CP2105 dual UART breakout 🔌💻

Sometimes, you need more than one UART for interfacing with hardware. So instead of getting two CP2102 breakouts

you could use this CP2105

chip. We exposed the two CDC UARTs on either side plus the modem control signals so you could use this for bootloading various microcontrollers. Coming soon!

DIALOGUE

When using serial communication, the Arduino either receives or transmits data through the ports RX0 and TX0. For example we used the command serial.avaible to read if there is an incoming character (from the keyboard). If the program senses a valid byte it prints “type something else” in the the serial monitor. But if the user presses “B” it prints: “BLINK BLINK” and turns the physical LED on for a second. In that way serial communication allows us to connect the Arduino to the computer and thereby let them communicate with each other.
