taking mental health days feels like admitting defeat. and i know it shouldn’t but it does, it’s my last resort. taking a mental health day not even 2 full months into my senior year is the biggest indication that i am actually losing it. the only other time i’ve done this is when my ab***ve mother called me and demanded i come home by my 16th birthday after as***lting me and kicking me out. #seniorpower #classof22

It feels so weird knowing that the class of 2016 is now the top dogs... When I was little, seeing all the high schoolers made me feel like I always wanted to be like them. And now that I'm basically a senior myself, (last full week of my junior year) I honestly don't know where the time goes... I'm getting really emotional right now. I remember my first day of freshman year, walking through the teacher tunnel. After watching this year's seniors walk out of school the same way we entered as freshmen, it made me have a deep existential moment. Now I'm on top. Seeing all the 6th graders when I went back to my middle school, how small they were, and remembering I was in their position once. How it felt graduating 5th grade and 8th grade, not realizing how fast high school was going to be. It was nerve wracking at first, but we made it here. I can't believe it. I would like to congratulate the current class of 2015 on their journey, and wish all of the future classes luck! #classof2k16 #2k16 #seniorpower
