#seriously tho we need at least 5 more seasons

Lawson did have a strong race, but just like how a lot of luck for Yuki managed to get him a Haul of points at the beginning of the season, it was no different for Liam today.
Liam had a fresh engine, and he also gained 5 places due to the first lap incident. He also gained a place due to Lewis's dnf. We also know that only 1 driver has a good race while the other is left to fight for themselves. Today, Liam had the strategy that worked in his favor.
He also was losing pace at the end while Franco was flying. Had they pitted Franco with Liam, it might have been a different story. Liam would have probably ended up p10, and if they didn't frantically call KMag to pit, it would have been p12.
But at the same time, he also kept it clean while so many others couldn't.
The guy can drive, and he can drive well, but he's also not going to be an ideal candidate to drive besides Max. Quite frankly, neither is Yuki.
If they want to replace Max, then sure get in the Liams or the Oscar's (Oscar clears Liam though, Oscar pre-f1 cv is worlds better) Their flames would either burn out or they'd burn the team.
But if they're replacing Perez, then they need a team player.
If they were a serious team, they'd have tested all 4 drivers this year in the Red Bull, same conditions, same day.
I said this when Yukis fans were thrilled Daniel was leaving, Yuki is going to be their tester now. He's going to be expected to work with whatever they throw at him, the Daniel special,if I may call it that.
I do not think they're going to give them a fair chance because the team cannot seem to handle two cars.
CoTa and Mexico is also where the team has previously done well.
But I also think red bull have bigger problems than Yuki , Liam (and even Daniel) at this point.
Ferrari just need to score 9 points more next race to overtake them.
I'm sorry this is long, I really enjoy your takes and wondered what you might think about all this.
At the end of the day, it’s all about making the most of the circumstances in a race and Liam did just that. It was a successful first race for him and we can’t deny that.
The thing is all three of them — Yuki, Daniel and Liam — deserve a chance at the red bull seat. Yuki, for having on paper beat Daniel even tho the spin of today sort of makes it clear why he’s never been seriously considered for it. We all know the reasons why Daniel should have at least had a chance at the red bull seat — he’s a known quantity, he can handle the car the way max likes it, he’s a sure pair of hands under pressure, he clearly has a higher ceiling of performance than Yuki and more importantly, he was given an ultimatum before the summer break and he rose to the challenge. Liam, yeah he probably didn’t have a strong junior career but then so did Daniel. He’s clearly an adaptable and ballsy driver and deserves to be in formula one and so deserves to fight for a top seat.
The only person who doesn’t deserve being here is checo. He shouldn’t have been here from the beginning of the year and yet, he has his seat indefinitely secured. If Red bull truly cared about the longevity of their driver succession order, they would have put Daniel into that seat and give him that final chance to show whether he still had it or not. It would have given Lawson the chance to properly settle in at vcarb which would mean that hadjar also gets the time to be ready. We all know the logical way all of this would have been resolved but yet here we are ..

evil version of that previous anon: and what were your LEAST favorite parts of each of those seasons?
sorry i got to this so late! buuut
total drama
season 1: leshawna's elimination. just... utter bullshit. closely followed by geoff's. also utter bullshit. in fact heather's whole plot armor was meh
season 2: sorry guys but courtney's entire arc. i can't stand her in TDA. she's meh to okay at best in TDI and fine until the gwuncan stuff in TDWT, after that i just can't even. she's so annoying sorry <//3
season 3: EZEKIEL'S MUTANT ARC COME ONNN MY MAN DESERVES BETTER LET HIM BE HAPPY FUCK YOU
season 4: the all-men finale. we should've gotten a zoey vs cameron finale. boo
season 5: the fact that it exists. i have so many problems with it, it's hard to narrow it down to just one single part i hated most, but there is one! i hated how every character was dumbed down. heather just telling alejandro she had the idol. alejandro just telling mal he had proof he was evil. many eliminations. the fact that the final five was... well, that. but most, i hated mal's arc and how mike was 'cured' of DID by pressing a button. i won't speak much on it since it's nowhere near my expertise nor business as a singlet but i would imagine that is. not how it fucking works. at all and just such a sad sterotyped thing to add an eViL alter to the poor guy just to give him more substance. plus i've discussed this with a mutual before but mal just feels like max taken seriously by the narrative. yeah i hate this season there's a reason it gets trampled in my fic
season 6: there was so much potential for max to be a hero and stand up to scarlett. like. so much. i love him he deserved better. that's not the worst tho and if you're new here let me tell you I FUCKING HATE DAVE. OKAY. i have a BIG issue with that guy which is half because he reminds me of some asshole i know irl and half because he just fucking sucks. i don't get any dave ship, any dave love, anything at all. there is nothing to like about him. he is genuinely one of the very few total drama characters that i can't even make up the substance he lacks. just. fuck dave
season 7 (RR): the daters and best friends fell so flat for me in different ways. the daters were just so annoying and i couldn't have been happier at their elimination. the best friends just felt so forced to me. i mean i'm also a romance-repulsed(-ish, not always, it's complicated) aromantic but oh my goddd... they dragged on for sooo loooongggggggg
season 8: the jurasic fart episode. also how chase treated emma. again fuck these allos /j
season 9: PRILEB. OKAY LISTEN. i fucking LOVE prileb BUT i also fucking HATEEE them. they could've been so good if priya was just eliminated earlier. caleb could've had more to him than priya's misunderstood boyfriend, he could've made alliances and friends, but noooo just give him an entire miscommunication arc FUCK YOU yeah prileb could've been so good if it was good (total drama catchphrase)
disventure camp
season 1: fiore's betrayal to alec felt like terrible writing to me and i'll still stand by that. a character like fiore needs more than one side and alec was that other, softer, caring side. and they threw it all away for shock value! <//3 i really hope these two make up :( i miss them so much. oh also the downfall of tomjake like what the fuck happened oh my
season 2: some challenges were... creepy and weird to say the least. spin the wheel to see who to kiss? my aro ass could never. and when kristal indirectly outed aiden during the dares challenge? like, this yo host? trevor would never <3
season 3: whatever the fuck riya and connor, as well as tom and jake, as well as ally and hunter, as well as- FUCK IT WHATEVER THE FUCK THE COUPLES HAVE GOING ON. YES ALL OF THEM EXcept gabellie. keep going my loves you're doing great

Season 3 Wrap-Up
Let’s skip the boring part. We know the routine by now, and I have a lotttt to say this time around. Thoughts on Talitha Cumi and S3 below the cut.
Talitha Cumi
My least favorite season finale so far, if I’m honest. It’s not that the stakes weren’t high enough, it’s that I was confused for a lot of this episode. I, like Mulder, have precious little patience for Cancer Man and his musings, and there were a LOT of musings in this episode. I’m going to have to read the Wikipedia plot summary for this one. Also, not enough Scully.
Season 3
My favorite season so far. I know, I know “Thanx, you’ve said that every season!” If you’ll recall, I was on the fence about season 2 being better than season 1 (Pilot my beloved) because I feared recency bias. But I feel very strongly that S3 beats out both S1 and S2 pretty handily, recency notwithstanding. Why? Because it’s fun, in a way. The first handful of episodes are less so, but as the season finds a rhythm, there are these brilliant little character moments. Skinner gains a lot of depth this season, for example, but he also has some killer one-liners that tell us he is playing this game for better or for worse.
And as for Mulder and Scully? If there is one thing these two will do, it’s talk on the phone. Those were some of my favorite details this season. The classic “it’s me,” but also the way they can’t stay off the phone in Coprophages. The way Mulder knows Scully will stay on the line to eavesdrop in Avatar. Mulder, our “ticking time-bomb of insanity” starts to show his Captain Ahab side more (hello, Grotesque???). And Scully gets to call him on it! More importantly, the moment I’ve been waiting for: they finally let Scully be so so Catholic.
This season just went crazy, I don’t know what to tell you. There are some seriously unhinged episode progressions — and I’m not even talking about the two-parters. Coprophages to Syzygy to Grotesque (just two eps before Pusher)? Quagmire to Wetwired? Stop it.
5 fave eps (now with more musing!):
Revelations - I told y’all I wanted more Catholic Scully, and this episode really delivered. I love that our skeptic is religious, however remotely. I love Scully. I love that there is this part of her which the X-Files never seem to touch — until they do.
War of the Coprophages - The way they can’t stay off the phone with each other. The way Fox Mulder just HAPPENS to be in the cockroach town during the cockroach uprising. The bug that crawls across the screen. The way Mulder is eating chocolate cake while writing his report about how he narrowly escaped an exploding shit lab. The inexplicably exotic bug he squishes without hesitation.
Pusher - Fuck all the way off. The paper that just says “Pass.” “Smile, Scully.” Russian roulette. Russian roulette!!! I don’t need to tell you all about this. You already know. Plus, there’s this deeply unwell post I already made.
Jose Chung from Outer Space - I also already posted about this one, but the TL;DR is that this sitcom fanatic loves a frame story and a series of Events Which Probably Didn’t Happen Like That.
Quagmire - I KNOW I KNOW it was between this and Wetwired. But when it comes down to it, the Captain Ahab conversation is just too fucking good. Also, I feel I should honor the memory of Queequeg, who deserved better.
5 least fave eps:
The Blessing Way - It’s not that it’s a bad ep, it’s just not for me. I’ve never been much for the metaphysical “between life and death” thing where you talk to your dead dad and he tells you to keep living. This is because my heart is made of rocks.
The List - I’ve come to the conclusion that I just don’t like prison eps.
Piper Maru & Apocrypha - I just got lost. Glad to see Krycek again tho!
Talitha Cumi - See above.
Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to buckle my seatbelt for the [REDACTED] [REDACTED] arc. Maybe I’ll also rewatch the pilot just for kicks.

