7 Signs You Need a Heat Pump Replacement
Tumblr media
Keeping your heat pump well-maintained is essential to ensure smooth running of the system in the long run. There are some signs that your heat pump may need to be replaced including it being over 10 years old, making strange noises, not heating or cooling effectively, and needing frequent repairs. If you notice any of these signs, it's essential to have a professional HVAC technician inspect your system to determine if it needs repair or replacement.
It's also worth considering the energy efficiency of your current heat pump and whether a newer, more efficient model could save you money on your energy bills in the long run. If you decide to replace your heat pump, it's important to work with a reputable HVAC contractor who can help you choose the right size and model for your home and ensure proper installation with a seamless process.
All right! In this blog post, we will talk about the top 7 signs you need a heat pump replacement.
So, let’s get started!
7 Signs You Need a Heat Pump Replacement
Here are the top 7 signs that indicate you need a heat pump replacement or installation;
1. Poor Indoor Air Quality
Heat pumps are ideal for improving the overall quality of indoor air. The regular humidity in your home, the stale air, or the fact that you are always sneezing are signs that the air isn't properly circulated. Asthma sufferers, allergy sufferers, and others who have breathing problems may find this particularly distressing.
If your heat pump compromises the quality of your air, we recommend that you replace it. Heat pump add-ons such as humidifiers and filters may help improve the air quality if your system is relatively new and you are still experiencing problems. Hire an experienced Seattle HVAC technician if you notice poor air quality.
2. Lifespan
The lifespan of a heat pump depends on the quality of the equipment, how frequently it's used, and how well-insulated your home is. It's worth considering installing a heat pump if your current unit is over 10 years old based on a government-backed label for energy efficiency. Even if the system doesn't seem like it's about to break down, it could be more cost-effective to replace it.
While 10 years is a good rule of thumb, it's best to have an HVAC professional inspect your system regularly to determine when a new heat pump would be beneficial.
3. Strange Noise
It can be difficult to determine whether a new fan, complete cleaning, or compressor replacement is necessary for your system. Despite their efforts to keep you cool, heat pumps usually make minimal noise. When it begins making banging, grinding, or screeching noises regularly, skilled Seattle HVAC technicians can diagnose the problem more efficiently.
Before you consider heat pump replacement, it’s best to call a reliable HVAC professional to assess and inspect the system thoroughly and then take the decision accordingly.
4. Sudden Strike in Energy Bill
If you notice a sudden increase in your utility bills, it might be an indication of an issue with your heat pump. It's important to conduct an audit to determine the cause of the problem before considering purchasing a new unit. The issue could be related to the heat pump not using energy efficiently or overworking due to a dirty filter.
Therefore, it's recommended to try changing the filter first. If that doesn't solve the issue, scheduling an inspection and a heat pump installation consultation is advised. If you are a Seattle resident experiencing sudden high energy bills, consulting with a reputed HVAC contractor near me can help.
5. Low Performance
Heat pumps are among the most energy-efficient systems on the market. It is therefore possible that you may be paying for energy you would not be using if you upgraded your heat pump. Furthermore, it is not able to reach your desired temperature and has uneven cooling.
If your heat pump is not able to keep the desired temperature? It’s a clear sign your heat pump has reached its lifespan.
Hire an expert HVAC technician to identify the root of the problem. Continuing to have problems with your unit after repairs won't make you feel comfortable, so install a new one, if you don't feel comfortable with your old unit.
6. Consistently Running Heat Pump
It's important to keep an eye on your heat pump and make sure it's functioning properly. Ideally, it should only run until the thermostat indicates the desired temperature has been reached, and then it should shut off. However, if you notice that the unit is running constantly, it could indicate a bad thermostat or that the heat pump needs to be replaced.
It's always a good idea to have a professional take a look and diagnose the issue to make sure everything is working as it should be.
7. Increase Cost of Repair
Repairs are more expensive than replacements, but there is a rule of thumb in the HVAC industry that can help you decide between the two. The best time to replace your HVAC system is if heating repairs cost more than half that of replacement.
