ROMANTIC MOMENTS CAUGHT BY FANS WITH THE BLLK BOYS! 📸
PT 2.
🎥 synopsis: Your relationship with him is already established, but fans still can’t get enough of the two of you—always wanting more crumbs. Accidental meetups, funny moments and romantic scenes that get captured or posted by them online offer the world a chance to witness little glimpses of your dynamic with him.
🎞️ a/n: fem!reader, Heads up—Charles is included, his scenes are romantic BUT soft, strictly age-appropriate moments (think hand holding and shoulder rests) I tried my best to be mindful and keep it true to his age also reader is, of course, aged accordingly
🎬 characters: kunigami r., yukimiya k., bachira m., raichi j. and charles c.
Kunigami Rensuke—prince material
It was one of the last events of the year for athletes where multiple teams, media outlets, interviewers and influencers were invited to stream and enjoy the gala.
During the quick break before the awards ceremony could begin, a relatively known sports blogger started to live stream which gained a surprising number of views in a short time.
It was hard too see in the dim room, the only light source being some LED strips on the walls, and the huge chandelier that hang from above.
As the influencer was reviewing the drinks at the bar, some fans spotted the two of you in the background, tucked into the corner of the room.
Before anyone could assume anything, your boyfriend got down on one knee as you held onto his shoulders for support. Despite the low lighting, some hawk-eyed fans could clearly tell what was happening.
Wardrobe malfunction.
Your freaking heel broke. Or it could have been a problem with the straps but all they really focused on was how gently Kunigami tried to help you back into your heels.
Someone took a screenshot. You looked like a princess with your gown on, and your boyfriend—ever the chivalrous one—looked and knelt beside you like a true knight in shining armor.
You saw the pics a week later. He kissed your forehead and moved on. But the fans? They talked about it for a long time…
Yukimiya Kenyu—divas in the wild
Your boyfriend besides being a well-known football player also gained fame as a model to many brands—his face plastered all over the stores, subways, and malls.
The fans knew how private he was, only letting them get a small glimpse of you every now and then.
So imagine their surprise when one of them was strolling around the local mall before she spotted a familiar tall figure with someone shorter than him grocery shopping.
Walking by the vegetable section with your hoodies on, backs turned to the camera was a sight nothing out of the ordinary—that was until the fan zoomed in on what was printed on your clothes.
A selfie of you two: meme-worthy, double chin showing with his glasses lazily sliding down to the bridge of his nose and your hair looking like a tornado. The cherry on top was the word “DIVAS” printed across the sweaters’ backs in bold, pink letters.
The fan thought she was hallucinating for a moment, mumbling in the video about how Yukimiya’s fashion sense and PR team would never allow something like this. Still—your fits were lowkey a slay.
The clip ended there but it was enough. The fandom unanimously agreed on the fact that everyone needed a version of that unhinged anniversary hoodie you gave him last year.

Bachira Meguru—heart on his sleeve
Your boyfriend was a fan favorite. They adored how he always took the time to stop and chat with them—whether it was about the weather or something random like whether dolphins or bees were better.
He was also known for accepting gifts—especially bracelets.
Bachira absolutely loved them. Most of the time he was always caught in public with his wrists decorated with colorful, handmade pieces, each one a reminder of the fans who took some time out of their lives to make something for him.
It was the same kind of love that surrounded him just the other day, when the two of you went to a concert together. Fans swarmed the area around his seat, handing him letters, drawings, books—even a photo card of you that he gladly accepted with a bright smile.
It took him about 10 minutes to receive his first handful of bracelets—and, following the concert’s tradition, Bachira started to trade a few of his own with the fans.
“Where did you get that?” a girl asked, pointing to the beaded bracelet you gave him a few hours ago.
Before anyone could even think about exchanging, he was already showing it off. That bracelet? It even had your combined initials on it! He proudly told everyone how much effort you put into making it and how there was no way he’d ever give it up.
The fans melted on the spot. You two had a blast that night and he ended up trending on social media. Again.
4.8 million likes including @beebachira_megs
Raichi Jingo—fake nonchalant ahh
He rarely posted you on his socials—partly for privacy, partly out of pure pettiness.
Perhaps that’s why you decided to surprise him in secret at the airport, squished in between many, many of his fans.
He had just landed from the final match of the season—victory shining on his team of course. The airport was packed, fans swarming the place as the boys strolled in wearing hoodies, headphones, and masks. People screamed, holding out merch or whatever they could find for autographs.
You spotted him minutes later. Hoodie pulled low, mask up, his eyes quickly scanning the crowd while signing simultaneously.
That’s when you decided to step in.
Fighting your way through the fans, as he came closer to your row, you held out your phone for him to sign. Raising an eyebrow, he looked up to meet your eyes, surprised at your sudden presence.
Silence followed. And then—he burst out laughing, voice echoing through the international airport.
Wiping his tears away, Raichi reached out to cup your face, kissing you through his mask.
Fans gasped, about to freak out with their phones in their hands before he wrapped an arm around your waist and pulled you through the barrier.
“She’s my girlfriend guys!”
Charles Chevalier—chilling with you
The final match of the season had just ended, and with it, the fans slowly poured out of the stadium into the night. While most of them were heading home, some chose to linger, taking in a bit more of the buzzing city before calling it a day.
That’s how a group of PXG fans spotted their favorite team in a nearby diner as they celebrated the victory.
Not wanting to interrupt, they quietly took seats on the opposite end of the diner, ordering food and pulling out their phones for a quick video.
Most of them zoomed in on Julian. The other half was focused on capturing your boyfriend, the other star of the match.
He was surprisingly quiet. People would think he would be the life of the celebration by now yet all he did was have his hoodie up and occasionally smile at the others’ jokes.
Charles was definitely tired with the way he yawned halfway through sipping his soda.
Head on your shoulders, he quietly intertwined your fingers under the table, fidgeting with one of your rings while using his other hand to casually wave at the fans across the room, a small smirk forming on his lips before turning his attention back to you.

While i loathe fandom discourse (more accurately vitriolic fandom drama) i don't mind differing opinions and takes (even ones i don't like)
Different opinions and different ideas make fandom grow, being inspired by and cherry picking from both each other and the media is the foundation of fandom. Someone putting a new spin on something someone else did or something they saw is just part of how creativity goes. One's ick is another yum and someone can hate certain ingredients on their own but love what comes when someone cooks. Chances are someone made something that you liked and that was initially or partially inspired by something you might not have liked on its own.
Drama and vitriolic discourse though? Wretched. Makes everyone tired, doesn't add anything as it's usually not an exchange of ideas (usually it's tearing down ideas so there's a genuine loss), bashes others (people get driven away and if that discourse is a trend it will deaden a fandom), and tends to curb creativity (from mental and emotional drain but also those that might have still been cooking with ideas feel discouraged at the idea of sharing anything at all for fear of people possibly lashing out).
Using main tags to hate and vent is also annoying (though not as soul rotting) cause it usually means they end up summoning the fans who were just trying to vibe and now there's a new tar pit arena
Like that type of fandom drama just feels like witnessing people dig tar pit arenas to brawl in, like stop it. We're here to play pretend in the same sandbox with our communal toys from Media, why are you throwing hands with actual people just cause they made their version of Blorbo and Bingus kiss? Doing wretched displays of wasted energy, wasted time and wasted oxygen.
Don't like a take or blog? Then block them.
Don't agree/can't agree with og blogger but Want to make your own version or want to edit and tweak it into a new idea or just want to expand on the contrasting idea? Make a new post. You can credit and reference the post with a link if needed and move on.
-this post was brought to you because i remembered some dumb discourse from like 2023 that lasted for two weeks and i couldn't go through tags and my feed in peace for days cause people kept main tagging both it and their separate posts would reference it. It was so egregious and so many people kept adding to it that i still remember it and get annoyed at main tag vent posts cause of it. People are allowed to dislike stuff yes but main tag hating just means you summon fans and everyone is upset because someone's trying to vent but everyone else was trying to look at their favorite tag in peace . It's like hating cheese and then going to the dairy cheese section because you think you need to be in the cheese section when you rant about your cheese hate. Everyone's unhappy because the person who went to main tag is gonna see people enjoying the thing they don't like and the people who want to just go through their tags are being yelled at for no reason.
#fiden rants#fandom etiquette#Also if you see a tagless vent post about a character and disagree with it just block as needed and leave it alone#they are allowed to dislike things so don't dig up fights where there are none

