperation." Carol said in a mocking business woman tone.
Owen made the smart decision of not responding and rubbed his wrists as he watched the pair of you leave with another scowl.
"So where now?" Carol asked as you stepped out the door of the house with the blonde right behind you.
"Were you following me?" You accused as you took a step back to put some space between you.
"Yep." You didn't know if it was that Carol knew you would see through her lie or just that she wanted to declare that with some pride. The smug look on her face told you it was the latter.
It has been a couple days since your meeting in the bar. You would be lying if you said Carol hadn't popped up in your mind since then, wondering if you had made the right decision in brushing her off. But you really hadn't expected her to be following you.
"Well stop. This isn't happening." You motioned between the pair of you and made your way back to your ship to consider your options.
"I helped you out in there!" Carol called out as she jogged to catch up with you.
"You did fuck all." You scoffed. She didn't have a reply for that. You weren't entirely right - she did help - but you would have been fine on your own. Interrogation was something you excelled at. It wouldn't have taken you long to get those answers on your own.
"I can help." She insisted.
"Then help yourself, Danvers." Deliberately not calling her Captain.
You remotely opened the cargo door of your ship from the device around your forearm before you turned around to get another look at Carol.
"And don't follow me." You said as the door closed. She made no objections, but something told you you would be seeing the blonde hero again.

Shes Just My Omega: Alpha!Shawn x Omega! Y/N
Y/N overhears Shawn say something she wasnt meant to hear. Angst angst angst.
It was the last friday of the month, which meant tonight was the monthly party thrown at the pack house. It was a mix of werewolves and humans who all attended the same university as we did, just something to take a little bit if the edge off after training the whole month.
It was around 11pm, the peak of the party, as the kegs were getting emptier and empter as the dance floor filled up. The colorful lights beamed off the walls as the music blared, allowing me to feel the bass in my chest. I was currently in a very intense game of beer pong against Brian, when I suddenly got a very distinct craving for some pringles chips.
“Be right back, and don’t touch anything!” I screamed over my shoulder at Brian as I made my was to the kitchen, shoving my way through the bodies. Making my way closer to the kitchen that held my beloved pringles, I saw Shawn leaning against the kitchen counter, naturally exuding his alpha energy, while chatting with one of the frat boys from the university.
Just as I was about to make my way into the kitchen, I heard my name fall from his lips. “Y/N?” Shawn scoffed, “No, god no. She’s just my little omega.”
“Seriously? Shes cute!” The frat boy whos name I’ve already forgotten replied. “Yeah, and I know she’d do anything I ask including giving me a good fuck but, no. I could never date her,” Shawn chuckled before raising the cup up to his lips again for the hundredth time that night. The frat boy hollered in laughter, shaking his head at the cocky alpha.
I couldn’t believe what I just heard. I felt my blood boil all while my heart shattered to pieces. All those months feeled with little flirtatious gestures, late night talks, lingering gazes, it all meant nothing to him? He saw me as nothing but.... his fucking omega? Just one of his followers from the pack? My jaw clenched as I stormed out of the packed living room, immediately running upstairs ti my room and packing an overnight bag to stay at Jack’s for the night.
“Thanks for letting me crash here tonight, I owe you one,” I said to my best friend since middle school as I draped a blanket over myself on his couch.
“No problem, kid. You wanna talk about it?” He replied. “Nah,” I shook my head. He nodded before wishing me a good night and heading up to his room. And that was it.
I closed my eyes, reading to drift off to sleep when I got a text notification.
1:02 am
Shawn
Y/N where are you?
You should’ve at least told someone before you left
Y/N this isnt funny, where are you? Are you okay?
I rolled my eyes at the sight. I was done playing his game, wondering if I really meant something to him or if he was just being his usual protective alpha self as he was to everyone else in the pack. I put the phone on mute before resting my eyes and finally nodding off.