Whether you need repairs or maintenance, HVAC technicians at Seattle Plumbing, Sewer, Septic, Electrical, Heating & Air will walk you through the whole process in detail and provide the best recommendations on HVAC repairs and maintenance.
Bottom Line
Have an HVAC specialist examine your heat pump if you are experiencing any of these problems. Furthermore, it is imperative to hire a skilled and experienced HVAC technician from a reputable HVAC company so that they can repair, maintain, or replace all heating and cooling units with precision and quality.
However, it's still a good idea to check your heat pump regularly, even if it's working fine. HVAC Professionals in Seattle, WA, can spot potential problems before they become serious, which can result in a replacement heat pump being installed sooner than anticipated.
If you are in need of heat pump repair, replacement, or installation near Seattle, WA, and its surrounding area, look no further than Seattle Plumbing, Sewer, Septic, Electrical, Heating, & Air! Schedule your heat pump installation with our Seattle experts today!

Extended Wives
Sorry this took forever, lifes been kicking my butt and keeping me busy unfortunately so i havent ben able to have time to write, back to it tho!
Husk's Partner
Tumblr media
To start with these two sour pusses they meet in a bar a year or two before WW2. (Husk gives me soldier vides and him enlisting to the Korean war didn't make sense, world war 2 however? made a bit more sense to me.)
The reason that they actually got married was because of their families actually. Brennan Feidlimid McKabe and Cian Aodhan O'Flaherty were both unmarried and seemed to have no plans to get with anyone anytime soon. What were their poor Irish immigrant families to do! Husk, once Cian, was raised by his immigrant grandfather and Brennans mother had been pregnant with her on the ride over to the states, basically giving birth once they'd touched American soil.
While it had been arranged Bren and Husk actually got along very well. She never really minded his heavy drinking, the most he did to her is make a pass at her and well that's more then most husbands. She didn't mind the drunken sex as Husk was a giving lover.
However she never fully put down her walls. Probably because of her parents relationship, but she never tried to get to know Husk. He was a decent man after all, but she just...was waiting for him to. Do something.
They never talked about it and though it wasn't spoken of, it was certainly the underling cause of many fights between them. The the whole world blew up in a war again, thing was they both were only teens when the first world war had broken out. They'd called it The Great War growing up thinking it'd be the only one. It was also the reason Bren's da had...changed.
Husk wanted to enlist, and while Bren could see why it was good or him to do so. She was afraid. She didn't want him to come back different like her dad did, she didn't want to finally see what kind of monster will emerge from this.
Brennan sat down with him and told him straight that if he comes home he can drink himself to oblivion but don’t become mean without cause. Don’t be cruel to her or anyone else.
Husk had kissed her hands and cheeks promising to not be terribly changed and to come home. She didn’t really expect him to keep either of those promises, war is a hard thing to come back from after all.
Bren let him make love to them on that couch after that conversation. Then they did it again because well, she didn’t really expect him to be loyal to her and her alone while deployed. Did tell him she’d take a lover herself to pass the time as well.
Of course a fat lie, she…liked him. It wasn’t long after he left for basic training and then off to a platoon or unit.
Brennan went to work of course, as many women did. Liked the hard work and building up a sweat, liked the camaraderie that comes from being around like minded women.
I see them having lived near Seattle, Washington, so Bren worked on Boeing B-17s!
Took having to leave the work force hard, but didn’t try to make them make her stay. Went home with her newly learned skill and don’t just mean drilling.
House broke down a few times so she rolled up her sleeves, went to the library to get a Plumbing for Dummies book (probably didn’t exist but whatever was the equivalent) and went to work fixing. Helped some of the wives in the neighborhood as well.
Then the war ended, ladies needed to hand back the jobs and go back to their lives with their husbands. Bren was looking forward to Husk being home, but she had liked working and was one of the many disappointed to have to leave it.
Husk had changed, many men had. Thankfully he didn't become violent but they both became poorer then they'd ever been their entire lives.
