okay, of all things, i’ve got to say that i love that all of jet-vac’s additional series concepts is just “what if he has MORE GUN?”
also i fucked up my filter settings halfway through so that’s gonna be fun to accurately recalibrate
also also i don’t think you understand how much of a PAIN breaking this down into assets/elements this was because of how everything is either the same gray or black color PLUS shading. agony.

Splatoon 3 Version 6.0 Patch Notes Breakdown
Been a little bit since I did one of these, but Nintendo released the Chill Season 2023 patch notes about three hour ago, and while in terms of balance changes this is one of the smallest patches ever, it's got a ton of quality-of-life changes, so let's dig in, shall we?
So let's start from the top. In terms of new content, this patch includes a new catalog, two new stages (Robo ROM-en and Bluefin Depot), two new Specials (Splattercolor Screen and Triple Splashdown), nine new weapons, two new multiplayer songs, the new King Salmonid Megalodontia, and eleven new Tableturf cards.
Additionally, you'll note that they're including a line about giving you one Sheldon License at the end of each season. This is actually really relevant to a change coming down in line, so tuck that in the back of your mind for later.
The balance changes are all buffs, but they're relatively minor, and only six Main weapons and one Special are seeing any changes this time around.
Starting off, .96 Gal is having its ink efficiency buffed by 8%. It currently gets 40 shots on a full ink tank, so I wager this increases that number by about 5-10, but it's 5 AM my time at time of writing and I am bad at math, so I don't know for sure.
Ranged Blaster's explosions get a 15% paint buff. Note that this applies only to the final explosion and not the trail, so it's not a straight 15% paint buff.
Dread Wringer gets a 10% ink efficiency buff, and since it currently has ten sloshes on a full tank, that increases that number to eleven.
And finally, for Main Weapon changes the Heavy Edit Splatling now paints more. Unlike the Ranged Blaster's paint buff this is a lot harder to gauge, but Heavy Edit's paint can be kind of spotty and inefficient, so this is undoubtedly a good thing for it.
After that, we've got only two points-for-Special changes.
Jet Squelcher and L-3 Nozzlenose both get some points shaved off their Specials, taking their Ink Vac and Crab Tank to 180p and 190p respectively. On one hand, I am biased and hate the Jet Squelcher, and I think this buff was completely unwarranted and unnecessary, but on the other hand I love the L-3 and want only good things in life for it, so they balance each other out, in my book.
And, for the final balance change of the entire patch, we've got a Reefslider buff, as it now makes you invulnerable during its startup 13 frames faster. The thing about this change is that like, it's a buff, and that is good, but the problem Reefslider has is not getting the Special off, it's that you very rarely survive the aftermath of using it, and this does nothing to solve that. With Triple Splashdown on the horizon I think things might be rough for this Special in the future.
And that's all of the balance changes! There being so few of them indicate two things to me: That Nintendo is overall happy with the the state of the game, and that they are wary of touching anything unless they have to. And one hand I get it, after all, competitive players are currently saying that there really isn't a meta at the moment, just picking weapons you're good at and playing well, and that's probably not an environment you want to shake up too much. But on the other hand, there are a lot of things like Line Marker, Undercover Brella, and Reefslider to name a few, that could really do with some sprucing up to help them keep up with the just the middle of the pack. I think raising the bottom bar a bit higher would be to everyone's benefit.
But we've got two Specials being added, so I suppose now's not the time to rock the boat too much. We'll see how things have shaken out come the mid-season patch in January.
But the balance changes are a very small part of these patch notes, and nowhere near the most interesting, so let's keep moving on.
Anarchy Series and X Battles are receiving a whole slew of changes, the most prominent of which are some new badge rewards for win streaks and attaining high X Rankings. Additionally, matchmaking in X Battles is being changed to more strictly separate people with high and low X Ranks, as well as allowing more team compositions. To cut a long story short, weapons have a set of internal values that the game uses during matchmaking to try and balance the team compositions. Matchmaking in high-power X Rank infamously takes a very long time, so I have to imagine that this change aims to speed things up by making the matchmaking more lenient on that front.