When the morning came, I was woken by the sound of loud booming knocks on the door. Groggy and confused, I begrudgingly shoved the blankets off my body befofe making my way towards Jack’s front door. Upon opening the door, it revealed a visbily upset Shawn, chest heaving and everything.
“Y/N! Are you fucking crazy?” He wasted no time in giving one of his infamous lectures. His loud volume didn’t help the pounding hangover headache from last night’s alcohol. “How did you even find me?”
“I smelled you. Next time you decide to run off, try picking a place more than a mile away?” He rambled, “I was worried- I mean, we were all worried! We didn’t know if you were even alive!”
“God, could you be any more dramatic, Shawn?” I answered, eyes still closed as I rubbed my temples.
“Whats going on?” Jack came from his bedroom, shirtless and plaid pajama bottoms hanging low on his waist. Shawn glanced between the two of us, jaw clenching before he grabbed ahold of my hand, “We’re leaving. Now. You’re already late for training.”
He dragged me out of there so quick that I was barely able to muster a “I’m sorry!” to Jack before being dragged away like a child.
The tension in the room was thick, and the rest of the pack could definitely feel it. Brian was the closest to the both of you, but he knew better than to get in between one of our fights. The only thing they could do was to sit back and wait for it to play itself out.
I wasn’t my usual happy self during training. I usually enjoyed training with Shawn, loving to find an excuse to have his body pressed against mine. We would wrestle with banter, light laughter filling the room as we fought for dominance. But today wasn’t the case. My blood boiled just looking at his face, and it reflected in my actions.
“3, 2, 1!” Matt counted down for us. I lunged toward Shawn with no hesitation. The feeling of not wanting to hurt someone I fell so deeply for was long gone. Shawn was stronger than me, without a doubt. But I was faster. And I took him completely off guard, him not expecting this harsher new side to me. I had him pinned beneath me in a matter of minutes. I immediately jumped off of him as soon as Brian called my win, not wanting to prolong any of our skin on skin contact. Shawn chuckled lightly, suprised and slightly proud of my win, that didn’t come so often when it was against him.
“Good one, pup,” He smiled, raising his hand for me to shake as he always did after our training fights. The pet name that was specifically reserved for me made my heart sting. I walked out of the warehouse without so much of a glance at him or any of the other pack members. And this his how training went for the next couple of days. I no longer stayed back to observe, watching Shawn’s muscles flex as he fought with Matt or Geoff. I came in, trained, and left. I couldn’t stand spending an extra minute in the same room as Shawn.
About a week after the party, I was pulling an all nighter on the living room couch, struggling to finish my essay for my history class. The clock read 2:47 am, and I still wasn’t close to finishing. I was so engrossed into my laptop that I almost didn’t hear Shawn’s bedroom door open.
“Y/N,” he said, standing above me, trying to get my attention. Choosing to ignore him just like I’ve been doing for the past week, I continued typing away. Until my laptop was rudely yanked away from my grasp. “Shawn, what the fu-“
“Y/N,” he pleaded, “What the fuck did I do? I can’t sleep. I haven’t been able to sleep without you this whole week so can you please just tell me what I did?”
I rolled my eyes, “What? The big bad alpha can’t sleep without his little omega?” I said with venom dripping in my words.
He gulped, “Pup, what are you talking about?” I stood up from my seat from the couch, “Don’t call me that! I heard what you said about me at the party!”
His eyes widened as he realized his mistake, “Pup, please. I-I can explain.”
“Please! You could never date me? Find someone else to cuddle with then! Don’t fucking play with my feelings and lead me on!”
“I’m sorry, I’m so sorry, please just let me explain,” He took a step closer, reaching out to grab my hand. I flinched away immediately, his skin feeling like it was burning mine. Nevertheless, I let out a sigh and took a seat back on the couch, a wordless signal for him to keep going.
“I-I love you. And it scared the shit out of me. I’ve never felt this way about anyone before, and when Brad mentioned you, I just kind of freaked out. Please pup, I was drunk and I know thats not an excuse but I was just... scared,” He looked at me with pleading eyes.
