🤩 What's the most meaningful comment you've ever received?

I've had so many meaningful comments throughout the past 2 years of writing, all of them I hold near and dear to my heart. This particular fic was my first true "going out on a limb" for a rarepair,and this comment from two months ago meant so so much! It made me feel like it was all worth the learning experience of writing for a new character (jonathan!!!) and really getting into his head. (thank you @templeofxian <3333 you're lovely)

Sticking with the theme of there is a light that never goes out.....

Her fingers slipped under the jacket, grazing his like tiny shards of ice that matched his own. She giggled before gazing seriously into his eyes. “Are you sure? Your hands are cold like mine.” “They’re always cold,” he said as a bluff, watching her jaw chatter. “Take it. I promise I’m good.” “Cold hands, warm heart, Granddad used to say.” Chrissy spread the jacket like a blanket over her, but when Jonathan tried to retrieve his hand, she grabbed it in both of hers, pulling him closer to her heart. “Jonathan Byers has a warm heart.” He tensed with the sudden touch, but quickly relaxed as her delicate hands lingered. They weren’t invasive or ambivalent, they were gentle as she studied his reaction. His voice came out choppy, still processing their closeness. “My mom says that, too. Never understood what your hands have to do with your heart.” “Granddad said it was the body’s way of feeding a heart so caring that it forgets to care for its own hands.” Her eyes sparkled in the moonlight, trying to focus on him. She brought his hand to her face, helping him cup the soft round of her cheek. Under his palm, her skin felt hot.

Yeah yeah yeah it's more than a line or paragraph, oops!!! But I just love this scene so much <3 tipsy Chrissy is laying it thick! Jonathan is Jonathaning! I bathe in the delight of this whole chapter often <3

This one? Well, I was pissed off that my main blog got flagged (and for little good reason!) and I knew staff would never fix it despite my complaints, so I set up this blog to start afresh. But the original reason I joined tumblr? I've no fucking clue - I don't remember -_-"" XD :P But I've enjoyed using tumblr a lot! Met interesting personalities, able to post about things I love without inhibition, learn more about things I'm interested in... It's lovely <3

the funniest meltdown ive ever had was in college when i got so overstimulated that i could Not speak, including over text. one of my friends was trying to talk me through it but i was solely using emojis because they were easier than trying to come up with words so he started using primarily emojis as well just to make things feel balanced. this was not the Most effective strategy... until. he tried to ask me "you okay?" but the way he chose to do that was by sending "👉🏼👌🏼❓" and i was so shocked by suddenly being asked if i was dtf that i was like WHAT???? WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY TO ME?????????? and thus was verbal again
