What if domestic darling, sephiroth and the triplets go out for the nice market stalls in town and darling is hit on by one of the market stall owners. What would Sephiroth do? And how would the triplets react?
What if Sephiroth was at a very close nearby stall to get something very quickly and darling was just waiting nearby with the triplets because sephiroth instructed the triplets to look after their mum and while he was not by her side and she was hit on by a passerby, do you think the triplets would tell the man to go away and that heir mum is taken while one of the triplets would report to Sephiroth and tell him put that guy in his place or something?
Btw I love your writing and works !! Love the name miracle cutie for Aerith!! <3
Thank you and thank you!
Sephiroth is naturally hypervigilant, so anyone who does anything, like starting a conversation with him or his family, instantly grabs his attention. However, he has become comfortable with his domestic life and developed coping mechanisms. Still, his SOLDIER and JENOVA instincts remain.
Scenario A - Man hits on darling in front of triplets and Sephiroth
Sephiroth's fuse would definitely be lit. Usually, a single death glare from him would be enough to put an end to situations like these. Who would want to mess with a muscular, almost 7-foot-tall alien hybrid? And if the man kept continuing, regardless? Then he would become curt with the man, telling him to get to the point and do what's needed of him. You could also probably hear faint strains of One Winged Angel playing in the background as Sephiroth's sword hand twitches, so tempted to summon his Masamune.
Now, the triplets? They are more reactive than their father, their actions are not as extreme as his. However, since Sephiroth is with them and Darling, the most they'll do is tell the man that's *their* mom he's flirting with. 👿
They pretty much default to supporting Sephiroth on whatever he does to the guy. Despite the troubles they give him, they do love and respect their father in their own unique way. If the guy hadn't left by now, he'd definitely do it now.
Scenario B- man flirts with darling in front of triplets
In this case, the triplets are forming a wall around their mommy to deflect the attention onto them. Yazoo grabs her attention with a fake concern of his while Kadaj and Loz vocally rails into the guy for messing with their mom. They would scare him by revealing that she's not just married to the greatest swordsman ever, but also that very same guy standing right behind him. 😈
At this point, the guy flirting with darling folds. Dealing with both creepy kids and their angry father isn't worth the stress anymore. Sephy would be so proud of his boys, instantly rushing to their mother's defense.

Sephihair vs. Choppers
I was just writing a scene in more detail where Sephiroth had to board a helicopter which was already running, and realized that the wonderful goof nugget has probably done this enough times that he knows he has to be careful with his majestic floof.
Much like when he poops, he must gather all that up and carry it, or stuff it down his coat, and hunch like Quasimodo to get his giraffe ass on board.
Honestly, with how long and flappy his coat is, he may have had to hold that to his butt with one hand, and his hair with the other hand, while hunched and waddling to the door.
The real reason he learned how to dismiss and summon Masamune was so he could have two hands.
His bangs can't be contained. No wonder he went full Nibelheim.
It's sephi-unfair, his sephi-hair gets sephi-everywhere

The plot would somehow summon Sephiroth into RAADSC. But before Sephy could do anything and consequently perish under Izuku's hand, a blond missile would appear and Cloud's feet would impact Sephiroth's back at approximately Fuck You X100 kilotons of short person rage. Cloud would then collect Sephiroth, flip off the plot, bow to Izuku in apology and disappear.
I cannot validate this headcanon as Sephiroth is the one breaking into universes to chase after Cloud, not the other way around.

Jenova x Lucrecia for the crack ship ask game? That's the most ridiculous ship that I know in this fandom.

sephiroth: yayyy thank you mother!!
lucrecia: you’re way too soft on him he’s never going to learn
jenova: *hiss bubble shriek gurgle*
lucrecia: *giggle* knock it off you old sweet talker. hey! keep those tentacles to yourself missy i’m cooking dinner!
what would their ship name be? jenecia? lucrova? amazing ship, terrible name-portmanteau potential

The Power of Tenacity Shinryu Quest
Also known as The Power of Tenacity Pt. 14 SHINRYU. This fight has 1 wave with 2 enemies, the Crane Cruels.
For this fight, my team was Penelo from Final Fantasy XII, Sephiroth, and Sice from Final Fantasy Type-0 with The Brothers as my summon.
My Calls were Cid Raines’s from Final Fantasy XIII, Lunafreya Nox Fleuret’s from Final Fantasy XV, and Seymour Guado’s from Final Fantasy X.
Raines’s Calls initiate launches and manipulate the turns of the party. Seymour’s Calls debuff the enemies. Lunafreya’s regular Call heals the party while her LD Call can give the party multiple turns in a row depending on their position.
Have Penelo’s 15cp, 35cp, Ex, LD, BT, and FR fully MLB. Her Ex has been Purpled. Her Burst has been Greened. She has her High Armor, and it’s been Blued.
Penelo has her Bloom Stone. She has triple perfect Artifacts and triple real Spheres.