Ok I need to know for sure when you say 'uncomfortable designs' in arc 5 you mean liliana right because... oh god liliana.... my beloathed
GOD YEEAH i didnt want to go into details bc anon asked for no specific spoilers. i really really really fucking despise liliana's design its just disgusting to look at. like the whole "looks 12 at 23" thing is already sketch but did they have to dress her like... That. its why i said before i was skeptical of if id watch season 3 but, since i already know what happens i can just skip some scenes for the sake of my own sanity. reading it was different because i wasnt forced to Look At It. i dont even dislike liliana as a character its just her design literally can we just give her some solid clothes?
THE THING IS THOUGH i was also talking abt capella (no relation). but the whole deal w her is a little different because its sort of part of the Point w her design?
like she also has the scantily clad "legal loli" shit going on except... the text actually describes it as being disgusting and perverse. its literally intentionally meant to be gross. shes the sin archbishop of LUST and shes supposed to depict the worse aspects of it. like everything about her is meant to be off-putting and uncomfortable. in isolation i actually think this is a really interesting concept, especially for a story whose whole PURPOSE is to deconstruct these typical isekai/harem anime tropes. making a character like her a perversion meant to illicit disgust, especially as a representation of the worst of lust, like.. it makes sense. its interesting.
EXCEPT IT ALL GETS RUINED BY THE FACT THAT LILIANA EXISTS????
you literally cannot have your cake and eat it too here like are you trying to deconstruct the trope or are you just playing it straight? are you trying to say something or are you not really taking it that seriously? every potentially interesting idea going on w capella sort of gets destroyed because liliana is introduced in the same arc. maybe it was somesort of intentional foil being set up, but whats even the difference? just that liliana is a good guy? that shes innocent on the inside too or something? i dont know. i think its botched if so and i dont really stand by that as a strong theme.
like. i love a lot of the stuff in rezero i think its a really well written story with complex characters and a lot of incredible themes but also like i literally cant overlook shit like liliana's design. and i honestly completely understand why people would want to avoid the series when it comes to shit like that, like, i get it. i dislike seeing it too LOL.
well, at least they redesigned felt. no more censer bar crop top in s3 thank god. i will miss her red scarf tho. brought out her eyes
#all that being said the designs are made by a different person than the writer so maybe its an oversight#i dont really remember if she was described as scantily clad in the ln. young looking yes but i dont think that her outfit was really#delved into#probably to leave room /for/ the design to be made later on#but i dont know enough about the process behind the scenes to make statements on that so thats why this is all tagtalk

LANDO NORRIS TRANSFER PROS AND CONS
Below I've written the pros and cons of Lando Norris moving to different teams vs staying at McLaren. These are my opinions, not fact. Please don't hurt me :)
Stay at McLaren
Pros
Keep 20 mil a year
Knows team well, been there 5 years
Familiar with the controls n shit
Secure in first drivers seat
They have the ability to give him podiums
Cons
Their car may be fast now, but it likely won't beat red bull next year OR this year
Haven’t given him a race win yet
They aren't consistent in where the car stands. A top 3 team could provide a sense of security (except for ferrari).
Oscar is really, really good. Come a few years (after watching Silverstone, maybe sooner) and there could be some tight battles. If their car isn't 100% secure as the fastest car on the grid and there's inter-team fights (on the track, I think they'll still get along fine), there's a high chance they'll lose spots in the WDC to teams with an obvious 1st driver and support driver. And Oscar deserves to be 1st seat driver with his skills! But Lando would never back down from that fight. Could turn into a brocedes 2.0 type incident.
Move to Red Bull
Pros
They're properly interested in signing him
May be able to give him good pay/incentive
Horner has said he likes Lando/is impressed by him
He’s good friends with Max
We know Max isn't interested in going for tons of titles, Lando could become 1st seat pretty quick
Proper shot at WDC if he waits for Max to cool down
Cons
2026 could see the end of red bull dominance
He could strain his friendship with Max
He doesn't have the deep relationship with the team
No more McLaren Unboxed :( Red bull's pr department is boring :(((
I was really fucking hoping Yuki would get that seat. I need to witness a Max and Yuki race on track in the same cars, pretty please. pretty pretty please.
Move to Mercedes
Pros
He could probably usurp first seat (don't kill me for saying this)
Proper shot at WDC
Lando in sexy silver car & sexy black race suit
McLaren in Mercedes affiliated. A Lando to Merc move wouldn’t be outlandish
It's my favourite possible move. Just imagine lewdo teammates or george & lando teammates. silverstone would be fuoco.
Cons
They wouldn’t be able to afford both Lando and Lewis and would probably either pay him less and keep Lewis or pay him more and replace Lewis. Tho Lewis might be going to Ferrari??? For some reason???? Truly is silly season
Could strain George & Lando’s friendship
Move to Ferrari
Pros
He’d get podiums sometimes maybe
Cons
Least probable move
He'd become cripplingly depressed
I'd have to join my family in being a Ferrari fan, something I've sworn against. I refuse to be a stereotypical Italian and this would force me
To note: Lando would likely only move to a top three team, unless he suddenly sucks and no one wants him (could never happen). I don’t think we’ll see him moving anywhere where his contract would be less than 10 mil either, but idk. This is my interpretation, heavily biased and whatnot. Do not take it too seriously.

it’s done! it’s finally done! -- bridgerton 2.08 review
The end of the road finally! I will link all the previous reviews at the end.
1. I like how dramatic Kate lying on the ground in the rain is as if they would ever kill her.
2. If she’s unconscious she wouldn’t be able to hold onto him
like jesus christ, even Elena’s arms hang
3. wet mouse
4. Lol Edwina standing there crying. KATE GOT HURT SO ALL IS FORGIVEN. LIFE IS SHORT.
5. But this is the kind of person I am
6.
I can’t take any of this seriously.
7. It’s too late for this, Anthony.
8. So I’m guessing it’s going to be one of those things where they vow to stay away from each other because their love causes SO MUCH DESTRUCTION AND PAIN and then Edwina is going to be like BE TOGETHER, YOU LOVE EACH OTHER and so because she’s 100% OK with it, they’ll ride off into the sunset.
9. SO MANY LILACS. THE COLOUR OF FIRST LOVE.
10. Colin is such a nothing character.
11. Guys, he’s upset because he thinks he nearly killed her with his penis.
12. Is she going to wake up because Edwina’s speaking to her?
13. Yes.
14. Honestly, it feels like Kate works at trying to do any kind of expression.
15. Why is Eloise looking for Whistledown such a long plot line? Like why does it matter? Is it just because it’s Penelope? This shouldn’t take so long.
16. Oh how I don’t care about Theo and Eloise.
17.
When did she try tho? She just said one thing about her happiness meaning everything to her and talked about proving that. She didn’t TRY anything.
18. OK so when Edwina asks if there was always something between Kate and the viscount, Kate is like I was lying to myself but she truly didn’t know there was something until it was too late. I mean ... it’s not like there was this ONE incident
and nothing else but like lingering gazes, there was this moment
and then there was this moment
and then there was this moment
and then there was this moment
and then mans proposed and then it was too late. You and Anthony were doing a LOT before it was “too late”, Kate and her being like “I was lying to myself not you” is a bullshit explanation just like this
because like anon, said there’s literally no reason we’re given why Kate would feel the need to deny these feelings or feel the need to lie to herself, what happened in her life that she felt it was necessary to do this? Saying because Edwina had her eye on him is not enough because as we’ve discussed if she really had Edwina’s interests in mind then she should’ve/would’ve been honest or at least try and make Anthony look undesirable or pest another suitor to be persistent in trying to get Edwina’s affections but she just let’s everything happen and you can’t be that passive while also being framed as an active character because the whole situation gives off
19. Edwina tells Kate that she doesn’t feel like she knows her and that Kate doesn’t know herself and Kate’s just like mmhmm yep, accurate *smiles*
20. Like if someone tells me the whole point is that they’re playing roles because of London society which makes them out of touch with what they truly want, they didn’t grow up in London society and their mother said she had her daughters grow up free and to not be preoccupied with class or station so this whole thing is poorly written.
21. And if this is what it’s really about
then that should’ve been way more present from the beginning, that requires an interiority from Kate that we were never given. Theon is constantly told he’s lucky to be at Winterfell, maybe not by Ned, but there are various things that happen in season 1 (and season 2) that show that he’s cared for but also show that he’s not really a Stark. The point is that Edwina and their mother don’t treat Kate differently but we should’ve seen things besides a pointed dinner and one offhand remark in the first episode that indicate that Kate feels beholden to this family and maybe a bit of a fear that if she told them what was going on between her and Anthony she’d get cast out of the family.
22. uh oh, she knows. DRAMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
23. Sarcasm.
24.
Was he? Like ... was he?
25. Oh great, their second dance.
26. Again the music is great, it’s just everything else that’s not.
27. He carries
28. I mean, is that the worst thing that happened?
29. Oh a spin kiss. Hurrah.
30. Should’ve become about Edwina. Lol.
31. It’s over. Thank god.