Debunking fandom rumors: Erin and Jensen
It has come to my attention that someone is creating multiple accounts and posing as ITK while claiming that Erin and Jensen have hooked up or have a love story. It seems some bloggers and users actually adopted this person's narrative without digging deeper and asking for evidence. My reason for this post is I have received asks and dms from people actually falling for these rumors and the stories behind them make absolutely no sense and there is zero evidence. I have also received warnings from the people who have, thankfully, not fallen for them and had things to share about the person responsible. There is a huge difference between speculating about your fav celeb and full on gaslighting people with made-up stories.
The story seems to vary a bit from person to person as it gets passed down by the people who have been misinformed. The web is so spun some have adopted these claims as truth. Let's debunk a few of those versions. Please note that I don't know them by heart and so they aren't super precise but the claim behind them is the same:
You may have heard that Erin posted about Austin and then deleted the post. - An actress going to Austin could be about an infinite number of events, from art to auditions to modeling etc. There is absolutely nothing out of the ordinary there because Austin is bustling with entertainment industry opportunities. Jensen was in the process of moving to Connecticut, moving involves preparing everything not just the actual move. If someone keeps insisting Erin was there for Jensen then please ask them for clear evidence and you will soon find there is none.
You may have been told that some woman who worked on set for the Boys caught Erin and Jensen in the act. - First off, Erin and Jensen barely intersected each other on set. Secondly, on-set crew signs NDAs. Thirdly, no professional actor would risk getting fired over flirting or anything related, that's a super fast way to get fired. A set is a professional environment. Most of all, people who are a part of the crew don't have so much access to the stars. They may get to interact and be around them when doing make-up, costume and other set-related situations but actors have their own designated areas and security is tight. Aside from this, rumors on a set travel at lightning speed and yet no such rumors about the cast ever surfaced. I can also add the fact that actors are trained to create chemistry and so they use various exercises to achieve this. Often, people end up believing they are in love precisely due to the powerful chemistry those exercises generate. Don't believe me? Cool, have a look here.
Some friend of a friend saw Erin in Jensen's lap in some social media post. All that was visible was the beard. 🤣🤦🏼♀- The beard belonged to Jai Courtney. No Jensen was involved.

Erin and Jensen got matching tattoos - In reality, Jai tattooed Erin's ankle, which had zero to do with Jensen. Here's a pic:

These are just a few examples, in some cases, the person sharing these rumors claims to be Jensen's hookup and that Jensen confided to her that he is involved with Erin. The person responsible for sharing these stories has multiple sock accounts and is posing as multiple people. The person has even resorted to stealing someone's online pictures to pose as that friend so as to differentiate one of her sock accounts from her original one.
Aside from this, this person has also taken to SM to harass the actors in their comment sections, in an attempt to make it seem as if the rumors have taken off. They have not.
Neither Jensen nor Danneel nor Erin deserved to be harassed over made-up stories. To avoid doxxing anyone involved, I have made this a general post to bring you awareness and give the person responsible a chance to reassess their actions and do the right thing. As mentioned in my disclaimer, I want to strongly remind everyone that anything you read online or on my blog or any other blog should be taken with a huge grain of salt. Just as when people contact you claiming they are Misha, Jensen etc. ask them for evidence and once they fail to provide it report and block. If someone contacts you to share gossip, stay grounded, ask questions, ask for supporting evidence and details, and make your own decision rather than adopting someone's idea of the truth. It's one thing to entertain a rumor and quite another to harass real-life people over adopting these rumors as truth. Gossip can be fun and entertaining but it should never, ever cross the line into slander, impersonation and other violations. Let's keep in mind that there are teenagers with naive perspectives, fans who suffer from erotomania or other mental disorders or people who simply lack information who might all fall victim to these machinations and suffer consequences. We all play a part in keeping fandom safe so let's exercise caution. Please stay safe online and help others do the same. I am feeling kinda tired so I apologize for not being able to compose this post as clearly as I wanted, feel free to DM me if anything is unclear.

BPP Hiiiii. I was reading the comments of a reaction video and saw this comment from a non-shipper. It reminded me of your post abt the types of people in the fandom n how they react to jikook. I think this commenter is a Type 2. It made me feel a better that armys see jikook as close friends and notice how they click. But some Vmin shippers saw the comment and started flooding it with how it's actually Vmin that are closer. 😅 It's like Type 3 rival shippers are really the worst huh.
**
(@tanniephile, I go on a bit of a tangent and ramble in this one)
Hi @tanniephile!
The comment you posted doesn't seem complete, but it does give the general idea that the commenter thinks jikook "click" and that jikook have a close friendship. And yeah, with nothing else to go on, it seems OP fits into Type 2.
I think like that commenter, a lot of ARMYs are actually cool with jikook. Most of the angst around any of the pairs in BTS is driven by the shippers rather than anything the pair does or is, and that's exactly what happened here. OP said nothing we don't already know: Jimin and Jungkook are close and their families are close too, but that was apparently enough for Vmin shippers to feel put on the defensive, spamming the comments section to highlight their ship. This is one reason I've said before that the sordid reputation shippers have is well earned. Too many of y'all are loony.
Like whatever the fuck happened yesterday with that taekook picture their poor friend had to delete right quick because taekookers were posting NSFW taekook fanart under it, while acting a fool in jikook shipping spaces at the same time. Who knew one picture could energize thousands of taekookers to multitask so efficiently? I saw a few jikook bloggers try to deal with that mess, and regardless of my dislike of shippers in general, I have to give the jikook bloggers who at least tried to act like thinking decent people their full kudos. Y'all are better than me cause I just kept deleting that insanity.
One thing that annoys me about jikook vs taekook shipping discourse, is that a sizable chunk of disturbed individuals have turned it into sport. The real game is not about anything jikook or taekook are actually doing. Instead the majority of people shipping taekook are playing a game that is all about one upping jikookers, using primarily Jimin as the game piece. Even Taekook themselves are only side pieces on the game board. Jimin is the person taekookers actually care about and they use 'wins' against Jikookers as proxy to keep score. Most jikook shippers appear to be more self-aware, but you'd be lying to yourselves if you didn't admit there's a growing faction who are drawn more into playing that game alongside taekookers, than actually enjoying or keeping up with Jimin and Jungkook.
Because there is no reason on god's green earth why one picture of taekook (unconfirmed) bowling with their friends, should cause anybody to care.
When I saw the volume of asks I was getting yesterday, I thought something more must have happened. I thought to myself how I would've felt if jikook was spotted bowling instead (jikook have done this too before btw), and my feeling would've been the same - I'd note it as just another random outing we've been made privy to and leave it at that. I wouldn't think of it as a date or proof of romantic attachment, the thought of taekookers would not even cross my mind until when they would inevitably become abusive towards Jimin and Jungkook on all online platforms. Like, honestly, I get why jikookers feel compelled to respond to this nonsense - taekookers can be disgusting, manipulative, and almost mind-numbingly absurd in how they think and behave that some of that filth begs to be exposed and corrected, but I really do wish more people including jikookers left them on read.
People that disturbed are bound to self-destruct if left to their own devices. Give them any oxygen and you give them a reason to not just keep existing but to become even more intense.
I wish more jikookers realized that their engagement, more than anything else, even more than confirmation that taekook are dating, it is the engagement from jikookers that taekookers are after. Like that's the whole game. It's the same for other toxic shippers (such as the Vmin shippers above) who treat their relationships as some kind of competition. Once taekookers successfully bait you into responding, into comparing and counting 'moments', into acting like Jimin, Jungkook, and Taehyung aren't real life breathing human beings who have actual friendships in real life, then they've gotten exactly what they want. And the entire space gets overheated over nothing. Energy is redirected from more enjoyable things (their photofolio reaction vid is still fresh, RUN BTS dance practice dropped only two days before, and RM is dropping the album of the year in 2 weeks). It entrenches people deeper into their respective teams, and common sense becomes even less so.
It's weird.
It takes borderline harmless instances and artificially inflates the importance into something angsty or catastrophic. Things then take on outsized meaning only because shippers think of it so.
For example,
So what if Taehyung mentions Jungkook in his Vlives because he knows shippers would care? And so what if Jimin does the same? Or Jungkook for that matter?
Is this something that is completely impossible? Of course not. They are idols and they know many people in their fanbase enjoy hearing about their pairing interactions.
Will this mean he *only* mentions Jungkook or Jimin for that reason? Of course not. They are actual friends in real life who actually hang out. They clearly enjoy spending time together and sometimes don't mind sharing those tidbits with their fans.
Is he saying this to deliberately manipulate millions of people into hating Jimin or Jungkook because he's secretly malevolent or wants to hurt his bandmate? Of course not. Again, these are real life friendships corroborated by their own words, and that of their other 5 bandmates, etc. The people acting a fool on account of one bowling outing should be held responsible for their own actions. Taehyung is not the reason Patricia from Manila is spamming jikook blogs on Tumblr about taekook fucking under the stage in Busan to make Jimin jealous.
*
At some point, y'all are going to have to realize that taekookers enjoy doing this. It's a game. They're the og shippers because they do not see the guys as people. They're here because they think they've found an interactive telenovela game with the option to proxy self-insert. Many of them are not capable of thinking beyond the game of their ship, they are not capable of giving a fuck about possibilities outside the fantasies and narratives they create. I know it, they know it, and that's probably why after the 12th taekooker ask sent into my inbox yesterday, that person finally took a hike. There's nothing to be done for taekookers, vminers and other toxic shippers, they're too far gone. Jokers still seem like they have their wits about them and know how to have fun, so I'm addressing this to y'all instead.
These people are insane and have no one to tell them. It doesn't have to be your problem. Jimin is and will be fine. As will Jungkook and Tae. Engage with the lunatics if you must, but also please consider all the above.

