Like I said in my “Dreadlocks Journey” playlist on Youtube. 😅

I started with two strand twists.

Chunky or fluffy.

During my second week, I still treated my hair like normal natural hair in kinky twists.

☺️☺️☺️ ✅Routine: I’ll moisturize and try to keep hair away from my face lol. I used water and oiled my scalp once a week.

I didn’t add a lot of products because I’ve never being a product junkie and I rarely use edge control too.

✅Changes: my hair didn’t show any visible change except for the frizz which I’ve always experienced with my 4c natural hair.

I’ll post updates here and there and comparison between them.

NEW LOC ROUTINE

Trying a new loc routine loosely based on Yannie the Locologist.

Clarifying shampoo every 3 weeks

Oil scalp with JBCO (added peppermint oil)

Spritz hair with rosewater and vitamin E oil mix as much as needed.

Massage scalp often

Make sure hair fully dries.

Wrap hair alot to protect from the elements.

GOALS

Let my edges grooooowwww!

Keep my hair thick and my locs thicker.

Get rid of buildup

Minimize the amount of lint my hair tracks.

I'm gonna track for 3 months and see what's up.

Can you see any changes compared to 𝐝𝐚𝐲 14? ⁣🤔 ⁣ •Remember I 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐝 with 𝐭𝐰𝐨 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐰𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐬. ⁣⁣ Chunky or fluffy.⁣ 🇬🇭🇬🇭⁣ ⁣ ⁣⁣ ✅𝐑𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐞: I’ll moisturize with clean water and seal with my hair oil @nappyc_ . I used the diluted African black soap to wash and it made my hair feel squeaky clean. ⁣ ⁣ One time I took a dip in the pool and ended up with spongy feeling hair. 😂🤭😫😫⁣ 𝘑𝘰𝘫𝘰𝘣𝘢 𝘰𝘪𝘭 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘤𝘶𝘦 ⁣ ⁣ I used Shea butter at this stage tho ⁣ ⁣ I tried to experiment with hair styles since my hair wasn’t super thick and it could stretch easily but I rarely used edge control.⁣⁣ ⁣ 𝘐 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘴𝘤𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘥 𝘰𝘧 𝘣𝘶𝘪𝘭𝘥𝘶𝘱 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘦𝘥𝘨𝘦 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘳𝘰𝘭 𝘥𝘰𝘦𝘴𝘯’𝘵 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘯 𝘭𝘢𝘴𝘵 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘮𝘦 🤪🤪⁣ ⁣ Edges are not baby hairs - just adult hair 😛⁣ ⁣⁣ ⁣ ✅𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐬: After a month, I felt my hair remained the same but just got 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐳𝐳𝐲.
