i saw the haunted mansion movie today and here is my very autistic (spoiler free) review of it as it is my core special interest and the object of my study for 5 years now:

You know what???

I am so frustrated that i cannot manage to sketch a pose for Mephisto and Aranea (it needs to be PERFECT. PERFECT.), that i will just took the tension off my back and draw some Lucanis/Ravenna smluff.

I need to figure out their how to draw them spicy anyway, so i might as well practice a little bit (and if the Gods are kind enough with me, it might also unlock the what i need for Mephistea and I might be able to actually draw them fml. It frustrates me to no limits because I CRAVE Mephistea smluff and cannot do it because what i sketch doesn't satisfy me enough🙄🙄🙄🙄).

At this, Randall tilted his head as he gave it some thought: In some ways, he sort of understood where his best friend was coming from. Since his grandparents and uncles had arrived at the Mansion, it felt like they were starting a new, exciting chapter. It felt like a new door was opened, and through that door came...so many possibilities! His parents would surely keep in touch with their extended families once they returned home, the Paces and Burkes no doubt wanting to be kept abreast of what was going on at Gracey Manor, and vice versa...chances were good they'd be back for birthdays and holidays; hell, one of these days, he'd get a chance to meet his aunts and all his cousins! It was frightening and exciting all at once.

And even beyond that, more had come from the presence of the visitors: Both his mother and father got to reconnect with their family and get to know their respective in-laws, and while they had some bumps in the proverbial road, given the heavier topics in the family, that hadn't stopped them at all from taking comfort in each other's presence and enjoying their time together. It was even eye-opening for the children; Lon got to see there were more twins like him in the family, and Erika was slowly but surely beginning to open up around the visitors. It all felt like the start of something new.

"Y'know...I like the sound of that," Randall smiled, and Dorian smiled back, before saying, "On a completely different note, I had some patterns I'd like you to look at for some new clothes I've had in mind. I may not be able to get them to you until later, what with all the planning, but I'd appreciate it if you gave them a once-over, and gave me your thoughts."

"I'd be happy to!" Randall replied brightly-anything for his best friend, after all.

Anyway so the Close Family does go to Disneyland, they do maybe two or three things before Glenn takes Taylor to Buzz Lightyear’s Astroblasters and Taylor does not leave the ride because it’s one of his favorite anime and he can score points and take over the leaderboard.

RIP to the Peoplemover because he would have loved that too.

so because im insane i tried to find that sweatshirt harry anderson was wearing in that friday night videos thing and found out it was a reversible disney sweatshirt, with one side being mickey mouse comics, and the other side being a huge image of minnie mouse

But I'm definitely going team Palace

While I kinda like theme parks, I don't really go on anything, I just like how hectic and full of energy it is (also I slipped a disc last time I went on a bigger one so that muddied the experience). Definitely not going beach because I genuinely just hate beaches (the sand + the air + I hate the heat + last times I went I got pretty sick somehow)

But I'm picking palace for castles because castles are fuckin great. Very fond memory of mine is going to some ancient stone castle in the middle of the woods with my family. Huge vibe and I just love castles like that