On writing “In Character”
The fanfic writer’s biggest fear: waking up to an inbox comment of “This is OOC”.
While I’m mostly joking, this is still a sentiment that exists among fanfic authors, especially those who are new to the fandom. I was actually so terrified of my work being described as “out of character” that I didn’t even publish my first fanfic until 5 years after I first joined what I consider to be “fandom”.
Here’s some of my thoughts on the matter, and what helped me get out of stressing about my fanfics. Because after all, we do this for fun!
I’m not Togashi. You’re not Togashi. The only true person who can write the HxH characters perfectly “in character” is Togashi himself, and that’s because they are all his characters. Every fanfic we write with them is merely an extrapolation of their existing traits which we use to tell our own stories. Think of the characters as clay that have different properties. While you can mold them, the clay itself can have different characteristics that impact how easy they are to mold, or what tools to use with them. Instead of stressing about trying to perfectly emulate the characters, do what feels right and natural to you.
Sometimes what you see as “in character” someone else will see as “out of character”, and that’s okay. Here’s an example from a conversation I had with a friend of mine the other day.
He proposed the question to me- “Assuming he were allowed to, is Killua the kind of person to wear a skirt or dress?”
My initial thoughts on the topic were as follows: Since we see Illumi, Kalluto, and Alluka* dress in feminine outfits canonically, Killua would definitely be allowed to wear dresses or skirts. However, we never see him wearing such, therefore he likely has no interest in wearing them.
*No idea if the Zoldycks know Alluka is a trans girl, I don’t want to get into the debate right now, but regardless they allow her to dress in feminine clothes.
To that my friend brought up the idea of Killua layering a skirt over some pants and I decided to consider his idea because why not, I have no strong feelings about it one way or the other, and came up with a justification for why he would wear skirts: we see Killua change outfits many time throughout the series, suggesting he has an interest in fashion. If he saw male models with skirts in some of the fashion catalogues (or wherever he gets his outfit ideas) he may emulate those.
So... which one is correct? Was my first argument more convincing, or my second? Truth be told, I see both as correct, and here’s why.
The characters only exist in the text as we see them, but there are many facets of their existence that are up for debate. I presented a logical argument for either way, therefore they’re both “in character”, despite being opposites. Though some people would say one is “more in character” than the other, it just boils down to personal preference and interpretation at that point.
tldr of this section: if you justify it with the text it’s “in character”
To that brings my next point. Louder =/= “more correct”.
Let’s use my example again, just for fun. Let’s pretend I’m a really famous blogger, and my platform is built on the idea that Killua would never, in any circumstance, ever wear a skirt. Maybe I make memes about him rejecting frilly outfits, or even write it into a ton of fics. People reading these fics then adopt a similar headcanon for him, to the point where it seems like everyone in the fandom is accepting this. It can feel frustrating if you don’t think that’s canon, especially if everyone else is telling you that it is.
The point is, sometimes what the fandom majority says is “in character” isn’t any more “in character” than your own headcanons, it just feels like it is because everyone seems to be doing it. In this case, try to seek out people who do agree with you- or at least are willing to have conversation about your ideas. Still write that content, even if it’s against the fandom norm. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had people leave me comments that my fics that I myself was worried were “out of character” that they really enjoyed how I interpreted the characters. And I’ve made some fandom friends that way, too. You don’t have to please the masses to be “in character”.
tldr of this section: disagreeing with popular fandom interpretation doesn’t mean your headcanons are “out of character”.
Lastly, with those two talking points out of the way, if you’re not having headcanon justification / fandom issues and it’s more of a technical “how do I write this character” topic, I would suggest going back and reading the manga.
The manga, in particular, because you can skip to whatever scene easily and read the dialogue, see the sentence structure they use and get a feel for how their dialogue reads in your own head. This has helped me many times when coming up with dialogue. A little hack I use when coming up with dialogue is using the character’s voices in my head to read it out loud, and if it sounds natural then I throw it into the fic.
Another thing is if you have some supportive fandom friends, you can run ideas by them, like “oh what do you think of this concept?” and ask for a bit of feedback. 9/10 times I’ve found that friends mostly hype each other up or even might come up with some justification for why the headcanon works (akin to the killua in a skirt example) so mostly this solution is just to hype your confidence back up.
We’re our own harshest critics (except for this one guy who went to town on my nanowrimo original story from 2019, but fuck that guy in particular) so really just read the text again and have a bit more confidence in your writing. And remember, we do all of this for fun, because we want to write little stories and share them with the world. It’s not that serious, have fun with it!

Hi. I was wondering how you did your research? Apart from reading the manga or watching the anime. Your thoughts have obviously evolved and changed with time, and you have a good pulse on what other fans think. The rest of SNS fandom, NH or SS fandoms. For research, do you hold discussions with other Tumblr bloggers or stick to Quora or Reddit or Narutopedia? Do you follow up on Twitter or Insta?
I did a lot of research after my first watch, Anon.... Because I became restless after realizing the nature of SNS bond towards the very end of the series. I'll be posting about how I came to ship SNS today.. LOL... That's quite an experience.
So, After I realized, there's no way these guys could be friends and they love each other... I started to research in Google. But all I got was a severe Acid-Burn in my stomach. Because It was full of lies and delusions. Like there was this question in Quora, Was Sasuke really trying to kill Sakura after the Kage Summit Arc?.... One of the poster answered, No...... And with some bullshit theories which didn't even made any sense.
I wasn't even that strong of an SNS shipper after my first watch. I had only this faintest feeling that maybe they love each other even though I knew they won't end up together. But still, as a Non-Shipping Responsible viewer, those lies irritated me a lot. The more I researched, the more I got restless... Because of Lies and Homophobia. This is when I got to know what Naruto Fandom, especially How shipping fandoms really functions.... There's not one single space in Internet where discussion about Naruto was without any Headcanons and Delusions. Sometimes I got existential crisis, you know??? Am I blind or brainless?? How come I never saw this in the Anime??
Reddit was full of Dudebros. They really care more about Power Levels of their Favorite character and Hinata's "Prospects". Lots of homophobia over there. You really cannot comment Sasuke have feelings for Naruto over there.... If you do, then you will be demolished without any existence.
Then comes Instagram.... God!!!! Totally full of rabid Assholes. And most of them are Girls. I spent a whole day to block and filter Naruto tags in Insta.... Because SS girls repulsed me a lot. Their fan arts and head canons and the words they use to abuse people..... Ewwww!!!
Then comes Quora.... It is pretty Okay. And yet bad. Some write ups are really honest with full of facts and panels. Whereas some are entirely bordered on delusional Zone. From there, I got perspectives. Like how SS, NH, NS shippers think about their own ships and other ships. I came to this conclusion that, when it comes to bashing other ships they are completely Analytical comparable to the level of Sherlock Holmes and their posts were full of Manga panels. However when it comes to their own ships though, they go full-on delusional!!!! LOL. Quora is a good place to get the thought process about other ships in a less irritable and decent way. [[Oh, If you decide to check Quora.... Instead of only going through the answers, you should check the Comment section... That’s where the fun part lies.]]
I DID ALL OF THE ABOVE BEFORE COMING INTO TUMBLR.... So, Before I even decided to write my first post here, I pretty much knew how other shipping fandoms’ brain got wired and functions.
And finally Tumblr.... I think this is the only safe-haven for SNS shippers. Even if you don’t ship SNS, you will still find most of the reliable information about Naruto Series from here, especially in SNS related tags. I discussed with few SNS bloggers about SS and NH Fandom.. But most of the times, we end up talking only about SNS.. LOL. Sometimes they share about their bitter experience they faced from other shippers, some ugly fan-arts and Head Canons.... And some delusional posts they came across.
So, Yupp!!! Quora and Tumblr is where I get a lot of opinions about other ships. But venturing into SS and NH tags here, in Tumblr, is not Recommended for people with Faint Hearts or irritable eyes, especially SS.