Salmon Run, in addition to the new King Salmonid, is getting some significant changes, starting with some changes to the Specials:
Kraken Royale and Triple Splashdown are being added to the pool of available Specials. Additionally, Mr. Grizz has finally agreed to always provide at least two workers on every team with a long-range Special to handle all the pesky Stingers and Flyfish. Be sure to thank your local union representative the next chance you get.
This change is particularly spicy. Your Salmon Run stage badges will now boost your starting difficulty on their respective stages, adding more incentive to play beyond the two superbonuses, as well as making the grind for future badges easier. This certainly gives me more motivation to go for those VP 400+ badges.
You'll now be able to tell what King Salmonid is present during each Shift, and the Salmometer will change to match it, as well. Can you believe they didn't change that when they added Horrorboros?
Also I am curious what this means for those Shifts where the King Salmonid was random. Will the Salmometer become a question mark? Are they not gonna do those anymore? We'll have to wait and see.
But this next change, is a big one, and it's for, what else, Big Run:
Big Run trophy requirements will now be set in advance, and no longer scale off top 50%, 20% and 5% player results.
I am in two minds about this change. On one hand, I always thought that people complaining about overfishers in Big Run were kind of petulant and entitled, especially when the rewards were as minor as locker decorations and badges. Maybe that's mean-spirited of me, but there was never a way for me to read it as anything but people demanding to be given the same reward as the people working the hardest without putting in the effort themselves.
But on the other hand, the 5% cutoff has been steadily rising as overall Big Run participation decreased, which is just a natural result of time passing and casual players falling off the game, nothing weird there, but this means that the top becomes more stacked, further disincentivizing casual players as getting even the bronze trophies becomes harder and harder for them. Giving the players much clearer and more achievable goals will likely serve to pull a lot of people back into Big Runs, and that is undoubtedly a good thing.
And hey, I said the rewards weren't worth getting upset over, and by that same metric, I don't think it's worth getting upset over more people getting them, either. All the better, if it makes more folks happy. And as for the people who do want to grind their hearts out, well:
There's still some recognition for that, too.
So that's the gist of the Salmon Run changes, so let's finish up with some miscellaneous changes.
Remember how I told you to keep that bonus Sheldon's License in mind for later?
Players who own every currently available weapon will now be able to trade extra licenses in for Shell-Out Tokens. In other words, that extra license serves as a failsafe so you don't lock yourself out of buying future weapons by spending all your licenses on gacha rolls.
The Splatfest Battle Pro queue is receiving the same matchmaking changes as X, presumably for much the same reasons.
And finally, the most important change of all:
WANDERCRUST IS BACK!!! YEAH BABY!!!! WOO!!!

Skylanders Academy 15
(...this is probably a good time to mention that while I have played every Skylanders game and watched every episode of Academy... I've never even seen a Spyro game. Really should get into that.)
Season 2 Episode 3 - Return to Cynder
-Secondhand embarrassment is the bane of my existence, but once you get past all that in the beginning of the episode, I really do like it.
-Surprisingly, Blob Gnarly, a villain Cynder makes up fighting in this episode, does exist! Just not in the Skylanders series. It's from Svengoolie, and that's the extent of my information. I could learn more about Blob Gnarly or Svengoolie, but I can't muster up a morsel of interest. Sorry!
-Cynder is such a delight! Too bad she's only introduced in the second season and not present for the third. They really knee-capped her.
-At first I thought Golden Queen's lame missions were just from lack of trust in Kaos, whether in his skills or his loyalty, but I do think its interesting that even she feels insecure at times.
-I'm sure there's some deep symbolism of the first person Cynder truly connects with after escaping Malefor and the one helping her grow accustomed to her powers is also immune to them. But, uh, English class was never my strong suit (hope that surprises you, since I'm literally writing reviews for fun), so I can't really say.
-Is... Is the show making fun of its own fanbase right now, with the Greebles not wanting to take the toy out of the packaging for the resale value? Because a part of me does agree, a plastic covering shouldn't make that much of a difference in price. But I do appreciate people who do sell things online, (even if that was their original plan) since without one of them, I never would have gotten Jet Vac! Yes, I got him because of this show, let's not act like we're surprised.
