wait did people actually interpret the stan o war ending as them not going back to gravity falls for a few months every year and instead as them only ever staying on the boat?? i thought that them staying for summers or just regular breaks + them constantly having video chats with family and friends was something everyone just assumed lol
(people tend to forget their motto of 'growing old doesn't mean growing up' too huh)
#the 'see you next summer' applied to them too!#plus the implication that hey we're actually gonna get grandpa stan when soos and melody have kids#he's gonna spoil them rotten and show off his cool adventures!!!#(but also him struggling with being called grandpa and everyone trying to stop him from getting them to call him grunkle instead)#(i can see the point of some folks being a bit ship brained about this when they say that ford would stay at mcgucket's mansion instead#sure he'd likely stay over a few times just like how mabel does with grenda and candy but he'd want to live in the shack??)#kinda wish that the hc that the reconstruction of the shack had them adding more rooms and renovating the basement was popular#'oh they'll argue like crazy' eh i think tbob especially is firm with their dynamic being pretty settled#it's like insisting that 'nah mabel and dipper should've actually been separated cos they argue all the time and will continue to argue'#or 'mabel and dipper should've stayed in gf!!! that's where all their closest family and friends are!!!'#or even 'they shouldn't go back to gf that's where all their most worst moments were and they were in danger all the time!!'#i think w3 was pretty firm that the moment they stop fighting they immediately get along super well???#plus the stan twins can also like make friends with people outside of town for once too#(stan.... noticably doesn't have any friends still ya know? and ford only has one ksahkdsha)#(it is pretty noticable that stan never really got along with any of the townsfolk....)#folks in that other post was very much 'well ford would want to have a home after being adrift for so long' and 1. family is what they#consider as home whether that be the boat or the shack#and 2. urgh people ignoring that stan was trapped in one place for 30 years....

