Was able to hang my prints from @pawspaintsnthings / @ouchmyghostskin that I got a few weeks ago 💕💕 Hung with orange and black cat butt magnets bc I thought that was fitting lol

(I'm going to buy larger prints to hang on my wall bc I severely underestimate how large they were when I bought them the first time, but LOOK at how gorgeous these prints are. I can't get over it)

I got this idea from @deostyx 's wonderful post! (Thank you for the free brainrot <3!!)

I love the idea of a Patton and Janus fusion that seems mostly like Patton, except some things are just off, and Virgil would definitely be the first to notice.

Patton and Janus are foils because of how they mirror each other in their actions and values: honesty vs deception, altruism vs self-preservation, innocence vs "the snake in the garden" (that was the best way I could put it). Janus can impersonate Logan almost flawlessly but it was very interesting to see how he impersonated Patton in his reveal episode- exactly like how I imagine their fusion to be: Patton but wrong. Patton but not so innocent, Patton who enjoys impossible moral dilemmas, Patton sitting in the director's chair and dictating how the scenes should go.

"Patton" who lies to cover his identity, who's gloves conceal rough, scaley skin. "Patton" who's smile is a little too wide, who's forked tongue threatens to perk between their teeth. "Patton" who gaslights the other sides into thinking it's just him, who plays with Virgil's emotions until he almost gives up on discovering the truth.

And this one's kinda funny, but- "Patton" who suddenly drinks wine!

I just love the idea of this because maybe they would be great at being Thomas's morality, steering him in the right directions (as Patton would have it). But there's always something wrong in how they go about it, their roundabout arguments, letting the other sides come to a conclusion instead of taking the straightforward Patton way of saying "THIS is the right thing to do." Regardless, perhaps this "Patton" isn't so bad. After all, when has he ever steered Thomas wrong?

ONE LAST THING - the extra floaty hands!! No other side can see them, but they represent Janus's control in a "hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil" way. Except the hands act entirely out of self-preservation: they usually cover "Patton's" mouth ("speak no evil") to prevent them from revealing their identity. I will definitely be drawing this in the future!!

Instead of letting Sonic fall at the start of Sonic X Season 3, Dark Oak captured the Blue Blur?

What if Dark Oak wanted Sonic's mastery of Chaos Energy to further the Metarex Conquest?

What if Dark Oak turned Sonic into the Metarex version of the Winter Soldier, brainwashed and programmed Sonic into their Vanguard Blue Myosotis, to prepare worlds for the Metarex arrival?

What if Cosmo had been the White Seed, the Metarex Eyes and Ears, all along?

What if she was held in captivity since the Metarex destroyed her entire Clan, programmed into the White Seed, just as Sonic was?

...How much suffering and pain would it take to completely lose yourself?

...And is there any hope once you have?

every work of art i've seen depicting the archivist using eye-powers/becoming eldritch comes off as way too majestic to me. yes, eye-influence has resulted in a multitude of eyes everywhere in many cases, but I have yet to come across an interpretation of any beholding-related thing being actually visually unnerving. i thought "maybe i just don't find eyes/staring to be creepy ever?"...

then i remembered "The Guest".

MMM. YEAH UH.

(i haven't seen 'the guest 2' but the same creature in the thumbnail looks goofy rather than brain-piercingly-upsetting, so i think i'll hold off on watching that one.)

(i also really love the body language of the creature at the end. it endears me to them).

But ahem, yeah uhhhhhh. Fellow artists? If you want to make eyes scary? Make them upsettingly round, focused, and wrong-looking?? I dunno man, most of this is just a thought experiment into how to depict horror visually. (again, no shade on all the artists behind those lovely tma beholding works, they're all beautiful. i just wanted something that upset my own brainmeats instinctually).
