One of Shadow Milk’s many prop replicas of himself, left behind. Even though the eyes are forever staring straight into the distance… Oddly enough, you still feel like you’re being watched.

But surely, though, it won’t hurt to take it home and touch up the colours, right? :)

okay, but, like, THAT'S how you do a villain story. in the FIRST scene, you watch him shoot a man in cold blood. the show tells you right away "this man is not a good man".

but then it gets you to sympathize - look at how much the world has stepped on him. look at how terrible the whole of gotham is. and even when he kills more people, does more terrible things, you still root for him. because it's fun to watch someone be terrible to terrible people. you root for sofia too, because if anyone deserves revenge its her, but you're rooting for both of them somehow.

and then the show tells you "when he was a boy he killed his brothers". but even still, you want to see what he'll do. the show is called the penguin, you want to see the penguin rise. when he lets his mother's finger almost get cut off, you pity him. he's a sad, broken thing. how could he be anything but bad? but he loves, so there must be something else there.

but then. but THEN

the show always told you: "this is the devil". but you thought, maybe the devil can make hell a little more bearable for some people. the devil is so often nuanced, sympathetic, complex. maybe he's like that.

you're wrong. there's nothing good within him and YOU rooted for him to succeed. you wanted to watch the destruction. and now you have to live with the consequences of thinking, even for a second, that he could be redeemed.

my art vs artist this year but it's also an art summary thing wahoo. i didn't use a template this time around, i just compiled stuff from each month. and also a selfie

genuinely thought about making this all vat7k related but it looked funnier to have two (2) things that weren't part of varian and the seven kingdoms lol

not much else to say currently… a lot happened this year (like that Stupid Kidney Rock) but there's lots of emotions to unpack and experiences to ponder in general and that's far too sentimental to get into here (yknow how it is)

i will say though i've been really enthusiastic about my art and the direction it's going. im finally growing and exploring. waugh

As for Zelda... I think she spent a lot of time being pressured by her father to get the best grades n nothing less, and then to get into a good college etc, leading to many nervous breakdowns and other. Issues.

By the time she's about 23 the relationship becomes less strained, there's less pressure from his side, and in any case it was fine, really, he just wanted a good future for her, really, so- Point is, she wants to keep a good relationship with her father despite All That. Link still fucking hates the guy tho If her dad is the only one getting burnt food at the new years party, it was an accident and no one can prove anything <3

Introducing, Pure Vanilla's Knight! :D Shadow Milk Cookie had to possess Pure Vanilla in order to take control of Wind Archer, due to him being an elemental cookie which is practically a god. He was also still pretty weak from his recent freedom. He took the time to defeat Wind Archer first, though he accidentally gave the guardian a couple of injures that he couldn’t heal without Millennial Tree Cookie. So they’ll be staying. Good thing Wind Archer can hit his targets even with the lack of depth perception!

That’s all the main character the au will be centered around, for now at least. I’ll answer any questions to the best of my ability!

The last couple were just messy doodles lol

There’s a sad tree dad somewhere and fire god waiting outside a forest for his favourite person to bother. He’ll be waiting for a while.