Drinking had always been Husk's vice but when money started going missing Brennan looked into where it could be going. Thinking at the time his infidelity had crossed the ocean back with him. That's when she learned of his newer vice, gambling.
Introduced to him while on leave overseas, Husk grew a taste for the highs of it. The money didn't hurt either when he was on a hot streak. But the lows hit hard when you don't have the consistent funds to keep that up. And they had both been raised poor, many men had fallen into similar habits so Brennan knew the signs.
They had ignored them however, a mistake on their part really. They should have talked with him. Done something before it got real bad! But they didn't. And then that night happened....
On a foggy spring night in the 1950's Husk had went out gambling.
He had come in like a hurricane, sweeping through the house grabbing some clothes and packing frantically. She remember waking up due to the noise and groggily asking whats wrong.
He hadn't said anything back, that is what got her attention. Sitting up she'd asked all kinds of questions, but he didn't say anything. Asked him why, what she did, where is he going, and more she can't recall.
Followed him out of their room down the hall and to the front door. It's there he finally spoke, but it wasn't a answer to any of her questions.
"I wish I had more time to love you better. You deserve that but all you got was my love. I'll probably lose that too when I leave..." Then he had kissed them as they had been too confused to think of anything to say. They'd cried like they were some teenager, snot and tears with those heavy sobs.
It was the last the saw of him, but they heard what happened years later....

Poison Ivy #19-21
Tumblr media
Checking in with the Poison Ivy comic series again, we’ve reached a set of trio issues #19-21 forming “Origin of Species”. This writer G. Willow Wilson’s efforts in marrying together the contributions by many creatives over decades who have taken on the matter of Poison Ivy’s origins. Which if that sounds ambitious, you’d be right.
In media Ivy’s origins have often been recounted either by others or herself. However, because of the developments that led here in previous issues, this secret origin is too for all ones knows a last testament. With that frame dare readers hope for a more sapient, innermost version?
To begin issue #19 sees Pamela Isley off to a Seattle university as an undergraduate in a plant biochemistry program fatefully headed by Dr. Jason Woodrue. Wanting to best her peers (leading botanists Alec and Linda Holland plus Philip Sylvain), entranced both by the work and Woodrue, falling for a sexual relationship with him among other manipulations. When the next round of funding for the experiments runs out, Pam makes her first foray into crime.
Tumblr media
Next for issue #20, as things with Pam and Woodrue continue to escalate, Wilson once more does not forget a relatively recent character in the schemes of things… Bella Garten.
Tumblr media
Her last appearance to this in a flashback in #2, it’s been several issues. So, let’s take a minute to discuss Bella.
As a fellow student and love interest, specializing in botany and genetics going on to earn a doctorate, Bella Garten or the The Gardener as she would become first appeared in Batman #107 in 2021 creation of writer James Tynion IV. Plus, part of the thread of story involving Poison Ivy during the Fear State event and into the past. The one-shot Batman Secret Files: The Gardener (written by Tynion and art by Christian Ward) was also included in the first collected edition of Poison Ivy. However, the file, another secret origin comic is less about Bella Garten and more an attempt to appeal to Batman to help Ivy (around the Tom King Everyone Loves Ivy period) running through decades of Ivy’s character (with adjustments). Part of the history there exposed, particularly certain actions of Gardener, is uncomfortably weird.
Tumblr media
Yet again an example of major violation done to Ivy by someone she trusted. The revelation resulting in a short confrontation between the two in Fear State Omega. (The issue also marking the end of Tynion’s Batman run with Art: Riccardo Federici, Christian Duce, Ryan Benjamin, Guillem March & Trevor Hairsine, Colorist: Chris Sotomayor and Letterer: Clayton Cowles). Where Ivy is having none of the presented defense.
Tumblr media
In sum a character that functions more as a plot point, another retcon while trying to put it all (back) together. Yet, coherency that has been needed. Despite the American superhero genre (in)famously being one where seemingly everything and nothing is canon, something still important. So too, the first ongoing series for Poison Ivy not just ought to but, does endeavor to plumb over 50 years of a character’s existence. While bringing what each creative uniquely can. It’s worth asking then if Bella is made more too under Willow’s writing.
