CONVERTORS VOLCAN, POR SELECT (mediados de la década de los 80).

Esta versión "Super Morphed" de un Varitech VF-1S de Macross está basada en la línea "Paro Mecha", o "Parody Animation Mechanics" de Takatoku Toys. El modelo original de esa marca trae la cabeza de un VF-1J (ojo triangular, dos antenas).

Este modelo en cambio, es de la compañía también japonesa Select, aunque ni se molestaron en modificar las marcas, ya que mantiene el logo de Takatoku sobre el motor a fricción que lleva, reconocible por ser dos "T" dentro de un rombo.

En la línea "Convertors", Select utilizó cuatro colores de esta figura, aunque todas las hizo con la misma cabeza tipo "VF-1S", con un visor rectangular y cuatro antenas. Además, les dio nombres propios y facciones, siendo este en rojo "Volcan", de los "Maladroids".
