My random SENGEN relationship analysis
I absolutely adore Senku’s facial expressions every single time when Gen reads his mind and says something totally obvious to him. Senku is a type of person who always tries to hide his kindness (it doesn’t work because everyone finds out that actually he is a kind hearted and caring person) and he just wants to keep his cool appearance but he knows it’s unnecessary because Gen knows him better.
His face is like “I won’t say it aloud but you know me better than anyone else, mentalist” every time when Gen reads his mind and says his inner thoughts aloud. Senku loves being with him because Gen really understands this part of Senku’s personality, and in this way Senku feels comfortable with him. I believe Gen is the most trusted partner and probably the closest person to Senku. He accepts and unconditionally loves Senku - this is the most heartwarming part of their relationship.

Hi, I've just realised that...
... Two of men that loved, trusted in and wanted Senkuu to be happy the most had given to him a proper laboratory/observatory.
The first one is Byakuya Ishigami, Senkuu's father. He believed that the interest of baby Senkuu for science is real and he sold his car to buy him (Santa-San actually made it lol) all what he did need (chap 10).
Father of the year, in my humble opinion.
The second one is Gen Asagiri, the Mentalist that "only cared about himself". He's such a magnificent liar.
Gen wanted to surprise Senkuu and searched for info that he needed. Trust me, it's reaaaaaaaally difficult to find the perfect gift for a man, even if it's in the Stone World, so Gen made an amazing work!
As soon as Senkuu wasn't at the village, Gen lead the team and, based on his scientific knowledge, built the telescope. But it's not over yet. He also organised before and after the surprise and made it to be a real thing (chap 56).
Gen also confessed his admiration for Senkuu, saying that for he liked Senkuu even before they met and he didn't care about what he could lose or earn by liking him. I want to remind you that Gen was the most superficial man in the world.
I'm crying.
Bonus about this analysis: The first Senkuu's lab and observatory were almost given to him in the same period of the year (there were many years between the two gifts, of course).
The first is around Christmas (for the reference to Santa-San) and the second one is on Senkuu's birthday, the 4th of January.
I don't know but suffering is for sharing, so here we go.

Gishi’naki might be the next to hit 10M, but it could be beaten by Ayame’s Goodbye Sengen as it jumps up 17 spots to be in the top 20. Umiyuri Kaiteitan might be next up the list, as it passes 8M.
Sparkle is still holding on strong, and probably will move up the list, rather than down. In fact, most Hololive songs on this list are doing great. Love Trial was passed by Call Boy which hit 6M.
Mori’s Roki and Fuwa/Akina’s Kaibutsu rise quickly in the list, with Deathstart’s GETCHA! entering the list at No. 50. Kakusei rose two spots for an old song. On Nijisanji’s side, Gunjo, Hail Holy Queen, and is doing great, with the last two hitting 4M. Risu passes Melissa in the KING race, but Red Purge! is surging past both.

I was explaining to my friend (who didn't read or watch Dr stone) how Senkuu's interest for Gen growns up very quickly as that of Gen for Senkuu (but this is another analysis).
In the chapter 23, our boys meet for the first time (nothing to say about that moment, so I skip it) and Senku makes this face because of Gen's words about he's being a Mentalist:
Senkuu is clearly annoyed by Gen's words. One of the cliché that I would like reading or seeing is that about science hates psychology and any discipline like magic, and they as represents of their categories, Senkuu for Science and Gen for Psychology (Magic or just Manipulating art) could be in conflict about this topic. Anyway, for this I'm working on a fanfiction with this scenario. Can't wait to finish it.
Things happen and Senkuu's opinion about the role of Gen starts to change. In fact in chapter 24, - yes, literally few pages later, same day, - Senkuu sees Gen "in action" for helping him and others members of The Science Kingdom.
I say start to change because this comment is for a moment of "Emergency". You know, this is almost a "suspension bridge effect". Magma and others of the village are coming for them and want to kill them. But Gen distracts them in time. Senkuu and Gen aren't so calm in that moment. Obviously the expression of Senkuu is less annoying and this is good.
In chapter 26, the famous chapter 26 with a very not heterosexual moment, Senkuu changes idea and is impressed by Gen and his "magic" talent.
Conclusion: I love seeing this little change and how his expressions escalete quickly by showing a sort of interest for someone who isn't supposed to be smart af like Gen. As I said, the same thing happens with Gen. He is sincerely impressed by Senkuu's intellect and by what he can and actually does from nothing.