What's ur take on th amazon prime middle earth show atm? Thoughts, feelings about the new rumours/news?
I was going a little spare about it in my discord server, let me try and tie all these thoughts down for you. Also to be CLEAR... I'm going to pretend that these 'leaks' are things I believe will happen rather than published by TOR ie, dubious at best. Here's a link to the article anon's talking about.
So, first off, the tolkien estate is apparently happy with the production... I have to file this under what will become quite a well populated reaction box 'that sounds good but it makes me nervous also'. I'm very glad Priscilla likes it though, that's still good to know.
Next, Amazon has SOME Silm and unfinished tales rights... This probably worries the silm fandom far more than it worries me, but in terms of the production itself it seems very positive to me. I mean god... how else would they have... made the show... Like they'd have had to rename kings and straight up ignore plot points without it. AND YET I am actually still surprised. I suppose I shouldn't be, there's quite a lot of moving and shaking since Christopher died and I was always pretty sure he was the one keeping it all under lock and key. And considering the Nature of Middle Earth book is coming out now too with rumoured withheld letters and such, it seems the remaining holders are more lenient with the property rights.
There's a hilarious section where the article is like 'hm it might be that the show will span multiple sections of time' and I'm like well... it'll be a fuckin narrow as hell show if it doesn't... I dont think a single narrative ends in less than 100 years. The part about the dwarves, elves and humans having their own separate production units is interesting but I dont think I know enough about how tv making works to know what that says about the show. But what TOR suggests in the article, an anthology of POV's, would be pretty cool and was more in line with what I originally wanted it to look like. Did this make me a LEETLE excited? Maybe, but I can't acknowledge that yet.
The fake production team shooting fake shots is just funny, like you're using the money this way? Please... it wont be so bad if we see leaked images of shooting I promise I swear.
Lenny Henry as a harfoot is like... LIKE... this is definitely very excellent. I'm a little concerned that all the actors of colour will be relegated to just the hobbits, but I'm actually just a little too excited about seeing wandering hobbits and ALSO HAHA! Now @penny-anna has to watch the show >:3
Tom Budge... who WAS celebrimbor... Like.. I have been umming and arring over this, I go from 'god no' to '.. eh? maybe I see your point?' but in general I still feel like there were more dramatic and enigmatic choices that could have been made for casting such a character. However celebrimbor should have a moustache I think, so, maybe. Still not psyched about this vision of Celebrimbor as far as casting goes.
this is just straight up terrifying. Although it's still funny to me how the entire tolkien mega community saw JRRT say 'actually I was wrong the first time, orcs aren't elves they're corrupted early humans' and they all replied with the [I respect the council has made a decision nick fury.meme] But no seriously... what the fuck, go back to the sex having.
It's absolutely gruelling to me that the major elf debate we're at is 'can elves have short hair', like ok... I do want elves with short hair but that is not the major elf portrayal issue I want discussed here boys. When I say 'can elves be not-white' I want you to say 'yes, here they are'. Still, I do want to see elves with short hair.
And finally absolutely DELIGHTED to know I wont have to suffer Annatar in season 1. I get respite before the angbang bloggers descend on the tags.
IN GENERAL (still pretending I believe all these leaks, which I don't) This is all... encouraging... some of it's worrying and I'm jumpy about it but I would.. I would like an anthology... with a raft of perspectives, timelines and plots... this is what I was wanting when they talked about 'rivalling game of thrones' so... now we gotta wait for mid-2022 I guess... God I think Alecto the Ninth is coming out then too, I'm so beset.

