Jason and Roy were packing away the leftovers. Though there wasn't much left considering just how many people came over to eat. "If I leave without complimenting Alfred, feel free to never let me come over again."

Jason chuckled. "Oh? Who said you were leaving?"

Roy grinned. "Trust me I had no plans on leaving tonight Jaybird. But I did have some plans," he winked at Jason.

Jason looked at him playfully, stuffing the last dish into a small bag. "I'd hope so. Or else tonight was gonna get really boring."

Roy lead into Jason slowly, kissing him softly. Jason smiled into the kiss, like a real genuine smile. They pulled away when they heard someone making a gaging sound in the doorway.

"Get a room you two. Jesus fuck." Damian poured a glass of the non-alcoholic cider.

Jason rolled his eyes. "Says you, now scram nerd."

Damian stuck out his tongue. "Loser," he turned and walked out.

Roy chuckled at the two brothers. "You two are adorable."

Jason shrugged. "I might be, but I know damn well that brat isn't."

"Mhm, mhm. Whatever makes you feel better."

He huffed, shoving the bag into Roy's arms. "It's Oliver's. Go give it to him."

Roy gave him a fax salute before grabbing the bag. "Yes sir."

Jason chuckled, rolling his eyes playfully. "Get out of here."

Roy placed a small kiss on Jason's forehead before turning to leave.

He sighed, placing his head on the counter. "Heard you helped cook. Wouldn't have expected that from you." Jason lifted his head up, looking at who just entered. There in the doorway stood Koriand'r.

Jason shrugged. "I was helping Selina mostly. She's actually a pretty good cook."

She grabbed the bottle of red wine. "So I've heard. She made the apple pie, right?"

He nodded. "And the rolls. Shit was homemade."

Her eyes widened. "Really? They were incredible."

"I know right."

Roy came back into the kitchen. "I'm bac- oh hello there Kori."

She waved, giving him a small smile. " Hey there Roy."

Roy walked over to Jason, placing a gentle kiss on his cheek. "They said thank you."

Kori smiled at them. "You two are cute. I better be the maid of honor."

Selina spotting Stephanie and Duke around the city and having to remind them that, it doesn't matter that Bruce gave you that as a gift you know better than walking around the narrows with a 2k watch, and taking them shopping in whatever the US version of primark is.

Interviewer: Hello Readers! Today I am joined by one of these most known young actresses of our generation, Y/n L/n! Thank you for being here.

Y/n: Thank you for inviting me. I love doing interviews.

Interviewer: So, how have you been?

Y/n: I've been good. Doing a lot of filming for Batman, catching up with old friends, trying to up my instagram game. I've gotten into videography, shooting mini vlogs and cooking videos.

Interviewer: Sounds fun! I love that! Is there any insight into the movie that you can give us?

Y/n: Sure! If any of you were wondering, this is going to be very different from any portrayal of Batman and Catwoman that you've seen or read. Obviously because Selina Kyle is a lot younger than Bruce in this adaptation which is a plot within itself. This Selina, and because she is younger, her story has changed, is a street rat or stray cat. She lives on the streets, and her story in this, is similar to that of her portrayal in the show, Gotham. She meets Bruce as she is trying pickpocket off him out in the open. Then, it goes from there.

Interviewer: Wow! That certainly is a must-watch. Now, I hate to get deep all of a sudden, but have you seen the comments regarding your casting?

Y/n: Yes, I have actually. A lot of them are for disgusting middle-aged men, so I don't really bother with them. I knew what I was getting into when I auditioned.

Interviews: You also get to work with Matt Smith again. Did you know that he was casted as Bruce or did you find out after you got the call?

Y/n: You know what's funny? Zack told me that Matt told him not to tell me. So, I didn't know until our table read!

Interviewer: Oh my god! What?!

Y/n: Yeah! And I hadn't seen him in so long that I almost jumped across the table to hug him.

Interviews: Aw!

Y/n: A lot of people also would say that they felt bad for me because I'm the love interest to someone twice my age, but I've known Matt for a long time. He worked with my father in Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. I played young Rhaena in House of the Dragon. He's a family friend, a beloved friend. I trust him.