“How can I even believe anything you say after what I heard? How could I trust you?” I replied. His head dropped, “Because...you’re my mate.”
My eyes widened, jaw dropping as he finished his sentence. “Your mate? What are you talking about?”
“Y/N, theres a reason why I can smell your scent way better than anyone elses, and why I can’t sleep without you, and why it kills me to not know where you are. I didn’t tell you because I guess I was in denial but... it hurts when you’re not with me,” Shawn reached out for my hand, but this time I didn’t flinch away.
“It feels much more intense for me because I’m an alpha but.. I know you feel it too Pup,” he raised his hand to my face, thumb gently stroking my cheek and immediately making me feel at ease again. I lulled it over in my head, thinking about how he always made me feel the warmest and safe inside, nothing I’ve ever felt with my previous boyfriends.
I locked eyes with him, listening to his steady heart beat that indicated no lying involved. I sighed defeatedly, “One chance. Mess this up, and you’re done.”
His eyes instantly lit up, grinning wide. He pulled me into a hug, absolutely beaming with happiness as he peckered kisses across my face, “I promise you won’t regret this, love.”
Oh god, what did I just get myself into?

Are u gonna write after tonight’s episode like u usually do? hope you focus on when link left but also after the hug thanks xx
Fragile
“Because I’m not an alcoholic, I’m not in recovery…” Link continued yelling but all Amelia could focus on was how much she wanted to slap him on his very perfectly symmetrical face. As if asking him if he was drunk at 9am was such a crazy idea when he started drinking at 12pm yesterday. It wasn’t like she was shaming him or telling him how uncomfortable it really made her, she was just worried about him, more than herself. Of course she’d noticed his little guitar drinking sessions. Whiskey had been lingering on his breath for the past week every time he crawled into bed. The slamming of the front door brought her back to reality. She went to put the Whiskey back on the shelf and realized it was gone.
“Auntie ‘mels, where’s uncle Link?” Amelia turned to find Ellis standing in the doorway to the backyard and she tried to hold back some of the tears that were forming in her eyes out of frustration. “He’s gone,” She replied, realizing she hadn’t retained where he said he was going. “But he’ll be back soon.” She tried to hide the uncertainty in her eyes. “You wanna come garden?”
“Yes!” Ellis squealed.
“Alright then,” Amelia laughed lightly for her nieces sake. “Not for too long though because Scout is going to wake up from his nap soon. You go pick the bulbs and I’ll be there in a second.”
“Maybe daffodils? Or tulips?”
“Surprise me.” Amelia gushed, brushing a strand of hair out of the excited girl’s face and smiling as she took off into the backyard. She went back to the dishes she was putting into the dishwasher before her and Link’s quarrel, knocking one of them off the counter as she abruptly turned and it clattered to the ground, shattering into a million pieces. “Damn it,” she cursed, momentarily wanting to throw another one at the wall.
“Amelia.” Maggie had entered the kitchen upon hearing the noise. “You okay?” She could see that her sister was on the verge of tears.
“I’m fine,” she replied coldly, pushing past Maggie as she tried to wrap her arms around her and stormed out into the backyard. “Don’t let the kids in the kitchen, I’ll clean it up when I’m done in the garden,” she called over her shoulder. Maggie sighed, picking up the ceramic shards, of what used to be her sister’s favourite plate, before sweeping up the rest of the mess. She wondered momentarily where Link had gone and wondered briefly if he had anything to do with Amelia's abruptness. Sometimes it shocked her how little she knew the man who was raising a baby, and taking care of all of Meredith's children, with Amelia. She had no suspicion of Link being abusive, and Amelia had never seemed happier...or exhausted, but if anyone could be taken advantage of, despite being such a strong minded person, it was her. Maggie hadn’t heard the extent of the awful things that Owen had said, but if anyone needed more confirmation that she was worthy of love, it was Amelia. As Maggie gazed out into the backyard to find Ellie sitting on her auntie's lap and giggling uncontrollably, she could practically feel her blood boiling.