The wind picked up speed as Lucas and his team stepped on the backyard of the Wilson Residence. Guns drawn, stance ready, they took the steps to the back entrance.
Nadia and Artie moved in first, Matt in tow and Lucas in the end. They hear not a single sound around them. Matt signaled clear after checking the rooms and the kitchen, Nadia let her shoulders relax watching him sign.
“Where are they?” Artie whispered.
The radio in the kitchen turns on its own accord…
Can't stay at home, can't stay at school
Old folks say, "Ya poor little fool"
Down the streets I'm the girl next door
I'm the fox you've been waiting for!
Lucas shoots the radio; the broken device fell to the floor with a thud. A scratched-out sound of Cherry Bomb still playing on.
“That’s a shame…”
Nadia was too slow to turn before you hit her head with the butt of your Glock, “I love that song.”
Artie fell on the floor as Joaquin kicked him in the back, you advanced towards Matt. The first thing that bastard did was to kick off the floor and punch you square in the jaw, but you duck in record time, just to kick his feet off the ground and lose your Glock in the process.
Joaquin got busy with Artie and Lucas, who had teamed up to defeat him. Lucas ducked a kick on his chest, and Artie tried to stab him in the neck. Joaquin got a knife out of his belt and fought with all his might, after throwing Lucas on the kitchen table.
Matt was twice your size, he got up in no time trying to throw you off your feet but you were smarter than that, you ran on the wall, kicking off it and using the velocity to climb his shoulders. You pull a hidden wire from your wrist, falling back and choking him in the process. Matt fought hard to get a hold of you, but you pressed on harder. His movements slowed down, and eventually he stilled as you released the wire.
Joaquin was pinned down on the ground with Artie on top of him, his blade inches away from his windpipe. Joaquin pushed hard on his end of blade, trying to nick off his collarbone. Lucas came rushing towards them now recovered from being thrown on the table… Joaquin threw off all his strength to turn his entire body sideways, which in turn put Artie on the side, giving him a chance to stab him just where his neck met his shoulder.
You got up to rush to Lucas, but fell face first feeling a stronghold on your ankle. Turning, you meet a very pissed off looking Nadia with blood covering her face.
She held a Glock, your glock, aiming at you. You kick her in the face, grabbing your knife in the holster. You sit up to stab her in the back, just an inch away from her heart.
So why was it that you felt a sharp jab on your shoulder?
You look at the source, only to see a blade sticking out of your right shoulder. Nadia’s hand being the holder. She looked you right in the eye as she twisted the blade deeper. You grunt, stabbing the woman again and again until she stopped.
Unbearable pain clouded your senses, but Joaquin’s voice brought you back to your senses, turning towards him to see him spar with Lucas, taking punches and pulling ones. You got on your knees to snatch your Glock from Nadia’s dead fingers, keeping an eye on Joaquin.
Blood ran down his elbow from his palm, he staggered on his feet trying to get a jab at Lucas, but found himself covered in his brains once you shot Lucas in the forehead.
You sighed, feeling your tank top getting wet with blood. It felt like an out of body experience, Natasha’s voice echoing somewhere inside your head; “Your brain is in shock trying to process the pain. Get the blade out, press on a cloth and get the hell out of here before one of them wakes up.”
“y/n, look at me.” Joaquin grabbed your face, making you look at him. He glanced at the knife sticking out of your body. “This might hurt.” Saying so he pulled on the blade, prying it off.
You screamed out loud as he pressed hard on your shoulder with a cloth bandage.
How are you lying on the floor?
Joaquin lifted you up like you weighed nothing, “We gotta go. Come on…” resting your head on his shoulder, you try not to pass out looking at the blood running down his face.
------------------------------
Seeing double with an open stab wound was never good news. Joaquin’s jacket did enough to hide the blood and bandage on your shoulder, but it was only a matter of time until some keen observer in the hotel lobby looked at you long enough to know you were unwell.
Leaning on the wall next to you, you watched as Joaquin came towards you and wrapped his arm over your shoulder, careful of your wound, he whispers, “you alright?”
“Kinda.” Your words came out slurred.
“Let’s go.” He led you towards your room, and despite knowing there was no chance of you being followed, you still looked over your shoulder.
As soon as the door opened, you limped towards the bed and Joaquin closed the door and the blinds. Taking off your jacket, you made the rookie mistake of taking a glance at yourself in the mirror.
Your hair was unkempt, your tank top’s strap was torn to pieces, the entire right side of your body covered in blood. The open wound right under your collarbone stared back at you through the mirror.
The room suddenly felt too small, the taste of metal heavy on your tongue.
“whoa!” Joaquin grabs your left side before you fall to the floor, his eyes find yours, and it is then you see the hidden fear in his eyes. He acted fine until now, witnessing the amount of damage on your body.
He helps you sit on the bed, and lean back on the headboard while pressing his jacket on your torso before tearing off your straps. Holding out a piece of rolled up fabric, he holds out to your mouth, “you’ll need this.” You’ve been through this before, never on this scale; but you don’t argue with him before biting into it.
The last thing you felt before blacking out was the burning sensation of rubbing alcohol on your skin and Joaquin’s hand holding yours.
----------------------------
The smell of spirit lingered in the air, as you were woken up from deep sleep by a gentle voice. Opening your eyes, you see the bedside digital clock showing 02:18, and your eyes travel to Joaquin sitting on a chair next to the bed. His white vest had spots of blood, your blood, on it. His right hand was bandaged poorly, and the cut above his eyebrow had two butterfly tapes.
“You scared me for a while.” He says while gently caressing your forehead.
“What happened?” you groaned, trying to sit up, he placed a pillow behind you as you leaned back on the headboard. You look down at your body to find your tank top gone, and you wore Joaquin’s Air Force T Shirt. You look at him again to see his shoulders slumped with exhaustion, his eyes heavy. He hadn’t slept the entire night.
“You passed out while I was cleaning your wound, I woke you up to give you some medicines, and you fell asleep.”
“I don’t remember that.” You huffed out, looking at the ceiling.
Joaquin holds your hand, and you feel the rough bandage on your skin, “are you alright?” you look at him and his line of vision, which were trained on your hand.
“yeah.” You sit up straighter, and take his hand in yours, “I’m fine Joaquin, hey,” you gently hold his face that makes him look at you, “I promise.” You smile.
You rest his injured hand on your lap and open the bandage to redo it properly. The next few minutes are spent in silence, the occasional honk and sound of passing vehicles outside being the only noise. You take a proper look at his hand after you’re done, and you bring it to your lips to kiss.
Joaquin inhales sharply as your lips touch his fingers, and your eyes lock on his.
“I thought I would lose you today.” He says, his eyes flickering from yours to your lips.
“I ain’t going anywhere Joaquin. I’m right here.” Your voice came out as a whisper, and he held your face in his hands.
He looks into your eyes again, silently asking for your consent, and your reply wordlessly by leaning towards him.
The kiss was gentle.
Joaquin’s lips were featherlight on yours and you closed your eyes to feel him whole. Holding the back of his neck you brought him closer as you fell back on the headboard, and he climbed the bed to hover over you.
You kiss each other slowly, letting go of the fear of losing each other flow through it.
You savor it; the warmth of his body, his breath on your face, his hands on your waist. He continues to kiss you as his hands traveled your body, and you didn’t open your eyes in fear that it was some kind of dream.
He cautiously pulls you down on the mattress, your back meeting the sheets of your motel bed. Joaquin gets on his knees to take off his vest, tossing it on the floor. Your eyes couldn’t leave his toned torso, and his broad shoulders covered you entirely when he leaned forward, trailing kisses on your neck. The contrast in the touch of both his hands; one bandaged and one not… you closed your eyes yet again to just feel his touch on your skin. You couldn’t breathe by the way he bit your neck, and you arched your back as his hands gathered the t-shirt to roll it up to your ribs.
“We can stop if you want to.” He says in between kisses, and you moan, “no, please… don’t.”
“As you wish…” he says, his breath hot on your neck. He kissed you right in the valley of your breasts, and sucked on your skin.
You locked eyes with him as he carefully removed the t-shirt off of your body, leaving you in only your jeans. You grabbed a fistful of his hair as his lips left open mouthed kisses on your nipples, you heard him moan as he squeezed your breasts, a sound that made you pull on his hair harder, which only made him louder.
Joaquin made quick work on his belt as you quickly removed your jeans, but he clutched your hand halfway, “wait…” stumbling on his words, “uh… you’re hurt… let me…” he held your jeans and you let them go, as he pulled them down your legs and on the floor.
His hands caressed your thighs, and his gaze lingered on your body. The intensity of it made you shiver, but it wasn’t lust you saw in them.
He wanted you, needed you. Recalling the kiss that you shared earlier today; this was the complete opposite of it. This was pure adoration.
You were his reverence.
While the shadow of his tousled hair masked his forehead, he locked eyes with you. As he lowered his body bringing his face closer to your thighs, you didn’t dare look away. You arched your back as Joaquin’s arms held you down, his muscles flexing as he kissed your inner thigh, and a loud whine left your lips as he tasted you on his tongue.
He stopped only when your moans turned into screams, and when you looked at him while heaving for breath, he was gasping for air, his pupils blown, but the gaze still gentle.
You locked your legs on his waist before you could stop yourself, and tossed him on the bed. Now he was under you, and you could feel how eager he was as you looked down at his tented boxers.
Joaquin caressed your waist, “take it easy, y/n.” as he shifted his gaze to your injured shoulder.
“Sure.” you breathed out, heart racing, as you lifted yourself up while he removed his boxers. As soon as you touched him to stroke, he fell back on the bed, his brows knit in pleasure. You laughed; watching how he was reacting to your touch.
“Huh… that wasn’t funny, querida.” he huffed, and you gasped as he grabbed your waist to pull himself up.
Joaquin was now inches away from your face, his chest pressed to yours as he locked his arms around your waist. You tried to wrap yours around his neck, but you hissed as a sharp pain shot through your injured shoulder straight to your neck.
“Ow!” you buried your face on the nape of his neck, as he stiffened within you.
“Told you to take it easy. he whispered as he caressed your hair, “you wanna stop?”
“No,” you whined, lifting your face to look at him, “no… I…” you huffed out, “I want you.”
He exhaled, replying with a warm smile, “okay.”
Joaquin gently held both of your wrists and brought your hands to his face to let you hold on to his neck, and you gladly did. He tucked a strand of hair behind your ear, and closed his eyes before leaving a kiss on your lips. He pulled you closer as you lowered yourself on him, moaning in each other’s mouths. As you moved, he kept on kissing you.
Your pace increased as you felt his heartbeat on your skin, his hands grabbing your back. He kissed your face as you lifted your chin, leaving trails on your face and reaching your neck, but you grabbed his hair, pulling him back and exposing his neck to you. Sucking on his neck, you hugged him back, the sharp jab on your shoulder now least of your worries. He pushed into you as you continued to suck and bite his skin wherever you could. He tried his best not to pull your hair, but failed as he grabbed a handful by the end only to bring you closer.
Fighting for air, you kissed him on his mouth… stroking him even after he came inside you.
Joaquin fell back on the bed, bringing you into his arms; exhausted, spent, the two of you fighting for breath.
You shifted to your uninjured side and you held him while resting your head on his chest; groaning, he adjusted himself so you could lay your head in his arms and stroked your hair,
Both you and Joaquin couldn’t tear your eyes away from each other. He was a sight to behold—his unruly hair sticking to his forehead, his face flushed, and the marks you left on his skin gradually shifting in color.
“You good?” he whispers, his fingers gently tracing the curve of your bare back.
“Yeah. You?” you murmur, feeling the weight of sleep beginning to settle in.
A chuckle bubbles in his throat, and you can't help but smirk when he slaps a hand over his eyes, letting out a soft laugh.
“Penny for your thoughts?” you tease, poking his cheek.
“You are…” he sighs, his voice serious but amused. “Don’t take this the wrong way, but you’re really skilled with what you did earlier.”
You raise an eyebrow, unable to suppress a giggle. “You mean the way I body-slammed a Flag Smasher? Or are you talking about…”
“Uh…” He glances up at the ceiling, and you swear you see him blush. “Both.”
You both burst into laughter, and he pulls the covers over you, tucking you close to him. As your eyes meet, your heart skips a beat when his fingers trail over your bare back once more.
“Can’t we stay like this forever?” he asks, his voice soft. “This feels like a dream.”
“It’s real.” You reach up, your fingers gently brushing the cut over his eye. “And even if it is a dream, it’s the best one I’ve ever had.”
His gaze softens at your words, and with a gentle kiss to your forehead, he confesses, “Stay right here, will you?”
You nod, your voice a quiet whisper. “Yes.”
And with that, you slip into a peaceful, dreamless sleep.
--------------------------------
Three Weeks Later, Wilson Residence
Karli was dead, the Flag Smashers were wiped out in a mysterious blast (which Zemo swore he had no part in), and John Walker had vanished off the radar. Sam was now Captain America. You and Joaquin had managed to sit that one out due to injuries, and life—relatively speaking—was almost back to normal.
The last three weeks had been the most peaceful stretch you’d had since the Thanos attack in New York. After a brief visit to Sarah’s newly renovated house—where Sam had to fight you off when you offered to pay for everything—you and Joaquin were finally heading to Arizona. He was finally going to take you to see the Canyons, a promise he’d made all the way back in that attic you two had shared.
It was night now, the kids were asleep, but the dinner table in the Wilson residence was anything but quiet, as Sam and Bucky were recounting the first time they met Spiderman.
“…and we got this kid climbing on the roof, he slams Bucky onto the floor, and screams out something about impressing Tony…”
“…and then he webs you to the escalator…” Bucky grumbles in-between.
“…I was getting to that! Anyways, I let redwing take care of the rest and send him flying through the airport and dump him midair. Ha!” Sam laughs, waiting for a reaction.
Sarah leans forward, utterly bewildered, “So you dropped a kid midair because he webbed you to an escalator?”
Bucky stops her with a laugh, “In our defense, he was on the opposite team!”
You couldn't help teasing him, “Still, you attacked a kid.”
Sam threw a baby carrot at you. “Okay, okay! Stop throwing food, Sam. What are you, five?”
Sam was about to throw another one at youtube bucky grabbed the baby carrots bowl and passed it to sarah, who gladly put it out of his reach.
You shifted your attention to Joaquin, who was looking at the whole ordeal trying not to laugh. The cut above his eye had almost healed, only a faint trail of new skin the only sign that there ever was any injury.
“We have something to tell you guys,” Joaquin said, his voice a little too casual for the tension in the air. He reached under the table to take your hand, his thumb brushing over your skin.
You squeezed his hand in return, giving him a warm smile before you turned to look at Sam, Bucky, and Sarah.
Joaquin looked at you, the corners of his mouth lifting slightly, and then he said it: “Y/N and I are dating.”
The table went silent for a second, and then Sarah’s face lit up, her eyes sparkling. “Oh my god, I’m so happy for you both!”
Sam laughed loudly, throwing his head back, while Bucky froze, fork halfway to his mouth.
Bucky stared at the two of you in disbelief, his fork clicking loudly as it dropped to his plate. “Wait a minute... how long has this been going on?”
You winced. “About three weeks, maybe?”
Bucky groaned as he leaned back in his chair. “Three weeks? So, you’ve been hiding this from us?”
Joaquin shifted nervously in his seat. “Yeah, about that.”
“I swear, if you hurt Y/N—” Bucky's voice turned deadly serious, his Vibranium arm rising as he pointed it at Joaquin. “I’ll make sure you regret it.”
Joaquin quickly held up his hands. “I would never—”
“Good.” Bucky nodded, satisfied. “Just making sure, You two gross me out.” Bucky side eyes you as you respond by leaving a loud smooch on Joaquin’s cheek.
“Yeah, I’m gonna throw up.” Bucky grimaces and gets up from the table with his beer.
“Get outta here old man.” You scream, all in playfulness as he slams the porch door. Bucky had a knick of theatrics, and you knew deep down he was happy for you.
“He didn’t mean that, Buck’s a secret romantic and I bet you ten bucks he’s crying happy tears on the back porch.” Sam tells you both as you begin to clear out the table.
“I know.” You laugh, helping Joaquin with the dishes.
As Sarah and Sam left for their rooms, you and Joaquin took over cleaning the kitchen. The house fell into a quiet rhythm, the only sound the soft hum of the water running in the sink as you both washed the dishes.
“That went well,” Joaquin said, nudging your shoulder as you stacked the plates in the drying rack.
“Don’t worry, Sam and Sarah adore you. Bucky does too, he’s just... well, too stubborn to show it.” You rolled your eyes, feeling his hands wrap around your waist from behind, pulling you close.
He kissed your neck lightly as you finished stacking the last of the plates. “That was the last one,” you said, leaning back into him, letting yourself enjoy the closeness.
“Mmm-hmm...” You smirked, resting your hands on his as he tightened his grip around your waist.
“Everyone’s asleep,” he whispered, his lips brushing the back of your ear.
“I know,” you murmured, leaning back further into his chest. You could feel the warmth of his body against yours, his breath soft in your ear.
“Can we take this to the bedroom?” he grumbled, his voice low and inviting as he hugged you tighter.
You chuckled, glancing over your shoulder. “We’re sleeping on the couch, babe.”
His hands moved slowly to your hips as he nuzzled your neck, “Wanna take this to the couch then?” His playful tone was backed by the softest puppy eyes you’d ever seen.
Before you could even consider it, footsteps echoed down the hallway.
“Oh, for fuck’s sake!” Bucky’s voice rocked through the silence, causing both you and Joaquin to spring apart. You quickly went back to acting busy with the already stacked plates, trying to look as innocent as possible.
Bucky sighed loudly, his eyes toward the ceiling. “Please, for the love of god, tell me you two weren’t... doing that in Sarah’s kitchen.”
Joaquin let out a nervous, “...no.” His face flushed, making you stifle a laugh.
Bucky groaned, rubbing his temples. “I swear, you two...”
“Bucky,” you said, turning toward him with a teasing smile. “Were you crying?”
His eyes went wide, and he immediately shot you a glare. “No. I’m just... tired.” He slumped his shoulders dramatically. “And I’m taking the couch.”
He threw up his hands in exasperation. “You two can take the mattress on the floor. But if I hear so much as a whisper from either of you, I’ll kick you out myself.”
With that, he stormed off, muttering under his breath.
You turned to Joaquin, fighting back a grin. His face was bright red, and his embarrassment was almost too adorable to handle. “Looks like we have to wait until we’re in Arizona,” you said with a sympathetic swat to his arm.
Joaquin groaned, “You know, I’m starting to think Bucky’s secretly shipping us.”
You shot him a wink as you walked out of the kitchen, “He’s just really protective. Come on.”
You patted his arm sympathetically, but then, with a mischievous grin, said, “What about the attic?”
Joaquin raised an eyebrow. “You’re kidding.”
You opened your mouth to say yes, as your heart raced just by remembering his touch on your skin, but before you could, Bucky’s voice shouted from the other room.
“I swear to god, I will get a restraining order against the two of you! Don’t even think about it!”