IronStrange Starter Kit - Master Fic Rec List for all Y’all Because You’ve been Asking and I’ve been Avoiding
Hi! All you anons and askers, I made a list!!! Hopefully some of these are what you’ve been after. :D
(Please reblog this, lol, I spent too much time on it...)
General rules: These are complete unless indicated otherwise, and end happily unless indicated otherwise. There’s a variety of ratings, as I have no qualms against smut, but I don’t usually read it outside of a larger plot. So I don’t think there’ll be many explicit stories on here. Word counts vary; I indicate general length but don’t go into specifics. What else, uh... Bold stuff is the headers and general subjects. I link the titles. Block quotes are author summaries. Enjoy!!
-
Okay so first off, there are a couple of Fandom Staples who just have leagues worth of good short stories, and if you haven’t read them, then definitely treat yourself to the array:
A Thousand Futures of Me and You - VisionaryGalaxy (Vishanti, what a legend, ily so much). This is a series of unconnected one-shots, each their own and covering a variety of tropes and moments and themes and AUs. They’re so fun (and/or painful and/or thought-provoking and/or tense and/or sexy)! In-character and amazing, consistantly.
Prompt Collection - amethyst-noir (Arbonne). (Also a legendary human). This is exactly what it sounds like: a series of prompt fills in all sorts of tones. You’ll almost certainly find something here that feels like it was just made for you!
Alright, onto the individual stories and series!
Long fics/series:
The of overqualified hands and pi figures series - lantia4ever. (This was my first Ironstrange story, and it is no less magical now.)
A series of one-shots, all set in the same alternate verse in which Tony and Stephen first meet following the events of the first Avengers and then continue to meet after that throughout the canon up until Infinity War and eventually beyond it. Becoming friends - and more along the way.
Time After Time - fancylances. (I love love LOVE this one. Highly recommended.)
Tony Stark is unstuck in time. Stephen Strange might just be the only person in the universe qualified enough to help.
Citizen Erased - Imagined. (This author. Just... such a wonderful, talented, stunning person who makes wonderful, talented, stunning works. This story is masterful.)
What do you do when no one in the world ever manages to remember you?
Anyone who sees Tony Stark promptly forgets he ever existed after mere seconds. When everyone he has ever cared about has lost their memories of him, he goes to Stephen Strange, possibly the only one who can help him lift the curse. But a terrifying danger is coming, and saving the world isn’t an easy job to do when no one can remember who you are.
if only the gods had mercy on us and it’s sequel a soul too deep - orphan_account. (Vishanti, this series... It’s so beautiful and emotional and heart-breaking and heart-warming. And it has so few views for so many words! One of my absolute favorites, VERY highly recommended.)
Tony Stark loved Stephen Strange. He loved him more than anyone could ever imagine. But then a terrorist group attacked the convoy. Then there was a car accident. In the middle of it all, there is tired, battered love. (And, maybe, a little bit of genius)
From the Top - lucifersfavoritechild. (Everyone reads this fic. Written by the blogger Monarch Of The Ironstrange Ship, it’s an MCU rewrite around the relationship. Very fun.)
“Stephen, if you’re . . . there somewhere . . . when I drift off, I’ll be with you again. I can’t wait.”
|| Personally, I think the MCU would be much better as a love story between Stephen Strange and Tony Stark. Don't you?
Starting from Iron Man, and going all the way to Endgame, with all the appropriate stops in between. Let's take it from the top.
UNFINISHED: Skin Deep - Mystical_Magician. (Super cool premise, and super interesting to read! The dynamic here is very fun.)
A battle that should have finally killed Stephen instead launches him into a parallel universe. Exhausted from centuries as Sorcerer Supreme, he chooses instead to explore this new world in any animal form except human. Having hoped for peace at last, he can't stand to be looked up to, to be responsible for others, to have the world on his shoulders.
If he'd hoped to avoid excitement, however, he really should have stayed away when he noticed an enormous explosion and a falling metal suit of armor as he passed through Afghanistan.
UNFINISHED: The End of Infinity - FriendlyNeighborhoodFangirls. (Self rec. Very long, very slow-burn. Canon-compliant Endgame fix-it. I’m trying so hard, lol.)
In 2023, the battle for the universe has been won. At a cost no one can forget, the fight is over—for all but one. Stephen Strange has an idea. An impossible idea spanning dimensions and timelines, life and death, and the lines of good and evil. But he's played impossible odds before—perhaps he never stopped.
All that Loki wanted was to fight, one last time, for the fate of his universe. So when he finds himself fighting for another, crashing into the past, he has a few intended words for the wizard that forced him there. But not before he finds a boy. Or, more accurately, before the boy finds him.
Peter Parker had been waiting for the next mission. He just doesn't expect it to come from the future, armed with a ridiculous story demanding a ridiculous quest. And he doesn't expect not to be able to tell Mr. Stark.
Tony Stark is trying to rebuild from the Civil War, knowing that someday, something will come that he needs to be ready for. And he doesn't know it yet, but two universes are trying to rebuild around him, and that something is already here.
Seven Stones. Five dead. Two universes. And one impossible quest to tie it all back together.
UNFINISHED: Sunrise in Exile - Ragdoll (Keshka). (Another fandom favorite! And for good reason. This is really really good!)
Tony does the math and realizes their best chance to save the universe is by... not confronting Thanos on his own turf.
So he steals a wizard and a spider and a space ship. And he runs.
(Three humans and an A.I in space, the alien friendships they make along the way, and discovering how science and magic might coexist in a universe where they can be one and the same.)
Shorter plotty ones:
Out of Suffering - Mystical_Magician. (So this author??? THIS AUTHOR??? Very very good, much yes, very good.)
Stephen Strange does not like people, but 14,000,605 lifetimes of fighting and dying alongside this small group have worn down his walls. He likes them, gods help him. He might even consider them friends. It’s really for the best that they all go their separate ways once Thanos has been defeated. In their eyes, he’s barely even an acquaintance.
Now if only Tony and Peter would stop surprising him.
moros - spookykingdomstarlight. (Almost got a spot in the angst section. Very good).
There were fourteen million universes Stephen had birthed into existence and let die and, in far more than he cared to count, the visitor standing before him had become something… dear.
Shaking is Caring - mariadperiad20. (This is just STUNNING. Highly loved.)
5 times Stephen's hands would shake, +1 time they didn't.
It's Kinda Chalky - DestielsDestiny. (This one’s pretty short, but definitely worth it.)
You can live an entire lifetime by looking into someone’s eyes. His sister used to say that all the time. Stephen never gave it much thought back then. These days, he can think of little else.
Something Magic - Imagined. (Beautiful!)
There is only ever one rule that matters:
do not fall in love with the enemy.
An Idiotic Theory - FriendlyNeighborhoodFangirls. (Self rec! I tried to be funny.)
His wizard has been cursed, again, and Tony's already used up his luck for the day.
(Stephen says it's not a curse. He says Tony's whole daily-allotted karma-based luck theory has minimal merit, citing the fact that Tony had come up with it while he was drunk.)
Tony really should have saved his miracle.
Love Through Time - babywarg (morphaileffect). (I love this one. It sticks with you.)
Tony discovers an old drawing of, and finally remembers, his invisible friend Stephen from when he was a child.
Alternates - doobler. (Super cool!)
After being punked by a lowbrow magician, Stephen finds himself falling through doors to otherwordly dimensions. How will he ever get home?
132 - 28ghosts. (Soulmate AU! Very fun, incorporates Stephen’s time-loop with Dormammu.)
Ninety-nine point eight percent of humans have a soulmate mark that tells them the age their soulmate will be when they meet them. Tony Stark has a mark. It's just that his is...different than most people's.
(Or: six people who aren't Tony Stark's soulmate, and one who is.)
and when the world falls (I will fall with it) - HeavenChild. (Another multichap soulmate AU. Absolutely lovely.)
Tony will give anything to those he loves.
People will take everything he gives before leaving him in shambles.
Rhodhey, Pepper and Vision have had enough.
Or the five times Tony had his heart broken and the one time he didn't.
i saw the end of the world - JumpToConclusions. (Why has no one read this fic??? It’s so good!!! Stephen knows the future since he saw it on Titan, and things grow more complex from there.)
Tony and Strange are trying to make this work, this being remaking The Avengers. ...And maybe they'll stumble into something else along the way.
Tiresome heart, forever living and dying - Mystical_Magician. (R e a d t h i s p l e a s e. The mythology is so cool and the symbolism is so beautiful and the prose is so satisfying. One of my absolute faves.)
As a fledgling crane, Stephen was too curious for his own good, and it was this curiosity that led to Eugene Strange finding and stealing away his feather robe. Trapped in human form, cruelly forged into the perfect son, not even his father's death freed him when his robe was so well hidden. He only managed to break his father's mold after breaking completely in the aftermath of his accident, and slowly gluing those broken pieces back together at Kamar-Taj, but not even magic could find what had been hidden. Enter Tony, after the defeat of Thanos.
Fluffy ones:
From The Outside - Live. (Hilarious.)
Being a sentient life-form surrounded by humanity can be hard. Especially when said humans just can't admit their feelings for each other.
Sleeping Iron Man - Golden_Asp. (Another fun one. Perfect balance of ridiculousness with a touch of angst to make it interesting.)
Stephen Strange stared at the Avengers on his doorstep, Tony Stark flung over Steve Rogers' shoulder like a sack of potatoes. "He touched something, didn't he?" "Yuup." or The one where Tony touches Sleeping Beauty's spindle, is put into an enchanted sleep, and everyone, even Rocket Raccoon, take their turn kissing him. But Tony only has one prince charming.
Doctor Ob(li)vious - lantia4ever. (One of my very favorites. So cute.)
Stephen starts getting some weird looks from the Avengers, spanning across disturbed, confused and even scared all the way to curious. He dismisses it at first until weird turns into knowing.
And knowing turns into realizing...even if the scheming teenagers had to all but paint it on the walls for him to do so. Oh wait...
Applied Combinatorics in Two-Player Games - 28ghosts. (Short and fun and full of snark.)
After a battle, Tony Stark and Stephen Strange argue about games.
-
“Chess is not a solved problem.”
“Has been since ‘97, Kasparov versus Deep Blue. Kasparov, 1; Deep Blue, 2; three draws.”
“Chess is a game, not a problem.”
The Courtship of Peter Parker's Father (Figures) - flyingonfeatherlesswings. (Peter plays matchmaker! Adorable.)
Peter couldn't stand to sit by while Tony and Stephen danced around each other any longer. Something had to be done.
Speaking Eyes - Vrishchika. (Not Steve Friendly. Tony is amazing in this. And Stephen is so fantastically dramatic.)
Tony has always had expressive eyes.
The Signs of Sleep Deprivation - FriendlyNeighborhoodFangirls. (Another self-rec. <3)
"Tony said to put the potato in the dishwasher, so that's what I did."
Sometimes, Avengers just show up to say hi. Sometimes, they all show up at once, and Tony makes an party out of it. Sometimes, he invites the snarky, oblivious, somewhat insecure wizard because, and Peter quotes: "everyone else is coming".
Sometimes, something needs to be done.
Show Me Your Scars (And I'll Show You Mine) - Imagined. (Adorable. Lovely. Imagined does it again.)
The worst part is that Stephen keeps tucking his hands away, just as Tony wants to hold them. He keeps hiding them, surreptitiously, no matter what they’re doing. It’s only when Tony kisses Stephen, or hugs him, that he feels the hands settle on his back, uncertain, ready to pull back within seconds.
It only makes him want to cuddle up to Stephen even more, but he backs away, not sure if it’d be welcome.
Promise? Promise. - sharonscarters. (AU, kidfic, absolutely adorable.)
A four year old Tony Stark runs away from home and finds his Guardian Angel.
What The Doctor Ordered - wakandan_wardog. (Post CW. Kind of not Rogues friendly? So fun, makes me smile. I re-read this one a lot.)
The Rogue Avengers are called back to New York because the heavy hitters are going to be needed against Thanos. Of course, there are some truths that Steve Rogers will need to accept sooner rather than later. Tony Stark has moved on and Stephen Strange will not suffer fools lightly.
Hurt/Comforty ones:
Among The Chaos of The Stars (You're My Safe Harbour) - ShootMeDead. (Oh my vishanti. OH MY VISHANTI. So so so so SO good.)
Stephen has always been able to hear the stars. Tony is the only one who can silence them.
each night like a white noise frequency - Phierie. (I ADORE THIS FIC. OKAY. I LOVE IT. READ IT.)
Stephen is no stranger to making hard choices. He doesn’t regret his actions on Titan, but months later they weigh on his mind heavier than ever; the cracks begin to show.
Just An Accident - CucumbersInGold. (I really like fics with Stephen’s hands and the difficulties thereabout. Idk, just one of my favorite things. This is beautiful).
Stephen's hands act up.
Learning, Unlearning - Caaaaaaas. (More character study than anything else. Really good.)
Whatever Stephen wanted with life, life just didn’t seem to know what to do with him.
In which Stephen learns and unlearns some very important lessons.
your eyes have their silence - doctortwelfth. (Oh look it’s another scars fic. I told you I liked them.)
Tony is gentle with Stephen’s hands even when Stephen forgets to be.
Burning Lines Into The Snow - petroltogo. (Not very Steve friendly. Short and sweet.)
Post CW: It's not just the team that's so broken they are barely able to comprehend how many parts they're missing now, how many have been ripped and twisted and torn. It's Tony as well, right down to the core, the damage so far-reaching even he doesn't know how to fix it.
And then there's Strange, who has his own way of covering the cracks.
Old Bones - CJtheWeeb. (Owch. Dumb geniuses trying to be invulnerable.)
Sometimes Stephen Strange has great days, where he was nearly pain free and his hands still enough to where he could pick up a cup of water and barely spill a drop.
Today was not one of those days.
something taken, something new - meowrails. (So in-character. The premise was a little off to me, but I’m so glad I decided to read this one. I really really like this fic.)
The ChronicConnection implement and app allows a person that lives with chronic or illness-induced pain to transfer their burden temporarily to a willing loved one.
Tony and Stephen sign up as beta testers.
Angsty ones (happy ending unless otherwise mentioned):
day one - days4daisy. (THIS IS SO GOOD OKAY IF YOU READ NOTHING ELSE ON THIS LIST READ THIS).
Three days in Stark Tower. Stephen must be in bad shape if he just agreed to this.
His Merlin - babywarg (morphaileffect). (This author keeps showing up on this list because they are A LEGEND. A LEGEND I TELL YOU.)
As a child, Tony imagined himself a Knight of the Round Table. Little did he know he would grow up to be a king. And that he would have a wizard by his side to lead him to either glory or destruction.
there is no heart for me like yours - turtle_abyss. (Soulmate AU! Wonderful. <3)
Being able to feel your soulmate - a phantom touch, a bone-deep awareness - is a divine torture. To know, but not see. To seek, but not find. To feel someone holding your hand and not be able to hold theirs.
Grace - StrangeMischief. (*cries in beautiful fic* Happy ending!)
“Pain’s an old friend.”
Us...Me - StrangeMischief. (This will hurt you. So melancholy. Pepper and Tony live their life, and Tony remembers. Not a happy ending.)
“I don’t believe in happily ever after.”
One-Thousand Cranes - FriendlyNeighborhoodFangirls. (Self rec, sorry. Hopeful ending.)
After it all, a man with shaking hands makes a wish.
courtesy - deathofglitter. (Dealing with the fourteen-million futures. So good.)
Stark looked at him like he looked at the amulet that rested on his chest like a steady promise - dutiful, a bit burdened, and trying to hold a profound lack of personal emotion whatsoever, still personal enough to protect as anyone would a precious object.
La Douleur Exquise - BananasofThorns, StrangeMischief. (More pain. Pepper and Tony, and Stephen watching and trying not to wish. Very good, no happy ending.)
The before was easy. There were fewer boxes in their minds and no chains around their hearts. There was no hurt. No tears. No dreams.
But those days were long gone.
Stigmata - babywarg (morphaileffect). (AU! Soulmates again. Very interesting, beautifully done.)
Since Stephen was little, mysterious wounds have appeared and disappeared on his body, leaving mysterious scars. His mother says it's because he's one of a Pair, and he's absorbing pain meant for someone else.
*wipes brow* PHEW! That gotta a little more in-depth than I first intended... Have fun, my MysticIron friends. Happy quarantine.

