your skills as an assassin and an order member was really something, you were once in the poison department before transferring. during your time in the poison department, you weren't just making poison but testing and training your body to endure poison.

when you transfer to the assassination course, nagumo just so happens to transfer departments too. clinging onto you and making you his buddy for joining at the same time.

of course you were dragged around with rion too, and when the school finally had enough of them, they were tasked on a mission and you were forcefully dragged in as well. who would've thought that mission was the turning point for everyone. the mission was to be part of the order, rion and the guy, uzuki went missing and later on sakamoto brings the sudden news of a friend passing.

as everything slowly changed around you, nagumo forced himself to stay right by you like a sore thumb. whenever there's missions where more than one was required, he somehow manages to drag you with him. to nagumo, you never changed. you were the confident assassin he fell in love with and he can't stop falling for you.

eventually your work in the assassination world caught the attention of sei asaki, jaa chairman. he proposed and threatened you into marrying him, one where you really can't back out. this marriage was going to protect him against anyone.

when sakamoto suddenly left the order, you were gone too. nagumo was alone, you never stepped outside after your secret marriage. everyone knows sei asaki is a married man but no one knows who the unlucky woman was. your sudden disappearance did shock the world like how the legendary hitman disappeared. some rumours were how sakamoto and you got married and are most likely living a quiet life. that definitely makes nagumo want to drink poison till he's sober, because if you did marry sakamoto why? he's more charming and funny, why wasn't he invited to the wedding if such actually happen.

nagumo thinks about you and that rumour a lot and when he meets sakamoto again, his heart hammers hard, what if he really did marry you? later on he learns that yes sakamoto was married to another woman, not named y/n. guess he'll believe in the second popular rumour of your disappearance - death.

( massive time skip to when uzuki attempts to kill asaki and nagumo stabs uzuki, chapter 153 )

when sei asaki was faced with his younger brother and nagumo, oh how he wishes his dear wife was here. thank the heavens when you arrived, attempting to stab nagumo with your blade, your veil revealing your stern expression he misses whenever you're on a killing spree.

" y/n! " both nagumo and rion uzuki calls as asaki can't help but smile, how he'll win this fight with you here. you stand in front of asaki.

" where have you been? did you really marry that ugly?! " rion shouts as nagumo looks back and forth, what marriage? no one said anything about you marrying jaa chairman.

" dear y/n, my wife. kill them! " asaki demands as the ceiling rumbles, falling on asaki, revealing a sakamoto. you stiffen your laugh as nagumo runs up to hug you.

" I miss you, " his voice softens and cracks, you can't help the tears welling up in your eyes.

" well? " you push him off, looking at rion's new appearance.

after they explained the situation, the museum security activates, nagumo pulls you along but you stay glued on your spot, shaking your head as sakamoto and rion take nagumo up.

nagumo glares at his friends. he finally found you!

" why? " nagumo questions, pulling on sakamoto's shirt.

" y/n will come, she's safe with the chairman. the main issue is with rion staying as uzuki, " nagumo can't help but tremble with rage. sure that's important but you were his top priority.

just then the announcement to eliminate uzuki, sakamoto and nagumo came.

" y/n, if I were you, I'd stay by her husband's side. as lovers you shouldn't think of another man. have I not given you enough? " asaki pulls you in for a hug, for the first time since being with asaki. you cried, he looks down and cups your face, wiping away tears.

" why the waterworks? " he coos as you try to control your breathing.

nagumo's going to die with that announcement, announced. all of order will hunt him, he's basically a refugee. now that you met him again, you long to embrace him once more.

" it's nothing, " you look away from asaki as he brings your face to look at him, his solemn expression.

" I'm your husband, I love you very much, " he leans down to kiss your forehead.

I just read Sakamoto Days chapter 164, and things aren't looking that good for our heroes tbh...

Takamura comes in and tries to attack the trio (Sakamoto, Nagumo, and Uzuki)... Later Nagumo jumps in and saves Uzuki's ass from Takamura...