Vivienne said in a video at some point this month that she hopes to make Hazbin Hotel run as long as her favorite series BoJack Horseman, which went for 6 seasons. In the event that the series does manage a 6-season run, and assuming Amazon Prime doesn't do anything to screw the show over, how do you see the 5 remaining seasons playing out?
Also, I know I'm a little late saying this but I'm sorry for the hardships you faced in the past week, I hope you're doing well.
Hello my friend!
No worries about my R/L shit. Power back on and fridge restock. I just couldn't use my computer aka tumblr last week. Pay still F'ed up and that, unfortunately will be a battle. As far as the assault/attempted carjack (They weren't trying to steal it as to steal it, but to get away from their drug related bad trip situation) while working, I was relatively unharmed, just really shaken up. Because, like, I was just doing my job, working, and trying to help someone who came to me for help-and looked like they needed help. Only to attack me 1.5 seconds later.
Anyways, Bojack. Is such a great show. I haven't rewatched it in over a year or two because it does put me in a bad headspace occasionally. But the show is brilliant. Like, seriously a show about anthropomorphic characters, it really dives deeps in human emotions.
Its difficult to say what would happen. Because, as far as I know, Viv isn't greenlighted ahead of time for those extra seasons. So, she is force to semi wrap stories and arcs while leaving it open to continue,. Or she make a wager, write a story that stretch season, hope she get greenlighted for more season to finish it and not the dreaded indefinite cliffhanger.
I speculate that season two will sow the seeds of Roo lore and her ambitions. But I don't think Roo really part of season two except the "cliffhanger" part like Lute and Lilith ending of season 1. Everything will be semi tied off then we be thrown the twist of Roo role. The clues planted earlier but still hidden/subtle.
But, if we had the 6 seasons ahead of time, I think Roo would be simultaneously slowly build up yet at the same time very relevant yet hidden that would stretch a few seasons.
I don't think it will be touched upon at all if its season by season, but given a chance to know how many season upfront, POSSIBLY Charlie reworking Hell structure of power...aka Soul contracts. I doubt Charlie wants to continuation of power imbalance among sinners, and most lost their own free will.
While soul contract originally may emerge from more "noble" beginnings. Of A stronger sinner providing protective service in exchange of servitude...the practice obviously got abused and corrupted over time. So, Viv may touch upon that in a final season to make Hell...more tolerable. The idea of Charlie wanting Hell to be fair and peaceful etc is funny as Hell meant to be eternal punishment for Sinners wrongdoings. Obviously its not going to be Heaven but she also wants it to be like not a Hellhole.
Tho, Hell is near heavenly (minus some consequences) for people like Alastor who thrived in this environment. His hunger of flesh and thrill of bloodshed he won't be able be able to do freely anywhere else.
More season we would get more flushed out backstories. Episode that dedicated to it. A few for the more popular ones, Alastor and Angel. At least one for others like Husker and Sir Pentious. Maybe a few reference flashbacks and a full episode about Vox and Alastor. A glimpse of life in Heaven as a exorcist from Vaggie. Multiple episode about the beginning of humanity. Adam, Lilith, Eve, Lucifer in Eden and The Fall. Possibly Roo and GoOD lore episode. Everything would be fleshed out and along with that, much more character growth.
But unfortunately we would get compressed versions, if we only get 8 -20-25 minute episode a season, of how many season is played by ear.
For Example , if we get 6 season, Nifty would probably have her own backstory episode, and how she met Alastor etc...
What we will actually get with this play by ear is...casually mentions from Nifty commentary to the others that we have to piece together.
For example we met a new sinner! Nifty comments how the sinner "reminds me of my husband before I stabbed him 17 times." *cues derange cackle from her and rubs her hands together gleefully* "I wonder if he'll do the same silly spaism and funny wheezy noises" *Nifty said as she looks at the increasingly uncomfortable sinner like its a new toy for her to break*
So, unfortunately, I think we will get random derange commentary from Nifty that will be dismissed easily as its not really part of the story. But it feeds us little info about her. We find out she was married, and the reason she in Hell because she murdered him. Etc.
I think if Nifty said something similar in the show, everyone but Alastor would look at her disturbed and Angle crying out. "Wait! You were married? How old are ya? I thought you barely older than a child!" Nifty naturally just laughs and does not disclosed her ages (its unlady like after all, especially of her era)
I'm not sure if we get Sinner Adam currently, but I think if more season was greenlighted ahead of time, Sinner Adam would make the cut into the show. Which would be fun concept to explore. Especially once Lute finds out and she has to deal with deep complex emotions as she force to reevaluate her stance about the abominations and scums she once thought of sinners.
I think we would definitely get to see more powerful higher up Angels such as Michael, Etc. Either being strictly opposing our main characters, or started opposing but end up working together. Which would also probably bring up Lucifer past and his relationships with his siblings.
Tldr, in short, I think everything would just be flushed out more. More lore about Roo and Go(o)d, Eden, the fall, "the uprising", the beginning of the extermitions, and current negotiations of extermations and consequences of retaliation (defending)
As well everyone backstory will be viewed instead of mention. More satisfying character growth (or descend/villainary)
Possibly a new threat that Heaven, Hell (possibly human/Earth/Living...( D.O.R.K.S?) have to collab for survival. Thus, creating peace/truce when it defeated.