All of her Summon Boards, Force Enhancements, and Character Enhancement Boards have been completed.
Penelo is boosted for this fight. She’s currently equipped with my Level 5 of 5 Dagger Ultima Weapon.
Penelo is a really good support slash buffer slash healer. She can deal pretty good damage too, especially while equipped with an Ultima Weapon. She can also remove the party’s debuffs.
She has instant turn rate moves that buff and battery the party and quickly charge the force gauge. Her Ex charges fairly fast. She provides really good party-wide buffs and auras.
Have Sice’s 15cp, 35cp, Ex, LD, and FR fully MLB. Her Ex has been Purpled. She doesn’t have her own Burst weapon yet.
Have Sice’s High Armor, and it’s been Realized to 0/3. All of her Summon Boards and her LD Boards have been completed.
She has her Bloom Stone. She has triple perfect Artifacts and triple RF Spheres. She has up to Level 15 of her Force Enhancements.
Sice is boosted for this fight. She’s currently equipped with my Level 5 of 5 Special or Unique-type Ultima Weapon. Sice is a DPS who deals dark elemental damage. She also has traps in her kit.
I ended up spending hundreds of tickets trying to get Sice’s Force weapon. It wasn’t the plan at all but I ended up using all of the tickets that I had on hand. Unfortunately, wasn’t able to get Sice’s FR at all.
I thought that I’d never be able to get it unless I resort to using my gems, which I didn’t want to do, certainly not after I’d already wasted hundreds of tickets on Sice’s FR banner.
But after getting a couple more tickets, I found myself going back to Sice’s FR banner. This was a bad idea, but couldn’t seem to help it. Ended up using the tickets that I just got.
Thankfully, after a few 10-draws or so, I actually got a Force orb.
Was really happy when I saw said orb, especially once it turned into my very first copy of Sice’s FR.
Hell, yes! Finally! So glad that I was eventually able to get a copy of Sice’s FR even if it took me hundreds of tickets before it came home.
At least I’m not walking away from this banner empty-handed. This 10-draw even gave me a dupe of Lann & Reynn’s (from World of Final Fantasy) LD weapon.
Before getting Sice’s FR, she didn’t have any of her Force Enhancements and I hadn’t completed her LD Board. She had her High Armor but I hadn’t bothered to Realize it yet.
After getting Sice’s FR, spent the resources needed to fully MLB it. Then I also went ahead and completed Sice’s LD Board, got some of her Force Enhancements and Realized her High Armor to 0/3.
Don’t really need all of that for this fight since Sice isn’t my main DPS but I’m planning to solo one of the Dare 2 Defy Shinryu quests with her. Hopefully, her current state will be enough to solo said fight otherwise I’ll have to see about building her some more or bringing another char to go with her.
Anyway, there’s a time-limited mission that wants us to clear the The Power of Tenacity Shinryu quest with Sice in our party and without using a friend support. So I thought I’d try to do my Sephi clear and my Sice clear at the same time.
Brought a friend support Penelo but have no intention of bringing her into battle. Just borrowed her because she has max Force Enhancements.
Not sure if having a friend with max Force Enhancements will help make my force gauge charge faster even if they aren’t brought into battle but thought I’d give it a try anyway just in case. LOL.
Since I have 2 boosted chars in my party, started this fight with my force gauge already partially filled.
Had Penelo spam her instant turn rate moves to quickly get my force gauge to 100%.
Had Sice use Seymour’s Call, her Additional Ability and then her LD to set up her traps. Her traps went off every turn and dealt pretty good damage, especially since she was boosted here and was equipped with my maxed out Special-type Ultima Weapon.
Had Sephiroth activate his BT+ finisher and use Lunafreya’s LD Call as well as his Additional Ability.
One of the effects of Sephiroth’s BT+ was setting the brave of all enemies to 1 for 4 turns. This made it easy to just keep on breaking and delaying them.
On Penelo’s next turn, had her activate her FR and her BT+ finisher. Sephiroth and Sice then got another turn.
So by the time I went into Penelo’s Burst+ phase, only have 6 turns of force time left. The HP damage bonus was at 449%. The enemies were down to 78% and 81% HP.
Made sure to use Raines’s LD Call before going into Penelo’s Burst+ mode. This allowed her to initiate launches every time she moved. She also batteried the party for these launches.
One of the effects of Penelo’s BT+ is that her HP attack will be turned into this special move called Fatal Dance. This deals a lot of damage so just had Penelo spam this move.
I was expecting Sice’s traps to go off during Penelo’s BT+ mode but to my surprise and annoyance, that didn’t happen at all. Ah, well.
Anyway, by the time I only have 1 turn of force time left, the HP damage bonus was at 774%. The enemies were down to 38% and 47% HP. Penelo’s attack took them down to 31% and 34% HP.
After Penelo’s Burst+ phase ended, was back to waiting for my force gauge to charge back to 100% again. Had Penelo spam some of her instant turn rate moves to speed up the charging of my force gauge.