-If Spyro had just phrased it as they are choosing to be evil, rather than the implication that they were born evil, he could've saved Cynder a mental crisis. He'd still be wrong, though, because Who's Your Daddy does show that Greebles are indeed born evil.
-Is there some parallel in this episode about Golden Queen being unsure about her skills, and Cynder being afraid of hers? ...No, probably not.
-This episode has the idea of Kaos trying to usurp the Golden Queen's command over the Doom Raiders, but this never really comes to pass. Honestly, I don't particularly mind this getting dropped, especially since I strongly doubt the Doom Raiders would ever choose Kaos over Golden Queen.
-While Cynder in the games was actually kidnapped as an egg, I don't think that's the case here. They may not look alike, but I think Malefor is too overprotective for her to be anything other than his actual child. Plus, Eon does comment that 'her type scales looked familiar'.
-Given that Hex was turned undead through a fight with Malefor... I'm surprised she doesn't have anything to say about this whole incident. Well, I'm not, because Academy have a different continuity than the games, but it still could've been interesting.
-Actually, why does the show constantly refer to the dragons as Spyro's ancestors? It's not incorrect, but it would be more accurate to say his parents, right?
-Malefor claims to have helped wipe out the dragons... Eon does say that he's lying to get under Spyro's skin, which could be the case, but I can't see why he'd bother, when he's about to kill him.
-It's never addressed how Spyro was left in the forest. My personal belief is that the thing that wiped out the dragons occurred while he was still in the egg, so it passed right over him.

Idea for Skylanders Fighting Game
One game series I remember playing a lot of as a kid was Skylanders and I really enjoyed the Netflix series as well, and I was thinking to myself, what a roster for a Skylanders fighting game would look like, so here I am to be doing a base roster of 24 as that seems to be the average nowadays with for the most part, two or three characters per element with 3 seasons of dlc with 6 characters each.
Base Roster:
Spyro
Pop Fizz
Stealth Elf
Tree Rex
Gill Grunt
Snap Shot
Eruptor
Spit Fire
Trigger Happy
Magna Charge
Cynder
Roller Brawl
Jet-Vac
Sonic Boom
Terrafin
Fist Bump
Aurora
Nightfall
Kaos
Golden Queen
Wolfgang
Chompy Mage
Dr Krankcase
King pen
DLC Pack 1:
Ninjini
Whirlwind
Ignitor
Astroblast
Starcast
Krypt King
DLC Pack 2:
Dreamcatcher
Chef Pepper Jack
Cuckoo Clocker
Pain-Yatta
The Gulper
Shrednaught
DLC Pack 3:
Flashwing
Chop Chop
Mesmerelda
Count Money Bone
Kaosandra
Crash Bandicoot
Final Boss:
Malefor
So, what do you guys thinks of the roster, who else would you like to see in this roster?

Facts about my skylanders au's and fanfiction in general.
Skylander core leaders: while Spyro is the main leader of the skylanders due to master eon's death he does have help and assigned co- leaders based off of their experience, skill, leadership skills, likeability and the games they were introduced in. With jet vac being the leader of the gaints cores(the cores that would often help the gaints). Roller brawl the core leader of the swap force cores and last but certainly not least food fight for the trap team cores (he's literally the most recognizable core in all of trap team I feel like I don't even need to explain why.) These guys and lady help Spyro whenever he feels overwhelmed and it is common for them to help him whenever something happens like if he got sick or something. Jet vac has a strict and old fashion style of leading. Roller brawl is a ferice and determined type of leader and is known to waiting in people's closets if they are acting lazy and performing horribly while during practice or on missions. Food fight is mostly chilled back and is the least strict out of all the co-leaders and won't mind his fellow team mates missing out on a few days of training just as long as it doesn't form a pattern then he'll start to get annoyed but he's also the only co-leader with a dark form so most skylanders won't push him there. Some even forget or don't know that he's even a co-leader due to layed back attitude which could be viewed as a strength or disadvantage depending on who it is for example jet vac doesn't really care for his leading style but keeps that to himself unlike some people(chop chop) and him and roller brawl are pretty good with kids while jet vac isn't. The sky baron can't take a joke. However there is another type of leader with that being spry. Spry is the soon to be leader of the minis while it was originally pet vac the other minis well....they thought he was boring.