Fire Emblem: Engage review
So I’ve played Fire Emblem engage for over 30 hours and it took me around 4 to 4 weekends to finish it. But it is done and that means it is time for my usual game review. I try to make it short this time tho.
1. The pacing of the game starts out really good, but the Paralouges and the training opportunities in the second half of the game make the pacing slow down quite a bit. The Paralouges and the Skirmishes are optional, so you can just rush through the story if you want to, but it gives you a big disadvantage to not at least do the Paralouges, so I would recommend doing them despite the pacing-issue.
2. The weapon-weakness-wheel is very strong in at the beginning of the game and makes it almost impossible to focus on anything else than fighting in battles (while in all other Fire Emblem games I played so far, I could still focus on pairing up characters or training the weaker ones) and really needs you to think about who to attack next or who you shouldn’t stand too close too, because your enemies use your weak points. However, if you use your cards right, at the later parts of the game neither you, nor the enemie really have anymore weak spots and you can fight skirmishes on Auto-Battle without much trouble.
3. The Final boss and the final battles as well as the final map was one of the most boring final battles I ever had in a game. Any map until then was more challenging then the map from the final and there were certainly much stronger, harder bosses in the game then the actual final and final-final boss.
4. There is almost no advantage in ranking up your character's support-levels. The Rank-Up-Events are quite boring most of the time and the A-Rank is hardly anything special and at the end of the game, post credits, the game doesn’t even give you any connection between the characters that have A-Rank-Support. Heck, there wasn’t even really any connection between Alear the main character and my chosen bond-ring receiver, Alfred. Its like the love-confession Alear got after she gave Alfred the bonding-ring only served the purpose of making Alfreds life longer.
5. Seriously, no one actually gets ENGAGED in this game. Every character goes back to where they belong in the end. Not seldom vanish at some point of their story, without you having any chance to prevent that, by giving them an A-Support with someone. There was (aside from the event with the bond-ring) no romance in this game whatsoever. So it was pretty disappointing.
6. Why do only staffs break? I am glad weapons and toms don’t break any longer but why do healing-stuffs still break? Where is the logic behind that?
7. You NEVER have enough money in this game.
8. The class-system is kind of boring, especially compared to the one from 3 houses. You basically go from prince to king and then you are stuck going back to level 1 for some reason, so that you can get stronger. This whole system was stupid as fu**.
9. Alear isn’t exactly one of those protagonists you will remember well - aside from her/his hair-color, that is ^^’
10. The characters were all in all nice and likeable, but not many really stand out, despite the game trying hard to make some of them stand out, by making them as unique and human as possible.
11. Soundtrack was alright. Tho I really didn’t like the opening song.
12. It was nice to see some of the old characters from other games but most of them I didn’t know, because I never played there games. Aside from Lucina, Corrin, Celica and Byleth I only knew Marth and Ike and not from their respective games but only from Smash Brothers (and Marth being mentioned in Awakening of course) and the rest was a bunch of nice (or weird xD) Strangers to me. I also would have preferred Chrom instead of Lucina (tho we are taking care of that in wave 3 of the Season pass) and I would have liked female Byleth or both versions of Byleth, but... oh well... *shrugs shoulders*
13. The season pass seemed like a waste of money at first, but saved my ass at a certain point of the game.
14. I saw a big part of the plot of the game already coming. But there were a few surprises here and there.
15. The plot has some holes that should have been filled.
16. The game was all in all a medicore good game.
17. You can NOT compare it with 3 houses but if you had to, your will very likely say how much better 3 houses was
18. There is literally no reason to replay this game at all aside from trying a harder difficulty. If you are done, you are done. The story is not interesting enough to play it twice. The are no alternative routes or endings to reach. No relationship endings that are worth working towards.... if you think about the fact that FE:3H had all those reasons to replay it and yet both games sold at the same price, it makes you wonder if buying Engage at full price was really worth it.
I give the game 8 out of 10 points. It wasn’t a bad game or so. It was fun playing, especially the first half of the game. And there are not many complaints I have in this game aside from the ending, the missing romance and the final battle. It was all in all, as I said a good game, medicore good, but good.

Second rewatch of the Timeless done... can finally form complete sentences...
Before I begin, this is my blog which means it’s filled with my perspectives and opinions. So there’s that... Second note- my cat is being super lovey right now so if there are typos it'll be in large part because her paws or butt hit the keyboard... anyway on to my venting session:
Firstly, THAT FINALE WAS A PRIME EXAMPLE OF HOW A SHOW SHOULD FINALE! Every. Single. Thing. was ON POINT!
Harriet Tubman was an absolute gem. I literally have never heard half of the story they told on her, and I feel so happy that I learned more about this amazing woman. The second half, although not focusing on a historical figure, really highlighted the mistreatment of the Chinese and was extremely interesting. These writers know how to tell a story!
On to the good parts...the characters!
-Lyatt:
These babies have been slaughtering my feels since the pilot episode. There is so much chemistry between Matt and Abigail it’s almost painful. Like seriously. They just stand in the same room and its fire. Now. Wyatt has been battling a hard impossible situation since Hollywoodland. Honestly y'all. We learned Jessica was not only his wife, that he grieved for for six years, but also his high school sweetheart. That is a long history for any couple, even a couple whose relationship is as toxic as theirs, which makes the whole “he should've just broken up with her” argument so invalid. His decisions do not mean he doesn't love Lucy, nor does it mean that he's “too little too late”. Lucy got hurt. That much was unavoidable, but does that mean theres no going forward. HELL NO. If anything that pain will create a stronger bond, because almost losing Lucy for good is a hell of a motivator for Wyatt to do some hardcore groveling. But is she open to it?
That hug! That beautiful, glorious, and emotional supportive hug speaks soooooo much more than words. Her face when Wyatt FINALLY drops those three big words we've been begging him to say... and umm hello! Future Lyatt! Yea... I'm pretty positive she's more than open to some groveling from Wyatt and some amazing times with Wyatt.
People seem to be so hung up on Wyatt being jealous and possessive, which apparently is a bigger sin than actively trying to harm/kill, but lets think about this for a second. Wyatt is a man. And sorry, but men are not known for handling intense emotions particularly well. He's so torn between what he should do and what he wants, finding out his wife isn’t what he remembers is his wife, and is confronted with the reality that his relationship with Lucy is basically changed dramatically. Thats a hell of a lot for anyone to handle. So yea, does he lash out in ways that seem abhorrent? Obviously. Is it right? Hell no. Is it something that should cause us to pick up our torches and pitchforks? Well thats up to you, but honestly in the grand scheme of the show? No.
I’m hoping like all hell that we get a season 3 because after all this angst I am so ready to see some smooth sailing.
-Flynn:
Let’s not get it twisted. I do really love Flynn. I like the dynamic he brings to the show. I love how his character plays with the others. He’s a great addition to this season. However, no I don’t play into the idea of romantic g*rcy. Platonically speaking, it’s great. They both understand each other because of shared loss and can be someone the other can turn to. But I both don’t see it romantic, and hope like hell it never becomes romantic because:
-He literally put his hands around her throat and choked her! Threw her around like a rag doll. Held her at gunpoint. Shot at her. Kidnapped her. Etc,
Many people excuse this away because “he had his reasons” or “but he didn't actually kill her”. Ya no... sorry not ok. Ever. Reasons being he was grieving over his wife, or trying like hell to get her back... umm but he had the journal saying they would eventually work together which means he still went out of his way to harm Lucy.
Also... I’m over love triangles (and it would be a triangle because Lyatt has been building since the pilot and is so unresolved) and I really think at some point Lorena and his daughter will come back into play. (which would repeat this seasons dramatic storyline).
Riya:
SAVE RUFUS!!! These two absolutely killed it. Jiya became an absolute badass and it was great. Her scene with Mason at the end broke my soul a little bit... and I'm still not ok about Rufus (ill have to expel those feels a little later)
Random Thoughts:
For awhile I was so frustrated with how long the Jessica storyline was being dragged out. It seemed like something that should've taken maybe 3 episodes max to resolve. However, it now makes a little more sense. They had to keep her around to the finale because I truly think that next season Emma and Jessica will become the “big bads” of the season. She obviously has a deep history with Rittenhouse (as does Emma) and now there is no clear leader, which means either they work together or we’ll see Emma v. Jessica. Ok... I see you writers.
-She was drinking at least twice. Theres no way she could've known she was pregnant because it'd be super early (math is our friend), and I doubt there are sensitive early pregnancy tests laying around the bunker... She so not pregnant. She’s a LIAR!
-Emma- HOLY SHIT! I felt for her a lil in the Suffragette episode and thought (as most of us did) that perhaps she was coming around.. but NOPE. She went full on murderous megalomaniac crazy!
#timeless#nbc timeless#lyatt#Wyatt logan#I had so many feelings#still have so many feelings#seriously tho we need at least 5 more seasons#save rufus

