𝙂𝙞𝙛𝙩𝙚𝙙 🍔 @seoulbirduk at @westfieldlondon have teamed up with @tabasco_uk to create some specials! Available for 8 weeks, you can get your chops around this; the Burnin’ Bird Burger. It’s a crispy Korean fried chicken thigh tossed in Tabasco sauce, topped with smashed tater tots, iceberg lettuce, pickled cucumber, red onion, with a tangy kewpie Mayo, in a potato bun. There’s also a side of Tabasco tater tots available, which have a cheese sauce, kimchi pico de gallo, sour cream, coriander, and of course Tabasco sauce. Plus on the weekends you can get Chilli Chicken & Wicked Waffles, which is Korean chicken thighs on a savoury cheese waffle. I’m a fan of @seoulbirduk anyway, and I’m a fan of this burger too. I really do like @judyjoochef chicken. This was nicely crispy and juicy, and everything retained well in the bun. But the tater tots took away 1st prize for me, you should definitely check those out. 𝙂𝙞𝙛𝙩𝙚𝙙 🍗 In a good court revolution which happened in @westfieldlondon last year, @seoulbirduk are the latest addition to the line up. It’s a new project from @judyjoochef, who you’ve most likely seen on tv, specialising in crispy Korean chicken. The chicken comes 2 ways; fried or flame grilled. Then you’ve got your choice of thigh, wing, or tenders. We went fried, and was very impressed with not only the quality of the chicken, but the crispness and flavour. This is then only improved even more by their homemade sauces, and we tried gochujang, sweet garlic soy, honey mustard, and Yuzu mayo. I wish I could pick a favourite, but honestly every dip was as good as the next. There’s a whole load of tots too, so we went for K-Tots, which are topped with cheese, kimchi, hot sauce, sour cream, red onion, pickled jalapeños, and coriander. Again, SO GOOD, but it was a hard choice over the truffle tots. Their homemade Korean iced tea was a big favourite of mine too. There’s green plum and ginger, and Yuzu green tea, which was my favourite. £3 is amazing value and I’ll probably be having one daily on my lunch break. There’s so much more to the menu that I didn’t try. There’s Seoul Bowls, kimchi Mac and cheese, Korean fried cauliflower, and more.