2. Viruses and zombification: yes you heard me right. However it takes a lot for a skylander to become zombiefied as even attempts in the past to infect one always failed due to their magical gens however those were attempts to make it permanent a few villains manged to turn a few into zombies but it never last long. By next week those said skylanders are back to normal with no brain craving tendencies. Now for viruses. Skylanders are able to get sick just like any regular being but depending on the species the chances or either higher or lower but something that all skylanders share is that they can never die from an illness unless they were born with it before becoming a skylander then it's just going to happen. Also with zombie skylanders they still have a sense of consciousness unlike most creatures infected they are just in a trance like state and are acting up on their urges however legends say if one who was close to that specific skylander tries hard enough they could have that skylander fight back against it and also while zombiefied they can NOT go into their toy forms and also are invincible must like the zombots from that sonic the hedgehog comic series they feel NOTHING and even if you hit them in the head it will have no effect and if a limb falls off they will just pick that limb up and re-attach it with no problem and once they skylander turns back to normal they will be fine with no signs of being undead only with a slight memory lost and a headache. Now back to viruses and other illnesses. Now depending on the species that skylander is they could have special illness like say a dragon couldn't have like for example a plant based skylander tree rex could get overgrowniteces while a crocgater can't.
3. Skylanders and how they age: skylanders generally don't show or look their age unless they are undead that is as it seems that after they reach twenty years old they stop showing signs of aging however that doesn't mean that they don't have a specific age. They just look youthful and young. The best way to tell a skylander's age is by their attitude towards things or just asking them however most undead skylanders like hex may have forgotten their age and is lost to time. The minis will age up eventually and look like their parents however depending of species the time that will take may be different.
4.Skylanders and the relationships to each other. Skylanders have a special bond with one another that could even be described as unnatural or mystical. They loyalty between skylanders are unweaving most of the time and rarely betray one another however that doesn't mean they don't get into fights or that everyone is close to each other as some "special" rotten eggs of the bunch are just jerks to some skylanders like chop chop is to food fight however that doesn't necessarily mean they hate each other(at least not in food fight's case that is) as they share respect for each other still. However chop chop is a bit different due to his views of being a hero and as to the werewolf au he views food fight as threat but food fight doesn't view him as that and is honestly hurt by what chop chop is doing even though they have their disagreements food fight would never go out of his way to hurt chop chop at least not willingly anyway and he thought chop chop at least felt the same way. All skylanders know each other and think of each other as family due to most of them being orphans themselves and look out for each other even when the going gets tough and when chaos and discord sews itself into existence they will standby each other til the very end.
5.Food fight and boomers hatred towards trolls: ah yes trolls aren't they just "lovely" totally not non caring towards the environment around them types of creatures. (That was sarcasm by the way). Trolls for years and even centres been knowing for their lack of compassion towards the environment often heavily polluting forest and oceans and testing on animals and plants as well. They go out of their way to ruin the environment often resulting in skylanders being created due to it. Tree rex was just simply chilling as a regular tree literally millions of years ago until the trolls polluted the erea so much that he became seintint and you know the rest. Boomer who is a troll himself was raised in a regular troll village learning trollish(the trolls language), learning how to make bombs and how to take out skylanders. Boomer was however different. Don't get me wrong he loves to blow up stuff but he didn't have a heart of evil. He soon joined the skylanders and to this very day is disgusted by the trolls behavior. Food fight is quite literally a victim of food testing as the trolls were polluting the ground with freaking gun powder or if we're talking about the WW au was created to poison the skylanders food source and to be evil however both versions of him share one thing. The horrors of plant and animal testing. While roaming his lab still as a young ardichoke while either escaping or fighting them depending on if it's the WW version of him and witnessed horrible treatment towards animals as the trolls were trying to turn them into weapons as well which as you probably could predict it made him VERY angry. Furious even which is rare for him to feel that way.he set the animals free and after finding out what the trolls has done to the environment over the years it only made him more angry. Making him have an extreme hatred towards them as even when he just sees one his first instinct is to attack them without question which normally wasn't a problem until the mirror of mystery that is as soon as he seen the trolls his instincts kicked into gear and he almost attacked the entire village which was peaceful due to his past experiences which turned into a form of PTSD for him. If it wasn't for dija vu he would of destroyed the whole village.