Nagumo contemplates whether to save Uzuki or not and why he's even helping Uzuki even though he murdered so many of his friends and comrades in the past. Sure "Akao" personality lives within him, but he's not Akao and Akao is dead.

And just when he is about to say something to Uzuki, this happens...

Okay, so I don't think Nagumo's gonna die because first of all, he's a major side character, and killing him off like this won't make any sense. Also, that whole Kindaka and Yotsumura shit still remained unresolved since Nagumo's the only one who knows those two are still alive...

Second of all... sure, Nagumo's badly injured but Sakamoto doesn't look too worried about it. Rather he looks calm here and is more focused on defeating Takamura...

Third of all, Nagumo's the only friend Sakamoto has left. And Nagumo's not just any friend; he's Sakamoto's best friend from high school days, and killing him off would not only make Sakamoto really sad, but it would greatly affect him both mentally and emotionally...

Sakamoto lost Akao, Hyo, his mentors, teachers, and a lot more. Killing off Nagumo would be a cruel thing to do to both Sakamoto and the readers in general.

Also, in the last chapter (Chap-163), Shin, Shishiba, and Osaragi heard about the announcement, and I'm sure they're gonna jump in to save Nagumo's life and help Sakamoto defeat Takamura...

Not to mention in this new chapter, it has shown that Gaku's probably waking up and there's a high possibility that he might help Sakamoto to take down Takamura. After all he's some beef with that old man from their past encounter...

Also, Mr. Skinny-Moto is back!!! And he looks so fucking cool fighting that old geezer Takamura!!

But my biggest problem with these new chapters is how some fans are reacting to it. Like Nagumo's injured and Sakamoto's fighting Takamura to death, but these readers are excited to see our heroes getting bodied like that. I mean like seriously??? Sakamoto and Nagumo are our main heroes here, and if Takamura is trying to kill them off, then he's the bad guy here. You should pray for our heroes, not cheer for the old man who's trying to kill them. I get that Takamura is OP af and is a cool character despite his little screen time, but he's here trying to kill off Nagumo and Sakamoto and that's not something to be excited about. Like those readers are actually excited to see Nagumo and Sakamoto getting bodied and injured who also have the potential to die even, just because Takamura is back on the scene and is showing off his moves. It's so crazy how people want Takamura to succeed in the mission as if they really want Takamura to actually kill off Sakamoto and Nagumo. That's unhinged at every level possible.

Anyway, things are getting hyped up. Looks like Sakamoto, Nagumo, and Uzuki's groups are probably gonna team up together to take down Takamura and also Uzuki's brother, the JAA president, Sei Asaki.

Yeah, we really need to kill off this bastard... 😠😡😤

I made Tsumugi for two reasons.

The first Is because i wanted to Explore more Takamura as a character. We really know little of him, he's a total mystery for everyone but he isn't a mindless killer. He appear to try and be hyper aware of the situation. I thought It was nice making someone who completely trustful of him, without a second motive. I really wanted him to be accompanied by some much weaker and full of kindness.

The second motive Is so that someone could bully Sei Asaki openly because i thought It was funny.

ANIME RECAP: PIAZZO IL NUOVO TRAILER DI SAINT SEIYA IN LIVE ACTION E IL BLOG VOLA

Con il nuovo megapost vi porto tanti nuovi video, locandine e anche qualche data. Spoiler: l'anime di Shy è programmato per quest'anno!

Fra scosse di terremoto che mi hanno fatto perdere anni di vita e altre questioni sempre non propriamente piacevoli, che non vi sto ad elencare, vi dirò la verità, me la sono presa con più calma del solito nel raggruppare le novità di questo fine settimana.

L'ANIME RECAP era già pronto nel tardo pomeriggio, ma non avevo neanche l'ombra di un'idea di che immagine usare in apertura! Esatto, sono messo così male. 😅

Non c'è tanta roba di cui parlare a differenza dell'ultima volta, ma qualche highlight non manca, tipo il nuovo trailer del live action de I Cavalieri dello Zodiaco (che vi ho messo prontamente in pole position u_u), l'arrivo dell'anime di Shy nell'arco di quest'anno e il primo promo di Reign of the Seven Spellblades, di cui non si sapeva nulla da un bel po'. Novo trailer e continuo a non sapere cosa pensare del film. Di sicuro cercherò di andarlo a vedere al cinema, giusto per farmi qualche risata con del popcorn in mano! Chissà, magari poi non è brutto come potrebbe sembrare e Sean Bean potrebbe sorprenderci ancora di più, non morendo una volta tanto.