By the time my force gauge was charged back to 100% again, the enemies were down to 17% and 20% HP. Their force gauge was at 90.2%.
Activated Penelo’s FR then just had my chars spam their moves. IIRC, the enemies had yet to get a turn.
Soon, the enemies were down to 3% HP. On Penelo’s next turn, had her spam her instant turn rate moves a few times to increase the HP damage bonus by a lot.
Now have 3 turns of force time left and the HP damage bonus was at 881%. So Penelo’s attack was more than enough to finish off both enemies at the same time, ending the battle on turn 25. Didn’t even get to use my summon. LOL.
Got the score and all the other mission requirements. This team did really well even though it was annoying how Sice’s traps didn’t go off during Penelo’s Burst+ phase.
Glad I was able to get my Sephiroth clear and Sice ticket mission clear at the same time. This fight was pretty easy.
Conclusion
So, what about you? Which chars did you use to complete these Shinryu quests? Feel free to share your thoughts and opinions by leaving a comment below or by reblogging or replying to this post.

Alinea Skylark
Basics-
A.K.A: Linea, Ali
Age: Somewhere in her early 30’s after the whole of Endwalker
Nameday: 18th Sun of the 1st Astral Moon
Race: Wildwood Elezen
Gender: Female
Orientation: Tall men who deal out witty, sarcastic remarks like their life depends on it
Profession: Adventurer, (Wannabe Retired) Warrior of Light
Physical Aspects-
Hair: Medium long brown hair with purple tips that’s pulled back into a high ponytail to avoid getting in her way during fights. She rarely leaves it down and only does so when she’s completely relaxed.
Eyes: A rich purple color, than have an otherworldly glow to them
Skin: She’s fair skinned, but is able to get a nice tan without burning too much.
Tattoos/Scars: She doesn’t have any major scars after her battle at Ultima Thule and being covered in starlight across her body, which she essentially counts as a tattoo and would never cover up. Before that, she did have an array of faded cuts and scars across her body from her fights, but none that she deemed particularly worthy of attention.
Family-
Parents: She unfortunately has no memory of her parents, or any family.
Siblings: None that she is aware of. The twins are essentially her surrogate siblings and she is fiercely protective of them.
Grandparents: Unfortunately, still no memory, and no one has ever tried to claim relation to her, which she is grateful for.
In-Laws/Other: Unfortunately Estinien’s family has also passed away, but there is Alberic that they’re both close with.
Alinea does share a very close relationship with the de Fortemps family, and views Edmont as a father figure. He’s delighted to finally have a girl in the family and loves the fact that she can keep all his boys in line.
Alinea is in a romantic relationship with Estinien. They spend a lot of time between Radz at Han, Alinea’s home in the Mist ward, and her island. They normally go the latter when they want to be alone and undisturbed by anyone. Alphinaud and Alisae have full access to Alinea’s home in Mist, so they often stop by.
Pets:
Yes (just yes haha)
Notable mentions however:
Lumen her Chocobo and faithful companion. He’s extremely well trained, but Alinea is still terrified he’ll get hurt in battle, so she tries to make him mainly heal from a safe distance away.
She has many animals in her care that she absolutely loves. She tries to not choose favorites, but she has a very special place in her heart for her fox.
She has two carbuncles that are summoned at all times. The pink one is called Sephy while the purple one is called Demetri. They are very protective of both each other and Alinea. Estinien knows to never be on their bad side and has been seen giving them extra treats to butter them up.
Skills-
Hand and Land: She’s a pretty deft hand at most of the jobs she sets her mind to, but she enjoys weaving and cooking the most. She finds them both extremely therapeutic and she also likes that she can make gifts for those closest to her. She’s fascinated by alchemy, but she has to really focus to not mix-up ingredients when she has to make concoctions. She also enjoys being out in the land, but finds more joy in botany, though she doesn’t have the greenest thumb around. She knows how to cultivate the land though and how to set things up to thrive on her own.
Combat: She is a Paladin first and foremost and will always love protecting others. She’s more in tune with the teachings of a Dark Knight though, so she’ll often switch between the two. She turned to being a summoner after coming back from the First with high anxiety, but she also finds dancing to be enjoyable. After striking up a deal with an Amaro back on the first, she sets herself the goal of mastering every fighting job she hears about, and aims to get the highest she can. She can do some healing, but prefers to either be in the front lines as a tank, or be in a ranged position, to call out mechanics to those in front and be able to help out with shields and resing.
Hobbies: She loves swimming and with the Kojin’s blessing enjoys it even more now. She loves long baths and pampering herself after her travels. She collects tea blends and dried flowers from the places she’s gone. She’s trying to get into drawing and painting from Alphinaud, but she’s still got a long way to go. She enjoys braiding and playing with people’s hair.
Traits-
Most Positive: She has a strong sense of right and wrong and once she’s set her mind on something being the best course of action, she will continue through with it until completion. (Or someone physically stops her from achieving it).