Amelia spent the rest of the day doing what she did every day, cleaning, feeding and worrying. This time not only about Meredith, but about her boyfriend who drove off with a 2 6 practically full of hard alcohol without a word about where he was going.
“Bailey, leave your sister alone,” Amelia called from her spot on the lawn chair. Scout was nestled into her chest sleeping and she glanced at him worriedly to make sure he was still asleep. “Bailey, we do not pull hair!” Zola had been having a hard enough day with the heavy conversation they’d had earlier that afternoon, she didn’t need Bailey yanking on her pigtails in an attempt to distract her from studying.
“But I’m bored,” Bailey whined, drawing out the end of his sentence until Amelia wanted to cover her ears.
“Why don’t you go see what Ellis is doing?” Amelia offered, lowering her voice as Scout started to stir.
“Ellis is boring,” Bailey complained. If Amelia heard that word one more time she thought she might explode.
“We’re all bored, Bailey,” she sighed, trying to think of something her nephew could do. “Have you studied for your spelling test tomorrow?”
“Yeah.”
“So you’ll be getting ten out of ten like Zola?” She asked.
“No, ten out of ten is impossible for everyone other than Zola,” Bailey groaned.
“Okay, here’s my idea. If you can get eight out of ten, you can have an extra half hour of screen time tomorrow.”
“Really?” Bailey’s eyes lit up like a CT scan. “Wait, eight out of ten is still way too hard.” Amelia shrugged.
“Better get studying then.”
“Fine,” Bailey grumbled. “I’ll go study.” Amelia gave him a thumbs up and tried not roll her eyes as he trudged into the house. She glanced down at Scout who was pawning for her nipple and laughed lightly before moving her tank top to the side, wishing Link could be here to laugh at their adorable boy with her.
“Hey what’s up?” She yawned, sliding open her vibrating phone to reveal Maggie’s maskless face. “You on a break?”
“Yeah, managed to squeeze in lunch,” Maggie sighed, taking a bite of her sandwich. “It’s like the great depression over here.”
“Yikes.”
“Yeah, Winston and I are working on a case. It’s weird but we’re working well together.”
“That’s good,” Amelia grinned, feeling better about him after their breakfast together this morning. “He fits into Grey Sloan?”
“Yeah, looks great in the navy blue,” Maggie chuckled, her eyes darting to the door and momentarily lifting her mask to her face before setting it back down. “Have to find closets to eat in at this point,” she joked. “The cafeteria freaks me out.”
“I wouldn’t know,” Amelia shrugged, shifting Scout to the other side uncomfortably.
“Is Link back?” Maggie asked, watching her sister’s face darken.
“No,” she replied simply. “He’ll probably be soon though.”
“Are you guys okay?” Maggie blurted out. “Like are you okay?”
“Yeah, we’re fine,” Amelia replied defensively, stunned by the seriousness in Maggie’s voice.
“He’s been drinking a lot, Amelia, we all noticed it. That’s not fair to you and the plate--”
“Whoa,” Amelia interrupted her quickly. “Maggie, I’m in recovery but I’m good. I have a lot to be sober for right now so I’m...good.”
“Well, I’m happy you're so good,” Maggie replied, unconvincingly. “It doesn’t really seem respectful though. Just because you’ve been in recovery for awhile doesn’t mean anything. You can relapse after being sober for years. I’ve seen it with Richard, it’s a never ending cycle.”
“Yeah, exactly.” Amelia bit her lip, surprised by how easily Maggie seemed to understand.
“Like it’s not that I feel uncomfortable having a glass of wine around you. You’ve been to parties where everyone’s been wasted, it's just...I don’t feel comfortable leaving you with someone that’s using alcohol in the same way that you once did.”
“To turn off,” The worried sister confirmed.
