This Hogmanay Sebastian and Blaine have travelled back to the Smythe family home in Paris to bring in 2023 in style. Bas' big Sister Aurélie is looking after their adorable Corgi puppies Harry and new arrival Boq, and Bas and Blaine are watching the Champs-Elysées illuminations, before getting ready for Dinner at the Royal Monceau Raffles followed by dancing their feet off at their New Year's Eve 2023 party.

This blog is really focused on Klaine and CC fics. There are over 17k Klaine fics posted on AO3 and 25k on FF.net. Even with cross-posting, this keeps us pretty busy!

@seblainedaily is an active Tumblr account and runs a fic challenges for Seblaine (Sebastian and Blaine). You will need to read the summaries and tags for stories posted to determine if they are friendly towards other ships/characters.

I'm not aware of an active Tumblr account for Kurtbastian fics (Sebastian and Kurt).

AO3 has a pretty powerful search tool. For example, I got 52 results when I search for completed fics with a Kurt Hummel/Sebastian Smythe relationship and also tagged as Blaine friendly. You could edit the search for any other relationship you want. Remember to read the summaries and tags to make sure they are the sort of fics you are looking for.

I also suggest you browse our dating some else and polyamorous tags in the library.

3.are you typically too warm or too cold? Too cold, I actually run a couple degrees less than normal.

4.what were you doing 45 minutes ago? At work.

5.what’s your favorite candy bar? KitKat.

6.have you ever been to a professional sports game? Nopes, not a sports person.

7.what is the last thing you said out loud? No, I was too busy slamming on the brakes. (Some genius almost caused a wreck.)

8.what is your favorite ice cream? Batman. Yes it’s real. It’s the bomb dot com.

9.what was the last thing you had to drink? Water

10.do you like your wallet? Yes, more than I thought I would. It’s a Star Wars paper wallet from a Loot crate my brother got a while ago.

13.what’s the last sporting event you watched?  I watched baseball on the TV for like 5 minutes at my uncle’s house 2-ish years ago.

16.ever been camping? Not recently. I used to go all the time as a kid, but my parents got too old for tents.

17.do you take vitamins? Yes, right now only an iron supplement, because I didn’t have a job until recently. I usually also take a multivitamin and a skin vitamin.

18.do you regularly attend a place of worship? Not anymore. I grew up in church, but after moving to a new town I stopped going. Just too early in the afternoon and finding an LGBT friendly one seemed like a struggle. I did find a website that shows which churches in your area are LGBTQIA friendly. So once the pandemic clears up, I’ll check them out.

19.do you have a tan? Weirdly, yes. Going outside for less than two hours a week is enough to get 3-4 shades darker. Usually I’m a vampire.

20. do you prefer Chinese or pizza? oof, asking the hard questions. Pizza, I have it more.

21.do you drink your soda through a straw? Typically, only when I’m wearing lipstick or something.

22.what color socks do you usually wear? Winter socks. I get cold and wear ankle braces, so I need taller ones.

23.do you ever drive above the speed limit? Usually about 5 over.

24.what terrifies you? HAHAHAHA lots of things. Letting my mental health stuff rule my life more than it already does, I suppose is the biggest one.

26.what chore do you hate most? Cleaning the tub, but I find all of them super tedious.

Hey, Seblainers! Helllllo, everyone else! Bliadhna Mhath Ùr (Happy New Year!) from here in Scotland!

Those following the 'Verse of my ongoing Seblaine fic Nine... will know that Sebastian and Blaine got married on 8th November 2021 - exactly 10 years to the day they first met, and while we're nowhere NEAR that yet in the fic, as you can see, Seblaine are spending their first New Year as a married couple in Bas' beloved home - Paris.

Harry, Blaine’s Pomeranian puppy that Bas gave him last Christmas, who's a year old now, and has travelled with them to France, is currently snuggled up and being spoiled rotten by Sebastian’s older sister Aurélie, so our beautiful boys are taking advantage of the rare (relative) peace to have a quiet moment just taking in the clear view they have of the fireworks at the Eiffel Tower from the garden of Bas' family home, and toasting 2022 and each other.

Their Nine... journey will continue very soon, but in the meantime, this is me thanking everyone who has liked and reblogged my graphics or my writing, and who has supported me in the last year, which has been incredibly difficult for us all.
