The Lord gives favor to those who don't let the wicked lead him astray, nor walks like sinners, nor does he want you to take on any of the behaviors of the wicked. In other words the wicked doesn't have anything wise to advise you of because they lack wisdom of the Bible, they go by their own rules and choose to live a life is sin what could they possibly offer you? If you're seeking out the narrow path and living for God there's no way you can live a life of lawlessness. Your pleasure is to seek the kingdom and meditate on the word of God day and night.

I N T R O

Hii! 

I am Ashley-Kristine ( yup I have 2 first names 🙂). Long story short, I was your run of the mill lukewarm Christian until I decided to truly surrender my whole being to Him, God, my Abba (father in Hebrew, in case you were wondering). And let me tell you, walking the Christian walk is no easy feat. It's had me crying on the subway and in the shower multiple times but I would rather that then going back to my old destructive ways. But it's also been so rewarding and not so much in the material sense like some slimy prosperity preaching televangelists will have you thinking. It's made me less attached to this world and content with my situation right now. So I'll continue to persevere on this journey into unknown territory only being led by God and resisting the urge to take control of a life that was never mine to begin with.

I bought this domain in March 2019 and I am finally finished setting it up in mid August 2019. I have an exorbitant amount of  excuses as to why but none are worth telling you. Makes me think about how I always want a rapid response from God yet it takes me months to do what He asks 🤔

Because I was having some difficulties setting up this website I resorted to posting my writings on Instagram. But now I am finally going to be putting them in their rightful place on this blog.  

I’m only on here because I am trying to find different outlets to glorify God and this is one of those ways. I was inspired to start posting by a list called Who I am in Christ from a book called Victory Over The Darkness by Neil T. Anderson. There are three part of the list: 

I Am Accepted

I Am Secure 

I Am Significant 

Theses posts are my thoughts on most of the verses on the list that remind Christians of who they are in Christ. I hope you are ministered by them! ⁣

Good morning! Happy Sabbath! Hope you had an amazing week! My week was kind of long with work, but it was pretty good overall. Today I want to encourage and remind us to seek Gods kingdom and way of life above all else. The verses leading up to this scripture are talking about the worries of this world, what you will wear, what you will eat, and the verse afterwards says do not worry about tomorrow, for it will worry about itself. Today is the Sabbath, a foreshadow is what is to come in the kingdom of God. Keep the Sabbath Holy, spend time with God in prayer and meditation and bible study. Worship God as He wants to be worshipped. Spend time with your friends and family. Don’t dwell on the world, seek God and His way of life, everything else will fall into place.