Licensing is Fine (repost from patreon)
Tumblr media
Folks, It's happening. After 10 (11 now) years of the "This is Fine" meme taking over the world slowly, I have asked politely if now would be a good time to license the shit out of it. And the crowd shouted "YES!"
Tumblr media
Not only do we have this Brand New Talking Figurine coming out soon (designed by Grayson Evans, who is taking commissions right now) (the figure goes on sale 4/2 and is now available for preorder. It will also be available wherever books are sold), but I am also working with several other companies on buttons, pins, patches, calendars, and etc. Basically, the next time you go to Hot Topic or FYE and see all those patches and pins at the front, near the registers, you will most likely find some OFFICIAL This is Fine merch hanging out there too.
Tumblr media
We also have some specialty soft enamel pins coming out (or possibly already out) from Zen Monkey Studios featuring panel pins and cooler designs of Question Hound in both of his moods. I believe you will find these in the same physical places as the other pins Or you can order em online!
Plus a lot more we're still working on/waiting for. New shirts comin' at ya soon that you can find AT A MALL! I got an agent and he's doing his best routine of e-mailing folks on my behalf and asking if there's interest in "this is fine" and most of them say "sure!" so I guess there's some room for me after all.
All of this is to simply inform you, the public! Yes, there will always be bootleggers. But they don't matter in the long run. And Yes, I still have my Topatoco store of "This is Fine" merch as well. That won't go anywhere either. I'm just expanding my scope, cus this little dog is gettin' bigger than I ever expected to be in charge of. But don't fret, for my hand is GLUED to the wheel.