so i guess in your au spotlight and blackout would instead get a series 2 each in trap team
and on that account what would their wowpows be
Actually because of Spotlight coming out in Spyro's adventure and Blackout in Giants, they'd probably both each some reposes before hand.
And Because I consider Spotlight to be a "captain" of sorts from the first game squad, she along with Spyro, Flameslinger, Gill grunt, Trigger happy, Stealth elf, Hex, Whirlwind, Terrafin, and Ebon would all technically make it to series 4. With Blackout being a series 3 like Jet-vac.
Series 2 Spotlight: Blinding Gaze- While using your eye beam attack, press attack 2 (using a bumper) at the same time to make Spot light shoot lift energy across a wider area for more damage.
Gold wing Spotlight (Series 3): Ring Fountain- Throwing Halo rings into an active Heavenly Aura will cause a shower of smaller rings to be summoned. These rings explode into energy upon impact with the ground or an enemy.
Red Ring Spotlight (Series 4): While flying (all flying characters now just double tap jump to fly, so everyone can just have 3 attacks) Hold attack 2 and Spotlight will begin dropping glowing red rings in a trail behind her. After a short time or when enemies touch them, the rings will explode into shockwaves that throw enemies back.
Dream Splitter Blackout (Series 2): Dream splitter- Upon defeat Enemies now leave behind dark "dreams" which look like purple clouds. By using his dark blade attack to spin into these dreams, the split in two releasing their wickedness upon the other unfortunate enemies in the area in the form of homing shadow creatures or drifting dark clouds.
Void Storm Blackout (Series 3): Void Storm- after creating a Supernova black hole, you can press attack 2 to lob additional shadow orbs into it, making the black hole stronger and spreading it over a wider area. And enemies thought it was horrifying already!

This is a secondary blog to @skylands-archives and the one I'll use for role-play with any and all my friends interested in it.
I made the art with an avatar maker and lost the old file so had to get it off the amino I put it in.
As a portal master I've learned time is easily manipulated. I go around from timeline to timeline and take certain members of the Skylanders teams who would have passed on without a trace anyways and take them before they can be harmed. I bring them to my realm and give them understanding on the fact that they'd have passed on from the attack that would have destroyed them anyways so I gave them new life as champion to a new portal master who'll train them vigorously.

Behind the Voice Actors: Murfy
Welcome to installment 3 of behind the voice actors! this time we cover one of my favorite canon Rayman characters, Murfy!
(Author’s note before we get started: In the events we have pages like murfy here that feature voice actors i mentioned on other posts i will give you a directory to which installment that was, but i will still give you details on their roles. most of the time though it tends to be a copy/paste from that with a little editing.
also i can’t for the life of me find any credited actors for ANY of the rayman 2 english dubs of murfy. so i can’t add the english section for this one. i can’t find ANYTHING!)
Rayman 2 the great escape (French): Pierre-Alain De Garrigues
The same gentleman who did the voice of globox, Sssam the snake, the spyglass pirate, and clark in the french version of Rayman 2 did the voice for murfy as well!
I featured his voice roles over on the globox voice edition!
as i said over there Pierre-Alain De Garrigues doesn’t have much for credited voice roles, but to name some he’s done:
Dr. Funfrock, Dino-fly, and the horses in little big adventure: twinsen’s adventure,
Arantir in Dark Messiah: Might and magic,
The Nubian and Pairhy within Egypt II: the Heliopolis prophecy.
Rayman Arena (English): Eddie Crew
Otherwise known as JM Murphy, the reporter from Rayman Arena!