Tumblr media
Wrapping up casting Ivy’s mind back, issue #21 arrives at the full Poison Ivy. Once again, becoming a human experiment (volunteering!) and transformation. An old life lost, the new leading to Gotham— yet for a unique green reason.
Tumblr media
As a woman with growing abilities, confidence in using them, the law is just an obstacle to justice. But of course, conflict and differences plus mistrust with Batman result with Ivy in and out of the terrible Arkham Asylum. This would be the early pre-Harley days too, even though the Ivy costume calls back to the influential BTAS.
Tumblr media
Then what can I say about the art I’ve haven’t already in other reviews. Jessica Fong continues to deliver pretty and pretty gross (body) horror main covers. (On the latter it took a while to prepare myself to read the previous issue #18. Though it’s not shocking that bodily autonomy, something Ivy’s origins raise too, makes the list of also current matters the series depicts.)
Tumblr media
Marcio Takara definitely has set a bar as the main artist for the series. I wish he was drawing every issue. Though nothing against the other artists who have so far done so. It’s just that I generally wish for a creative team to be able to remain consistent through a run. I’ve praised colorist Arif Prianto consistently too. On the other hand, since these installments are Ivy believing she’s dying and mired in her distant past, I’m surprised there isn’t more of a difference exhibited of that. Why not really experiment with the paneling, designs, and color palette. Just as key the letterer Hassan Otsmane-Elhaou can switch things up to good effect. Actually, if part of the team working on Poison Ivy had to change briefly maybe here was where to do that instead.
In the end these issues of the comic series offer an origin stressing the choices and chances. A Poison Ivy that refutes being pathologized, focuses less on victimization, and more of her own creation and missteps along the way. It’s interesting too, if not still poignant, to look back to the first few issues of Poison Ivy. In soon coming up on two years, the series has issue by issue after issue grown and been recognized as an Outstanding Comic Book by GLAAD. After reflecting on a new(ish) past it continues forward.

FULL-SERVICE MEN: BARBER
“HAVE a seat, bro.” The black man, built like a football player, gestured toward the cushioned bench against the wall. “I’m almost done with his haircut.”
Who’s this guy? Where’s Tony?
I closed the heavy glass door, which rang the bell above it, and went to take a seat.
The buzz-cut man resumed his work on a middle-aged white guy sitting in the shop’s only barber’s chair.
A small pole with red, white, and blue stripes spun on the upper left corner of the mirror.
Maybe Tony was sick and asked this guy to take care of his customers today.
At least the guy was hot. A welcomed change from seeing Tony’s fat ass whenever I come here.
The barber’s tight black wifebeater showed off his tattooed arms from shoulder to wrist. A thin gold necklace hung around his neck, contrasting his dark brown skin.
And, damn! The bulge in the front of his gray sweatpants was impressive.
While waiting my turn, I couldn’t help but stare at his crotch.
“Next.” the muscle-bound barber said.
I snapped out of my trance and got off the bench. “Oh, that’s me.”
“Have a seat. I’ll be right with you.” He shook the hair off the cape before going to the counter to process the other guy’s payment.
After sitting on the bulky barber’s chair, I looked at myself in the mirror and combed my fingers through my slick back hair.
At thirty-five, some gray has mixed with black. It stressed me out. But my wife loved it, especially the ones in my beard.
The bell on the door rang after the customer left.
“So, what can I do for you today?” The barber covered me with the black cape.
“A haircut and beard grooming. Look at this.” I opened my phone and showed him a picture. “That’s how Tony usually cuts my hair.”
“Are you a regular?” He started working on my hair.
“Yeah.” I sat still and looked at him in the mirror. “Where’s the fat bastard, anyway? Are you filling in for the day?”
“The shop’s mine now. He sold it to me.”
“Oh, I didn’t know. I haven’t been around for a while. That’s why I needed a haircut.”
“He wasn’t able to tell anyone because he needed to move to Seattle to take care of his sick father.” The barber offered his hand. “I’m Omar.”