Okay than you for your time!!!!!!!!!!!!!

opening the door for them or pulling their seat out before they sit down with bob would be delightful!
Tumblr media
You had only been at the bar for ten minutes and already regretted all the decisions you made that led to this moment.
Why did you agree to a blind date?
First of all, it was with your friend's coworker. And no matter how much Natasha said it was fine, you couldn't help but be nervous.
You had heard stories of the squad Nat worked with, some good, some…not so good.
"It's not the Hangman guy, right?" You asked her when she first brought it up.
Nat pretended to gag, "You're my friend, not enemy. It's my WSO."
So there you were, awkwardly shifting in the chair at the bar as you looked towards the entrance for the sixth time, anxiety building up in your stomach and threatening to come out like bile any moment.
This was a horrible idea.
You tried dating, you really did. Various dating apps, going to different bars and strike up a conversation, but nothing seemed to work out. Sometimes you'd get ghosted, other times it would end with you curled up in a ball on your couch with a pint of ice cream while some stupid romantic comedy played in the background. You quickly learned that it didn't matter how great the first or second date went, folks will change their mind about you at the drop of a hat.
At least with Hinge or Tinder, you could see a picture of the person and speak before meeting them. With a blind date, you didn't have that, only the information your matchmaker had given you.
He went by Bob. He was a WSO. From the Midwest, specifically Montana ("Don't refer to his accent as Southern, he will go on a spield '' Nat warned you). Very sweet, but shy at first, which was why he supposedly had trouble finding someone.
He sounded nice. Potentially lovely. But you knew better by now, after years of failed attempts and broken hearts.
Sounding nice didn't guarantee anything.
You wondered what Nat had said about you. Probably that only your parents called you by your full name. That you and Nat met through college was also a given. She's had shit luck when it comes to finding someone, hopefully you can change that?
You checked your phone for the upteemth time. 7:12. He was supposed to be here twelve minutes ago. Surely he wouldn't stand you up, considering he had to work with Nat the next day?
The idea was surprising, but not shocking. Despite the intention of dating, some folks were quite careless when it came to a heart that wasn't theirs. You had been on that receiving end more times than you'd like to admit.
He probably thought the idea of going on a date with his coworker's friend was too risky, too weird. Perhaps he looked you up on social media and found an aspect of you that he didn't like. Thanks to numerous assholes, you could list off several potential reasons. Not pretty enough, not interesting enough, not affectionate enough, too affectionate, too clingy-
The list could go on and on. Thankfully it didn't. Thankfully, the sound of your name, said by a soft voice broke you out of your thoughts and made you turn around.
Oh.
He reminded you of the male love interests from those Old Hollywood films you watched with your grandmother as a small child. Sandy brown hair that was tousled in waves, piercing blue eyes that stood out against his sharp nose and rosy cheeks.
But above all, he looked kind. Truly kind. Maybe it was the lopsided, assuring grin or the way his cobalt eyes shone against the soft lighting of the restaurant.
"Bob?"
His thin lips formed into a saccharine smile as he stepped forward, extending a long arm out.
Holy shit, he brought you flowers.
You couldn't help but stare, wide-eyed and open mouth at the beautiful marigolds and orange sunflowers. You didn't know people still did that-no date had ever done so for you.
"I-I'm so sorry for bein' late. I swear, I'm always on time, I just wasn't sure which flowers to get ya. I-I mean, I knew you liked sunflowers, Phoenix told me that but I wasn't sure if yellow was overdone or if I should do something different and I'm really sorry-"
"You're perfect," your eyes widened at your own words, "The flowers I mean! The flowers are perfect and beautiful and traffic happens, it's okay!"
His smile widened at your reassurance and you swore it melted your heart. Heat rose to your face as you accepted the bouquet, your fingers brushing against his.
The two of you walked to your table. When Bob pulled out your seat for you, your heart fluttered.
There was no way this guy could be real. Why was he single?
Often, the conversation on a first date was awkward and full of long pauses.
Not this one. Not with Bob.
He asked you questions about yourself. Hell, he even asked follow up questions. And they were thoughtful.
Bob felt the same way.
Yes, he found you stunning. But you were much more than that. You were insightful, passionate, kind.
Why on Earth were you single?
Bob was determined to make everyone else's loss his gain.
"Would you want to go get ice cream?" His fingers were tapping the table, a nervous habit that you found adorable, "I mean, I get it if you're tired but if you're not, I'd love to continue?"
A downright dopey smile overtook your face as you nodded enthusiastically.
"I'd love to continue!"
You couldn't hide your surprise though when Bob all but jogged in order to hold the door for you.
"Oh, thank you! But you don't have to do that," you explained. His brows knitted together in confusion, the corners of his lips slightly downturned.
How could one man be so cute?
"Do what?" He asked, confusion all over his voice.
"Oh, um, holding the door?" Was it wrong to have brought that up? Oh God, was he going to think of you as rude?
Instead Bob smiled as he shook his head, "Nonsense. You should never have to hold the door."
Oh no. You were going to be down bad.
As the night went on, your nerves disappeared, giving Bob a sweet smile when he held the door open or pulled out your chair.
You didn't say anything when he held the car door open to drive you home, just that smile that made his heart flutter.
But when he opened the car door after arriving at your home, you stood instead of walking forward.
"I....I had a really good time tonight," the nerves came swelling back. You couldn't recall the last time you had clicked with someone so quickly.
"I did too," his smile warmed your body, "Maybe...if you'd like, we could-"
"Do this again?" God, you really hoped that's what he was going to say. You didn't think your heart could handle it otherwise.
"Yeah," he let out a nervous chuckle, "I'd love to do this again."
Your heart soared. Nat now had rights to the biggest "I told you so" but you couldn't find it in yourself to care at this moment.
"I'm not doing anything this Friday," containing your excitement was difficult. You were positive that big, dopey grin was plastered on your face right now.
Bob loved it.
"I'm not either." That was kinda a lie. Fridays were usually when his squad went out to the Hard Deck to celebrate the end of the week.
But Nat wouldn't mind and that was all that mattered.
You two exchanged phone numbers, hands clumsily typing as you both tried to sneak glances at one another.
Once your respective phones were back in your hand, it seemed like the front door was calling your name.
Not that you wanted to leave.
Offering him coffee at this hour would be silly, no one did that anymore.
"Can I walk you to the door?" His voice was timid, unsure.
"Please." It came out abruptly, as though you had lost control of your mouth, "I mean, yes. I would like that."
When Bob offered his arm, you accepted, linking yours with his.
"This is my stop," you motioned to the front door, earning a chuckle from Bob. God, he was so handsome. And his hands were so large. What would it be like to hold them?
"I had a really good time tonight. Probably the best date I've had in...a while." The dusting of pink that spread across his cheeks was downright darling.
"Could I-"
"If you don't kiss me, I might explode."
Normally you weren't one to be so bold. But the ache inside you was threatening to burst at the seams.
"Oh thank God," was all Bob could get out before pressing his lips to yours.

Everyone’s sick of the two lovebirds at camp putting off an inevitable confession. Some of the members have their own way of pushing you two together, though.
arthur morgan x gn!reader, drabble, 700+ wc, fluff, arthur and reader are oblivious fools pining for one another, gift giving, brief mention of drinking, set in horseshoe overlook, characters involved: javier, mary-beth, and lenny
note: would’ve finished this like four days ago if it weren’t for fucking finals LMAOO but i’m done 😌 comments/reblogs are always appreciated <3