“He’s getting drunk by himself in the garage, Amelia.”
“I know.” She hugged Scout tightly into her chest for support and the baby gurgled with happiness at the sudden affection from his mother.
“You guys made an amazing kid.”
“I know,” her response is teary as she glances down at the big blue eyes staring back up at her. “That’s the issue. Everything is so perfect when it comes to him, until it isn’t.”
“Meaning?” The anger in Maggie’s voice caused her to flinch.
“He’s not hitting me, Maggie,” she said softly in case the kids were eavesdropping. Her sister’s demeanour seemed to relax. “Did you honestly think that?”
“No, of course not. We all love Link. He’s perfect. I just feel like I barely know him. Like deeply, you know? He’s not an open book like you.”
“I know,” she sighed. “Sometimes I feel that way too. I have no idea where he is right now, Maggie. I’m worried,” her voice cracked almost unnoticeably.
“He’s a grown adult, Amelia,” Maggie answered with resentment. “He can at least take care of himself if he’s going to leave you alone with four kids for however long.” She glanced up at the door. “Look, I’ve got to go but I can come over tonight and we can talk.”
“It’s fine. Thanks for calling but just spend the night with Winston. You’ve been over enough.”
“Okay, but just text me if you need anything.” Her voice was muffled as she secured her mask and ended the FaceTime.

Amelia glanced at her phone for what seemed like the hundredth time that day as she tucked the last Shepherd kid into bed.
“Where's Uncle Link?” Eliis complained, disappointed by only receiving three stories from an exhausted Amelia.
“He’ll be back soon, bug,” Amelia promised. “You have an early zoom class tomorrow so we can only read three tonight, okay?”
“Uncle Link would read me five anyways,” she whined, tears brimming in her blue eyes.
“Come on, Ellie,” Amelia wanted to cry with her. “We had a big day.”
“I don’t want you, I want my mom. Why did you make my mom go away?” The stubborn girl complained, rubbing her puffy eyes with her fists.
“I didn’t, sweetheart. She’ll be back soon too,” she was too tired not to tell her otherwise tonight.
“Really?” Ellis asked with a small smile.
“Yep,” Amelia nodded, regretting it instantly. “Now go to bed and time will go by faster.”
“Okay,” her niece finally caved, snuggling into her polka dotted duvet. “Goodnight.”
“Goodnight,” Amelia sighed, turning off the lamp as she exited the room and breathing a sigh of relief, momentarily lingering with her back against the door.
“Hey, Link’s voice caused her to jump. “Sorry.” He handed her a steaming cup of green tea that she drank each night. What he didn’t know was that she’d been needing some sort of beverage nightly to distract her from wanting anything else.
“Thanks.” She wrapped her hands around the warm ceramic mug and tried to step away from the intoxicating smell of whiskey that he was exuding.
“Sorry it’s bad,” he apologized, running a tired hand through his hair. His eyes were rimmed with red and he looked as if he’d just staggered home from who knows where.
“Were you at a bar or...”
“I went to Deluca’s thing,” he answered messily. “With Jo, we went and it was nice. Did you--”
“Yeah, I watched most of it, you were day drinking with Jo?” It’s not that she didn’t trust them, she knew how much Jo meant to Link and she never wanted to come between that, but did she still feel the tiniest bit jealous? Absolutely.
“In her loft. They were tested like yesterday.”
“They?”
“Jackson was there too.”
“Ah,” she took a sip of the tea and closed her eyes momentarily.
“You look tired,” he observed and she almost laughed at him.
“Um, yeah. They’re all a lot for one person,” she replied, gesturing to the four shut doors in the hallway.
“Maggie and Winston left?” He scratched the back of his head with confusion.
“They had work today.”
“Oh...right.” They stood together awkwardly before Amelia turned towards their bedroom.
“You need to shower and brush your teeth. I need a good sleep,” she yawned, not offering an explanation for why him reeking of hard liquor would cause her another sleepless night, since he obviously hadn’t put two and two together. “Wait is that--” She shut their bedroom door and crawled into bed before he could finish.