Eddie Crew has done mostly video game voices. he was:
Walter Sheridan and Steve Rowland in the video game: XIII
D’kor In Chronicles of Pern: Dragon Riders,
Phenrig and Aratrok in Dark Messiah: Might and Magic
Gilraen in Heroes of Might and Magic V
Janos Pekmester, Father Gregoriu Nijescu, and Herman Van Bergen In Dracula 3: The path of the dragon
Rayman Arena and Rayman 3 Hoodlum Havoc (French): Martial Le Minoux
Martial Le Minoux provided the voice for Murfy in Rayman Arena and Rayman 3 in the French version of the game
And he’s done quite a bit in French voice acting. Such as:
Hiei in Yu Yu Hakusho and Yu Yu Hakusho the golden seal,
The French voice actor for medic in team fortress 2,
French voice actor for Jet-Vac in Skylanders Academy,
The French Voice actor for Clank in Ratchet: Deadlocked
The Joker and Sub-Zero in the French dub of Mortal Kombat vs DC universe,
Marty From Madagascar Kartz and the Video game of Madagascar 3
Goering from Lupin the 3rd the pursuit of harimo’s treasure,
Aikuro Mikisugi in the French dub of Kill la Kill
The sculptor and Boggy billy in the French dub of Jak and Daxter the precursor legacy,
Roy Mustang in the Full Metal Alchemist anime and the Movie Conquerer of Shamballa
And the French Voice actor of Neo Cortex in Twinsanity,
As Well as Crunch Bandicoot and Neo within Mind over mutant and Crash of the titans,
The French voice for Pey’j from Boyond good and evil
And finally the riddler/ Edward nigma in Batman Arkham asylum, Arkham City and Arkham Knight
Rayman 3 hoodlum Havoc (English): Billy West
Another voice I featured over on my Post for Rayman’s voice actors for his job as the animated series version of our big nosed hero.
Billy West does my favorite version of murfy and is the same guy I use to this day for voice head canon and the personality I use for my rayman projects and such.
Billy West is one of the more recognizable voice actors. He’s done:
Ren Hoek and Stimpson J. Cat (Stimpy) in Ren and Stimpy
Elmer Fudd in the looney tunes show and Rabbits Run
He did Both Bugs Bunny and Elmer Fudd in things like: Bah Humduck a Looney tunes christmas, Looney Tunes Stranger than Fiction, bugs bunny lost in time video game, and the original space jam movie.
Phillip J. Fry, Professor Farnsworth (GOOD NEWS EVERYONE), and Zoidberg from Futurama
Sparx the dragonfly in The Legend of Spyro: The Eternal Night
Rancid Rabbit from Catdog
Woody Woodpecker from “from the earth to the moon” and would voice both Woody and Wally Walrus in the New woody Woodpecker show
Doug Funnie, Roger Klotz, and Coach Spitz from the original Doug tv show. the original one only. He stated himself that he had nothing to do with the remake they did.
Rayman Origins and Legends: Douglas Rand
When Rayman origins launched, he’s now the current voice actor for rayman...and pretty much every single character from that point.
Douglas Rand has done voice acting for Dragonball media English dubbing but it’s depending on the version of the dubs. Such as
Yamcha and Tien Shinhan from Tree of might
Trunks, Yamcha, Andriod 17 and Vegeta from the history of trunks;
Vegeta and Mr. Popo from the return of cooler
Broly and Future trunks from broly the legendary super saiyan
and many other roles within that franchise.
inside rayman specifically, he’s done many roles
(Some will be featured in future behind voice actor posts as well. so i will actually not feature those ones to prevent myself from sounding like a broken record)
he was the spyglass pirate in the great escape,
The teensies and Barbara the barbarian within Legends
the lines for Joe the Extra-Terrestrial in rayman 1, as well as the thingamajig magician.