Most Negative: She cannot control her facial expressions. She has to work so hard on keeping a neutral face in important meetings that half the time she misses what was discussed. She also is very passionate, so has to be careful to not speak her mind.
Likes-
Colors: Purple, Silver, Black, and White
Smells: Fresh Bread, Jasmine, Ocean, Moss/Damp Forest
Textures: Silk and satin dresses/sheets, Pumice stone, Animal Fur, Hair
Drinks: Hot tea, Cocoa, Milk
Foods: Bread, Pastries (scones of her own making are her favorite), Breakfast Foods, Fresh Fruit
Other-
Vices: None, except sometimes being a bit stingy on money when it comes to teleportation.
Mount Issuance: Lumen was her Mount from the Maelstrom when she joined and who she loves dearly.
Been Arrested: None that she can at least remember. She’s amazed she was never arrested in Ishgard just for being in association with Alphinaud and Tataru, but she’s glad things worked out that way. She’s sure she would have been arrested if she actually did punch Fourchenault, but she wouldn’t have cared a bit.

🗣 How about Sunny and Mikleo?
✧˚ · . ❝The people of Balacruf were devote worshippers of Sylph! The summon spirit of Wind, or rather spirits as they are a trio consisting of Sephie, Fairess, and Yutis. This Mausoleum is their sacred grounds and contains their history. If you read this inscription it talks about King Cleo the third.❞
✧˚ · . ❝If he was reborn as the King of Wind does that mean there exists seraphim in these lands as well?❞
✧˚ · . ❝Seraphim aren't reborn beings in this world but given what you've told me about the Desolation I'd assume not. The people of Balacruf believed they were born from the wind and when they died they returned to it to be born again. A cycle of rebirth. King Cleo the third was said to have been a great and kind ruler beloved heavily by the people and as he had the power to form pacts, allowing him to call upon Sylph, the people assumed the spirits thought of him as their king as well.❞
✧˚ · . That made sense, but it'd have been cool if there was another realm with people like his own, that way he could discover more about his kind, What makes someone able to form pacts? Is it like becoming a shepherd?❞
✧˚ · . ❝No, it requires one to have elven blood, but not all elves can form pacts so there is something else to it. But to form a pact one has to prove both their strength and heart. Only those with a good heart are allowed to call upon the spirits' powers. My childhood friend was a summoner!❞
✧˚ · . Even if it wasn't exact it still sounded sort of like a shepherd to him but with extra steps. ❝Your childhood friend must've been a great person. Say, are there any other ruins dedicated to spirits? I'm so bragging to Sorey about them.❞
#✧˚ · . mikleo#✧˚ · . sun#I cut off the ruin nerd talks early before it devolves to Eizen joining in on it

Hiya, sweetie! 💜
may I ask for a prompt for your Domestic AU, please? It's something that happens very early when Darling and Sephy just managed to settle down after they finally escaped Shinra.
Darling is pregnant with her firstborn and of course, the anxiety runs high on both sides. But there's one night where she couldn't sleep and decided to go into the living room by herself. Her doubts, if she was even able to become a good mother, plagued her mind... it was one of those nights where such emotional turmoil hits unexpectedly hard out of nowhere. Of course, Sephiroth is instantly on high alert when he noticed that she's not sleeping beside him anymore, so he decides to look for her and finds her eventually, crying.
How would he approach and comfort her?
Thank you so much in advance and keep up with your amazing work, sweetie 💜
Thank you, I love you so much, my wonderful friend and supporter. This is for you~!
Pairing: Fluffy Sephiroth/Domestic Darling
Content Warning: None.
Sephiroth's heart sank as he noticed the empty space beside him on the bed. His slit eyes narrowed as he sat up slowly.
He couldn't help but assume the worst. It's an unfortunate carryover from his past SOLDIER life.
He knows you wouldn't abandon him, as he wouldn't do to you, yet the storm of emotions within still raged, thundering in his chest.
With a stern face, he slowly rose out of bed, feeling the temptation to summon his Masamune.
Sephiroth's darkness whispered to him, urging him to keep you close, for who knows if one day you might actually leave him?
Gritting his teeth, he raised a hand to his temple, determined to ignore the dark whispers.
When he found you in the living room, tears streaming down your face, his expression softened.
His heart simultaneously soared with relief, grateful that you hadn't deserted him, yet it also felt heavy with tinges of sorrow at seeing you in such distress.
Sephiroth sat aside you, his caring eyes never leaving you as you quietly sobbed. His thumb came forward, tenderly wiping away your tears.
"Darling, what's wrong?" He whispered, pulling you into his embrace.
"I'm sorry," you whispered, your voice quivering as you struggled to speak. But the weight of your sorrow was too heavy, and your sobs erupted loud.
"Don't worry, I'm here for you. Always..." Sephiroth cooed, slightly he gently swayed back and forth, cradling you in his strong arms.