[][][]
Link finally came to bed about a half hour later, slamming his shin against the bed frame as he stumbled into the dark room.
“Are you okay?” Amelia’s voice rang out in the darkness.
“Yeah, I’m fine,” he groaned, lowering himself cautiously onto the mattress and sliding under the covers. “Look, I’m sorry.”
“Thank you,” she rolled away from him tiredly, closing her eyes.
“If you don’t want me to keep liquor in the house I won’t,” he spoke clearly into the darkness.
“Link, I don’t need you to hide liquor or drinking from me,” Amelia sighed. “If anything, I feel more uncomfortable when you do it in secret.”
“I thought that would be better for you,” he responded truthfully.
“How would you know? You didn’t ask me.” Silence hung in the air and she debated going back to sleep.
“Amelia it’s hard.”
“It’s hard for everyone, Link. You don’t get to act like you’re the only one keeping secrets or walking on eggshells or losing people right now. People are grieving and dying. That doesn’t make what we’re experiencing any less hard. I’m going crazy. But I’m not diminishing how others are feeling by shoving my problems in their faces and comparing who has it worse. It’s not a competition.”
“Okay, did Jo tell you--”
“Jo didn’t tell me shit. I don’t have time to talk to Jo or make calls about where you are. I don’t have time to be worrying about where you are or if you’re safe while trying to keep an entire household of people together.”
“I should’ve been here today.”
“Yeah,” she tried to remove any hint of emotion in her voice. “I needed you.”
“I brushed my teeth and I used that plastic thing...that makes all the bubbles.”
“You used my loofah?” She tried to hide her amusement.
“Can you just come here?” He pleaded, opening his arms and allowing her burrow herself in his neck. “I thought I was doing the right thing.”
“I know,” she sighed. “Just no more lies or we won’t make it.” He nodded, holding her closely as her breathing deepened into his chest.

Not another rich girl | Ander Muñoz x reader
A/N: I’m actually motivated to write 2 imagines back to back? Who the fuck am I? Anyways, I know that this request included smut but I tried and it was just super cringe to me so I had to scratch that, but I hope that this imagine is still good! Oh and this is a long one bitches, so happy reading!
Request: hi! i love your writing! could u possibly write something smut with ander (being straight) ? like he goes out one night just to find a girl to have sex with, and the meets the reader and have sex with her and on the next day he finds out she’s the new girl frim his school. and the like fall in love and something like that
Warnings: mentions of sex, alcohol, swearing
Clutching both you and your friend’s drinks in both hands while also trying to keep your favourite clutch from falling onto the floor was not as easy as you thought it would be, not to mention with the crowds of people around you dancing and sucking each other’s faces off.
You gasp when someone bumps into you causing you to stumble, but before you could face plant in the middle of the dance floor, you feel a pair of hands catch you.
“Holy fuck!”
You hear a low voice chuckle, “I just saved your life.”
“Yeah thanks, I think my friend would have killed me if I showed up without their drink.”
You hear him chuckle once again and it literally sounds like music to your ears.
The two of you stand there for a moment in the middle of the dance floor, looking at one another before he awkwardly sticks his hand out for you to shake,
“Ander.”
you smile, before awkwardly motioning to the drinks still in your hands, “I would shake your hand but mine seem to be a bit full.”
You giggle as his cheeks redden at the realization.
“Here,” you take one of the drinks in your hands and place it in his outstretched one, “now, I can shake your hand.”
He smirks and shakes his head, almost in disbelief, but still shakes your hand,
“Beautiful and smart, I like that.”
“Hot and cocky, not sure if I like that.” you smirk,
“Would it change if I help you carry these drinks so your friend won’t kill you?”
You pretend to seriously think about the option even though you both knew that there was no way you would turn down his offer, “I’d reconsider it.”