So because I still follow a couple of people from the old SPN community I used to be a part of (that Destiel meta community, you know the one I'm sure), I'm finally starting to see the drama that's going on in that community now. And holy crapola! That community is practically imploding on itself. I'm so glad that I burned those bridges when I did, when I recognized those bloggers for the toxic, petty people that they are. When I started speaking my opinions on how I viewed that section of the meta community, some people didn't like that I did that and they went on this huge blocking spree. Blocking me and blocking anyone who liked my posts which I thought was kind of petty, afterall, I had never gone to them and attacked them or had been anything less than the pinnacle of politeness. All I did was post my honest opinions one time about how I felt and I thought I was very nice and polite about what I was trying to say, I've definitely seen people say worse to them. I definitely didn't think it was something that warranted their attention, after all, who am I to these people? They run blogs that probably have hundreds of followers and I'm running a blog that sits on a merry 200 followers (and it was even less than 200 at that point, we're talking like maybe 100 followers if even that). I'm a nobody to them, why on earth would they care about the things I have to say especially since I rarely ever engaged in conversation with them? It just seemed super petty and toxic to me and maybe passive bullying but then I thought about it some more and I thought I could chalk it up to maybe just them having a bad day, getting sick of fandom mildew and all that crap but ultimately, I was happy to see them go, I was happy I wouldn't have to see their posts on my dashboard that more often than not, typically made me angry. And with them out of my life is what paved the way for a much more happy and fulfilling fandom experience. Sometimes I was sad because they would occasionally write some meta I was interested in reading but whatever, I got over it and said what's done is done. But now that I'm starting to see what's happening with this community now, I'm realizing I absolutely made the right choice in saying what I did and reacting the way I did. I didn't try to fix things with these people as I usually have a tendency to do (I don't like having people angry with me so I typically do try and mend fences when fences are broken). My gut feeling was that these are people I shouldn't associate with and I'm so glad I went with that guy feeling. I'm so glad that something in me saw these people for the toxic, petty bullies that they are and I jumped ship when I did.
And all this happening over a dumb Warner Bros tv show that has always had uneven writing. I get people are passionate in fandom, as am I, but come on, really, is this show worth all this drama and in-fighting, and bullying? Is the ship worth all of this?

Meet the Authors: Juri!
1) What's your name?
Juri was the nickname I was gifted on here. My full username is JurassicRaptorCat. Im also known as TJ!
2) Who are you?
The co-author of Sepnautical. Uuuh. I'm just a blogger here on Tumblr stumbling her way through fandoms.
3) How did Septnautical start?
From pain. No seriously I was getting ready for kidney stone surgery cause one had blocked up my kidney and Huffle drew Jackie as a reaper and I flipping loved it so I messaged her asking what the other boys would be and we both plotted and planned from there. If you saw those beginning notes of Septnautical you'd be astounded at how much has changed. Huffle only found out later that I was high as a kite off of painkillers from surgery. It was an entertaining conversation.
4) Who's your favorite Septnautical boy?
Crap. Um. I LOVE THEM ALL! I think I would have to maybe choose Schneep in the end. He’s such a perfect boy in this AU.
5) What was your favorite story to write?
Sound of Silence by far was my favorite story to write. Just gah! I'm sorry Jamie but your pain was needed. And with one of my favorite creatures in Septnautical to! I listened to Crabsquid sounds on repeat the entire time I wrote that story. Trust me it was a trip.
6) What is your favored genre to write?
I actually kinda prefer adventure stories. I don't know but something about writing that is the best to me. Of course fluff is a close second. Helps balance out Huffle with her angst.
7) What are some strengths of yours in writing?
Hm I'd have to say some strengths I have are speaking sections. They're something I've always struggled with and beginning of 2018 I decided I was gonna work to improve them. I feel like I've come a long way in terms of that.
8) What are some weaknesses?
Definitely scene building. I really need to work on that and having characters convey emotion without outright saying it. It's a long road to improvement but heck if I did it my speaking scenes I can do it for this!
9) How has Sepnautical impacted you?
I've met so many great people! I dabbled in puzzles. Its helped my writing and creativity! It's slightly helping with my phobia of the ocean. Yeah that's a thing...the co-author of Septnautical has a major fear of the ocean….
But I’m really proud of how far this blog has come! It’s like a huge milestone for both Huffle and I. Like look at our little baby blog all grown up and holding a whump ton of angst in it! I couldn’t be prouder!
10) Any hints for us about upcoming projects for Sepnautical?
We have a whole new arc for the boys planned out so keep an eye out! I'm also gonna dust off and eventually bring back Breakwater once I figure out a better plot for it. Poor thing didn’t get enough love from me that it deserved but I have some ideas for it to bring it back better than ever! Huffle and I are talking about a few other smaller projects in the works so expect lots of lovely things in the future!

Most interactions celebrities have with their fans is through media and social media.
My point being: A fan didn’t decry Brie Larson to her face. What happened is that Brie Larson read news online, looked at what was trending on Twitter (note: the ‘top’ section is curated), was asked a question by the media on fan behaviour. What she saw was fans being well, toxic.
The media holds more power in this situation than Brie or fans. They can twist any narrative or story as they wish to provoke a ‘headline’ reaction. Thus, they don’t tell Brie Larson of the many fans she has, or how Captain Marvel was heavily promoted and talked about on Tumblr. Instead, they read the worst of the worst comments on IMDB. That’s why you get creators saying ‘fandom is toxic’- although they should be smart enough to figure out they are being baited by the media.
I don’t want to become a conspiracy theorist- but I think the biggest competitors to established media are YouTubers and bloggers. You know, independent entertainment journalists. They are who mainstream media are now competing with.
Whilst I think fans and creators have a responsibility to be civil and respectful- I do believe that the traditional media can make things seem worse. We need to start seeing the media as an ‘interlink’ between us ordinary humans and the ‘elite.’ It will help us understand Silicon Valley and Hollywood a lot better.

