thinking about Sem and how I still haven't decided where exactly he lives (all I know is it's far from the core and it's not a big world) and thinking. what if it's Lothal.
it's a small world, but (probably) big enough to have a university. it has little imperial presence during the first decade or so of the empire, and the population seems sympathetic to rebellious types so a scholar studying jedi culture would not be out of place or rejected by the community. it has archaeological sites, some of which probably jedi-related since there's a hidden temple in the planet. and wouldn't it be funny. half a decade before all that rebel mess an inquisitor came to this planet to investigate a suspiciously jedi-aligned university professor and ended up disappearing. the professor was totally unaffected and is still doing pretty much the same, except now he has a stay at home husband who is unusually wary around cameras and imperials. which is totally normal tbh
#hm i should make an original post tag#my ocs#sem#niemer#sem pollus#24th brother#rping as guagua in the holonet transmissions community i've mentioned he studied in the mid rim years before the war#so lothal's university doesn't even need to be that good. he graduated somewhere else and moved there for his doctorate or whatever#probably during the clone war. or perhaps a little before it started. and then he just never left.#she moved to the core shortly after college and they lost contact for a while so she doesn't know when exactly it happened#but they reconnect later. she visits him in lothal. and uses her moderately successful actress money on him and his house