You melted into his arms, the lingering fragrance of lavender from his hair wrapped around you.
Finally, after a while, you whispered your worries to him about the future, your fears of failing as a mother to your unborn child and as a wife to him.
He only listened to your words, passing on no judgement. He felt a pang of guilt, realizing how much emotional labor you have done for him. He was silent for some time, struggling to find his words before he spoke again.
"You've done so much for me, my love," he whispered, his voice soft and tender. "You introduced me to a life outside of Shinra, a life I had always yearned for," he continued, his voice filled with emotion as his hand gently caressed your pregnant belly. "When they turned their backs on me, you remained by my side... I know that your love will extend effortlessly to our little one."
He tenderly lifted your chin, ensuring your eyes met his as he spoke, "We're in this together, right? I want to love you just as you love me." His lips curved into a gentle smile.
You returned the smile, assuring him you are in this together, and you won't keep your struggles hidden from him any longer.
You two spent the rest of the night wrapped in each other's embrace, refusing to let go.
Because you two were one, bound as lovers, friends, and soulmates.

Note
Cloud was an accidental victim of the Plot's plot to summon Sephiroth as he was trying run Sephiroth out of the Smash universe when the Plot summoned Sephy. That's why he was there. Bad luck. He wasn't chasing the silver haired troll of the ages. That's why he flipped of the plot.
Okay, that I can accept.

Conclusion
Sephiroth from Final Fantasy VII
My Sephiroth from Final Fantasy VII (#ad) is Level 90 and Crystal Level 90. His 15cp, 35cp, Ex, LD, and BT are fully MLB. His Ex is at Ex+ 3/3 or Purple. His Burst weapon has been upgraded to BT+ 3/3 or Green.
Seph’s currently equipped with a Level 5 of 5 Greatsword Ultima Weapon. His High Armor’s been upgraded to Blue. His Summon Boards, Character Enhancement Boards, and Force Enhancements have been completed. He has his Bloom Stone.
Sephi has 3 Attack 108 with Max Brave 330 Artifacts and 3 Attack 108 with One-Winged Angel Boost★★ (Raises INT BRV, MAX BRV, ATK, DEF by 5% if HP is MAX at start of last wave) Artifacts.
Sephiroth is equipped with the following real A Spheres:
Edgar Roni Figaro’s (from Final Fantasy VI) Debuff Power
Increases BRV damage dealt by 10% while an enemy is debuffed
Cloud Strife’s (from Final Fantasy VII) Critical Power
Raises BRV damage dealt with critical hits by 10%
Vayne Carudas Solidor’s (from Final Fantasy XII) Broken Power
When attacking target afflicted with Break: • Increases BRV damage dealt by 10%
I talk more about this in other posts, but I’ve been using Sephiroth for Lufenia (level 200) and Lufenia+ (level 250) quests basically ever since I got his LD and BT even back when he wasn’t that good at all. I’d like to keep using him even for Shinryu quests.

I talk more about these fights in other posts.
Sage of a Distant Moon Shinryu Quest
Also known as Sage of a Distant Moon SHINRYU. This fight has 1 wave with 2 enemies, the Grudge Lords. They have 85 million HP each. They have attacks that buff themselves and attacks that debuff your chars.
As the force gauge of the enemies increases, the attack and brave damage of your chars will be lowered.
Once the force gauge of the enemies reaches 100%, they will warp their turn to the front and then they’ll try to use this move that will instantly KO the party. To stop this from happening, they need to be disabled such as by being paralyzed.
Upon reaching certain HP percentage thresholds (89%, 59%, and 29%), the enemies will warp their turn and try to use a single target attack that will instantly KO a char. To stop this from happening, they need to be disabled such as by being paralyzed.
Upon reaching certain HP percentage thresholds (69%, 49%, and 29%), the enemies will instantly deal HP damage that’s equal to 90% of their target’s current HP. They will then heal themselves based on the HP damage dealt by this attack.
For this fight, my team was Sephiroth, Kain Highwind from Final Fantasy IV, and Machina Kunagiri from Final Fantasy Type-0 with Pandemonium as my summon.
My Calls were Leo Cristophe’s from Final Fantasy VI, Shantotto’s from Final Fantasy XI, and Keiss’s from Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers.
Leo’s Calls inflict an enemy with a debuff that increases the damage output of the party. Shantotto’s LD Call inflicts the enemies with a paralyze debuff. Keiss’s LD Call inflicts the enemies with a debuff that will battery the party based on HP damage dealt during launches.
Have Kain’s and Machina’s 15cp, 35cp, Ex, LD, FR, and BT fully MLB. Their Ex weapons have been Purpled. Their Burst weapons have been Greened. Their High Armors have been Blued.
They have their Bloom Stones. They have triple perfect Artifacts and triple real Spheres.
All of their Summon Boards, Force Enhancements, and Character Enhancement Boards have been completed.