This is a post to no one bc idrk if anyone i used to talk to on tumblr or like anyone who follows me is still around but i just wanna share some shit bc this is my blog and i can🤷🏽♀️
I joined tumblr when i was like... 13 i think? It wasnt the first online thing i was super involved in. Before that I was on fanpop lol. Anyway, i really got into it bc it was a bunch of people involved in ‘geeky’ stuff and that wasnt normal in my small town. It made me feel really accepted and it was cool. I even made some cool friends (not a lot bc i feared talking to strangers lol) but it kinda fucked me up too?
Now im sure people have noticed and i really dont know if this is the case still cause i rlly only follow meme blogs but there eas a desire on this site to just be miserable during the first 3 years i was on here. Everybody wanted to be sad or offended by legitimately everything. It was fucked up but as a young kid (who had no business on this site honestly) this really influenced me. I felt that in order to fit in or just onderstand i kinda needed to be miserable?? I got myself into these deep depressed states and these awful mindsets because thats how the internet said i should be. I became withdrawn and I really think this mindset is really what triggered my social anxiety. (I kinda figured id get normal anxiety cause of genes but not social oof)
At first i had it in my head that i wasnt gonna talk to people bc i live in a small town and theyre ignorant and racist (my town is mostly half breeds and mexicans and i was an asshole). I kinda got this god complex??? Like somehow i was better bc i read a few posts on tumblr about new age issues. This hate kinda grew into fear tho. Like over the years instead of wondering what was wrong with people i started to wonder what was wrong with me? I started to fear anyone i saw laughing or even talking near me bc i assumed it was about me. I wouldnt talk to my friends if they were at a table with strangers bc i feared i would annoy them or they would dislike me. I sat alone during morning break my 9th grade year because i didnt want to disturb my friends at a table with like 2 strangers. I started thinking my friends hated me and even my family and... god i was alone and i didnt feel like this was right anymore?? Like at first i liked relating to all the edgy textposts and memes about hating others and being alone but it got to real.
I started getting breathing pains in 9th grade where i wouldnt be able to breath all the way in and i couldnt get enough air but ot faded. I got kinda good at talking to people again bit i was still scared. I would sit alone in most classes cause none of my friends had the same classes as me but that was cool because my safe haven was band first period and lunch and those two periods just really got me to kinda open up. I ended up becoming a section leader for band and thats a lotta strangers i gotta be in charge of but it was ok until my junior year. I started having the breathing pains again but it was different. I really couldnt get any air and it made me wanna faint. I ended up leaving in the middle of morning rehearsals one day and me and my mom went to the clinic. The dr examined my breathing and what not and determined that I had been having mini panic attacks. We finally got me started on some meds even tho my mom and dad werent sure but god they changed my life.
The rest of my junior year went well and me and my parents noticed a change right awwy. My fears feom before were just like poofed away. My senior year tho was the changer. I did so mich sit and had so much fun. I could just talk to people??? I could go up to someone and just talk to them??? I could call my own appointments or other lines. It was so new but at the same time i didnt even realise i was changing. I stopped getting on tumblr bc it was just bumming me out. I had this new perspective on life and god i was just so sick of being miserable and hating myself.
I love being me now. I love that i can talk and meet new people and go to new places withought fear. I feel so grounded and free to be me. Im not worried about impressing others or caring about if certain people will care what i posted or whatever. I was done worrying and hating and i was ready to be in the moment and be me for once in my life. I was finally feeling confident.
Im in college now and im happy. Im not afraid to stand up for myself anymore and im willing to ask questions in class. I can sit alone in my room for a day without me thinking im alone cause im hated. And i can get on tumblr again and look at funny poctures and reminisce in my old days of a fandom blogger and what not. It wasnt all bad, i made some really great friends and i may not talk to them but I remember them and I remember feeling acceptance from them which ment a lot to me back then. I also got just really informed on what was happening in the world and the issues within peoples lives and thats part of the reason i became and family and child sciences major.
Im happy about the person ive become and im ready for what else is to come. Thanks
#yall dont gotta read#its 3am and im just really feelin it ig#sorry if its long idk of tumblr does the little read more thing anymore??#whoops#fuckkk i just scrolled past this and its at least two thumb swipes thats kinda wack i was v much in my feels

I'm a small blog with a very small base of followers. I don't know who this will reach but I can't not say this.
I am disgusted and disappointed and pissed with some of you KM blogs right now. To the point that I really want to start unfollowing but a lot of you are respected and I really do appreciate your content. Tumblr was a positive place for me, this fandom has been positive for me. I needed it. But some of you are being toxic.
Yes, I am talking about peach's infamous post about Jikook. What the fuck else are you people talking about other than answering your toxic troll anon asks instead of ignoring them like they should be rather than giving them the exposure and time of fucking day.
Let me be absolutely clear where I stand for what few people do see my posts:
I follow peach. I saw her post immediately after it was posted. I did not personally agree with her opinion of where KM are at. I read her post as a pure statement of opinion. Why?
Because she put a goddamn disclaimer at the top of her post in goddamn italics. Plain as fucking day for all who cared to see.
If you want to discuss your disagreements with her opinion or if you agree with it, you're all free to do whatever you please. We all are.
If you have to lie about someone, deliberately or not, if you have to perpetuate a lie, if you have to continuously bring this topic up and beat this horse until it's dead in the ground, if you have to do exactly what you bitch and moan about your toxic anons doing which is spreading negativity and hysteria (yes, that is what you are doing if you keep at this), then I do not know what the fuck to say. There is no wonder this section of the fandom is imploding. There is no wonder it implodes in cycles like this. Because one or two toxic copy and paste anons go to one KM blog, they don't like the answer they got, or perhaps they do because they realize they can twist it, they go to others, and pretty soon even the most logical and respected bloggers are pontificating about the drama which, in this case, is based on a lie.
I am specifically talking about those of you who are discussing peach, her post, and the issues in this fandom with the statements that so long as we don't state our opinions as fact we're OK but the problem is that a disclaimer was not provided'.
Friends, a fucking disclaimer was provided. Even if it hadn't of been provided the OP was very clearly stating their opinion and framed it as such.
What more do you people want?
If you have to tell that lie when discussing the post and the issues it's brought up then you are the one being irresponsible. You're not doing this fandom, ARMYS as a whole or just us Jikookers, any fucking favors right now.
#seriously disgusted#mob mentality is not a joke friends#youd think after what this fandom has gone through that these things wouldnt keep happening#we cant blame all of this on troll anon asks#who publishes and answers the troll asks guys?#the only reason i didnt react to the post was BECAUSE it was just her OPINION and she stated as such#i could not believe my eyes when i saw a respected KM blog#a blog I FOLLOW answering an ask about her post and saying the problem was just that a disclaimer was not provided#could not believe#i was flabbergasted#did any of you read the post when it was published or just after boarding the hate train?#whats worse is some of you are still saying you respect her#you respect her so much why are you doing this?#if you have to tell that lie to bolster your point then youre being irresponsible#as so many if you are suggesting that she was#i dont care who this offends#bts#bangtan boys#bangtan seonyandan#bangtan#jikook#kookmin

