The first pass of a Halloween costume for Anette Calloway, the lead in an animated short I’m developing. The short is called I Love a Spookulele, and it’s inspired by the music of Annette Hanshaw and vintage Halloween cartoons. This particular costume is based on a lot of vintage 20’s costumes I’ve been looking at, and also the Io moth, which fit the color palette and aesthetic I had in mind perfectly.