Questa prima pellicola (se va bene si parla, potenzialmente, della realizzazione di sei film in tutto), diretta da Tomasz Baginski  e sceneggiata da Kiel Murray (Raya e l'ultimo drago), Josh Campbell (10 Cloverfield Lane) e Matt Stuecken (Notorious Nick), uscirà in Giappone il 28 aprile, mentre qua in Italia il 26 giugno.

🔶🔸 SUMMONED TO ANOTHER WORLD...AGAIN?!

Nuovo promo per l’anime tratto dall’action fantasy harem di Kazuha Kishimoto, che mostra qualche incertezza lato grafico di troppo rispetto al precedente, con disegni e animazioni non propriamente entusiasmanti, devo dire.

Vi ricordo che la serie è il primo progetto in solitaria di STUDIO ELLE e coinvolge principalmente uno staff di debuttanti. Il primo episodio andrà in onda il 9 aprile.

Anche qua non navighiamo di certo nella sakuga, ma come vi ho già anticipato, con me questa serie ha un occhio di riguardo anche solo per il fatto di essere un vero e proprio thriller puro.

Fra l'altro comincerà ad andare in onda dal 2 aprile e arriverà in simulcast su Crunchyroll

L'anime si basa sul manga ideato da Naoki Yamakawa (I’m Standing on a Million Lives) e illustrato da Masashi Asaki, pubblicato qua in Italia da Panini Comics.

La regia della serie, in produzione presso TEZUKA PRODUCTIONS (Adachi and Shimamura, The Dawn of the Witch), è affidata a Takashi Kamei, che in passato ha supervisionato il capitolo “Il Sorgere della Terra” della trilogia Transformers: War for Cybertron su Netflix.

🔶🔸 REIGN OF THE SEVEN SPELLBLADES

Annunciata ormai un paio di anni fa, la serie tratta dal nuovo action fantasy scolastico firmato da Bokuto Uno (Alderamin on the Sky) si mostra in un primo trailer, rimandandoci alla premiere che si terrà a luglio.

Sarà il castello, le tuniche o le spade usate come bacchette, ma il video mi ha portato alla mente Harry Potter e spero veramente che l'ambientazione scolastica venga sfruttata in modo simile.

La regia è affidata a Masato Matsune (Chronos Ruler) e la produzione è in corso presso J.C. STAFF. 

🔶🔸 MY CLUELESS FIRST FRIEND

Lo ripeto sin dall'annuncio, ma questa serie trasuda wholesomeness da ogni frame e questo nuovo trailer non fa che rafforzare la mia idea. Sono contento che avremo modo di seguirla in simulcast su su Crunchyroll dal 9 aprile.

Tratto dal manga di Taku Kawamura, l'anime è diretto da Shigenori Kageyama (Dynamic Chord, Himawari!) presso STUDIO SIGNPOST.

L'attesa è quasi finita! L'anime tornerà in onda a partire dal 9 aprile. Per chi non avesse seguito la serie, i primi 12 episodi sono già disponibili su Crunchyroll, sottotitolati.  

L’anime è in lavorazione presso lo studio SUNRISE (ora conosciuto come Bandai Namco Filmworks) ed è diretto da Hiroshi Kobayashi (Kiznaiver, Spriggan), assieme a Ryo Ando (Interviews with Monster Girls, Double Decker! Doug & Kirill).

L’adattamento è in lavorazione presso lo studio 8-BIT e a dirigerlo c'è Masaomi Ando (Astra Lost in Space, Toilet-bound Hanako-kun).

La nuova serie animata, ispirata allo storico manga di Shigeru Mizuki, sbarcherà su Netflix in autunno.

