• MINJI who loves when you take her clothes, she actually giggles whenever she sees you walking around with them on. you once did a live in her hoodie to which she was texting you the entire time about how pretty you looked. (you had to end the live early and go over to her dorm).

“what is minji laughing like that about?” hanni asks, a look of disgust on her face.

“y/n went live in a hoodie of hers.” hyein responds, groaning as she bangs her head on the table.

“she’s been giggling all evening.” haerin says.

“i just wanna watch princess and the frog..” dani says disappointedly, making her members laugh.

• MINJI whose love language is gift giving. she likes to leave little gifts at your apartment while you’re away, always smiling whenever she gets a thank you text hours later from you.

you walked into your apartment after a long day at work, flopping onto your couch when you noticed a small box sitting on your coffee table. the sight made you groan, you knew it was minji again.

she had been giving you so many gifts recently that you didn’t even want to open it. you carefully unwrapped the box (minji insisted on wrapping it even if her wrapping was horrible) and opened it up to find a small journal. inside were tons of polaroid pictures of you and minji, the sight making you smile. there were photos from you first date, and even all the way back to when you met while trainees. it filled you with a sense of nostalgia, picking up your phone to text minji.

• MINJI who loves to kiss your face, whether it’s your forehead or your temple she’ll always make sure to give you a kiss whenever she sees you.

you lay your head on minji’s shoulder as you both watched the sunset, you felt so safe in her presence. minji kept her eyes on you even with the sight in front of her, nothing else could top your beautiful face in her mind. she wanted to kiss you so bad, the temptation getting to her as she gave you a small nudge.

“huh?” you ask, jumping a bit as minji held your chin and gave a small kiss to your forehead.

“sorry, you looked really good..” minji mumbles, making you blush.

you give a small kiss to her forehead as well, the smile on her face making you giggle.

“you’re so cute.”

• MINJI who gets jealous easily, especially seeing you with other idols.

you were currently doing a special performance with sana of twice, the two of you doing a cover of taste by sabrina carpenter. it was a very sudden and laat minute performance, so the look on minji’s face when she saw you on stage with your favorite idol was nothing but jealousy.

she knew it was just a performance and she shouldn’t care, but with the way you talked about sana before you guys got together she couldn’t help but feel jealous. your voices mixed well together as-well, the loud cheers in the audience making minji more annoyed.

minji was taken out of her trance by hanni, the shorter girl giving her older member a glare.

“there’s no way you’re seriously jealous of them right now.” hanni says, suppressing a giggle.

“oh shut up.” minji groans, nudging hanni the side making the younger girl giggle.

“you’re gonna get us on dispatch minji, brighten up.” hanni says to which minji rolls her eyes.

“that girl loves you y’know. sana isn’t gonna scoop her up, she knows about you two.” hanni says, to which minji visibly relaxes at.

“oh.” minji mumbles, she felt stupid.

“got all jealous for nothing.” hanni says, giggling again making minji push her.

“i hate you so much.” minji deadpans, ignoring the way her anger only made hanni laugh more.

• MINJI who loves spending time with you, regardless of your busy schedules.

when you and minji finally got a second to yourself, you chose to watch a movie together. you lay there in minji’s lap, eyes on the tv as she held you close.

the silence was comforting so much that you fell asleep about thirty minutes into the movie, making your girlfriend laugh.

minji ran her hands through your hair once more before relaxing back into the couch, it was a rare occurrence that you two got to spend the night together. she fell asleep only minutes later after you, her hands hugging your sides as she went in a deep sleep.

If you guys were roommates or lived together, he'd probably just show up one day in his suit and not say a word about it. He'd act like it was the most normal thing and if you really wanted to know how it'd happened, or when it'd happened, he'd beckon you over with a smile and hold you in his arms while he answered whatever questions you wanted him to answer (as long as they weren't about his canon events. he doesn't talk about those) If you guys didn't live together, he'd just tell you out of the blue on some random Tuesday. You probably wouldn't take it seriously at first, but after a while you'd realize he wasn't joking and you'd eventually get used to him being a superhero. It definitely made things easier now that he didn't have you questioning why he was showing up all bloody at night and turning everything that went into the washer red and blue.

He'd be pretty scared to tell you at first, because he'd be terrified that you'd leave him, or that you wouldn't be into the idea of being with a superhero. He'd put it off for as long as possible until he'd muster up the courage and just bring it up out of the blue. You could be in the middle of telling him about your day or asking him about homework and he'd just rip open his jacket and show you his suit and go "I'm Spiderman!" The two of you would just stare at each other in shock until one of you broke the silence. After that, he'd be pretty relaxed though, like a huge weight was taken off his shoulders.

It'd take you a second to really let it sink in but he'd answer all your questions eventually, and he'd make sure to share everything with you because he hates keeping secrets.