Kain is equipped with my Level 5 of 5 Spear-type Ultima Weapon while Machina has my Level 4 of 5 Short Sword Ultima Weapon.
Machina is boosted for this fight. He’s a really good physical DPS who can work in both rushdown and counter or off-turn comps. That’s because he can counter and deal off-turn damage.
Kain is a physical DPS who also offers a bit of support. His main gimmick is being able to fly up into the air once he has max stacks of his overhead buff.
While in the air, he’s basically invincible since he can’t be attacked or hit with debuffs. This does mean that he can’t be buffed either. Everything will just miss him while he’s in the air.
While Kain’s in the air, he will attack and deal off-turn damage every time someone on the field does something.
Kain got the first turn. Had him use his LD to instantly get max stacks of his overhead buff. This has instant turn rate so he got to move again. Had him use Keiss’s LD Call as well as his Additional Ability. Then had him use his BT+ finisher to end his turn.
Sephiroth got the second turn. Had him use both of Shantotto’s Calls as well as his Additional Ability. Then I activated his BT+ finisher, Heaven’s Light.
One of the effects of Sephiroth’s BT+ is that it will set the brave of all enemies to 1 for 4 turns. This will make it easy to just keep on breaking them and delaying their turns.
On Machina’s turn, IIRC, had him use his LD ability to apply his debuff on the enemies. Then I switched him out for the friend support Selphie Tilmitt from Final Fantasy VIII that I borrowed.
Selphie can quickly charge the force gauge with her instant turn rate moves. Had her spam those moves for 4 turns. For her 5th and last turn, had her use her LD.
Selphie’s LD delays all the enemies by 2 turns and inflicts them with a debuff that makes them launchable. Now all chars will be able to initiate launches. This debuff will also battery the party based on damage dealt during these launches.
Selphie was able to get my force gauge to around 87.6% before she left. So had to wait for a few more turns before my force gauge finally got fully charged.
On Kain’s turn, had him jump or fly up into the air already so he can start dealing off-turn damage.
When my force gauge was nearing 100%, had Machina use his LD, Ex, Additional Ability then his BT+ finisher. Once my force gauge was fully charged, had Machina use his FR.
By turn 10, the enemies were down to 84% HP. Have 9 turns of force time left and the HP damage bonus was at 205%.
It was Sephiroth’s turn. Still have 2 turns left with his BT+ effect. IIRC, had him use his LD ability, Scintilla.
After that, it was Machina’s turn again. Had him use Leo’s LD Call. IIRC, I used Leo’s regular Call earlier.
Since Selphie applied the debuff from her LD, I’ve been cancelling all launches because I didn’t want the enemies to drop below 90% HP. Once the enemies drop to 89% HP, they will instantly warp their turns and KO a char unless they’ve been paralyzed.
They’re currently paralyzed thanks to the debuff from Shantotto’s LD Call but I didn’t want to use that up yet in case Machina fails to kill the bosses during his BT+ phase.
However, thanks to all the off-turn damage from Kain once he was up in the air plus the on-turn damage from Machina and Sephiroth, especially once my force time was up, the enemies ended up dropping below 90% HP anyway.
They weren’t able to do anything since they were paralyzed which was great but now I’m hoping that Machina will be able to finish them off by the end of his BT+ mode otherwise they’re gonna warp their turns again.
Anyway, by the time I went into Machina’s Burst+ phase, the enemies were down to 79% HP. Have 7 turns of force time left and the HP damage bonus was at 253%.
The conditions for increasing the HP damage bonus of Machina’s FR are as follows:
+5% when party member selects melee attack on party member’s own turn
+5% after melee additional attack triggered not on party member’s own turn
+20% when melee attack selected on own (Machina’s) turn or after own melee additional attack triggered not on own turn
+40% when party member uses ability transformed from BRV attack, HP attack on party member’s own turn
+15% when party member acts with non-standard turn rate on party member’s own turn
While Machina’s BT+ effect is up, he gets a special HP attack called Furious Blades (Burst). Just spammed this move, alternating between the enemies.
All the launches plus the off-turn damage from Kain made it so that, by the time Machina was about to cast Illuminating the Future, his finishing Burst+ move, the bosses were down to 8% and 11% HP.
Have 1 turn of force time left and the HP damage bonus was at 763%. Machina, and I guess Kain and Sephiroth helped too since they did participate in the launches and Kain dealt all that off-turn damage too, was able to deal 138037466 total HP damage during his Burst+ mode.
The battle ended on turn 12. Was being greeted by the victory screen soon after Machina’s Burst+ phase was over. Got the score and all the other mission requirements. This team did really well.
Sage of a Distant Moon Shinryu Quest with Fusoya
There’s a time-limited mission that wants us to clear the Sage of a Distant Moon Shinryu quest with Fusoya from Final Fantasy IV in our party and without using a friend support.
My Fusoya isn’t built at all. Have 1 copy of his Ex that hasn’t been limit broken. Have 1 copy of his 15cp that’s been limit broken once. Missing the rest of his weapons.