Ranking Buck's relationship from the most "Functional" to the least
because there's of course the fact that we all know calling a relationship with someone "Functional" is "not the way you talk about someone you're in love with" but it's also not true at all.
Reminder that a dysfunctional Relationship is a relationship that does not perform their appropriate function. It's not about long term or seriousness so here goes my rating, from most functional to least:
1. Ali Martin
She wasn't there much so there wasn't really anytime for it to become dysfunctional. Tho there are other reasons like:
See, Ali and Buck liked each other but they never tried to be more than what they felt. When things got too tough for Ali, she told him without expecting him to sacrifice who he was because she knew how important it was to him. It was a relatively serious relationship but not a long term one. They both knew it, they both agreed to it and that was that, making it the most functional out of all Buck's relationship for that simple fact.
1/10 on the dysfunction scale.
2. Abby Clark
We all know she did something creepy when she got his number. Still, he had the leeway to block her and at first it was mostly friendly. She still generally considered him a boytoy when things got more romantic whereas he was completely in it for the long haul. So we're off to a very rocky and unequal relationship.
However they still were fairly good at communicating their needs and their wants to each other as far as the day to day is concerned...before Abby left. They trusted each other and were fairly open. There was a partnership that we didn't really see with his other girlfriends. Taylor had a few in Treasure Hunt (412) but they were then mixed quickly with Eddie who took over by the end of the episode.
Abby's priority was Patricia so her being put first was not a show of dysfunctionality since Abby had been clear this would be part of the deal and Buck accepted it going in. Especially since Abby still managed to put Buck front and center several time without it being overtaken by Patricia so they managed to find a relative balance.
So, it was unequal yes but both of them found something they needed in it which is why Abby hadn't managed to truly broke things off and it took Buck months before he was able to let her go.
7/10 on the dysfunction scale
3. Taylor Kelly
Yeah she manages to beat Abby in my book. So let's start. We're gonna ignore season 2 because apparently Buck forgave her and she might have apologized off screen to Bobby (I doubt it but we don't know and the point is Buck seems to have forgiven her for some reason and Bobby seems to...somewhat tolerate her so...even if she apologized to appease Buck the point is, she's tolerated now).
So we start with her being a complete asshole and never apologized (yeah Buck wasn't great in that part of the story either but it's absolutely not comparable). Turned him down then changed her mind by kissing him when he was extremely vulnerable bc his best friend was shot in front of him and was surprised (if not annoyed) that he didn't chase her so she already beats Abby in the consent department. Then keeps the theme of considering him self centered by not understanding why he gets into danger from the double date with Veronica and Albert to 414 before the kiss all the way to 505 (so 5 months later) when he's trying to be vulnerable with her (don't get me wrong her comment isn't completely wrong in itself even if she doesn't understand where it comes from but the lack of empathy before, during and after is not good).
After that there's the matter of Buck's lack of trust toward her whether it's with job stories or their relationship (he thinks she's gonna leave him every time she does something different than usual, won't tell her about the kiss, reaches relationship milestones not bc he wants to but because of how she might react to a situation, ect...), there's the fact that her love is conditional (said she loves him because he helped her) and she doesn't want to be especially vulnerable with him (the only time she does is for the ILU scene and she dials it back down immediately...granted considering his later reaction and the fact he's probably her first ILU...is sort of understandable), then there's the fact we learn that he's completely right in not trusting her when it comes to his job's stories considering her conclusion to her backstory which is telling other people's stories to deflect from her own (also concludes by confirming she's still not telling him everything, which you know it's normal not to tell everything but you don't brag about it to someone who's trying to be vulnerable with you).
The fact that he was tempted by Lucy which, kiss or not is proof enough in itself to show that he's not well in his relationship (he was never tempted during his relationships with both Abby and Ali, even when they weren't there for a long period of time).
This relationship is based on fumes and smoke. They both want something serious but not especially with each other, so much as the other is the one here at that point in time so they are unwilling and unable to do what is actually needed for it to work. When they try to do them, the motivation is that they're needed for a relationship to work, not because loving the other makes them want to help/be there. And that's because while they're in it at the same time, they're not in it together, they're just there along for the ride.
9/10 on the dysfunction scale
CONCLUSION
Not only is Buck wrong in considering his relationship with Taylor to be his most functional one, but I personally consider it to be his least functional one.
Denial is strong with Buck and while he doesn't repress in the same way Eddie does (nor does he repress the same things), his level of repression is still high and his denial ability puts the whole thing on a brand new level which explains how he managed to stay 10 months with a person he trusts as little as he does Taylor (and I barely even touched how their different types of empathy affects their relationship and informs Buck's lack of trust in her.
Also a dysfunctional scale can change if you learn stuff like communication or empathy but it won't if the basis of your relationship is so off you'd need a soft character reboot for it to change (which can happen through trauma or breaks ect...but not a great look at the first version of the relationship)
#Ali Martin#Abby Clark#Taylor Kelly#Evan 'Buck' Buckley#911 fox#If anyone's asking him and Eddie are an 8/10 rn but it'd be easily solved if they lowered their level of denial#(Repression without denial is more easily helped). Because they've already got the trust; the love and the intimacy parts at a pretty good#level. They just need the communication to be able to open the gate

Rating the ninjago season based on what I’ve gathered from binging the show in 3 weeks while not paying attention 70% of the time
(Spoilers obviously)
Season 1 / Pilot: not often on TV but a very good introduction to the story, love the concept of the skeletons and Garmadon being a knock off Hades, I wish they continued with that instead of the snakes, sadly kinda too fast paced but hey it’s supposed to be a movie I guess, 9/10
Season 2: what my local kids channel played for 5 years on loop, a classic but I’m tired of it bc I’ve seen it too often, has a lot of plot holes and the snakes are too goofy at times for my taste, terrible animation in comparison to the newer seasons, 5/10
Season 3: not as good as I remember it to be but their outfits slap, we finally get to meet PIXAL our queen, the trip to space was kinda random and unnecessary, but the shock when Zane died tho???? 12 year old me was devastated, 8/10
Season 4: really interesting premise, I wish they had committed to Zane staying dead or at least staying away for longer tho, the tension is lost halfway through the season somehow, we need more Skylor content, 7/10
Season 5: Nya has powers now?? And oh it’s just the thing we need to defeat the ghosts???? And airjitzu????? Really?????? Great writing very wow, but Cole being turned into a ghost had me shook so that’s really what saves this season for me, gonna have to subtract some points again tho bc Morro is yelling so much and so loud and it’s annoying, 5.5/10
Season 6: I like the idea of the evil dschinn in a bottle but the rest?? Dschinnjago (how tf is it even spelled)?? What the fuck where’s the creativity, and I hate how literally no one gets character development besides Jay and Nya, literally everyone else had no personality and then gets sucked into that sword, if you’re a jaya stan good for you but this season was so boring to me, 4/10
Season 7: okay this is a hot take bc apparently people kinda like this season and maybe it’s bc I paid even less attention than usual but it was so bad,,,,, snakes again? Can we come up with something different please? Yes the time blades are a cool concept but the rest?? And the character design of the villains is so bad, like seriously what the fuck, my eyes are bleeding, 2/10
Season 8: I was kind of sceptical when they suddenly started with that royal family stuff but Harumi,,, my beloved, the one and only girl boss, I think she’s the best villain of the entire show (yes her goal is kinda cheap but the reason for it and the way she behaves is just top tier villiany), the motorcycle gang is kinda fun as well, dad Cole has my whole heart, and the ending???? BRO?????? 9/10
Season 9: in retrospect it’s really just 4 gays raising a kid in the desert, gives me big mad max fury road vibes at least the aesthetic (i haven’t seen the movie lol), the junk yard baron guy and the faith plot are kinda cringe tho and the HTTYD scene with Kai?? They don’t even try to conceal that it’s a knock off, same camera angle and everything, the plot in ninjago city is like,,,, bro is this still a kids show?? This is straight up ‚a bunch of teens try to fight the fascistic regime in a post apocalyptic world‘, the whole season feels like a filler tho so 7.5/10
Season 10: that Lloyd / Garmadon fight really is something, have the creators forgotten they’re making a kids show??? Don’t remember much besides Harumi straight up dying and thinking that Skylor needs more screentime besides being a plot device, 7/10
Season 11: the beginning is veeeery slow which is kind of annoying and what happened to the plot with Aspheera?? Did I not pay attention again or....?? but the rest? Chefs kiss, love it, Akita my beloved,,,,, I didn’t see Zane as the emperor coming at first (although it’s pretty on the nose now that i think about it) but it’s so dark and so well written I love it,,, like I said a thousand times without the advisor guy and them not having to make it suitable for kids it could have been even better, the ending was so rushed tho and the conflicts were resolved way too easily, that’s why I have to subtract a point, 9/10
Season 12: this season could have used so much more superstar rocking jay content,,, seriously if you give Jay yet another season then fucking commit to it, the second half of the season is literally s6 all over again and I hate it, yes we get it jaya rules but please,,, give the other characters some screentime and development, the way the conflict with unagami is solved is,, questionable??? Like that’s not how it works bro, 6.5/10
Season 13: not at all what I expected it to be bc I had seen so much amazing stuff on here so I was pretty disappointed bc it didn’t feel like Cole’s season, the evil dad trope is overused so pls stop it, the uply (???) and their animated short slapped, we need to see more of Cole’s mom,,, pleeasseeeee, 7/10
Season 14: what the fuck?? Is going on???? Is this even a season??? What’s up with the western colonizers club????? I know it’s set up for s15 but I really didn’t like it esp the portrayal of indigenous people as savages (at least it has the vibe), 1/10
Season 15: listen I’m just not a fan of non human species in the lego world, the snakes were okay but these sea bitches look horrible, the evil son had a great voice actor tho, and the ending,,,,,, bro i still haven’t recovered, I never expected them to commit to something like that, 6.5/10