I brought my hand out from under the cape and shook it. “Miguel.”
Omar resumed cutting my hair. “Is this just a regular haircut, or are you getting ready for a special occasion?”
“My wife and I are having dinner at Chef Dino’s. It’s our thirteenth wedding anniversary.”
“Fancy. Happy Anniversary, Bro. I hope my fiancee and I will last as long or longer.”
“Thanks, man. Have you two set a date?”
“Nothing definite yet. But we’re thinking most likely after the baby comes. She’s seven months pregnant.”
My phone vibrated inside my pocket.
I brought it out to see if it was my wife with last-minute instructions before I went home to get ready.
It was from Jason.
The preview of the message showed an eggplant and peach emoji.
My heart thumped inside my chest.
Before the straight barber saw, I put the phone back under the cape.
After our first encounter at the house, I had sex with the plumber multiple times. I would usually go to his place or sometimes to his office on the pretense of delivering plumbing supplies from my hardware store. His employees had no idea their boss fucked me from behind while bent over the desk.
The phone on the counter rang.
“Bro, I’ll be right back.”
“Go ahead, man.”
Omar walked away.
While he talked on the phone, I replied to Jason’s message: ‘I can’t. Dinner plans with my wife.’
‘Don’t you rather want to eat this?’
A picture of the dick I’ve been sucking for the past few weeks showed on the thread.
Shit!
My dick came alive inside my boxers.
I turned the phone over and looked toward Omar.
He lifted a finger and mouthed, “One sec.”
After giving him a thumbs up, I typed a reply: ‘I can’t. Anniversary.’
“Sorry about that, Bro.” Omar stood on my right, holding a beard clipper. “I don’t have a receptionist yet.”
I shoved my phone back into my pocket. “It’s okay, man. I know what it’s like when you’re understaffed.”
My phone vibrated again.
But I ignored it.
“You have your own business?”
“I own Chavez and Son.”
“That big hardware store near here?” He whistled.
While running the device through my beard, something soft and meaty pressed against my elbow.
My whole body tensed at the unexpected contact.
Blood rushed to my dick, tightening my pants.
Oh, my fucking god. Was that Omar’s dick?
The bulge in his sweatpants lifted off.
I relaxed and discreetly adjusted myself under the cape.
“Did you see the basketball game last night, Bro?” He asked.
Pretending nothing happened, I said, “It’s fucking crazy, man. I lost a bet with one of my buddies.”
Omar went to my left while talking about the awesome plays last night.
I grunted and nodded to whatever he said, distracted by the phantom pressure of his dick on my elbow.
Stop overthinking it. He didn’t do it on purpose. It was just an accident. “Are you okay?”
I snapped out of my thoughts and looked at him holding the beard trimmer. “Yeah, sorry. I just remembered something.”
“Don’t worry, Bro. All I need to do is shave the edges, then you can go home and get ready for your dinner with the missus.” He reclined the chair, making it almost horizontal, and went to the mirror.
I held onto the armrest in silence.
Omar returned with a small can of shaving cream and stood next to the chair, squeezing some on his fat fingers.
His massive bulge was inches from my face. An outline of his dick showed on the sweatpants.
Heat spread throughout my entire body, making my arousal more intense.
Good thing the cape hid my crotch, or he would have seen the teepee under it.
As he leaned over, his dick pressed on my arm and stayed there while applying the cream to my cheeks and neck.
My heart pumped faster, sending more blood into my raging dick.
I wanted to grab the straight barber’s meat and massage it. But instead, pushed my arms into his dick without making it too obvious.
Jolts of electricity traveled all over my body as more of the black man’s fat sausage touched my skin.
Closing my eyes, I gripped the chair tight and savored the feel of it, wishing it stayed on me longer.
Omar stepped away, taking his dick with him.
No! Don’t go.
I sagged on the chair and squeezed my hard-on under the cape while he couldn’t see.
He picked up a straight razor from the mirror, leaned over me, and started shaving the edges of my beard.
While trying to stay completely still, I avoided looking at his stubbled face.
