I think Stefania was probably drafted in to guest on Greys as Jo one of the greys main characters wants to switch to OBGYN so it could be they needed her to be in scenes with her.

Ah, gotcha. I’m not sure I want her fully replaced there, both in the hospital and inn the show. As much as S19 has made a good effort to give her central drama, she can’t have a brother die or administer covid vaccines all the time. She needs a long-term role and that would be OBGYN at this hospital, if this were a real world not ruled by two different shows’ writing needs.

The live was super short and more to promo Rebel than anything else, but the tone was super light and playful. They did say they missed each other and Danielle told Stefania she needed to come back to 19's set instead of Grey's, but they were shooting with each other 24 hours prior :) Paris posted some BTS pics from shooting this past week with just Stefania and Danielle and he's the director for 4x16 so I think that should quell some worries since they only have 10 days of filming left.

Ooh, I see, right, right, Rebel. Ah, okay, thanks, anon! Such a informational answer, you gave me everything I was looking for and that definitely does ease some of my worries at least. I’m assuming 4x16 is the season finale so yeah, it looks like they still are together often and Stefania is around. Okay, nice, nice.

I wish we got to see a deeper conversation about the NASA administrator job offer/leaving NASA and about Ellen’s plans after with Pam. Ngl could’ve exchanged that with the Karen and Danny scene... yikes

God, a black screen would have been better than Karen/Danny. I JUST DON’T--ARE THEY--whatever.

I think they were deliberately short on details about the NASA administrator position because that’s where they wanted to leave it at this point, with it being a much bigger deal leading into the finale.

Marina drama where Maya gets hurt would have been good before Andrew died. Now it would be overkill. Carina’s been the actual worst. Like you said, you have to be careful what you wish for with this show because they take everything to the melodramatic extreme. Right now though, as long as they keep having issues that can mostly be solved before the episode is over, I’m good. They’re the cutest and I love Carina. I wonder how else they’ll keep her at the station though, unless they bring the PRT back ?

Right, right, she’s already hurting and stressed and feeling the huge hole Andrew’s left in her life. Maya getting hurt would be a thing I’d want if Andrew was still there, actually being the one to comfort her, even, that would have been perfect. Now, it’s... 

And for sure, I’m okay with these relatively minor issues, where they talk things out. To me, especially for this kind of show, that’s kind of the deal, tbh. i dunno how they’ll keep Carina on the show, they can’t keep doing little one-off plots, but I’m not sure the PRT long-term is her thing either. It’ll be interesting to see where they go.

I watched snl after a long time for carey and wow that show is not good at all anymore lol

Aww, I feel people always say that and then remember that era fondly and say the new one can’t compare. I’ve been watching a lot of sketch clips on youtube from the last few years and they can be pretty hilarious. 

Carey’s ep wasn’t tooooo strong overall but Daniel Kaluuya’s not too long ago was pretty great.

The difficult conversation will probably be something comedic—I hope. But there’s also the possibility that Carina wants to talk about Maya’s job? I know she was just at the station and saw her go on a call but Maya could get a bit hurt and with Andrew just dying and all her emotions still heightened, that could worry her? Seems they keep throwing things at them because they don’t know what to do with them as a happy couple? Drama is annoying and usually cheap shock but it’s easy to write

It’s possible that it could be about something light or that we haven’t yet seen but given everything that’s already going on with them, it’d make sense it’d be about that. It may, though, be precipitated by something that happens in the ep? Maybe Maya gets a reminder somehow that professionally she’s been pretty absent, or even what we’ve been wanting, her family pops up again and becomes a reason she can’t leave. It could just be Maya starting the ep with second thoughts and eventually has the talk with Carina that she can’t go right now.

“Seems they keep throwing things at them because they don’t know what to do with them as a happy couple?” Heh, that’s literally how it’s been for all shows forever. Even comedies add some kind of friction. And I don’t think the show’s done that badly recently, the drama they’ve been facing has actually been external and each time they’ve dealt with it together and come out stronger, if people don’t like that, then I’m not sure what’s left. For a show like this anyway, where they will always go with more OTT drama than not, given the choice.

Do you think that in future episodes of Station 19 we´ll see Maya getting hurt on duty? Seeing as both Carina and Bailey work at the hospital, and Maya and Warren being firefighters. It would be a good crossover if there were several wounded firefighters and Maya and Warren are two of them? I would like to see Carina´s reaction to it all. The stress, and then relief where Carina realize how much Maya means to her. That is the drama I´m okay with. Not the constant unnecessary drama between them.

I mean, maybe we might, but I think you’d want to be careful what you wish for. If there’s going to be a story that revolves around that, it could end up being an actually very bad injury. In the last few eps we’ve seen how much Carina is starting to rely on Maya, and she has effectively no one close left besides her. The stress from Maya also being injured would be pretty extreme, and that might also be drama people wouldn’t want to see Carina put through.