Listen, I actually couldn't finish this episode. Like I lost brain cells, got ingestion and finally KO-ed because I could NOT grasp the plot. Not even seeing Lena again made this enjoyable for me. But here's what I got:
- I wonder how many takes Thomas took to say Nxyly's full name without biting his tongue off
- also I am so sorry Thomas that they had you sing. And yet somehow that wasn't the most cringe thing to happen in this episode
- Nia and Kara desperately assigning blame to themselves instead of just, idk, working together to fix the problem. Who cares who's fault it is??
- Alex jumping in front of kara when mxy brandishes the PZ projector is the only thing I liked
- Kelly's absence felt so odd after 2 back to back episodes of her front and centre
- Nia thinking that Kara would drag her for making a mistake makes me wonder if these characters even know each other
- kara: "I should've told you guys about Nxyly". Yes you idiot you absolutely should have! Like I get that they don't wanna bring it up but like how is ignoring what happened to her any better? Do they not do any Intel sharing?
- the fucking zookeeper is still here?!?!?
- look I wasn't expecting Lena to be talking to kara on the phone, I know better than that, but I had hoped it would at least be Nia considering that Lena and her have been bonding over their moms and it just makes sense??
- andrea's titty window sans kara or Lena to see it. What was it all for?
- I understand Lena using Andrea's resources to help her out and shit and I'm actually surprised the writer's remembered she doesn't have access to the LuthorCorp jet anymore. I honestly wouldn't have batted an eye if she did tho.
- the way we haven't had ANY scenes of dialogue between kara and lena aside from 6x01 and only ONE line from kara to Lena since then. Like are they actually going to brush everything under the goddamn rug? We heard from Alex that they've forgiven each other and it seems that way too but we haven't actually had the chance to judge that as an audience and it's (checks notes) 11 episodes already???
-Kara is back and yet Lena doesn't seem full. Kara is back and yet she hasn't been vulnerable with lena or with anyone really. Or was that all a lie?
- Nxyly is actually kinda hot in this episode. Interesting development there
- the team actually fighting a giant pussy cat and more brain cells have died. If they were hoping it would be amusing like the Legends fighting a giant Beebo, spoiler alert - it was not
- mxy and Nxyly and even the king has some keysmash names but one imp is actually named Jared? Just fucking Jared. Christ
- Lena being bullied by a bunch of Canadians is hilarious and I say this as a Canadian. Like Lena has stood her ground against Lex, Lillian, SG, an interrogation room filled with judgemental pricks, fucking Reign and yet, she looked two seconds from crying when denied her hotel room by some fucking Newfies. Get the fuck outa here.
- not a single Tim Hortons run in this entire episode. Are we sure she even went to Canada???
- at one point, I was rooting for Nxyly to win.
- so not only did they bring back that god awful wig that they actually had the audacity to make footage with it? That thing needs to be snatched and thrown into the sun like the trash monster.
- Katie looked so done in this episode and I don't even blame her. I suffered second hand embarrassment on her behalf. Those lines, her behaviour. It's like what the fuck happened to the Lena from the past 4 seasons?
- the mean bartender says "I've seen you on the news running arm in arm with a bulletproof alien" and the places my mind went is probably why I didn't pay any attention to the rest of the episode.
- so lemme see if I have this right. Lena's mom visits the cave lady in her dreams but never once thought to visit her traumatized little daughter?
- am I supposed to be upset that they killed an abuser? Because I'm not
- so much porn shots of the town car driving up and down some sketch and lonely road
- did Google maps really lead Lena to some random cave?? Bruh
- Lena's scenes felt so disconnected for a minute I thought I was watching a completely different show.
- aluminum foil on the props lord did they just say fuck it and made a Dollarama run for the cheapest 200ft roll they could buy?
- Kara being a mentor to Nia for the first time since that Nia centric episode last season. God I hate it here.
- they do remember J'onn is a shape shifter right? Why do we need an image inducer? I get the little Lena is still with the team crumb but it's stupid.
- still no word on M'gann huh
- yo since the Luthors are technically perceived on Earth-Prime as "good", what trail of bodies is this bar lady talking about? This isn't public knowledge and Lena's mom only killed 1 dude who frankly deserved it.
- sigh. We're really doing this witch Lena thing then.
- kara stop trying to reach the good in people! Just stop. When has this bullshit EVER WORKED? Some people are just too far gone. Accept it.
- stronger together has truly lost meaning on this show
- Alex and Kara being so willing to hold much less use the PZ projector is utter bullshit. Also they just have that thing lying around for any grabby hands to take?
- what the actual fuck is Kara's arc this season? Or Alex? Or poor J'onn. The man has been seriously neglected.
- kara is supposed to be the most powerful being on the planet and yet this show continues to nerf her abilities. God I missed the days of S1 when Kara looked like she could fuck shit up.
- also when is kara going to be the focus of her own show again? Are we ever going to properly address Kara's issues? We got two episodes of James processing his trauma and only 5 mins of flashbacks in 6x08 for Kara and a few fleeting moments sprinkled across the last 5 seasons. Ridiculous. Like it won't diminish her as a character to seek professional help, it won't make her any less of a hero. Think of how impactful that would be and the message that could send about the importance of mental health.
- glad to see a promo for this important episode next week (I honestly can't wait - Kelly in a head wrap is so personal to me y'all) but please I'm begging you, do not make the issue of race come at the expense of kara's intelligence and awareness. She's a journalist, she's seen xenophobia and written about it, she's been friends with James for years. Kara knows about racism. Please show that.
Needless to say I did not enjoy this episode at all. I was happy to see Lena again but all her scenes were just hard to watch. I feel like so much of their very limited time is being wasted and there's still so many things they haven't touched upon yet. When exactly are we gonna get to it? Better question, will we ever get to it? Probably not.
Like I wanted to see the super friends communicating, leaning on each other, character growth, being truly stronger together but no. They're giving us literally anything but that and it's frustrating.