Y/n: I understand the public's concerns though. I did just turn 24 earlier this year. The age gap is big, but it is strictly for storytelling purposes.

It wasn’t often that a heist went awry for Selina, but this time was sure to take the cake. Triggered security systems and broken glass were the least of her problems, now having to face the consequences of working with Edward Nygma. Mentally, Selina beat herself up for knowing better than to work with a conniving snake like him, but that didn’t matter now. The loud blaring of sirens could be heard in the distance as she lept from rooftop to rooftop with ease. Continuing to escape deeper into the night, Selina knew exactly where to run to.

Far enough away from the scene of the crime, Selina found herself perched on top of the overgrown warehouse. Thick branches and moss covered the outside, making the building look abandoned. Nobody would even think that a place such as this would be an ideal hideout, but for Selina, it was a refuge. A sanctuary. The home of an old friend.

Climbing through the window, Selina’s entrance was almost anticipated as Ivy watched her come in expectantly.

“Well, aren’t you a sight for sore eyes?” Ivy grinned.

“Nice to see you too, Pam.” Selina leaned against the wall, out of breath. “How did you…?”

“Word gets around fast,” Ivy shrugged. “Plus, all the cop cars woke me up.”

“Sorry about that.”

“It’s fine, I was up anyway.” Ivy made her way over to Selina. Pulling up her mask, Ivy inspected the small cuts and bits of glass occupying Selina’s face and body. Her face was streaked with blood and sweat. “Let’s get you cleaned up, yeah? You look like hell.”

“Yeah,” Selina snickered. “I just got back.”

Selina was seated on top of the table. Her tight, black suit was cast aside, leaving her in an undershirt, her underwear, and several small bandages. Around her was a bowl of discarded glass and a small trash can of bloodied gauze.

Ivy made her way in between Selina’s legs, standing in front of her. She applied the disinfectant carefully. Selina winced at the sudden sting, but Ivy took a gentle hand in the application. The gaze in Ivy’s eyes was soft. It was easy for Selina to get lost in them.

“You’re staring again.” Ivy spoke up faintly.

“Am I? Purred Selina. “You’re so close to me, must be your pheromones.” She giggled. “Or blood loss.”

Ivy chuckled playfully. “First of all, my little flower,” she pushed a bit of Selina’s short hair off her face. “You haven’t lost nearly enough blood for delirium.” Ivy set down the disinfect. Her arms soothed their way up to Selina’s shoulders. “As for the pheromones?” Ivy’s hands cradled the area between Selina’s jaw and neck. “They only amplify what’s already there.”

Selina glanced down and back up again, soft laughter escaping her lips. “Whatever you say, Dr. Isley.”

There was a pause from Ivy. It was as if a switch went off. Cocking her head in consideration, she asked Selina to repeat what she had said.

“Whatever you say… Dr. Isley.” Selina repeated.

Ivy’s green complexion flushed. Selina’s forwardness was always welcome in their interactions. Having Selina in her current position would more often than not signal that they were going to have sex on a night like this. It seemed to be going that way thus far. It was the use of Ivy’s professional title being used in such a flirtatious manner that stopped her dead in her tracks. It fired her up, far more than usual, and Selina could see it from a mile away.

“Y’know…” Selina swiftly wrapped a leg around Ivy’s body, pulling her in closer. “I still feel a little hurt from the glass, I think I might need a more thorough examination, what do you think… Doctor?”

Their faces are just inches apart. Ivy scans Selina’s face. Selina’s dark, pleading eyes sparkled with mischief. Ivy always enjoyed the little dynamic they had. Usually she would be the one to initiate anything. A few whispers of filthy nothings, controlling some stray vines to gently twist around her thighs, and a kiss to the neck and Selina would be a goner. However, tonight was not one of those nights. Selina was pushing Ivy’s buttons and they both fucking loved it.