Everyone could see it. Even Kieran, who has only been around for a few weeks, could see it. Hell, a Pinkerton could show up and figure it out in the matter of minutes.
Nobody could force a confession, but there were ways they could influence one.
The metal vibrations of the acoustic guitar combined with the Spanish language was a powerful force in the world of romance. Javier truly was the heart of nightly camp gatherings. And there was always a silent consensus to leave space for you and Arthur to sit right next to one another in the space surrounding the main campfire.
“Hasta un gorrioncito amoroso la oyó y dijo, ‘mi bonita, te quiero mucho yo.’ Hasta un gorrioncito amoroso…”
It was the subtlest of gestures that sent sparks flying in the air. Knees pressed up against one another, not daring to move from the other. Shoulders occasionally bumping into each other when you swayed to the sound of the music. Shy glances at one another whenever a joke was made, just to see if the other smiled/laughed or not.
There were so many people around, but it always felt like it was just the two of you in a small bubble trying so hard to act normal.
Mary-Beth, ever the romantic, also had her own tricks up her sleeve. Sometimes whenever Arthur walked by while she was with Tilly or Karen, she switched the topic and began talking about things you liked, small hints for him to know just what to pick up during his journeys to bring back to you.
It worked like a charm. Every. Single. Time.
“Got somethin’ for ya,” he murmured as he reached into his satchel, his palms sweaty with nerves underneath his well-used riding gloves. “I know ya didn’t ask, but, well…just thought you’d be sick of Pearson’s cooking and could use somethin’ nice, so here. Would’ve taken you myself, but I know you’re a busy bee.”
He fished out a spoon and a tin cup, pulling back the lid and revealing none other than banana pudding—something sweet, a far cry from what you usually ate. And you knew no places served pudding in a tin cup of all things. Arthur must’ve gone out of his way to order it and then stuff it in so he could bring it back to you. Honestly, the display looked clumsy and the pudding was a little melted, but it was oh so endearing.
“That’s real sweet of you, Arthur. Thank you.”
After taking the cup and spoon into your hands, fingers grazing his, you leaned in so you could press a kiss of appreciation against his cheek. Lord almighty, his knees nearly buckled, and it felt like all his blood rushed to that lucky patch of skin. He looked like a puppy, all wide-eyed before he regained his composure, nodding in response as he tipped his hat down to hide the upturn of his lips.
“I hope ya like it.” And like me, he thought to himself.
Was it normal for a thirty-six year old man to act like this? As far as he knew, everyone else at camp made it abundantly clear if they were sweet on someone. Sean flirted with Karen the instant he was brought back. And here Arthur was, trying and failing (miserably, in his mind) to express his feelings. Confessions weren’t his forte.
You asked him how his trip was while you started digging in. His crow's feet became more pronounced as he watched you eat—you were cute.
“Same ol’, same ol’. Headed up north towards the Grizzlies and lost track of time up there. Helped some folks out, too. It’s real pretty up there, quiet and peaceful. Reckon you’d like it.” A silent invitation lingered in the air, but he eventually decided to voice it. “...If you’re not too busy one of these days, maybe I could take–”
“I won’t be busy!”
“You sure 'bout that?"
“Yeah, I mean,” you shrugged, trying to act casual after your abrupt answer. “I’ve gotten enough done to get Miss Grimshaw and Dutch off my back for a while and I could use a change of scenery.”
Plus, you missed him. He was rarely around these days, one-on-one time with him was hard to get.
A certain pair of ears had overheard the entire thing. And boy, was he ready to tease.
People didn’t usually remember much on the nights they got shit-face drunk. A brief conversation stuck to Lenny like a second skin, though. Specifically, the part where he asked why Arthur wasn’t married.
“‘No one would have me’ my ass.” Lenny muttered with a grin as Arthur eventually walked by.
“What?”
“Nothin’, Arthur.”

Just thinking about king Toji and farmer girl reader. 💭(fan art not mine)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
You, a simple farmer's daughter, who was worried for the dying crops, the few water and the little money exchange for freedin' the rich folk as your small village on the outskirts of the kingdom, began to starve.
You, who despite being told no, refuse to just stand by and watch everything you know die. You left to attend court with the king, where he hears out his subjects once a year. You were determined to make sure he listened to you. The journey was long and tedious, but once you could see the dark castle ahead all the trouble was worth it all.
King Toji, couldn't care less, as he listened to the nobles whine that they deserved more than they got and what little presents with actual problems. Toji closed his eyes as he leaned his cheek onto his knuckles as the announcer asked for the next person to come forth
"Umm... M-my king?" A soft almost shy voice called for his precious attention. Sighing, Toji opend his green eyes and gulped, sitting straight in his throne as he saw you, oh you sweet thing, timidly swifting your weight from one foot to the other as you look any where but him. What fun you were going to be. Toji smirk and addressed you "what can I do for ya?" His smirk grow bigger as he saw you squirm under his glaze. "I come on behalf of my village, sir. " you looked up at the king through your eyelashes unknowingly making his cock jerk. "go on." Toji said, though he barely paid any thought to listening as he took you in, you wear a short peasant dress that showed off you thighs and legs, it stop short of mid-thigh. "My king? " you asked bring him back to the present.
"I'll help ya...but you'll have to do a little favor for me."
"Anything!"
Toji grinned wickedly,
He's got you now little farmer.

Hiiii! Could I request a oneshot where Husk reunites with a gn! S/o he had back when he was alive? The reader decides to stay at the Hazbin Hotel as a way of staying protected from the rest of the sinners and overlords in hell. After Charlie introduces them to everyone, they stop at the bar for a shot and they recognize eachothers voices.
(It can be fluff or angst)

Husk x Gn! Reader | Quitting |
Tumblr media
Warnings ️: Drinking, Alcohol Abuse, Cussing
(Y/n) is a mess. Just a plain mess. That’s what everyone though at least. Just a drunk weaving in and out of the next bar, blurring the lines between today and tomorrow, reality and fiction.
Groggily they drag their feet along the pavement, tired eyes desperately searching for a cheap enough bar that will still take them in. So far, no luck has been found. Most of the bars are either too expensive for someone who already blew everything they had on alcohol, or already know who they are and refuse to let them into their establishment.
And don’t even think about a place to stay. (Y/n) hasn’t been able to afford rent in years, not even a cheap motel to stay at. It’d be a blessing if somewhere that was a free stay just popped out right infront of them and just offered a place-
“HELLO!!”
“AH! WHAT THE HELL?” (Y/n) said, scowling at the cheerful face infront of them. It was Lucifer’s daughter, Charlie Morningstar. “Listen kid, don’t you know not to sneak up on folks!”
“Ah! I am so sorry!!” Charlie said, tucking her papers with drawings of rainbows made with crayon under her arm as she grabbed (Y/n)‘s hands.
“I’m here to make you an offer!” She said, smiling once more. Her cheerful demeanor was very different from (Y/n)’s deadpan expression.
“Listen kid, I don’t got much money. I find some here and there and then I blow it on booze, if you need investments, why don’t ya go to an Overlord or something, I ain’t got time for all of this.”
“Oh I don’t need any money!” Charlie said,”I need you! I’m working on a project to help rehabilitate sinners!! Help them go to Heaven!! And I’d like you to participate!”
“Why would I do that?” (Y/n) said, raising an eyebrow. “Shouldn’t you start off on an easier case or something, I just don’t think that’s a good idea-“
“You can stay there for free!-”
“Alright lets go.” (Y/n) said, taking their hands out of Charlie’s grasp before she started to crush them in a hug.
“YAY!!! ANOTHER GUEST AT THE HOTEL!!!” She squealed, making the drunk’s head throb at the loud noise.
“Alright, alright, that’s enough Princess. Lets go to this ‘hotel’ of yours.”
——————
Charlie kicked open the doors to the Hazbin Hotel, skipping in alongside (practically dragging along) the newest guest, (Y/n).
“EVERYONE!!!!” Charlie shouted,”EMERGENCY MEETING!! WE HAVE A NEW GUEST!!”
(Y/n) covered their ears, their eyes squinting in annoyance at the Princess’s very loud entrance.
Mostly everyone slowly made their way to the lobby, Vaggie being the first to enter.
“Hey. I’m Vaggie. I’m Charlie’s girlfriend. If anyone here gives you trouble, let me know, I’ll handle them.”. For someone so laid back and monotone, you really wouldn’t expect her partner to be the hyper princess who was literally jumping up and down.
(Y/n) and Vaggie conversed for a bit before Sir Pentious, Angel Dust, Alastor, and Nifty entered as well.
They all talked and got to know each other before in the corner of their eye, (Y/n) caught sight of a bar. A BAR!! They quickly excused themselves and hopped behind the counter, quickly mixing a drink.
“Excuse me, who are you and what are you doing behind my counter?” A deep voice said, instantly making (Y/n) freeze in their tracks.
“Husk?” They asked, turning around expecting a familiar face only to be met with a casio themed cat.
“(Y/n)? Is that really you?”
“Husk!!” They said, reaching over the counter to give him a hug, much like the one they were internally complaining about with Charlie earlier.
“It’s good to see you old friend. How’s Hell been treatin’ ya?”
“Shitty” They replied,”since I died, I’ve been a drunk and living off the streets for a few years. Well decades now. Oh well, I’m here now!”
Husk narrowed his eyes at her,”so you’re telling me that my old drinking buddy has been living off of these dangerous streets! Hell (Y/n), I’m glad that Charlie found you. Now, move away from the counter, let me make you a drink to commemorate you quitting drinking.”
“No fair!” (Y/n) said, plopping down on the bar stool,”quitting? We all know that’s impossible. I was a drunk when I was alive, I’m a drunk now that I’m dead-“
“And you’ll become sober when you go to Heaven. I….I really care for you (Y/n), you shouldn’t stay in this shithole. Go up to those pearly gates. For me please?” He said, sliding them their favorite drink.
“Sure Husk, I’ll do it for you. But if I do it, you gotta promise to come with me right after okay? No more gambling.”
Husk sighed, closing his tired eyes,”Fine. I’ll do it for you. You better be glad though (Y/n), I wouldn’t do this for nobody except you.”
They smiled, looking into Husk’s eyes as he smiled back. They both knew that they were gonna keep their promises.

