oh, it would totally turn into a double date. i think kara would probably be more jealous. i haven’t finished secret bridesmaids’ business yet, but i know saskia is much more used to living with jealousy and unrequited feelings than kara is, so she’d be able to play it pretty cool and not get worked up. kara, though? kara would be a jealous mess (think: that one time she showed up unannounced and crashed lena’s date with jack). it would get more and more obvious as the night went on that the couples are paired up wrong. sadie would be inexplicably drawn to saskia, and kara and lena would be wrapped up in each other pretty quickly, so by the end of the night they would’ve ended up switching things up and everyone would end up happy.

You know, it's amazing, how even after the show ended (3 years already, wow) this magic, that Katie and Melissa have created between their characters has not been forgotten. Even more - the amount of fics and art is growing day by day, resulting in the appearance of a completely new ship between two characters, who aren't even in the same show.