“Well, I may not be a doctor in a medical sense,” Ivy cleared the table, getting up behind her. “But in my professional opinion,” she continued as her hands reached Selina’s sides, pulling the cat burglar closer to her. Ivy’s hands wandered up to trail over Selina’s breasts. Ivy could hear Selina’s breath hitch, and decided to push forward. “Maybe if you’re in that much pain…” Ivy whispers as Selina can feel her breath tickle her ear. “… I think some bed rest is in order.”

Selina turns her head around and presses her lips to Ivy’s. What first started as small pecks soon evolved into a tender kiss. Ivy could feel Selina snake a hand through her red curls; her nails gently scratching her scalp. Ivy let out a soft sigh as Selina pulled away for a moment. She fully moved herself around to face Ivy completely, before straddling her thigh and returning the the kiss. Selina let out a low moan as Ivy playfully bucked her up her thigh. With a coquettish chuckle, Ivy’s hands trailed down to Selina’s ass before gently nipping at her bottom lip.

“Fucking tease,” Selina grinned. “Who knew that the illustrious Dr. Isley could be so salacious?”

Ivy hummed before quickly hoisting Selina off her thigh and off the table. “Then I’d suggest we take this appointment to the bedroom,” Ivy wraps an arm around Selina’s shoulder. “I do have a reputation to uphold you know.”

As for my hobbies, I love love LOVE crocheting! My mom actually taught me how to make my own bags and purses, and I’ve sold a few when I was younger. Arts and crafts is a huge passion for me - whether it’s painting, sketching, digital drawing, whatever!! I enjoy it all, and I make free commissions for my friends too. I also like to cook and bake, which are two skills I’ve been learning since I was 11. And when I’m not making art or cooking, I also love a good ol’ self care routine! Face masks, bubble baths, pedicures, the whole shebang. I’ve struggled with my mental health a lot over the years, so spoiling myself is something I’m trying to do a lot more now that school is almost over

She loves that you can crochet and I feel like if you ever made her a purse or a bag or anything like that she would wear it in such pride and she would never take it off and if anyone made fun of it, they would for sure get their throat slip, but she just loves everything you make and thinks that it’s really adorable. She also is a pretty good artist I feel like and she would draw with you and draw around the house because she lives out in the country where there’s very very pretty views so I feel like she would help you draw those and draw some on her own and paint and things like that and ask for your love of skin care I feel like she would totally have a girls night with you or you guys both just do your skin care. Explanation: physical appearance I think that she would be absolutely in love with you. She hits one of his thugs with a brick when he attempts to shoot Batman from behind and disappears. Later, she dresses up for a night on the rooftops. She has a brief discussion with Batman about the help gave him the previous day. He asks her what he can expect from her now and she says that he'll just have to take a wait and see attitude. She thanks him for referring her to a psychologist. He says he helped because he believes deep down she is a good person. After Selina returns to her safehouse, a friend from her prostitute days, Holly Robinson tries to pick the lock on the door. She tells Selina that the streets aren't safe as someone is murdering prostitutes.

introducing selina kyle! hello friends. here i am with my second character. i just wanted to start this off by saying i am not a huge comic person. my portrayal of selina might be a little different compared to others because i can only base her off the knowledge i have which are the movies and shows. i have done some research into the comics but she is highly based off the batman films. below is some background info on selina as well as a few headcanons. i'll be editing this as i go and grow her character further.

trigger warnings: childhood trauma, drugs and alcohol, stealing, etc.

selena grew up in a very poor part of london to a mother and father who... weren't the best. they did what they could with what they had and it still wasn't enough. so, selena from a young age learned to steal. first it was pick pocketing... and then with practice she's grown into the burglar she is today.

selina is currently a dancer down at a club to make money outside of the hits she makes at the rich homes of london.

lives in a small rundown apartment with a few cats she takes care of along with the strays who frequent the alley by her place. she often has other girls staying with her to get off their feet or trying to get clean. her apartment is known as a safe haven to the other dancers.

has most of her memories of gotham and that’s where she began to her burglary career here.

headcanons: wears lots of leather, has six cats of her own (binx, mr. man, genevieve, quinn, pooks, and sir charles), often found at the pawn shop with jewels she’s stolen, a favorite dancer at the club but doesn’t put up with any bullshit, hates to cook, used to do gymnastics as a child, and often wears multicolored wigs.