Ander sarcastically rolls his eyes and lets you lead him through the crowded dance floor to a small table in the corner of the room where another girl impatiently sits, with her phone in her hands.
“Y/N c’mon that took you li-” You roll your eyes knowing what’s about to happen,
“Oh sorry, I didn’t realize that Y/N would bring something else back besides our drinks.”
You scoff and give Ander an apologetic look, “Y/F/N, chillax, he saved me from falling on my ass and helped me bring the drinks back.”
You practically forced the drink into their hands to stop them from saying anything else before turning to Ander once again, “Sorry, they’re a little drunk.”
He gives a sheepish smile, “Nah, don’t worry about it, I’m sure my friends wouldn’t have been much better if I showed up with you carrying our drinks to our table, too.”
Your eyes widened at the revelation, “Holy shit you’re here with people? Sorry, they must be worried about where you are!”
Ander gives another chuckle that makes your heart flutter, “Nah don’t worry about it, we come here often enough for me to know that they’re probably sucking each other’s faces off by now.”
Your face scrunches up into a face of pure disgust making Ander chuckle once again, “Only single one in the group?”
“Is that your way of asking me if I’m single?”
“Don’t flatter yourself pretty boy.”
“So you think I’m pretty?”
“I think you’re a boy.”
“Can you two find a bathroom to hook up in, already? The sexual tension between you two is killing me.”
The two of you turn to look at your friend, now with an empty glass in their hand, cheeks tinted red, drunkenly laughing at your facial expressions,
You’re about to give them another rhetorical response when they abruptly stand and walk past you, muttering about getting another drink.
“Well...they’re...”
“A bitch when drunk? Yes, yes they are.”
The two of you sit down at the now empty table, and the both of you fall into a comfortable silence as you look around the club, watching various drunk teens stumble around.
You’re entertained watching a group of teens around your age on the balcony, drunkenly laughing and grinding on one another when Ander drags you out of your thoughts,
“And that, is why I’m here with you.”
“What?”
“Those drunken bastards back there,” Ander points back to the group of friends that you were watching, “Are my friends.”
You burst out laughing much to Ander’s amusement,
“Sorry, it’s just that...they seem to be on a whole other level of drunk compared to everyone else in here.” You lift your arm, motioning to the others in the club to prove your point,
“No, I get it, like, don’t get me wrong, I’m down for getting drunk, but...”
“You don’t want to be grinding and making out with all of them.”
“That, and I’m the only single one in the group.”
“Ha! I knew it!”
“Yeah, yeah, doesn’t really help that they’re all dating each other too.”
Your faces scrunches up again, making Ander burst out laughing,
“C’mon then pretty boy, let’s go take shots to take your mind off of your horny friends.” You stand up and take his hand, dragging him out of his seat,
“You must really like my looks, don’t you?”
“Because of that, you’re paying.”
--------------------------------------
After an hour of shots and bottles of champagne (you didn’t bother questioning Ander’s strange mix of alcohol), you and Ander were left laughing and stumbling through the streets after sending your friend home in a taxi.
Ander led you through streets and alleyways until the two of you were standing at a lookout point, at the edge of town,
The two of you stand there for a moment in silence, hand in hand, looking at the view, until you break the silence,
“If we spent this whole night flirting just for you to kill me, I’ll be super pissed.”
Ander chuckles for what feels like the hundredth time that night, making the butterflies in your stomach flutter,
“How would you even be pissed at me if you’re dead?”
“I have my ways.”
Another comfortable silence engulfed the two of you before you broke it once again,
“I wish this moment lasted forever.”
“Well it would if you could keep quiet for more than 30 seconds.”
You pout causing a wide smile to spread on Ander’s face while he pinches your cheeks.
“Anyways, tell me why you want this moment to last forever.”
You sigh, turning away from the boy to face the beautiful view,
“My dad just got a huge promotion and apparently I’m not good enough for a regular public school now, so he’s sending me to some fancy, rich kid school.”