The beefy black man moved closer to shave the other side of my neck, pressing his bulge against the back of my hand.
I gasped, and my whole body stiffened.
Oh, god.
“Are you okay?” He made eye contact before checking my neck. “It doesn’t look like I nicked you.”
“No, I’m okay. I was just surprised. That’s all.”
His dick stayed pressing on me as Omar resumed.
Sledgehammers pounded inside my chest.
My dick twitched, and precum leaked out, soaking my boxers.
Was he doing it on purpose? Does he want me to…? If I’m wrong, I’ll have to find a new barber when I leave the hospital.
Oh, fuck it! I’m doing it.
Slowly, I rubbed the back of my fingers against the meaty bulge.
Omar kept working, unfazed by my actions.
I continued but with more pressure.
“Miguel, if you tease the snake, it might get angry.”
Without moving my hand off his dick, I looked up at him.
My heart pumped a million times a minute.
“Can you handle the snake when it’s angry?”
“Y-yes.”
A smirk showed on his face. “Just let me finish this.”
I nodded.
Omar wiped off the excess foam with a towel when he finished.
My erection pushed against my pants like it would burst out like an alien from a movie.
He returned the chair to its upright position and removed the cape from me.
“What if customers come in?” I asked.
“Easy.” Omar went to lock the door.
While waiting in silence, I vibrated with excitement.
After pulling the blinds down, the muscular black man stood next to the chair.
I grabbed and massaged the sizeable bulge through the sweatpants.
He cocked his chin at the massive tent on my crotch. “Looks like someone wanted to make my snake angry this whole time.”
“You’re the one who’s been pressing his dick into me.”
“It’s because I knew you were a fag the moment you came in. And you’ve been staring at my crotch while waiting for your turn.”
“How did you…?
“The shop is full of mirrors. You think I wouldn’t notice the fag who keeps looking at my dick?”
Fuck! Am I that obvious when checking guys out? I need to be more careful.
“It’s a good thing you came in. With my fiancee pregnant, I need someone who can take care of my dick. You want to do it for me?”
“Oh, god, yes.”
“What are you waiting for?” Omar put both hands on his hips, showing off the muscular tattooed arms.
I shoved my hand inside his sweatpants and stroked him through his underwear.
“Look at you,” the straight barber scoffed. “Pretending to be straight by getting ready to celebrate your wedding anniversary with your wife. But right now, your hand is inside another man’s pants, holding his cock.”
“It’s a big cock, man. It’s not even hard yet.”
“You like big cocks?”
“Yeah.” I nodded.
“How about big black cocks?”
“Even better.” I inserted my fingers in the waistband of his sweatpants and pushed them down until they dropped to his ankle.
The shape of a meaty dick pointing down pushed the front of his white briefs.
I resumed stroking him through the cotton.
“Go ahead, fag. Show me how much you want it.”
I pulled the elastic and hooked it under his low-hanging balls.
A full bush of pubes surrounded the black, cut dick.
Using underhand, I wrapped my fingers around the fat shaft and jacked him off.
Omar pushed his briefs halfway down his thighs. “Yeah, that’s it. Make my dick hard.”
I leaned over the side of the chair, took his dick into my mouth, and started bobbing.
He gasped and gripped the hair behind my head.
While holding onto his thighs, I sucked the barber’s dick harder.
His dick grew between my lips.
“Motherfucker! Your mouth feels so good.” He pulled his wifebeater up and hooked it on his neck, revealing more tattoos on his ripped torso.
I produced more spit to make the blowjob wetter and smoother.
“You’re fucking talented. Better than my fiancee or any bitch I’ve been with. Have you sucked a lot of cocks before?”
“Let’s just say this is not the first cock I’ve sucked.” I resumed sucking while sliding a hand up and down his abs, feeling the contours of the solid muscles in my palm.
Omar’s hard dick filled my mouth.
“Where were you the past couple of months? I could’ve used this amazing mouth when I needed it.”
I held onto the base and stroked the spit-slicked shaft. “If I knew you would let me, I would have visited sooner, man.”