A night out at the circus? That was a strange offer by your friends, but you went along. Maybe years have passed by ever since you’ve been to the circus. You wondered if it was like you remembered. Your memory was vague about it, but when you and your friends parked the car, you saw the giant red tent. It was dark, but lights were shining on the red fabric from afar. A red carpet led the way to the entrance. The smell of popcorn and beer filled the space as you got closer. You and your friends were laughing about how silly it was all going to be, holding beers in your hands.
“Hey kids! Get inside quick!” a clown passed before you, shouted in a goofy voice, and squeezed his red big nose.
You threw the empty beer, got a new one, and went quickly inside. Getting inside was a sight to behold. The interior felt bigger than what you imagined from the outside. You and your friends found your places and sat down. The lights turned off and only spotlights lit the ring.
“Howdy folks! Are you ready for the show?” A clown shouted to the crowd as he was holding a comical big microphone.
“YES!” the crowd responded.
“Are you really ready? Let me hear it” The clown looked toward you and pointed, or at least it felt like it.
“YES!” the crowd shouted again.
The show was wild and funny. The clown's customs were colorful and silly. Each one had his own thing and color. One had fuzzy huge purple hair. One had huge shoes he could barely walk in. Another had a nose that covered almost half of his face. But there was one you would never forget his appearance. His face was painted all white, with a red smiley mark covering the lower part of his face, and red curls that looked like red springs, trying to bounce out of his head.
You had so much fun, that you barely noticed the pressure to pee building inside of you from those two giant cups of beer. You didn’t want to leave for the bathroom, the show was so entertaining, so you held it as much as you could. Eventually, you stood up and walked to the outside to find the toilets.
“You! The guy who’s walking outside! STOP!” you heard from the speaker, and the lights hit you.
You turned around and saw the curly clown was pointing at you. The lights washed all over you. You pointed at yourself questionably.
“Yes you! Where are you going? We are in the middle of the show!” he asked, intending to get the crowd interested in the moment.
“I’m going to the bathroom.” you naively answered.
“Can’t you hold it to the rest of the show? You are such a baby! Isn’t he a baby people?” the clown asked the crowd, making them clap and cheer.
You turned red from embarrassment, gave him your back, and went outside. You had to pee so bad, you didn’t have time to think about what happened, not just yet. The toilets were around the tent, a bit far from the entrance. Next to it, there were the wheeled caravans of the circus crew. You could hear the crowd inside cheering and the faded voices of the clowns.
“Hey there kid, how’s it going? Have you found the bathroom yet?” said the clown with the curly hair.
He must have finished his act and went outside. He was smoking a cigar and the smoke moved around him in the light breeze. He looked at you, without the act from the show.
“No, not yet” you answered.
“It’s not polite what you did back there, only babies can’t hold and wait. You must be a baby. But you are funny, at least I can look at you and see you have The funny in ya. Ever thought about clowning? Do you want to clown around with us?” he asked as you took a big drag from his cigar, putting his lips around it, making it visible for you to see.
“What? Me as a clown? Nah, I have to take a piss, excuse me,” you said and turned away.
“You are certainly not excused.” you heard him say.
A second later, a bag was covering your head and it felt like two strong guys were holding you and dragging you somewhere. You heard a door slamming open and then closing. You don’t know how, but suddenly you were knocked out of consciousness. Sometime later, that could be moments, that could be minutes, you gained your consciousness back. You heard the crowd cheering very closely. Lights were shining into the cotton bag your head was in. You were wearing something else, something that wasn’t your clothes. You felt like you were sitting on something very thick and puffy, which seemed like between your legs as well. Maybe you wore it you thought.
“We have a surprise for you good folks! Do you remember the baby who couldn’t hold it before? Well, I’m glad to tell you that he is a baby! Our new baby clown! Give it up for the biggest baby of them all!”
Someone grabbed your shoulders, squeezed them, and pressed his head to the bag, and whispered.
“This is your birthday baby clown, the crowd is cheering for the new baby, make us proud!”
The bag was lifted from your head. You looked around, shocked. You sat in the center of the ring, in front of the cheering and going wild crowd. The lights were blinding but you could see you were wearing a comically massive white diaper and big red clown shoes. A bib with the words “big baby” was strapped around you by the purple-haired clown. A bonnet hat was strapped around your head by the clown with a big nose. You felt like crying from the humiliation.
“Awwww is baby gonna cry?” the curly clown asked, now not so serious like he was outside, but goofy and cheerful.
He took some kind of blue makeup marker and drew tears on your cheeks.
“Give it up for our crybaby people!” he made the crowd cheer even more.
He took a rolled-up carpet and unrolled it in front of you. It was a childish carpet like you see in nurseries.
“Crawl around for us baby! Let everyone see your wet diaper you needed!” gesturing you onto the carpet.
From the excitement and the commotion, you didn’t even notice you were peeing in your new diaper. Somehow the massive diaper became yellow on the front as you peed. You looked at the wet and yellow diaper, at the carpet, and the gesturing clown, and the cheering crowd.
“Always, such, a whiny, baby. Folks our baby always wants us to pick him up! But he can crawl, I tell you he can! Cheer for him, tell him to crawl!” the clown thrilled the crowd.
“Crawl! Crawl! Crawl!”
They were cheering for you. They were cheering for the baby clown. You were it, you were the show now, give it to them. Crawl to the carpet. Crawl to the spotlight baby.

My conversation with @itsclowntime about clowning got me really inspired to write this short story. If you like clowning or being naughty thinking about it, check out his page. A side note - I used AI to visualize the story. I hope it adds to your imagination.

4 Years of Hope
Hi there! We're 4 Years of Hope, aiming to bring you a mission of creativity, community and a little light in the darkness throughout whatever the next 4 years brings you. We know things are looking to be hard for a lot of folks right now, and we want to help a little in our own small, creative ways.
What will we be doing?
Each year, we'll be publishing an eZine featuring writing and art from around the globe in this wonderful writing community we've forged, aiming to help folks out there appreciate the joy of creativity. Each project will have a different theme specifically relating to hope. There will also be voluntary donations towards a charity supporting causes close to our heart in these difficult times.
Who are we?
We're run by a small team of community artists, just hoping to make a little bit of a difference.
Via is an author, theatre maker and workshop leader who supports folks to be the most creative version of themselves. They aim to inspire, empower and enfranchise through their work, and love to explore challenging and educational themes. They love cats, and if they could be any kitchen implement they would be a spatula.
Alex is a Canadian artist, musician, and YA author. When they’re not at the keyboard, you can find them hosting tabletop game night, working on illustrations, or at their other keyboard composing music. Their life’s work is to connect with queer youth who feel as lost and hopeless as they once did and provide a little bit of hope for the future, be that through writing, music, or comedy.
Em is a poet, parent, and artist specializing in sculptures. She loves to see what beauty comes from creativity and community and has a non-trivial obsession with turtles.
What's next?
We're still getting things set up on our end, but please keep an eye out over the next few weeks for announcements about our first Zine theme, and our first charity!