Ander smiled, wrapping his arm around you,
“C’mon it probably won’t be that bad.”
“There’ll probably be a lot of people acting like your friends, there.”
“Is that a good thing or a bad thing?”
“You tell me.”
“Touché.”
Maybe it’s the alcohol still coursing throughout both of your veins, or the butterflies still fluttering in your stomach but the next thing you know, Ander’s lips are on yours, your hands are on his face, tracing his jawline and his hands are drawing circles on your hips.
The two of you move in sync, hands travelling down the others’ body, trying to get as much as you could of the other before either of you could change your minds.
Ander slowly pulls back, letting you both catch your breath before silently leading you down a set of stairs to an abandoned couch.
“This totally isn’t sketchy at all.”
Ander turns to you, eyes sparkling, “Do you trust me?”
You smile and close the gap between the two of you once again, letting your lips connect, “Of course I do.”
“Good.”
-------------------------
You wake up to the sound of birds chirping and a bright light shining on your face, at first you just groaned and rolled over but when you bumped into a hard chest, your eyes widened in realization and you had to cover your mouth quickly to stop yourself from screaming.
You sit up and quickly scramble for your phone, sighing in relief when you find it on the ground with your abandoned clutch and heels. Turning it on, you gasp when you see the time, 5:00 am.
You had exactly 3 hours to find a cab, explain to your parents why you were still in your dress from the night before, sit through their boring lecture about being responsible, change into your new uniform, and run out the door.
You sigh and pick up your shoes, making sure you had all of your things before a new realization dawned on you...Ander.
Sweet, charming, Ander, who was still sleeping peacefully on the couch, oblivious to your leaving.
You walk over to him, running a hand through your hair before giving him a gentle kiss on his forehead.
May we meet again, sweet Ander.
Giving the sleeping boy one last look, you turn around, and walk away.
-----------------------------
Ander grumbled as he walked into the full classroom.
“Did someone not get enough sleep last night?”
Ander shot a smiling Guzmán a glare before sitting down at his usual table.
“I saw you with that hot girl last night.” Guzmán sang once again, wiggling his eyebrows.
Ander let out a groan, trying to ignore Guzmán’s childish gaze.
“I mean, where did you even go? Your mom called and I had to tell her that you were sleeping at my house.”
“Drop it Guzmán.”
Guzmán‘s smile dropped as he scooted closer towards his best friend, a concerned look adorning his face upon noticing the anger and sadness laced in Ander’s voice,
“Ander, I know you’re not okay, what the fuck happened?”
“She fucking left me, okay? She left this morning without a word.”
“Ander...”
“I’m fine Guzmán, seriously it happens, I just- I thought that she was different.”
Before the boy could respond, the two hear the voice of Ander’s mom interrupt their conversation,
“Attention all of you, we have a new student today and I hope that you all give her a warm welcome.”
Ander groans, “Jesus Christ, not another rich girl.”
But his heart stops when a familiar pair of eyes are looking back at him, from the front of the room.
“Now everyone, this is Y/N L/N, would you please have a seat next to Ander, over there?”
He watches in shock as you give a slight nod and smile to his mother and slowly make your way towards him.
“Hi...” you awkwardly mutter as you sit down in the empty chair beside him.
His jaw clenches but he doesn’t say a word, instead trying to ignore your pleading look and Guzmán’s confused one.
But after about 15 minutes of silence, he couldn’t take it anymore,
“Why did you leave without saying goodbye?” he whispers, so only you could hear,
Out of the corner of his eye, he sees you gulp and hesitantly turn towards him,
“I didn’t know what to say...hey I got to go home and get ready for my first day at the best school in the fucking country that apparently you go to, too?”
Ander couldn’t hold back the chuckle that escaped him and gently nudged your shoulder with his,
“Hey, now you can go to the club with the horny bastards and I.”
He laughed as you made the scrunched up face of disgust that made his heart beat ten times faster.
“Jesus Christ, do I have to?”