i guess while i’m glad they didn’t stray too far from his original concept in his super charger form, i guess I’m just a big bummed that no variant of jet-vac has truly played on the fact that he used to have real wings. like. that was a major part of his backstory.
it sucks even more that we never saw any other REAL sky barons in the series. which definitely adds to why i hate that section of imaginators, only seeing robots as his battleship crew. yeah i can kind of get it for the radiant quests but the battleship sections? WACK. the absolute lifelessness that game has in regard to its lack of NPCs or other organisms other than enemies or the stray blobbers cameo was also wack but i’ll save that ramble about why i dislike imaginators as much as i do for another day.
anyway. hurricane jet vac’s more streamlined design was soothing after having to break down his series 3 alt 😭
#i didn’t reference his legendary alt at all for this one so i hope i didn’t make it too similar 😬#edits#skylanders edits#skylanders#skylanders superchargers#ssc#jet-vac#jet vac#hurricane jet-vac#hurricane jet vac

Skylanders Academy Season 3 Trailer Breakdown
Okay, so earlier the season 3 trailer dropped, and I am going to go through the entire thing, pointing out little things I noticed throughout it. (This will be an extremely long)
Establishing shot of the academy. So far, so good
Eon explaining that the need Spyro in order to fight Strykore, but...
Spyro’s fire power has been stolen by Strykore...
and has been replace with dark magic, making him evil.
Strykore is planning on destroying the Core of Light.
I don’t think we have gotten a solid view of the Core until now. HD design is good. Missing the Crucible of Ages, the Twin Spouts of Ocea Major Minor, and the Crystal Eye (I haven’t played Spyro’s Adventure in forever, but I still somehow remember those off the top of my head, wow), but otherwise very good. 7.8/10
Dark Spyro “sneaking” into the Academy
Everyone is happy to see Spyro, despite his significantly evil change in color scheme.
Stealth Elf kicking Fisticuff’s butt. Nice to see some non-Doom Raider villains.
Dark Spyro training with King Pen. King Pen has also been wearing a blindfold this entire time, so I would like to know what is happening there
Pop Fizz, Jet Vac, and Stealth Elf fighting Malefor. Great to see him again, too.
Dark Spyro doesn’t really care about what Eon is talking about until...
Eon announces that a mole was discovered in the Academy.
Dark Spyro is concerned about getting caught, but Strykore wants him to complete his mission.
Also
Eon also has this floating-head ability, although Eon uses it for more fun activities.
Kaos has become a pirate. He has Dreamcatcher, Pepper Jack, Wolfgang, and Chompy Mage (behind Wolfgang) as his crew. There is a significant lack of Golden Queen and Broccoli Guy, but I think I heard that there will be a new Doom Raider this season, so maybe they are all hanging out, away from Kaos.
Kaos’s power is growing. Also, if there is not an airship battle this season, I will be very disappointed.
Speaking of airships, we see Flynn’s ship from Giants, and ...
The great Captain Flynn makes his Premiere. (I still don’t like his model here)
Random troll battle arena that the Skylanders will most likely be forced to battle in.
Nice! More returning villains! Here we have the Fire Viper from Swap Force
WTF?!? Glumshanks can use magic now? It’s green magic, unlike Strykore’s purple magic, so I don’t know what is happening here.
Glumshanks is using his new magic on Crash, Dark Spyro, and Eruptor, so he seems to be against both Strykore and the Skylanders. It also looks like he redecorated Kaossandra’s castle with plenty of statues of himself. Also, Glumshanks either has a random lifelike statue of Eon, or he has somehow captured Eon.
Kaossandra randomly fighting Stealth Elf with a stick. Either, she is really desperate to defeat the Skylanders, or she is not used to fighting without her magic. Also, there is a random red spaceship in the background. Don’t really know what that’s for
Flynn almost crashes his ship (as usual).
but he pulls up at the last moment.
Spyro turns back to normal at some point.
Another new returning villain! Here we have an Arkeyan Conquer-tron. I really love the lighting in this scene.
It look a lot skinnier than they normally look in the games. Still pretty bad-ass.
Also, Strykore is just standing there. Why aren’t any of you Skylanders doing anything?!?
“Well, it could be worse... Nope, never mind, probably not.” XD
Reintroducing Crash Bandicoot (with a new voice actor this season) (even though we have already seen him in this trailer)
and introducing Coco (I literally know nothing about the Crash Bandicoot series, so I don’t know anything about her)
Eruptor is leading a prison riot. There is also a Goliath Drow amongst the group. Maybe this is Brock from Giants?