She'd plan out what she was gonna say and what she was gonna do and (unlike Pavitr) she'd stick to her plan all the way through. It would probably end in her hugging you for a pretty long time and not wanting to let go until she was completely sure that you were okay with her secret identity. She's pretty scared of losing you. Afterwards the two of you would laugh it off and you'd probably go out to grab a snack or catch a movie. It would definitely be a huge stepping stone in your relationship together and she'd be very fond of this moment for the rest of her life.

I just read your thoughts about Scarabia and Leona's arc development in game, and I got very interested.

There's very little info on Arabian culture online, at least that I've seen, and also African. A thing that makes me very curious is about their mythologies, folklore, and also music. We know a lot about food, since it's something so universal, but the rest is hard to get info on, unless it gets popularized or romanticized by someone else.

The scarabia arc is one of my favorites for a reason, and that is because I'm very sympathetic with Jamil, and very sad how his and Kalim's story together got so "twisted" so fast (ehe). Honestly there are so many layers to it that it would take many many chapters, and events, to close the situation. But I think it's good they left the future open like that, since it's something that can't be fixed overnight.

And also, *gets down* PLS PLS PLS PLS 🙏 I love the fluffy fics, are you going to also add Bolllywood songs? They are so good seriously it's so dancing and fun! I love Jamil so much and I MELTED with the headcanon short fic where we are taking care of him. I wanna hold his precious handsome face and just kiss it all over! He is so cute I will go FERAL-

hey qamar 💕 this was a pleasure to read! honestly, i feel like both the scarabia and savannaclaw chapters were too short? of course, we were introduced to the themes and then the whole conflict—resolution mountain for stories, however i just feel like they could have done more with the both of them.

also, i think the reason why the southwest-asian and african themes aren’t covered is because the source material is literally disney films 💀 like we get a warning before rewatching aladdin since they just now realized it was kind of racist (still a major part of my childhood though 😭 “a whole new world” in arabic is delicious). based on how yana has written other characters that are meant to be from south asia, there’s a big chance it would have been disappointing anyways.

plus, with scarabia in particular, there’s too many cultures trying to be represented due to how colonizers deemed all of the countries to be the same thing in different fonts 💀 you’d never confuse a nepali with an omani, but winston churchill sure did not care.

the original aladdin movie was meant to take place in baghdad, a city in iraq, but due to political conflicts at the time (george bush a war criminal regardless of saddam hussein’s crimes. the usa literally gave saddam weapons to kill kurds and then turned around and invaded when he wasn’t convenient anymore 💀). baghdad became agrabah—but the culture is still an amalgamation of west asian, south asian, north african, and like eurasian/turkish culture. im sure they’ve got stuff from central asia too 😭

the issue with this is that from ethnic group to ethnic group/country to country, the culture varies a lot. yemenis and palestinians are both arabs, but our cultures are vastly different, with yemenis having more eastern african influences and palestinians having mediterranean influences. i personally headcanon the scarabia duo as arab, but honestly, they could be from anywhere. for all we know, kalim is afghan and jamil is tunisian—it’s all up in the air due to the original source material. but i digress!! i rambled a lot 😭

i feel like chocolate cake is too normalized in the curtis household to be special so they eat funfetti cake for birthdays

(i’m simply choosing to ignore the fact that funfetti wasn’t invented until 1989, i bet soda accidentally invented it on his own while playing with food coloring, i digress)

anyways, darry and soda wake pony up with a funfetti cake and soda smashes his face in it when he goes to blow out the candles and all three brothers start the morning having a cake/tickle fight.

soda gifts pony a new sketch book and some colored pencils and darry saved up for months to buy pony a camera so he can take pictures of the sunsets.

then the gang comes over and they all go to the movies and get dairy queen and pony gets lots of birthday hugs from his brothers and his friends

that night, the curtis brothers are all cuddling on the couch with Pony in the middle. Darry kisses him on top of the head and tells him he loves him and sends pony and soda off to bed and everyone is happy and nothing is wrong and they’re all safe and content for once and nothing hurts

These are seriously so cute 😭😭 Maybe they make funfettinwith chocolate or even red velvet cake-Soda pushing it in his face is so real, Pony is sleepy as fuck in the mornings and he’s so confused until his brothers smash the cake in his face (it’s a curtis family tradition started by mr curtis) and he’s just very happy 😭 He’s such a baby I can’t-Darry and Soda definitely have saved money since like-january so they could spoil pony rotten that day because he has gone through so much he honestly deserves it-they definitely take him to some restaurant he had been eyeing and let him order whatever he wants and how much of it (usually money is tight so they don’t often have enough to let Pony get the amount he truly wants) and Pony gets a truckload of books (some are even signed by the authors-though most of them were forged by Two Bit but shhhhhh) and Pony at the end of the day just bursts into tears because his brothers took the day off to spoil him and he’s so happy-he cuddles his brothers and is just so sos happy, I love this