He has his Bloom Stone. He has up to his second armor but his second armor isn’t fully maxed yet. He has no Spheres. He has some Artifacts but they’re not all perfect for him.
He doesn’t have any of his Summon Boards, Force Enhancements, or Character Enhancement Boards completed at all.
Currently have him equipped with his Ex weapon. Since I didn’t bother to pull for Fusoya, don’t really know much about him or how he works in this game. Apparently, he can paralyze with his second skill though even if it isn’t maxed out at all.
My first clear of this fight made it seem pretty easy so I thought clearing this quest with Fusoya wouldn’t be that hard either. Because basically, I’ll just be replacing Sephi with Fusoya, right? Except I can’t use a friend support if I want to clear the aforementioned time-limited mission, and that really makes a huge difference.
The team I went with was Machina, Fusoya, and Selphie with Pandemonium as my summon. My Calls were - IIRC, they were basically the same as the ones I brought for my Seph clear except I replaced Keiss with a different Call since I’ll have Selphie in the party and she can battery the party.
I remember bringing Shantotto’s Call again which seemed like a waste since Fusoya can paralyze as well.
Brought a friend support Machina but have no intention of bringing him into battle. Just borrowed him because he has max Force Enhancements.
Not sure if having a friend with max Force Enhancements will help make my force gauge charge faster even if they aren’t brought into battle but thought I’d give it a try anyway just in case. LOL.
Anyway, had Selphie spam her instant turn rate skills to quickly charge my force gauge. Also kept on cancelling all the launches like I did in my first clear.
So by the time I went into Machina’s Burst+ phase, the enemies were only down to 93% and 91% HP.
Have 7 turns of force time left and the HP damage bonus was at 177%. Even with all the launches, not having Kain’s off-turn damage plus his and even Sephi’s BT+ auras really made a noticeable difference.
The result was that by the time Machina was about to cast Illuminating the Future, the enemies were only down to 52% HP. Have 1 turn of force time left and the HP damage bonus was at 687%.
So of course Machina wasn’t able to finish the fight after his Burst+ mode. I thought things should be fine since the enemies were currently paralyzed.
The enemies warped their turns to the front. They were now at 41% and 42% HP. They automatically used their move that deals HP damage equal to 90% of their target’s current HP twice even though they were paralyzed.
This was really annoying but at least no one died. Everyone’s HP got really low though.
But the main problem was the move of the enemies that will KO a char. Since they were paralyzed, was able to avoid the first instance (the one for the 89% HP threshold) of this move.
But after that, the enemies warped again and they used this move for the second time (for the 59% HP threshold). Since they weren’t paralyzed anymore, this attack hit their target. In this case, their target was Machina so he ended up dying.
Argh! So frustrating. Now I have to try this again. I thought maybe having a maxed out Ultima Weapon might be better so I switched out Machina for Jack Garland from Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin.
My Jack is as fully built as my Machina. His weapon type is a greatsword so unlike Machina, I can equip him with a Level 5 of 5 Ultima Weapon.
Jack is a really good physical, non-elemental DPS. He deals more damage if the enemies are broken. He’s also capable of having them go into negative brave.
Even with Jack though, was still having trouble with this fight. Can’t seem to finish off the enemies by the end of Jack’s Burst+ phase so they always manage to kill one of my chars.
Have had to retry this fight for like 2 or 3 times before I was finally able to get the win. Even when I stopped cancelling launches in the beginning, was still having trouble. Eff this quest.
For my winning try, aside from not cancelling launches anymore, also let the enemies drop below 89% and let them have a turn while they’re paralyzed. Then I made sure to have Fusoya paralyze them again before going into Jack’s BT+ mode.
When I went into Jack’s Burst+ phase, the enemies were down to 80% HP. Have 7 turns of force time left and the HP damage bonus was at 303%. The force gauge of the enemies was at 65.1%.
The conditions for increasing the HP damage bonus of Garland’s FR are as follows:
+20% when party member selects melee attack on party member’s own turn
+20% when enemy afflicted with Break present on party member’s own turn
+30% when enemy with less than 0 BRV present on party member’s own turn
By the time I was about to cast Soul of Chaos, Jack’s finishing Burst+ move, the enemies were down to 7% and 9% HP. Have 1 turn of force time left and the HP damage bonus was at 761%.
Thankfully, Jack’s BT+ finisher was enough to finish off both bosses, ending the battle on turn 13. Hell, yes! And freaking finally!
Got the score and all the other mission requirements. So glad to finally be over and done with this Shinryu quest. It was such a hassle trying to carry Fusoya through this fight.
Conclusion
So, what about you? Which chars did you use to complete these Shinryu quests? Feel free to share your thoughts and opinions by leaving a comment below or by reblogging or replying to this post.

FF VII - Headcanons | #8
ANON: I feel like dying and I wondered how Sephy and Zack would feel if I did die in their arms. So some headcanons involving s/o dying in front of them!?