Eruptor fighting the Conquer-tron. Amazing
Glumshanks and Kaos battling it out with their powerful magics.
Spyro and Eruptor seem to be flying through a wormhole. Maybe we will get to see the inside of the Portal Network?
Bad Breath, Eruptor, Pop Fizz, Wind Up, Jet Vac, Stealth Elf and some Mabu are being exploded somewhere in the Academy.
Dark Spyro is apparently attacking something
Wait...
TWO SPYROS?!? WHAT?!?!!
Soooo many Glumshankses
“I hope you all enjoy group text chats!”
“DO WE EVER!” XD
Also, maybe this duplication/cloning machine is how we get the multiple Spyros.
CONCLUSION
There is so much that is happening in this trailer. So many new characters. So many action sequences/boss battles. Didn’t look like there are going to be any new Skylanders though. My personal hope/theory that the Earth Portal Master would be appearing does not look very likely, but anything can happen.
Overall, I have some pretty high hopes for this season. Can’t wait for it to come out later this month.

Pool Cleaner Robots: What is a Robot Pool Cleaner?
A modern-day robot pool cleaner is a small, wheeled (or caterpillar-tracked) machine that is used to scrub the floor and walls of a filled-up swimming pool. It sucks up detritus such as leaves and dirt as it moves along. More expensive robots also scrub the waterline, including waterline tiles. They contain filter bags that filter as finely as a cartridge filter and can polish the water quite nicely. They can move around in near-intelligent (nonrandom) patterns which helps them avoid getting stuck on things like ladders. Some of these robots can climb and clean steps.
Some robotic cleaners get a little excited in their cleaning jobs and may climb out of the pool and into your attached spa. There are three basic types of pool cleaners: suction cleaners, pressure cleaners, and robotic cleaners.
Suction-side cleaners are less convenient and more finicky than pressure-side cleaners, but they have the advantage of lower energy use. Pressure cleaners can be left permanently in the pool; however, robots should be removed after each use and stored out of direct sunlight.
How does a robot pool cleaner work?
Robotic pool cleaners all use low voltage electricity, which is delivered by a floating power cord that depends on the size of the pool. Power cords can get tangled, but the latest models contain anti-tangle swivels in their cords; this allows power to reach vacuum cleaning jets and scrubbing brushes, propelling the robot around the pool. Some older pool robots move mindlessly across the pool in a random pattern; however, more advanced (and expensive) models ‘learn’ the pool and clean it faster than less advanced models. Most robots should take about 90 minutes to clean an average-sized home pool.
Robotic Pool Cleaner: 5 Things You Should Know
1. Artificial Intelligence
Artificial intelligence can be applied to a variety of tasks, including pool cleaning. A robotic pool cleaner can navigate the pool and clean it more thoroughly than a human could. Some models are even controllable via remote control or smartphone app.
2. Water evacuation features
Most robots that operate in water cannot be easily removed from the pool. Some robotic pool cleaners, like Zodiac's VX40, know when they're being lifted out of the water, and use jets to fire the water out as rapidly as possible. This provides some minor thrust-like assistance and rapidly reduces the robotic pool cleaner's weight.
3. 4WD and caterpillar tracks
Different pools have different surfaces, which means that each requires a different kind of traction for safe cleaning. In cases like these, it’s best to choose a robotic pool cleaner that has caterpillar tracks, four-wheel drive, or large rollers for extra traction.
4. Algae removal and polishing of the water
All robotic pool cleaners attempt to remove algae, dirt, and leaves from the surfaces of pools and filter the water to some extent. However, more expensive models like the K-Bot Saturn Series SX3 are capable of cleaning pools' water to a much finer degree than cheaper models.
5. Capacity
One drawback of robots is the size of their internal vacuum bags and the amount of leaves and dirt they can hold. If the bag is big, the robot will be big and heavy. Pressure cleaners, such as the Jet-Vac, have a much larger capacity for leaves and gum nuts and are easier to empty.
If you are looking for a product to clean your swimming pool, reviewing the different models of robotic pool cleaners can help you make the right decision. There is a wide selection of models available on the market, and each has its own features that make cleaning your pool easier or more convenient.