Can we get a zombie horde with a gn! Reader where their abusive family finds them again?
after years of inactivity im fucking back ! sorry for the long long wait but at least im able to put out a few more fics !
Zombie Horde!Reader's Abusive Family Finds Them Again
CW: verbal abuse, abusive family, (mentioned) being rejected food
💀 You haven't always been alone in your travels, in fact, you were with your family when the outbreak happened. But to be fair, you never liked your family..
💀 They would always bully you, boss you around, even put the blame on you whenever something bad happened, the torment didn't end even when there were zombies banging on your doors!
💀 In fact, because of the virus, they got even more cruel to you.
💀 They would take away your food rations for any small mistake you did, make you take the night watch for days on end, even send you out to get supplies just because 'you talked back that one time'!
💀 You couldn't take it anymore and left, knowing anywhere would be better than being stuck in a house of people who did nothing but torture you.
💀 You thought you were safe from them, cuddled up with Ribs in your bed as the others wandered around the abandoned mall, but it all came back when you heard a familiar voice shout out your name from the distance..
💀 "(Y/N)?! I know you're here you runt!"
💀 It was your dad...
💀 Ribs sat up as soon as he heard it and snarled, crawling out of bed and going out to see the commotion.
💀 Your heart raced as you followed him, but it was hard to walk with your body trembling at the thought of seeing him or any of your family again.
💀 "Jesus there's four of them!" "What are you waiting for you stupid bitch?! Shoot em!"
💀 It seems your mom was also there..
💀 You run the broken escalator and see the horde fighting with your family, gunshots ring throughout the mall as you see your beloveds blasted with bullets.
💀 You weren't scared though, they were dead after all, but it was still heartbreaking seeing them get hurt.
💀 You pick up a nearby rock and throw it at your dad to get his attention away from the boys. They all look at you, your family glaring at you while the horde coos at your presence.
💀 "(Y/N) you come here right this fucking second we're coming home!" Your mother shouts at you, walking over angrily and grabbing your arm strong enough to leave a red ring.
💀 Bo fumes and pulls her of you "You stay away from my mate ya hear me?!" he growls.
💀 "It talks?!" She yelps as your dad comes over as well. "Mate? Don't tell me you're hangin out with these monsters! Are you that much of a dumbass?!" he scolds you.
💀 You shrink, knowing whatever you say will make things worse..
💀 "Why you little whore.." Your dad growls, about to slap you, but Screw runs over and pushes your dad away, sending him back a few feet.
💀 Ribs and Soda smile and clap as Bo and Screw help you up.
💀 "You ok darlin?" Bo asks you in a sweet tone. "Is your arm ok? Does is hurt? Do you need a bandaid? I have a pink one with a cat on it.." Screw looks at the mark your mother gave you.
💀 You smile and assure them everything's ok.
💀 "Fucking freaks..(Y/N) do you hear me?! Get your ass up and let's go!" Your dad yells at you again as he stand up.
💀 "They're not going anywhere mean guy!" Ribs growls at him.
💀 Your mom is to the side next to Soda, she sneers at him and he looks back at her, giving her the middle finger, making her scoff and look away.
💀 In a shaky tone, you ask how they found you. You've cut off contact with them for months, there was no way they could find you..
💀 "Hah! Your dumbass thought you were just some person in the middle of nowhere? Half the state knows about your little talkin freak boyfriends!"
💀 You look down in shame as Bo and Screw comfort you "I think it's about time you folks leave..." Bo says, glaring at your parents.
💀 "Oh no you're not kicking us out! We came all this way to get this ungrateful little leech back! We gave them shelter and this is how they repay us?! You should've learned your place and stayed put!" he berates you. You finally snap and yell back at him, telling him all the things you've endured in their household, how you were treated like dirt every day, how you were much better off without them.
💀 Finally you firmly tell them to leave, pointing to the exit as you look at him with no fear left in your eyes. He scoffs "Fine..go get killed on your own then! Don't come to us for any fucking help!" he yells as he leaves, your mom in tow.
💀 Ribs laughs at them as they leave while Soda smiles at you.
💀 After the whole interaction, you were completely exhausted, the boys huddling up with you to calm you down.
💀 You give them all well-deserved kisses for protecting you, they all coo and chirp at the affection and kiss you back.
💀 "Do you still want that bandaid?" Screw asks you softly.
💀 You say yes.
this one was pretty short but expect more fics to be sent soon ! love you guys and remember that youre awesome and amazing !