Alright, well, I'll try to do it all from memory. (Some of these may be fannon? It's been a minute since I sorted it all out, but here I go...)

Bruce: His favourite colour is yellow, one of his favourite Christmas films is "It's a Wonderful Life," he likes a good steak, he secretly doesn't mind extroverts like Stephanie (he actually enjoys her company), he likes dinosaurs (yes, really), he also likes Alfred's cucumber sandwiches and devil’s food cake, and it's actually kind of funny how long and high profile his list of exes is. Zatanna, Vickie Vale, Talia Al Ghul, Selina Kyle (and like a billion others depending on which timeline/dimension you're in.)

Dick: likes cereal (though I think the idea that he LOVES cereal is more fannon than cannon?) he also likes a type of Italian lemon cake, Alfred's stuffed crab bites (or whatever they're called), hot wings, Alfred's cookies (but who doesn’t, right?), earl grey tea, pineapple on pizza, and mint chocolate chip ice cream. He does NOT like cranberry bread or Alfred's cucumber sandwiches : ( He's platonic soul mates with Donna Troy/Wonder Girl, he loves watching the sunrise, he likes to sing, is a decent cook, when he can’t sleep he goes and watches nature documentaries where there are no people, just animals, and it relaxes him. He speaks a plethora of languages (but let's be real, most of the bat family does), he loves his puns! aaaaand I think that's it for Dick.

Barbara: I actually don't know a whole lot about Babs… :(

Jason: His favourite ice cream flavour is neapolitan, he's a messy eater, he was a good student in school, likes to read, good at keeping his room/living space clean, once hacked into the batcomputer and tweaked his file to add in all the crimes he's committed just to spite Bruce, he's especially known for riding a motorcycle (yeah, I know, all the robins are, but for him the image kinda stuck more) and he's actually a natural ginger.

Tim: made Redboard (his special Robin skateboard), somehow is a jock/nerd/prep/slacker/skater/geek/rich kid hybrid, his favourite ice cream is cherry ice cream, he's also, like, pretty into junk food, but, like... same... though I do not like his choice of pizza (canadian bacon, artichokes, and onions), he’s techy and crafty and hackery with a genius level IQ, uncovered Batman's secret identity all by himself (though living in the same rich neighbourhood as Bruce Wayne doesn't hurt, cause yeah, his biological family is LOADED), he’s NOT good about keeping his room clean, he has sleep deprivation issues, is known for being a coffee addict and falling asleep at any given time, is NOT known for being very funny, and is often times the most forgotten of the boy robins.

Stephanie: loves waffles, is best girl, fun, zany, is a "live in the moment and make the most of it" kinda gal, smarter than she looks, aaand I'm now realising I need to do more research on her... wow...

Cassandra: very antisocial, raised by assassins, prevented from speaking her whole childhood, so she's known for using either broken English or sign language or both, does ballet, can take you down just by observing your body language, DO NOT PROVOKE.

Damian: has a soft spot for animals such as his many pets—Alfred the cat, Titus the dog, Batcow the cow, Goliath the… bat… monster… thing… and Jerry the Turkey. Because of his pets, he’s actually become a vegetarian, he’s a gifted artist, he plays the viola, he’s stolen Red Hood’s helmet before and keeps it as a memento in his room, he enjoys reading manga (specifically slice of life type manga), he prefers his mother’s cooking when it comes to Arabic food (though I’m sure Alfred tries his best), he hates water and getting wet, and on his first day of school, he arrived by helicopter blasting the “Imperial March” from Star Wars. He still arrives at school via helicopter as far as I am aware. He might also be gluten free? But I cannot confirm???

Duke: honestly I know next to nothing other than he’s generally considered to be the “normal one.” Yeah… DC needs to up their game when it comes to Duke as a character… I mean, starting that Robin uprising gang thing was cool… but, like, who is he as a person? What’s he like to do on his days off? (…is he the one who secretly introduced Damian to manga???) I literally don’t know.