A/N: PLEASE DON’T DIE!! But I love some angsty HC!! Can never go wrong with dramatic angst, so I hope you enjoy it!! <3 (P.S. AGAIN, DON’T DIE PLEASE)
WARNING: Death
SEPHIROTH REACTING TO YOU DYING WOULD INCLUDE:
It wouldn’t matter how you’d die. Stabbed, shot, injured, it all means the same to him.
When it first happens he’s quick to action, but silent. He’s lost men before, but he never thought about losing you. Not like this.
He’ll be silent for the most part. Sephiroth has no way of actually believing it as reality as you’re talking to him, telling him how much you love him, how you’ll watch over him in the life stream. Tears will be running down your face, but not his. He’s not the type, but he’ll bite his tongue as you let out your last breath.
He’ll stay and watch you disappear into the life steam. Listening to the silent, unforgiving world, the soft glimmer as you turn into pure energy, rising into the graying skies.
But he’ll finally swallow that hard lump in his throat when one last piece of you, a small fleck of blue, touches his skin. Absorbing itself like one last kiss.
It’ll haunt him for the rest of his life. He’ll see you in his dreams, your laugh, your smile, the way you’d looked at him in the dead of night. Now that happiness is gone, and he’d find someway to put the blame on himself. Even if it wasn’t his fault in the first place.
ZACK FAIR REACTING TO YOU DYING WOULD INCLUDE:
He’d try every trick in the book to keep you alive as long as he could. Cures, curas, curagas. Find a summon that could help, any magic spell, nothing would be over turned in trying to keep you alive.
He’ll wrap his arms around you when he finds out nothing can help. He’ll just try to reassure you someone will come, to keep you talking to him fro the remainder of your life.
Small tears will fall as he’s trying not to panic in front of you. Zack knows you won’t make it, but it won’t stop him from trying to ease your pain, ease your suffering as you’re left on the cold ground with only the two of you stuck in the elements.
When you let out your last breath he’s lost. Full, in-cohesive sobs as he’s still clutching your lifeless hand to his face. Leaving his final kisses on your body as you scatter into the life stream.
For a few minutes he won’t move. He can’t. His last moments with you have passed, and every happy memory you’ve had together comes rushing to his brain to merely gloat and cause more suffering in these fleeting moments.
He won’t recover for days, months maybe. Every shop he passes, the theater, streets where you stole silent kisses between one another, it will remind him too much of you. There’s not a single place in Midgar that hadn’t been smeared with your name and face, a memory now plastered with heartache and fear.

“i believe i should like to stay.” from Sephie
Bridgerton starters . not accepting
With time, Melissa had learned that much of what she thought to be true about Sephiroth was, in fact, incomplete at best. The idea that Shinra sold to the population, of an almost god-like war hero was not incorrect per se – his military feats had been amply documented, after all – but it was not everything that there was to him.
He was, first and foremost, a man – and a young one, who lacked experiences that anyone else of his age likely had gone through. He was a dedicated student and a faster learner, and for everything they did and for each moment she had spent with the 1st, he had rewarded her in some fashion.
Trips topside were her favorites – without the proper ID to leave the slums, Melissa only left the Wall Market when someone summoned her. But with Sephiroth, that meant that, most of the time, access to plateside was granted, no questions asked. And for every opportunity to gaze at the night sky or to eat at a different restaurant, she was always grateful for the kindness that apparently was never-ending on his side, even if it was hardly publicized.
They were also discreet – for a Wall Market self-styled queen and for someone popular enough to be Shinra’s posterboy, they tried to keep a low profile while doing all these mundane things around. And that evening, he had taken her to a different sort of outing – an aquarium. Melissa had never seen the sea, much less any of the creatures that lived in the ocean but for the ones that she was supplied with for the inn’s menu.
So visiting one of Shinra’s public aquariums had been one of her loveliest experiences – the brothel madame realized that she probably had acted (and reacted) like a child sometimes, filled with the excited glee of seeing a dolphin swimming just that close – but Sephiroth only smiled at her and never once hurried her along. Ever the perfect companion, the SOLDIER made sure to also return her home safely – after all, their first encounter many months ago arising exactly from an unsavory experience he had rescued Melissa from.
There was hardly a soul around by the time they return – the inn was a different sight without the excited chatter of the patrons and her girls, with lights turned off and whatever guests remained locked in their private rooms with their choice of companionship for the evening. Melissa sighed contently when they approached the stairs to the second floor and where her quarters were, letting go of his hands to stand on the tip of her toes to plant the softest of the kisses to his face as a goodnight gesture.
It was then that Sephiroth’s words surprised her – ‘I believe I should like to stay’. Melissa had invited him to stay the night, time and time again – but she had never expected him to accept. They were taking things slowly – and she had no idea of the commitments or the schedule the 1st needed to observe for work.
Well, that night was truly turning out to be full of surprises.
“Then please do - nothing would make me happier.”
