Lucien sighed, rubbing his face to force away his irritation. “Who else? Please don’t say Eris. That would be a disaster.”

She hadn’t been planning on it, but since he’d brought it up…

“I like disasters,” Elain said sweetly. “They’re entertaining."

Almost as entertaining as this, watching Lucien struggle not to show his regret at pushing her on a clear lie. He had to know she was stubborn and didn’t like losing - she was an Archeron, after all.

“And if I ask you really nicely to reconsider?”

Elain smiled smugly, leaning forward and propping her elbows on the table, her chin resting on her hands. Coincidentally pushing her breasts together, just enough that it wouldn’t look intentional. Lightning fast, Lucien’s eyes dipped down then back up, pupils a fraction wider. If she hadn't been looking for it, she would have missed it, which was probably his intention. He was so careful, but she was having fun.

“What are you willing to give me?” she asked, and Lucien swallowed.

“What do you want?” he asked in return.

yo, I had an idea. a like modern-day AU of ACOTAR but all the ACOTAR characters are like superheroes and villains and all those tropes. more DC than Marvel because ive now switched sides for a multitude of reasons. but anyway, the story of ACOTAR is a backstory for the modern-day superhero AU which is an ACOMAF retelling.

the evil villain Nightmare (rhy) who served the city of Velaris's most feared villain the Deceiver (Amerantha) visits a grief-ridden Feyre who has gained all these new powers after saving the city, which her boyfriend the super [name TBD] Tamlin has taken credit for to keep her "safe" (despite not really being that great of a hero before this he is seen as the next cities supermanesque golden boy).

Nightmare offers to help her gain control over her powers that she desperately needs (also plotting to help her gain control of her life because Rhys can't help but try to help the woman who freed him). In return she promises to help him and his newly freed super brothers the Shadow Singer and the General (?) stop the true ultimate villain of the story from the shadowy organization, Hybern.

I obviously need to flesh this idea out more but is it work putting up polls for superhero/villain names? somebody let me know because ive been thinking about it for weeks by myself and I need outside input.
