Hello! Your binds are gorgeous! If you don't mind my asking, how do you get the foil to stick to cloth so well? What foil quill do you use?

I use the abominably-named We R Memory Keepers foil quill. Mostly the fine-point tip, sometimes the medium-point if I'm doing a really big fill.

So far I've only used it on commercial bookcloth, to varying results. I have a couple cloths of unknown brand to which some foils don't stick particularly well. So I do make sure to test on a small snippet of the fabric before committing to a design.

For best success, I use a piece of printer paper or tracing vellum with my tracing stencil on it. I find that having a piece of paper between foil and quill tip actually yields a more satisfying result anyway. Slow, steady pressure transfers the foil best ime. I do press rather hard with the quill.

Take as many breaks as you need to in order to not hurt yourself! I have chronic pain, so I have to be careful with that.

I posted a new wolfstar fanfic on AO3! It's ATYD fanfiction.

In All The Young Dudes, after Christopher Barley asks Remus out, Remus flippantly tells Sirius what Christopher just said, then says he's kidding and lets Sirius off the hook.

But what if he didn't?

"Hey, what did that kid want?" "Christopher." "Ah, he in your fan club?" "Study group." "Pfft. What did he want?" "He was asking me out." ... "Is there a problem, Padfoot?"

Rather than moving the conversation along and acting like it was a joke, Remus says that yes, Christopher asked him out, and implies that yes, he agreed to go. Sirius spirals, but he's definitely not jealous or anything.

4,800 words, Sirius' POV, Mutual pining, jealousy, possessive!Sirius, no homophobia, just a lot of jealousy, cutesy with a happy ending

Temptation Eyes (Jegulus Regency AU) is now complete!

The end of an era.

I wrote a Marauders Regency AU that is jegulus with background wolfstar, 77k words and 25 chapters. The story looks at very different perspectives on what being queer could look like in that era. Period typical homophobia, and Walburga and Orion suck as parents, but if I'm being honest most of it's off screen. The story is, on the whole, really soft and fluffy.

Writing this was really special to me because it's a cross section of my interests. It was super niche as a concept and I wasn't sure if people would give it a shot so I'm really happy that people have enjoyed it.

A new fic on AO3 for the first time in a while!

The Scents We Know in Our Bones

In our bookclub we talked about how we wanted to take our favorite characters out of Harry Potter's story and let them live in a cave somewhere away from the hazards of the wizarding world so that we could keep them safe. Here's the story of how Sirius, Remus, Regulus, and Harry came to live safe and sound happily ever after in a cave. Oh, and Harry teaches Remus French.