Gloria, Jet-lags and Imps [6x11]
Let’s jump right in:
Kinda love how Kara lamp-shaded addressed the fact she didn't tell the gang about her adventures in the PZ. She’s not wrong, tho.
...what do I want to say about Mxy using what's basically a well-known gay-anthem to tell his tale? I mean, it didn’t lead anywhere. The original song is about freeing oneself, liberation, stepping out of a (gone bad) relationship and moving on, stronger for it - empowerment. The only connection I could make, is that originally it was Nyxly’s aim to just do that (freeing herself and her kind from an oppressor), but in the way Mxy performed it, that part of the parallel was long over before he even reached the chorus. It’s also a popular Karaoke song, tho, so... he chose it because it’s catchy? I’ll try not to overthink it for now. At least, the Superfriend’s reactions were fun.
Nia exiting the elevator, "And what's this Old Stone?" I love it when ppl enter a room / situation and pick up on words that they couldn't have possibly heard. I think cinema sins ding such... Are we to assume, she dreamed Mxy's rendition of ‘I will survive’? Or is the elevator not sound-proof at all? (If it’s the latter, Nia later apparently telling Brainy “in private” between scenes / during the elevator ride about her Nyxly adventures, was a silly thing to do.)
So, "Jared" created the ring Old Stone to rule them all, it got shattered into the Paragons totems? Nyxly needs the totems and to get them she needs a crystal which also belonged to "Jared" - who happens to be Mxy's ancestor, which is why she needs Mxy / his blood, too.
I have one important and incredibly relevant question here, tho...
With the introduced imps and their names... Why’s dude named Jared of all things?!
Really, did I mishear that? If so, I’ll leave it as is and never edit, bc that would be hilarious in its own right 😋
...
Not sure what to make about Supergirl paraphrasing a Dirty Dancing quote. "Nobody puts Mxy into a power crystal on my watch." ...is he Baby now? (Seriously, though: Which of the writers thought that was a fitting quote to use in that particular context?)
...now, is the exposition section of the episode over yet?
Sensitive Brainy sensed something was up with Nia. He can relate... Nia doubting Kara would understand, too, is ridiculous. But I get it... insecurities and all. But, I mean, just 5 minutes later Kara announces she wants to save Nyxly despite her wrongdoings. And yet Nia still remains convinced, Kara wouldn’t forgive her own personal mini-me... After having witnessed Kara forgiving Lena for a whole season of the writers being stupid messing up to the nth degree. But I digress, Lena’s Lena.
...how old is Nia meant to be again? Just asking out of completely unrelated curiosity.
F*ck. They really went with NewFoundland...
Imma assume it was an executive choice after realizing they couldn’t find enough actors and actresses with a convincing Irish accent... maybe. Again, no offense to Newfoundland! Just... we got the insinuations of Ireland, not Newfoundland... And truthfully, when I think of magic, Ireland is an easy association. Whereas I only due to this whole debacle learned Newfoundland has Irish ancestry. So, okay, the show forced me to learn something new... I give ‘em that.
An easy journey, she said.
Lena's been off-screen for two whole episodes, Kara announcing at the beginning of ‘Dreamweaver’ [6x09] Lena being “back east” (at least insinuating Lena’s left the west-coast already), which span over at least one full day (feat. a scene at night), and ‘I still rise’ [6x10] at least another a whole day (the whole Nia’s mom back for a day deal). And, now, after at least 48 hours she barely just arrived.
Lemme check how long a regular plane would need to fly from California to NFL......... ... .. .. So... approx. 10 hours with at least one layover.
Yeah, using a private jet made it easier, but apparently also much, much slower...
Or, Lena randomly went some other places / did some sight-seeing in NFL before she decided to finally visit her mother’s hometown... [Either that or the timelines don’t match up and Lena’s scenes are flashbacks of sorts.]
Optimistic and relaxed Lena is a sight to behold. I rewound 3 times, just to enjoy it for as long as possible. We all knew it was going to be short-lived...
Let’s check off a few more items...
OMG, Kara hiding behind Alex at the mere sight of the PZ-projector broke my heart! 😢
"Elisabeth Walsh" is the new 'the one you shall not name'. ...poor Lena. 😭
Oh, so Mxy wants to be Patrick Swayze instead of Baby... gotcha.
...is this going anywhere?
KITTY!!! Okay, this must be the best opponent in the history of CWSG.
Despite the horrible CGI, SG using her heat-vision to project a laser-beam to distract the cat had me in (happy-) tears! 🤣
Gotta love the civilians of National City quickly returning to business as usual once the giant cat is gone. Even the police officers looked rather chill...
Nyxly did look fabulous this episode ^^
Andrea being Lena's rock is both great and annoying. I can't fault Andrea. It's just, that we still have to see an on-screen interaction between Lena and Kara and that bugs the heck out of me. I can’t help it. I’m sorry, Andrea.
Nia: "...is my fault." Kara: "Nu, is MY fault!" J'onn: "Stop fighting, kids!" Space-dad has spoken.
Mxy used an LuthorCorp copy machine... and of cos it's faulty. It's not an L-Corp product.
Kara forgiving Nia came as a surprise to her... Oooookay. I mean, the show has been writing Kara a bit inconsistently the past two seasons... so, yeah, maybe being unsure which of her traits apply this week was not such a far stretch...
Maybe it's the hair, but I wished, Florence was played by Alex Kingston.
So, not-Alex-Kingston shows Lena herself with a funny wig and tells her how her mother was still watching her...
If it wasn't for Katie's acting skills (I love her.) I would have already hit my head against the wall repeatedly. Something about these scenes had me constantly cringe and I made it through 5.5 seasons of this show already... Can’t quite put my finger on it, but it was highly distracting from the story that explained Lena’s mom was special even to another witch, where there was domestic abuse, and an accidental murder. Y’know, important stuff, deep-cutting stuff!
At least, poor widddle Lena got some closure there. Elisabeth was a good cookie. And filled with magic. And Lena’s gotta have that ‘spark’, too...
....so... Lena’s gonna stay in NFL for how much longer, to train becoming a witch? Please, just hand her a how-to manual and send her back home, to figure it out on her own, please... (Yes, that would be horrible decision-making, but I need her back with the team!)
On to the finish line:
So... Mxy IS Nyxly's brother? Wait, that doesn’t sound right... then Nyxly would have the same blood... Did I miss something? Can someone explain, please? Or is he her ex, and that’s where his rendition of “I will survive” makes sense?
Hnn... I can't help, but think Kara's speech for Nyxly was 85% based on her experiences with Lena in s05.
Awww... he said "stronger together"... Mxy... I hope, you'll be okay!
Lena believes in magic now. And I absolutely love how Lena wants to science magic XD
...but apparently magic isn’t science that hasn’t been explained yet, but parallel... powers? concepts? ether strings?
Nyxly has a loyal henchman now. Which was a bit heavy-handed. Took way too much of screen-time, so it better leads to something interesting.
And Kara is on a warpath now. Wooooot! Girl’s got enough.
...what else?
Did I miss a third Patrick Swayze hint / quote / mention? I learned, these things come in threes... Y’know, basic writing rules...
I guess, for once the episode title was meant to be taken literally, Mxy popping up between characters, to try and help. (I need in-show footage, of Mxy sneaking up on ppl, without his powers, on all fours / crouched, just to get the desired effect.) I mean, I’ve never really watched Malcom, but wasn’t he like what Mxy usually is? A bit of a trouble-maker, prankster, chaos-ensuing wherever he goes? ...well, in that case, the episode title didn’t hold up, as Mxy’s scenes were not fun or really goofy. Yes, there was some superficial humor, but just to serve Mxy dealing with not being able to use his powers, which in turn was only barely scratched at (although it turned out to be his final character development crisis, appreciating not having powers and - in turn - facing consequences for once). Again, a whole lot going on in the episode, so a lot of that may have ended up on the cutting-room floor.
...where’s Kelly? Secretly adopting a kid, maybe?
...Kara’s still a reporter, right? I mean, whenever it serves the immediate plot, yes? ...Not even a throw-away line, that she has to pop up at CatCo for appearances sake? Since Andrea is already upset with her AND looking into her friends’ identities? At least, Kara should take a peek to make sure Andrea hasn’t uncovered anything yet... No?
Well, that’s all I’ve got for now. Kue out.

Thoughts on Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin
First off, i liked it, it’s definitely a enjoyable show and it would’ve been way better if it wasn’t a pll reboot, bc of the og pll? nothing alike. It’s like show need it the name for it to be popular, made some references here and there (the ezria one? 🤢🤢), made the villain go by A and called it a day. Bc truly it doesn’t feel like a reboot, it doesn’t have the same feel to it that pll had, that made it so good even tho it wasn’t a good show at its core. Also i don’t see how are they gonna make second season? when we already know who A is? unless there is someone else working with Archie it wouldn’t make sense for more seasons.
Now, my opinions
First off, gotta get this off my chest, what the actual fuck is that Mouse storyline? like i honestly don’t get it, it’s so fucked up and we don’t even know a lot of it, why does she it do? why does her mom go to that group? why do they act like she was actually kidnapped when she wasn’t, wasn’t even taken for 5 minutes? it’s all so weird
I also don’t like how they made it clear that Wes is a creep but Tabby is still around him? I’m sorry but if 15 yo my daughter told my her 20 something boss made a move on her, i would make her quit and report him, why does she keep working with him seriously
I honestly don’t think Imogen pregnancy was handled well, i get that not everyone goes through the same things but it was like sometimes she wasn’t even pregnant, also zero safety awareness for this girl
Faran is my girl, love her, my favorite. The only thing i don’t get is why would herbully be madame giry? like idk i feel like she quite liked faran, she kept wanting to give the lead part and all, her bully is clearly her mom but it’s like they picked whoever bc her mom was in the other place
When it comes to Noa, there’s not much to say? at least for me, i liked her and that’s it, hope her mom goes to rehab
For the guys, nothing bad to say about Ash and Henry, i liked shawn but i don’t trust that he actually stopped using and i hate to say it but i truly liked Chip at the beginning, it’s wasn’t until he showed interest in Imogen that i thought he was a but weird, and if i’m not wrong it was after tabby and imogen talked about what happened to them? so it was pretty obvious
I liked Kelly, and i think she IS Kelly, but she doesn’t really know who she is without Karen that’s why it seems confusing, but i think her storyline was interesting, but i hate that she ended up with Greg
The moms sucked, all of them, a few of them less than the other but at the end of the day they all sucked
Also i wished the showed the principal a but more, like i think he could be involved in what happed to angela bc i thought he was showed as a teacher in 99 but wasn’t even sure it was him, so i ended up not giving him much thought, so it was a little out of nowhere
Overall it was too convoluted of a show to have only 10 episodes, it’s like 8 different storylines, it’s crazy. It would be way better if it wasn’t a pll reboot that’s all