It all started with Katsuki being dead-asleep and sprawled out and snoring in a way that most people would deem horrendously uncomfortable, and obnoxiously pleasant. Like an overgrown cat.
He was dead to the world until his phone rang. Biceps twitching and flinging awake in the dark Katsuki’s dark red eyes cut across the grey light of his room to catch into the stark blue phone light that was buzzing like crazy. Hands accidentally fumbling as he grabbed it he squinted with a surprised, “fuck.” Why were you calling him? You were 2 years his senior and the resident babysitter/tutor of his neighborhood back in Musutafu. A smart student and pretty girl: one of the only babysitters his parents ever agreed to come watch him. Mostly because your death glare was one that could really rival his own mothers, but also bc Katsuki harbored a little bit of admiration and a crush on you for some time making him actually behave for you.
And as your name flashes across the screen pressed against his cheek he can only remember sitting at the kitchen counters and sharing orange slices as you quiz him for his practical exams. He hasn’t seen you in years. Your voice flits through same as ever, “Hey Katsuki!” He shuffles and sits up closer. His eyebrows peaked — you sound breathy and stressed. “Hey to you too,” he growls. Another whisky giggle, “I know it’s late. I’m really sorry about that! It’s just — well your mother always tells me to call you if I was ever alone at night and I couldn’t think of who else I trust to call. . .” His damn mother did have a habit of telling resident kids to call him in case they were in dangerous situations. A habit she always kept up since he was a kid; always making him walk with you and the other girls when school clubs let out. And now here he was a fledgling hero and Mitsuki was still telling extras to call him — I guess some things never change. Katsuki could hear the faint music of karaoke bars over the phone. Already getting out of bed and rummaging through his drawers for a pair of sweats and hoodie. “S’ okay. Where’re you at right now?” You huff a little sigh, “I’m out at the bar strip on the west side of the city . . . it’s a little chilly.” Katsuki already has his feet in his slides and is heading out his dorm room, “I can hear your teeth chattering from here.” He huffs, “Now what’s the problem?” “I’m just a little nervous . . .” You admonish finally, “Could you just stay on the phone with me, please Katsuki? It’s really kinda sketchy out here.” He grunts, already stepping out the dormitory door and hitting the streets. “I can do that. How’ve ya been? It’s been awhile.” You huff a little laugh, “College is fine pretty mundane to what you’ve been doing. I’ve seen you on the tv and in the news a lot recently. I’m real proud of you Kit-Kat. Your folks are too.” Katsuki can feel his stupid heart leap at that nickname you gave him.
It’s because he used to give you kit-kats every year on white day — which wasn’t really out of the ordinary since you gave him chocolate on valentines, but you gave chocolates to all the neighborhood kids anyways. And despite his parents teasing and his agony you never seemed to think much of it, ruffled his hair and gave him a cute nickname.
He chest swells with pride nonetheless. A particular school event was coming up and he finds himself mentioning it as he spots your form sitting under the bus stop and shouts into the night instead of the phone. “I’ve got my year-three performance showcase coming up next week. If you wanna come watch I can definitely get you tickets next to my folks.” Your eyes go wide and flit over to his figure in the darkness. And the first thing Katsuki can’t help but think is that you look pretty.
Your arms are crossed over your chest and the black corset top you’re wearing. It makes your waist and broad shoulders pop. And as he gets closers he can see that it’s got the lace closures down the sides with cute little bows that you’ve tied. A pair of cream colored trousers and tall peep-toe heels underneath as you rise to greet him. Phone slack in your hand as you stare at him. The black straps of your top dangling over your smooth collarbone as you inhale, “Kats what are you doing here?” Your head of curled hair — he’s never seen you with curled hair before — tilts like a puppy dog. He shrugs hands in his pockets, “Coulda asked you the same.” He says pointedly, you curl in and flush with embarrassment, “How much have you had?” “Only a few. I’m still sober.” You reply with a shiver as you fall into step beside him, “Not as fun as I thought it was gonna be. My friends are still inside.” At this Katsuki feels himself relax he didn’t think this was really your seen anyway. Especially with those friends he knows you’re referring to: the older kids of the neighborhood. “Yeah the rest of them are real pieces of work, babe.” Babe. Did he just call you babe? Dunce face is rubbing off on him. You notice, glancing to look up at him, but he watches you shake your head a little and dismiss it as quickly. “So what’s this showcase that you mentioned Kit-Kat?” He huffs, taking the side closest to the street, “It’s a promotional showcase for 3rd years. Show the pros what we can do, explain our personal philosophy, our ambitions. It’s like a really big resume preview. It’s real important for getting yourself out there to the agencies although I already have good ties to some.” You nod, bumping elbows with him as you dodge a streetlight, “seems really important,” you muse. “I’d love to come if it’s no trouble?” Katsuki’s eyes are glued into your glossy lips while you say that, turning away with the tips of his ears pink as he grunts, “S’ no problem at all. I can get ya’ one tomorrow.” You hum thoughtfully, “it’ll be nice to see you in action up close. I’ve watched your sports festival showings before — it makes me want s’mores.” at this you giggle and lock eyes with him, “I let you do that one time.” Katsuki groans rolling his eyes. “Still the best ones I ever had!” He chuckles nudging you with his shoulder. You beam ear-to-ear and his heart pitters as you loop an arm through his to steady yourself, “I can’t believe we’re both so grown-up now.” And here you go turning sappy on him.
“You know Suki’ I know you’re gonna be a great hero because you’ve always done stuff like this for me. No matter how often others tell you different, you send them to me okay?” And you’re sniffling now, still shivering against his side as you prepare to fight off all the haters he has. He’s matured a lot since his debut, but they don’t say make a good-first impression for nothing. He glances at you intelligent, well-educated, passionate as you are you weren’t gonna put up much of a fight — he still appreciates the sentiment. He grumbles a “thank you” into your hair as he walks you home in the dead of night.

The place I’ve come to call “home”
Tumblr media
PAIRING: Eula x Male Reader (Romantic) (Fluff)
SUMMARY: (Y/N) is Eula’s childhood friend, and her future true love.
“WRONG! Dear friend should only be used to address those the speaker are acquainted with and not particularly close!“ an older man yelled, swatting at Eula’s hands with a wooden stick. “What do you say to someone you are close to?!” He slammed his fists on her desk, glaring into her eyes. She looked down, too scared to answer. “You either know this or not Eula!”
The final straw, and she began to cry an ocean of tears. The man huffed in annoyance. “Class dismissed.” He left the room, clicking his tongue in frustration.
Finally alone, Eula wiped away her tears, still shaking violently. A small tap on the window brought her back to reality. “Huh?” She questioned, beckoned forward by the small pebbles tip tapping the window. She opened the window, only for a pebble to bonk her on the nose. “Ow!”
“Shoot! Are ya okay up there princess? You’s shoulda known better than to make yerself a target!” An arrogant young boy said. Eula could feel her face growing hotter in anger. She climbed out the window and shoved the boy lightly.
“Hmph! (Y/N), For such an act of defiance, I shall have vengeance!” She said proudly. (Y/N) just laughed at her words, patting her on the head with a toothy grin.
“Ya say that, but you’re really just lookin’ for an excuse to see more of yours truly.” Eula huffed, placing her hands on her hips. “Lotsa huffing over there—ya a wolf or somethin’?” He teased.
This uncouth boy was none other than Eula’s one true friend. Her confidant, and someone who she could be herself with. A secret friendship hidden within the backyard of the Lawrence Clan. Whenever the noble life got too stressful, there he was. Waiting for her outside her window.
Sadly, like every day, their hangouts are cut short. Eula crawls back through the window and returns to her next lesson. Dancing practice began early in the day and ended late at night. Her feet sore, and her stomach growling loudly didn’t help ease her nerves. Add the cherry on top, her dinner contained disgusting overly flavored broth. She almost slept hungry that night.
This time, (Y/N) crawled through her window, a small box in hand. It was lights out, and nobody would hear the giggles of two kids eating sandwiches as they went back and forth with joyous banter.
“I have this one dance I really liked today though,” Eula reminisced her lesson with (Y/N), who yawned, eyelids fighting to stay open.
“Cool. Show me some moves! Or else I’ll hafta keep tellin’ folks that you’ve got two left feet.” He mumbled, head rocking back and forth. Eula blinked in confusion before standing up. She grabbed (Y/N) and guided him towards her bed tucking him in with herself.
“Good night (Y/N)…”
“…Good…night…princess,” they cuddled together and fell fast asleep. With (Y/N) almost drooling in his sleep, and Eula blushing in hers.
This was just one of many memories that Eula holds dear. And through the years, those continued interactions helped shaped her into who she was today: the Lawrence Clan’s worst nightmare. Older, she now refused to attend lessons, and even sought to openly interacting with “commoners”; if they had the patience to speak to her, that is.
And when she came to the decision of leaving her household for good, she asked him to come with her. “Oh geez. Ya always hafta pull at my heartstrings princess? How could I ever say no to such a cute face?” She pinched him on the arm, blushing from his constant teasing.
Since Eula was a Lawrence it mean’t no one would allow her to buy from their shops. Even (Y/N) was outcasted by association, but he didn’t care. Him and Eula had been together through thick and thin, and he never had much social standing to begin with. A small inconvenience like that didn’t bother him anyway. Eula resorted to hunting and cooking food over a campfire for the both of them.
Eventually others saw her capabilities, Jean the most, who recruited Eula to be a Knight of Favonius. Through sheer effort, she slowly began to gain a more positive reputation with the citizens of Mondstadt. It came at the cost of being labeled a traitor by her family, but it was a necessary sacrifice for a brighter future. One with him.
She invited him to meet on the mountain top further out of Mondstadt City. “Remember this place?” She asked him.
He scratched the back of his neck, looking for an answer. “Oh! We first met here! Right?” He answered enthusiastically, a dopey grin on his face. Eula frowned and crossed her arms, looking away angrily.
“Forgetting such a special date. I will—”
“Have vengeance right? So what place is this?” He cut her off, which led to her steaming even more. Coughing into her hand, she finally made eye contact with (Y/N).
A bright blush littered across her entire face. And her eyes held a soft gaze as she caressed his cheek. (Y/N) began blushing now, finally remembering what this place meant to her.
“This is where I confessed my love to you.” Guiding his hands to her hips, she placed hers on his shoulders, and began to dance with him. “Years ago I told you I had learned my new favorite dance: The Dance of Sacrifice. In some far away place it might’ve been the only thing to bring me comfort. But now, I have you.”
(Y/N) held a small smile, moving closer to Eula. They shared a kiss under the moonlight.
“Marry me.” She asked.
