Good morning on Saturday! I just realised how much I missed this view of the city early in the morning when the sun is shining and when the city awake. September Saturdays

“Kamu tuh insecure” ucapnya kepadaku sambil minum bersama.

Saat itu kamu sudah tau kelemahan terbesar ku, dimana tembok kepercayaan ku layaknya bangunan setinggi langit dan kokoh yang dijaga dengan baik pada akhirnya bisa dibuka, dan jujur aku memang merasa nyaman saat bersamamu.

Begitu pun, pendirian dan imanku yang goyah begitu saja. Hasrat yang tidak pernah kurasakan, pada akhirnya kurasakan sebelum waktu yang ku pikirkan. 

Aku berusaha memproses semua yang sudah terjadi dengan baik. Banyak perasaan yang kurasakan, takut, kecewa tapi ada juga rasa yang mungkin tidak pantas sama sekali kurasakan. 

Aku cuma manusia biasa yang masih suka lupa diri dan kurang bersyukur.

Singkat cerita, Tuhan mengingatkan dan melindungi ku dengan cara berbeda kali ini. Di hari yang berbeda, Tuhan benar menunjukkan bahwa kamu memang tidak pantas menjadi salah satu bagian dalam hidupku untuk jangka panjang.

Aku ingat hari itu, aku berdiri kaku ditengah dinginnya fajar. Mencoba menguatkan setiap tubuhku sambil menggendong tas berisikan laptop dan dua bundel revisian.

Tersadar, aku seperti tidak punya tempat pulang disaat aku seperti ini. Rasanya berat sekali untuk melangkahkan kaki, otak, hati dan jiwaku juga dipaksa bekerja dengan keras. 

“Kenapa bisa aku mempercayaimu?”

“Kenapa kamu orangnya?”

“Kenapa bisa kamu sejahat itu?”

“Kenapa kamu yang membuatku merasa aman dan kamu juga yang menghancurkan semuanya?”

Entah apa aku yang memang lemah, mudah jatuh cinta, kurang paham dengan kondisi seperti ini atau memang kamu yang terlalu kuat menyakitiku?

Memang seharusnya aku paham sedari awal, disaat aku menaruh semua rasa kepercayaan dan rasa sayangku kepada seseorang akan ada masanya, dimana aku jatuh sejatuhnya olehnya. Jatuh yang bisa membuatku bahagia atau terluka parah lagi.

September Saturday~

My oh my! Today is the LAST day of September! I can’t believe it. September flew by...I honestly feel like its still summer. Did you all accomplish some of you September intentions? I did! Not every single one of them, but I went through with most of them, and I can’t wait to make my list of October intentions :) I’m having a difficult time actually believing that tomorrow is October, its been so nice out and still feels pretty summery here in NYC. But, I’m excited, I love October and all the fall festivities that go with it. From here on out the festivities for the next three-four months are so much fun! So only good things to look forward to! How are you all going to spend your last day of September Saturday? I’m going to head to my local farmers market in a little bit, then go for a run, buy some succulents, and meet up with a new friend for coffee. A fun day ahead of me! One of my September intentions was to smile at people and grace them with my happiness. I feel like I always end up smiling at kids and babies lol I love kids and babies! They usually smile back too :) But whenever I smile at them, usually there parent smiles too. Its fun to spread the happiness. I also smiled at everyone I met, whether it was holding the door for someone, checking out with a cashier, or passing someone who looked cool on the street. Smiling is honestly the most simple act of kindness, and its kind of fun to see who is sweet, they smile back, or who is sour, they don’t smile back. Usually, a lot of people smile back, because how can you resist a smile?! I’m still on the hustle with my agency and possibly a new agency, but I’m feeling good about it. I know that there is good to come. I actually worked a lot and went on a lot of castings this September which was a huge improvement. I really stayed mindful this September, I never let my consciousness get the best of me. I didn’t think about the future, and didn’t dwell on the past. Instead I stayed focused on each and every moment I was living in. This really helped me stay balanced. Mindfulness is so important to me. I’ve realized how much it helps me with my anxiety. Yes, I still anxious some days, but usually its just about being able to get everything I need to do done. I never let it get to me though. I was able to let my anxious feelings quickly pass over. Overall, September has been a success and I can’t wait to see what October has in store for me!! Start thinking of your October intentions...I’m already starting to jot mine down:) Most of all, have a lovely last day of September and go outside and enjoy your Saturday wherever you may be.