Soooo decided to watch stranger things (binge watch actually) and here is my commentary that no one asked for :
El: This character needs something that is less centered on her power and more of her traumas. I mean okay her power are important. But she's also a girl who loves her father, math, her friends, max and trying new things. Who tries to look at the positive side. Also I don't love how they portrayed her relationship with the others. Like how everytime Dustin or Nancy or Steve talk about her she's just the girl with the "superhero" power. Not Jane our friend. Or smt else. And her relationship with Mike was doomed since season 1. Like she always loved Mike as a friend, her first, while he was attracted to her ... Supernatural? Did he ever show an actual once of love towards her, her hobbies, her body.... Also give us emo El back. Hate her brown/ boring style. It's not her.
Joyce : she is definitely a hidden genius and I feel people do not recognize it. She was one of the first to find clues, and to actually search for them. And a lovely mom even tho she's quite.... The mess
Murray: I love him. That's all I have to say. Best character ever written in the history of chaos.
Hopper: He is one of the best character and the only "safe" one. But he needs to check his temper. Or try a different coping mechanism. Or have more social skills
Robin: cool character, not my fave but love the friendship we got with Steve. Feel like the fandom is too focused on her sexuality ( Wich I love the representation) to actually see her as she is. Which is a geek. Actual courageous. Where are her parents?
Max: she's a badass but has the emotional range of a spoon. Really beautiful. Good taste in music. Love the depth of her character. Once again a shared trauma. (The show should have called "Why therapy when you can upside down ?") Does she skate still ? The fact that their is no scene of her and El in a skate arena is surprising. For real.
Lucas: one of the few rational character of the show. Loved his septic persona. Season 4 (at least half of it) was not his best. Again, feel like his character is quite simple . But it's good. His best friend is Dustin.
Dustin: cutest motherfucker in the show. Love his randomness. Love that his personality is not based on his love life (unlike a lot of male characters) If he weren't their they would have died the first season. The actual leader of the gang.
Steve: love the sarcasm. Again overlooked role. He goes way over being the mom/babysitter cause he actually cares for the kids safety. Actually not depressed or traumatized by the events (which is weird) parents...are MIA ? Should not end up with Nancy in season 5 ( I think he should move on or not actively search for a gf every five seconds)
Mike: a mess since season five. Has a surge of leadership/ rationality than goes back to being a vegetable. Get jealous easily...(perks of being the middle child ?) Needs to seriously think about his relationship with everyone. And learn respect. I don't believe he'll end up with Will because I think he needs to work on himself before trying anything with anyone. Fix also his obsession with El. Making out all summer (every Day) is NOT normal.
Will: really needs a hug, and a wake up call. His place in the OG d and d club is invisible. Love his art focused character. Again, his sexuality is NOT his personality. Should focus on himself and finding a new goal. Being overly controlled by everyone is not a good thing, even if you have been in hell. Most action seen in season 3, waits for more in season 5.
Nancy: the epitome of good girl Gone Bad. Or tried to. Anyway girl boss all the way. GIRL CRUSH too. But need to stop being self-centered. But than again am the same so.
Jonathan : he's as cowardly as a cow when it comes to his feeling. Didn't felt him in season 4, unlike season 1 2 where he actually did smt. Also, doing weed is not going to help you fixe your Relationship and esteem problem.
Anyway that's for now. Need to finish season 4.

Wolf behavior nuanced by human behavior
Hello hello, I go through the jungle of the Therian Community pretty much daily. I didn't need more than a year to know that therians love to express and talk about the urges, behaviors, and instincts of their theriotype. Logical, of course, it's what the community is about, to talk to people who experience the same thing. But something I often notice is that therians tend to link almost anything to their therianthropy. Of course, therianthropy can influence a person's life greatly. But something important we tend to forget is the fact that humans are also still animals. Even though we have evolved far enough to let our intelligence dominate our instincts, we still unconsciously display instinctive behavior 24/7. If I'd be a fly on your wall and observe you for a little bit, I could point out several behaviorisms that you didn't even think about doing.
Upon questioning a theriotype and examining your therianthropic behavior, it's always important to divide the instinctive human behavior from the non-human animal. I'm not saying some behavior can't be both, in fact, I believe a lot of therianthropy can be influenced by human behavior and the other way around. I often notice myself doing some wolf-like things, and then think to myself if that is normal for a human being to do as well. I am also in no way trying to debunk therianthropy, of course, why would I?
I wanted to dedicate this post to nuancing some often talked about wolf behaviors by comparing them to similar human behaviors. Of course with every human instinct and behavior, it is important to rather compare it to the times when we were still living in tribes, because that's the time where instincts were still crucial to our survival. Because that's what most behaviors and instincts are about: survival.
1. Packs We'll start off easy. A lot of therians express their desire for finding a therian pack. I sometimes hear wolf therians saying it's because their "inner wolf" desperately tries to find some soulmates to be family with. But in reality, as most of you may know, humans are also seriously drawn to forming groups (even with a hierarchy system). This is because it is essential to someone's survival to stick with a group. It's that sense of "belonging" that people are actually after, and that's okay.
2. Being a "lone" wolf Opposite to the human urge to form groups, a lot of therians claim they don't want to be in a pack and that they're generally anti-social. They believe that the lone wolf stays alone and completely fine with this. First of all, a lone wolf is never alone by choice, because every lone wolf either seeks a mate to start a pack with or has walked away/was driven away from their pack to find rest and die. A wolf being alone and staying alone voluntarily goes entirely against their nature, as wolves are pack animals. Now to look at human behaviors, social capabilities really variate per person. Every human eventually has to distance themselves from groups to recharge that social battery. Some people have a very long-running one, and some have a very short-running one. Even tho it may seem to go against that group-forming instinct, it's still a very normal human thing to do.
3. Curling up I often hear wolf therians whine about the fact that their human body is incapable of curling up the way a wolf does when they sleep. I speak from experience that this can indeed be a struggle, as it seems incredibly comfortable. But even though a wolf naturally curls up when they sleep, humans actually also have a rooted urge to curl up or at least make themselves small when they sleep. This posture stems from the fetal posture we had when we were still in our mother's womb. It was scientifically proven that reenacting this position gives a sense of protection. 40% of people actually sleep in this position. [source]
4. The Weather & the seasons I've heard quite some therians mention that the weather and the changes of the season have a great effect on the amount and severity of their shifts. I have the same, and I am not denying that shifts get influenced by these factors. But it is important to note that humans, in fact, also get greatly influenced by weather and seasons. The greatest proof of this is Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) which is the occurrence of a person dealing with great mood swings and states of depression based on the time of the year. A lot of people feel more depressed during winter, for example. This also has to do with the amount of sunlight in comparison to summer. But factors like storms and snow also affect people's moods. It can make them excited and/or tensed.
5. Therian Territory ;) A lot of (wolf) therians such as myself have a big tendency to claim territory in a variety of ways. Wolves mark their territory by urinating everywhere. Although not every therian feels comfortable sharing their potential urges to urinate on trees like so, territorial urges are still expressed within the community. But have you ever wondered why people look for houses to live in? And why there is such a distinct border between what is your private property and the plain unclaimed sidewalk? Territory is linked to social status, for this reason, people often buy bigger houses when they earn more money than average, simply to claim space. In this article, there is some good evidence that human territoriality is, in fact, different from other animals.
6. Alphas This is actually the only point that I'd really like to debunk: what was once known as the wolf hierarchy. When wolves were being studied thoroughly, about their pack system, their behaviors, and body language, they were studied by putting a bunch of unrelated wild wolves in an enclosure. In order to survive, the alpha-beta-omega system formed, and this false theory was spread throughout the entire world. In reality, wolf packs are nothing more than families. The supposed "alphas" are simply the elders or parents of the pack. The betas are often the big sisters, and the omegas would be the pups. The funny part about this theory is that it was later discovered that apes, in fact, do have this hierarchy system... including humans. When humans form a group (not talking about families here), they will actually subconsciously create such a hierarchy system. There's often a leader (alpha), the people who follow that leader (beta), and the people who walk on the sideline, aren't taken as seriously or are even being a little neglected by the rest (omega). 7. Drawn to nature While most therians are particularly drawn to nature-like sceneries, more so than more people, humans in fact still generally feel more connected to nature than the city life. Living in cities is, in my opinion, more of a result of people staying together for better survival and being able to take a shorter distance to work. But naturally, humans have a deep connection with nature. In the world of biology, this is apparently called Biophilia (philia is a New Latin noun-combining form to describe a fondness or love for a specific subject). More about Biophilia can be found in this article.
In all honesty, a lot of therianthropic urges and behaviorism can have some type of nuance from our human nature. It does not make our Therianthropy any less valid (yes, I said the v-word  ). With this knowledge, I just hope that people are now able to make a better distinction between wolf and human behavior. So I hoped this helped a little, in case you're questioning an animal or researching some therianthropy roots.
Feel free to critique this piece as it was partially from my own memory from a couple of years of research, I'm not trying to play the all-knowing wolf here. I'd also love to know if you guys know more of these wolf behaviors that could be nuanced by human behavior! How many of these did you know about?