so i'm going to preface this by saying that these are entirely my own opinions, i in no way think these opinions are superior, but they are based on how i've been feeling lately, no matter how accurate or misplaced those feelings may be.
i’m addressing some things i’ve noticed in the shinee fandom (not as a whole, but regularly) lately that have been bothering me.
you have every right to disagree with me, and i will gladly talk through these disagreements if you'd like to, so long as your response is respectful and acknowledges that i'm permitted to have my own stance here, because i definitely believe you are permitted to have yours. please don't bother responding to this unless you actually read everything. i know it's very long, and i apologize if i don't word things clearly or make errors in communicating myself accurately. please give me some leeway in this, as these words are coming from a really raw place, and i don't entirely trust myself to speak with confidence.
also please note that some of this may be triggering. i talk about jonghyun and some of the feelings i had after his death, so please be aware of that as you read. i've marked the section where i begin to discuss this with an asterisk (*).
here we go. first, some background. i got in deep into kpop a couple of years ago after taemin's press it album was released, and found myself falling in love with not only taemin's music but also with shinee's. i was really attracted to their talent, their varied discography, and their personalities. but what really sealed the deal for me were shawols. i joined tumblr originally under the url @/celes-tae, (i'd been on tumblr for years prior under another url, but never posted kpop content) and as a new blogger i didn't understand everything at first but i felt really comfortable right away. shawols seemed kind, mature, intelligent... so many things that i really craved in companionship with others, even if it was just online. i felt like i was a little late to the game (at the time i was 23 and was really only a casual listener of kpop before then), but i felt like that didn't matter to this fandom. people were so kind, and as i began to embrace a role as a content-creator i really felt like i was appreciated and accepted into this niche that i really loved. beyond that, i was able to form friendships that have proven to be really valuable to me and have really touched my heart. at the time, i really felt like shawols were generally more accepting than other fandoms i dabbled in. this is based mostly off of some of the people and words i came across on this website, and of course not as an accurate representation of any fandom as a whole, but i felt for a very long time that i would be one of those people who only stanned one group and that group would be shinee, because everything else seemed to complicated to grasp for a newcomer like me. as i got more into the music, though, i realized that there were so many other great things i was missing out on, and i steadily became more multifandom, first with getting more into monsta x than the casual fan i had been up until that point, and then with seventeen. i also started listening to bts more, because i really liked their music, but i distanced myself from the fandom simply because it felt really complex and it wasn't something i wanted to take the effort to navigate and find my place in at the time. this went on for a while, and i made friends with so many people and started making content for monsta x and seventeen in addition to shinee and just did what made me happy, and none of this ever had a negative impact on my friendships or more casual interactions on tumblr, at least none that were made evident to me. i went to shinee concerts and made more friends, gushed about new content and new music with others, and it was all so lovely... even with the occasional controversies among shawols nothing ever really seemed to break us or cause major discord, and i was so proud of that. on november 2, 2017, i accidentally deleted my blog (then @/taeminihyuk), and had to remake. i was devastated because of the content i lost, of course, but mostly because i knew it would be difficult if not impossible to reestablish all of the connections i'd made with people via that blog. this didn't end up being the case though. i was welcomed back by old friends and made TONS of new ones, many of whom i'm close with now. since remaking, i've felt so much positivity and love from others and seen so much of these same emotions exchanged on my dash, and i can't help but smile. of course this is just a website, and is in no way a replacement for flesh and blood human relationships, but that doesn't mean it can't have a vastly positive impact on people's lives, because it really has on mine. through this blog i've been exposed to music and art that has directly inspired me in my own life, and brought me out of some pretty dark places. i think that's what this should be about more than anything. not notes or fame or awards or streams, but the real evidenced impact that being a fan of a musician, or any art, can bring. please keep this in mind as you read on. * when jonghyun passed away, i felt a sadness that i've never felt before. i won't say it's the worst pain i've ever felt, but it was different, more suffocating and unexpected, than any pain i'd experienced up until then. in no way am i insinuating that you are wrong in your reactions to his death if you feel differently from how i did. i know that for many people there was no worse pain than the reality of losing him, and these feelings are valid, and you are entitled to feel and react to that sadness however you want. for me though, the heartbreak came not only from the sudden loss, but also in viewing everything that shattered afterward. in the people i knew and some who didn't, who were broken. at first, as with any devastation, people came together in support of one another. i received messages from bloggers i'd never interacted with before, who wanted to just check on me and let me know they were there if i needed them. i did my best to reciprocate that sentiment and tried to be a source of comfort for people. in many ways this was harmful though, because i didn't spend enough time actually grieving, and in many ways i'm still feeling some of the repercussions of that. regardless, the love and care that i saw from other people in those weeks following his death are things i'll look back on with gratefulness probably forever.
as time wore on though, that sense of camaraderie faded. it's natural for that to happen, but it left room for lots of negative voices to ring louder than others. people started policing others for their expressions of grief or lack thereof. people who identified as shawols were telling others that they weren't entitled to grieve if they hadn't been fans of him before his death. people used jonghyun's name to push agendas that were problematic at best and downright harmful at worst. the ways people talked to each other changed. there was no more delicacy, at least not in the louder voices. when i noticed a lot of these things, i felt myself pulling away even more. because i was immersed in other groups, i spoke less about shinee. i still blogged quietly, but i didn't feel like i could really participate in the fandom anymore, because i wanted to compartmentalize and go back to the reasons why i got into kpop in the first place, which at the time seemed separate from shinee. i wanted to feel warm again, and all of the fighting and discourse was stripping that away, in my view. i didn't identify with single-fandom shawols that viewed them as their everything because i hadn't been around for years and years, as i said, i only got into all of this in early 2016, so it wasn't as embedded in my life and my understanding of my relationships and choices as it was for others. i also didn't identify with people who weren't shawols, the "i'm not a shawol, but..." mentality, because i still very much felt that i was a shawol at heart. i kept drifting back and forth between feeling like i had a place and was content in my understanding of what shinee was to me and then just being really confused, and sometimes i felt alone and hurt. when onew, key, minho, and taemin went ahead with the tokyo dome concerts, i had mixed feelings. i wanted them to take time to rest and grieve, i wanted them to be happy above everything, but i knew there was nothing i could do to help them in that regard, and a really selfish part of me wanted them to keep making music because i thought "i can't lose this too." i live-streamed the audio for the first night, and it was terrible, but also really good for me, because i finally felt like a shawol again. i finally felt like i was part of that community, and i could really grieve. this next paragraph is a bit of an aside, but the concerns i express here directly play into my discussion of shinee later, so please read it too: after monsta x tickets went on sale a few months ago, i saw a lot of worrying stuff that really bothered me. ticketing was a nightmare, and a lot of monbebes who really loved monsta x weren't able to get the tickets they wanted or couldn't get tickets at all. some people lashed out at those who had gotten tickets, saying things like "i only stan monsta x" or "they're everything to me" or "i've been here since debut" and then insinuating or even downright stating that the people who didn't meet those criteria or were multifandom didn't deserve tickets. this was a really ugly side of the monsta x fandom that i'd never really seen before, and it made me feel ostracized, because i considered myself multifandom and had gotten a good ticket to the concert. this blew over, as most things do, but i think that this mentality has really tarnished the fandom, and i still see hints of it every now and then, and i wish that it wasn't there. as rumors of a shinee comeback spread, i felt mixed feelings again. i saw more hate than i'd ever seen on my dash, between fandoms and between shawols. misunderstandings that grew out of proportion, people who felt like they couldn't voice anything without being attacked, whether that be happiness that shinee was continuing or sadness that they were going to release music for the first time without jonghyun. i want to take this time to say that no matter what your feelings are regarding shinee's comeback, they are valid because they are yours. personally, i'm excited, but again i am also absolutely devastated. all of my happiness is two fold with sadness, and i say that as someone who has only been a fan through 2 comebacks, so i can't imagine what its like for others, and i won't try to speak for you. for me, this comeback has been a weird mix of excitement and disappointment. i'm excited because it seems like onew, key, minho, and taemin are releasing music because they want to do it. i'm disappointed because it feels like jonghyun is being left behind. i don't know if there's any way to not feel like this. some of this has to do with sm removing his memorial. some of this has to do with the ambiguity surrounding the album and whether or not he had an influence on or part in it.... ....some of this disappointment has to do with some of the behavior i'm seeing from shawols. tumblr has a kind of discourse surrounding it where sarcasm runs amok and softness is often taboo. but i am going to take the time to make a few things clear, as far as my opinions are concerned. i think it is TOTALLY okay to only stan shinee. that is your choice. you are in control of your likes and dislikes, your loves and hates. however, it is NOT okay to belittle other people for calling themselves shawols while also stanning other groups. i haven't seen much of this in a blunt sense on my dash, but i have seen hints at exclusionism (that's not a word, but roll with it), that i find really terrible, because it's ostracizing and belittling to people who really love shinee and want to support them. i think it is TOTALLY okay to say that you don't like _____'s music or even that you hate it, but to insinuate that a person who likes that group/it's music is unintelligent because they like it is NOT okay. people are allowed to like what they like, and you need to be respectful of that. i think it is TOTALLY okay to point out the realities of why you don't like a group, like their music, or don't like their negative fans, but i don't think it's okay to ball up everyone in the same group and say "____ fandom needs to shut up" or "you aren't a shawol so you aren't valid." this is really harmful for a lot of reasons. some i can't really express in words right now, but please know that these are toxic viewpoints in my opinion, and i want you to think about your words and their consequences before you say something like this. i would like to note that a lot of these problems i'm addressing come after loads of bullshit from anons and other people who have insulted shawols, belittled them, and driven them to anger. i understand why it's frustrating, and i know i've said problematic things when i was feeling attacked, too. i have to ask though, why are we fighting fire with fire? you may feel like you've been stripped of your ownership to this one thing you find comfort in, but i ask you, please don't push people away so you can cling to it harder. there's enough room for everyone. this isn't finite. i can't speak for jonghyun, but i can speak to the feelings i had after he died, the things i saw on this website that were so overwhelmingly comforting during a time when it felt like nothing mattered. that the only thing to do was find a way out. i really want shawols to think about how they are interacting, not only with other fandoms, but with each other. don't do the same things you criticize other people for. the similar, although different breed of elitism i saw after monsta x tickets were released and people said "you're not a real monbebe if...." has now been mirrored on my dash to statement like "you're not a real shawol if...." and i'm disappointed and sad to see it. again, i want to reiterate that it's definitely permissible to stan one group. to identify only as a shawol and nothing else. just please do that with words of love and respect. i want to say a lot more, and i feel like what i've said didn't come out the way i wanted it to, but i'm going to wrap this up now, and hope that i don't come across too terribly. i just want people to be kind to each other, and to be inclusive. maybe that's naive of me, but i really wish for it, and i'm not ashamed of that. think about the reasons you came here in the first place. they're positive, right? remember that there are a lot of people here who are new to this, and they need to see that there's good here. please be kind always. - logan