Well, I think that’s just about everything. :)

I’ve scoured the internet for tidbits of info, such as: Dick’s favourite ice cream flavour is mint chocolate chip, Stephanie likes waffles, and Jason is a messy eater. But now I’d like to hear from you! What are some random batkid facts that you know? Or, what random/embarrassing/interesting facts do YOU think should be canon? Someone off screen says "selina?" finally we see selina, now in her catwoman costume, looking down at maggie in the dark. maggie asks "Do you really fell so much safer in there?" parallels w/ mindy newell’s catwoman and huntress... there’s something about needing an alternate identity to protect you but simultaneously being afraid of the power it has ... creating a place where you’re stuck between your own powerlessness and your own power ;_;

My Casting for a Batman Movie, but make it ✨Old Hollywood✨

(I’m aware the timeline wouldn’t really work but I’m mostly going off vibes, and this is just for fun because I love OH)

Batman/Bruce Wayne:

First up, the man himself. I’ve casted Gregory Peck as Batman / Bruce Wayne. I could potentially see Gregory being cast as Clark Kent as well, but I prefer the idea of him as Batman. I think he would give a wonderfully nuanced performance. Don’t get me wrong, he’d be a charming Superman, but I’d rather see him tackle the particular complexities that come with portraying Batman. I could see him doing something similar to his portrayal of Atticus Finch in To Kill a Mockingbird, but with a darker spin to it. Tortured soul and all that. And actually, in his character studies for BATMAN: YEAR ONE, artist David Mazzucchelli used Gregory Peck as inspiration for his sketches of Bruce Wayne (shown below)!

Alfred Pennyworth:

Next, we have John Williams as Alfred Pennyworth (top two photos). He’s English and he just has that certain presence. Refined, but like he could absolutely knock the shit out of you if need be.

…I’ve also cast Errol Flynn (the remaining five photos) as a younger Alfred Pennyworth. I don’t really know when it would be needed, but I just like the idea, and once I got the idea in my head I couldn’t get rid of it. I mean, just look at him.

Catwoman/Selina Kyle:

One of my favorites, I’ve casted Audrey Hepburn as Catwoman/Selina Kyle. I love, love the idea of Audrey’s look combined with the persona of Catwoman, and I’d be so excited to see her play a more mysterious female lead. We already know she has great chemistry with Gregory Peck (they were in Roman Holiday 1953 together) so it’s perfect.

When Darwyn Cooke redesigned Catwoman, he listed “Ava Gardner in Mogambo, Grace Kelly in Rear Window, and Audrey Hepburn in anything” as inspiration on his Catwoman/Selina Kyle style guide.

Commissioner Gordon:

I’ve casted Sidney Poitier as Jim Gordon. I’m citing every single role I’ve ever seen Sidney in as evidence that he’d be perfect for this. He embodies everything that makes Batman trust Gordon so much.

The Joker:

I decided on Peter O’Toole as The Joker. This one was more difficult than the others, and I struggled in the beginning. I chose O’Toole because while he has a certain charm about him, his presence can admittedly come across as a bit unnerving at times. His stare is relentless and his voice can be both eerily soft and startlingly intimidating. I’d like to think he’d lend that to a portrayal of the Joker in an ingenious way. I think he’d give a surprisingly haunting performance, and I’d love to see him go all out, face paint and all. For anyone who isn’t familiar with O’Toole, he provided the voice for Anton Ego in Ratatouille (2007).

The Penguin:

I’ve chosen Orson Welles as The Penguin/Oswald Cobblepot. I’m not 100% set on this one, but I think Orson would give a similarly comical but imposing performance to The Batman (2022).

Harvey Dent:

Robert Redford or Cary Grant as Harvey Dent/Two-Face. I don’t know about this one. I like either of these potential castings, but like with Penguin I don’t feel super strongly about it. I could see both of them as Harvey Dent, but when it comes to Two-Face I think Grant would be a bit more interesting.

FINALLY,

This one…probably wouldn’t be necessary in most Batman movies, but it’s still DC and I feel strongly about it. Ava Gardner as Lois Lane is exactly how I imagine her in my mind, visually and personality wise.