L'anime è diretto da Fumitoshi Oizaki (A Centaur's Life, Romeo × Juliet), dietro alla supervisione di Junichi Sato (Aria, Sailor Moon), che al tempo lavorò pure all'originale prima serie del 1989.

🔶🔸 SHANGRI-LA FRONTIER

Fissato anche il periodo di debutto per la serie che, a partire da ottobre, porterà in tv l'action adventure di Katarina e Ryosuke Fuji (L’Attacco dei Giganti - Lost Girls), edito qua in Italia da Panini Comics.

We were first introduced to the ex JAA Chairman and Sei Asaki. We also learned that Sei Asaki is Uzuki's "big brother" and Uzuki was secretly on a mission as Asaki's spy.

We were first introduced to the ex JAA Chairman and Sei Asaki. We also learned that Sei Asaki is Uzuki's "big brother" and Uzuki was secretly on a mission as Asaki's spy.

Nagumo is prolly the big bad of the series as I just can't digest Asaki as final villain. Nagumo is harbouring a fugitive (Yotsumura) and has turned him into his slave, not to mention he keeps Kindaka suspended in life all these years, and now he don't plan to tell the upper echelon of X's bombing plan. It's unfathomable how he's putting his message across like he don't care if thousands of civilians die in the exhibition as long as X is finished. That's nuts man.

I was telling another anon that Nagumo was on my sus list since forever but now the suspicion has tremendously decreased. The final big bad of the series imo is Sei Asaki -whom I don’t think would die easily. Now I'll break down all the points you've listed so you can try see the possible good/advantage behind his actions which I've spent some time analysing & theorizing. It's not perfect thou, sorry in advance.

1] Nagumo harbouring Yotsumura, a supposed "dead man". -> We know that Yotsumura was a big deal as he was the former JAA Chairman's right-hand man. And no matter which era (lol), someone in the JAA wants Yotsumura dead. In the past, Kei told Asaki that he'd get rid of Kindaka so that those in the way of him becoming chairman are eliminated. Soichi tells us that in the event that he dies, either Yotsumura or Asaki will become the next Chairman. That's why Yotsumura was framed for Soichi's assassination. Yotsumura knew he was set up, he probably has all the suspicions on Asaki but at that time nobody would bother to listen to his story. And years later Shishiba got tasked to finish the job again & once more, Yotsumura didn't die. If this reaches Asaki's ears, bro would be mad af & again send someone to hunt Yotsumura's head simply because Yotsumura knew the truth behind Asaki's rise to chairmanship. And so does Slur too. Asaki doesn't wanna get exposed cuz maybe he knows there should be people who'd be after his head for all his misdeeds. Does Nagumo know abt this? I belive he does maybe not everything but most of the stuff. I bet he knew of JAA's corruption over the years but he's gathering evidence & waiting for the right time to take action. For now as we see things, Nagumo is just using Yotsumura to investigate Rion's death -which I'm very certain it's linked to Asaki. Perhaps it's just Rion's mysterious death that he couldn't get info on, or he needs confirmation on the assumptions he have, which is why he decides to capture Yotsumura. Speaking of this yknow I think he had the gut feeling that Shishiba won't kill Yotsumura again & he was actually spying their battle from far otherwise how would he know where Yotsumura was.

2] Nagumo keeps Kindaka suspended since eight/nine years ago. -> As he says, Kindaka was an "important witness to Uzuki's disappearance". He didn't elaborate but I'm sure he means several things and not only "Uzuki's disappearance". Nagumo wasn't present precisely at the time when Kindaka got hurt and I think he'd want Kindaka's testimony about everything that he could try to get an answer out of -whether Uzuki actually hurt him on that day, what actually happened between them, if Kindaka knew or suspected that the JAA spy was Uzuki, whether Kindaka knew of anyone in the higher-ups who may have ordered Rion's death or instructed Uzuki to kill Rion, if the bodyguard mission was actually a set-up for somethin else, is Kindaka actually in on some JAA secrets, etc. Idk if Kindaka will still be able to talk but i assume he can or maybe he'll just nod/shake his head to answer..?

