🔥 / purple prose ?

Send me a “ 🔥 “ for an unpopular opinion.

Writing longer paragraphs/novella is wonderful, I love it and I try to do it myself as often as I can - I like it when people actually describe what their muse feels/sees so you see it/hear it but too much is also here - just too much. When a whole paragraph is describing the nose with the fanciest of words that no one knows or would use while actually speaking, I can’t really with this. Good writing isn’t based on excessive descriptions.

The moment this familiar-faced LADY (the last time he could remember seeing her was at the departmental store where he was the outlaw) sat on the OPPOSITE couch of the cafeteria, Lawton hung his HEAD from his shoulder to sigh deeply. The marksman was PURPOSELY wearing a blue colored hat (to disguise his face) && looked up at the blonde lady. 

She was smiling which was  CREEPY  enough  for him.

Perhaps she had seen him from the outside (the large GLASS windows beside through which the moderately busy street was visible). Acting as if he doesn’t know her at all, the man placed the cigarette (that hung from his fingers) on his lips before LEANING back against HIS couch && directing his face towards the window. Letting smoke escape through his mouth Floyd remained calm && ensured that he had a don’t-care body language-------- also the lady being INVISIBLE to his eyes.