3] Nagumo keeps Slur's bombing plan a secret from the higher-ups. -> Yea he doesn't want them to cancel the whole thing cuz then he wouldn't be able to capture (or kill🥲) Slur. I'm still unsure abt the beef he has against Slur apart from he was simping bad for Rion and he was just jelly that she took off with Slur bby (lol) but I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt that he will capture Slur instead of offing him. He wants answers and while Yotsumura is tasked to find them, Slur is like the best person to get a straight answer out of so why kill him..? I mean he can t0rture Slur to get the truth 😅 he can even find out the reason why Slur wants to kill Asaki & why he hates the JAA so much. I'm expecting a plot twist where Nagumo won't kill Slur cuz he wants every single truth -from their JCC days mission & the spy stuff, the mysteries of the dissapearances & deaths & how Slur managed to survive (how he becomes Rion too), etc. And frankly speaking I bet Nagumo alr knew ALMOST everything, including that Uzuki was the JAA mole in the JCC days arc but he probably just wants to hear it first-hand from the man himself cuz like I said, I'm dead set on Nagumo capturing Slur instead of offing him.

4] Nagumo doesn't care if thousands of civilians die in the exhibition as long as X is finished. -> The bigger picture is that if Slur is not dealt with, he will continue to kill MORE innocent civilians.. Idk what Nagumo's ideals are but from how he worded it, he'd rather sacrifice a thousand to catch a criminal so that the deaths of even more thousands of innocents can be prevented. Nagumo & Shishiba know that Slur's bombing plan is only set for the day Asaki comes to the exhibit. Measures are in place & I'm sure he's confident in his fellow ORDER members and Sakamoto too, maybe, that they'll do their best to handle the situation and not let the bomb go off. Surely they aren't gonna sit around & do nothing & let everyone die there 😂 it's also possible that Nagumo has other plans of his own like maybe he wants Slur to rly make an appearance in front of Asaki & witness their confrontation himself? Or maybe wheel Kindaka in w his life support system & why not throw Yotsumura into the mix too & then let everyone get a piece of Asaki?

All this aside, there is possibility that there are two sides to the JAA right now. Maybe there exists a "Resistance" group which Nagumo is the sole member or the leader & they're operating in secret to uncover the hidden secrets of the corrupt JAA in the midst of all the chaos, before they can take the next course of actions to do what Slur also aims to do: reform the assassin world/bring about a new ORDER.

hello soy! do you know if suzuki has mentioned anything about how far along we are in sakadays (like whether we’re at the halfway mark, or like how many more years before the series is predicted to end etc)? i realllyyy don’t want sakadays to end anytime soon haha 😅

Hi, anon! No I haven't seen any article/news/comments from Suzuki-sensei saying the series is at which mark hahaha but personally I think we're alr 3/4 into the series. This arc may be the longest & the biggest i think... There's many things to learn & loose ends that need to be tied up so i think we're safe w possibly..... less than a year to the end of series? Believe me, I don't wish for the series to end either :(

My take is that the final arc will be "VS the final boss aka Sei Asaki". And I think the conclusion to the series should be the reconstruction of the new JAA, ORDER (whether they'll still exist or cease to exist), etc.. I'm guessing several ORDER members will be injured in this ongoing arc & Idk why but i feel like Takamura-jiji will be the God-level threat that's protecting Asaki😕i just need Slur to at least achieve one of his goals since he's come so far (lmao Soy whose side are you on?!) so the only thing i want him to accomplish is Asaki's demise hahahaha. Especially if Asaki were the one behind Rion's death! Cuz there's no way Suzuki-sensei will allow that disgusting human to live.... right? Imprisonment ain't enough for this man! I'm also thinkin we're gettin more closer to the truth behind Rion's mysterious death & Slur's survival so be ready for the truth!

By end of series I imagine that Slur & his little family would be living happily and then Sakamoto's Store will expand into a supermarket and we'll get to see more assassins be converted to Sakamoto's employees and help him run the business.