He put his dick back in my mouth. “Don’t worry. You can make up for it by coming here whenever I tell you. Do you want that?”
“Mm-hm,” I mumbled with his dick in my mouth.
“Whenever I don’t have a customer, come over and service me. I may even make you when I have customers so you can service them, too.”
Fuck!
I moaned at the thought of being passed around by different strangers.
Omar chuckled, “Someone likes the idea. Let’s see if I can make that happen.”
As I continued sucking, I jacked the bottom half for added stimulation.
“Fuck, I miss getting good blowjobs like this.”
I took him out of my mouth and slid my lips on the side of the shaft, from base to head.
“Get back on that dick.” He gripped my hair and made me suck him again. “Take it all.”
Adjusting my mouth, I tried to take more.
With his hand behind my head, he pulled me into his crotch, burying his meat deeper.
The head hit the back of my throat, activating my gag reflex.
But instead of pulling away, I took more until it went down my esophagus.
A hand touched my neck. “Damn! I can feel my dick stretching your throat.”
While the big black cock plugged my airway, I looked up at him.
“Such a talented cocksucker.” Omar petted my head. “From now on, I’ll feed you my dick every chance.”
I pulled away to catch my breath and wiped my mouth with the back of my hand.
He pushed his briefs down to the ankles, stepped out of his sweatpants and shoes, and stood in front of the chair. His big black cock pointed up at an angle like a flag pole on the side of a building.
I wrapped my hand around it and stroked it.
Precum collected at the tip.
“Look at what you did to my cock, you fag. It’s leaking.” Omar swiped the clear liquid with a finger and shoved it between my lips.
I sucked the sticky man-juice off his fat finger.
He pulled it out and pointed to his meat. “Clean that up.”
Leaning forward, I sucked his leaking dick into my mouth.
More of the salty nectar burst inside my mouth.
“Fuck!” Omar leaned against the mirror’s counter.
I held the dick at the base and swirled my tongue around the head.
He gripped the counter tighter.
As my tongue ran the sides of the shaft, I slid my hand up his muscular torso until it reached his nipples.
“Yes, play with them.”
After taking the dick back in my mouth, I rubbed the erect nubs between my fingers.
Omar thrust his hips, burying his dick in my throat with each bob. “This mouth is the best. I wonder if the other end feels good, too. Do you get fucked?”
“Mm-hm.”
He pulled out. A long rope of spit stretched from his dick to my mouth. “Take your clothes off. I’m gonna fuck that pussy.”
I got off the chair and removed my clothes.
Omar turned me around, facing the mirror, and bent me at the waist.
I grabbed the counter and looked at him in the mirror. “Do you have lube?”
“We can use this.” He grabbed the bottle of beard oil in front of me.
“That would be better than nothing.”
After putting some on his fat finger, he pressed it against my hole and pushed in, stretching me open.
I shut my eyes at the intrusion.
The digit started slowly moving in and out. “I’ve never fucked a man’s pussy before. Can you take my big black cock, fag?”
“Yes.” I nodded. “Just loosen me up first.”
Another finger went in.
“I bet I’m not the first black man you’ve had.”
“No.”
“You’re such a fucking slut for cock.”
Once he had three fingers fucking me, he pulled out and put some beard oil on his dick.
I looked at him behind my shoulder. “Please, put that big black cock inside me, man.”
“Don’t worry. I’m gonna stuff your pussy good.” Omar slapped my ass cheek and pushed the head through my hole.
“Fuck! That’s a big cock.” I gripped the counter.
His dick stretched my anal ring with each inch.
“You’re so fucking tight!”
“Tighter than your fiancee’s?” I asked.
“Tighter than any bitch I fucked.” He put one hand on my hip and pushed his length further in.
“Loosen it up with that big black cock. Wreck it until I walk funny while taking my wife to dinner later.”
Omar growled and started fucking slowly.
I wrapped my fingers around my dick and stroked myself to match his pace. “Yes, keep going. Fuck my pussy, man.”
“Look at you.” He grabbed onto my shoulder and fucked into me faster. “Trying to fool people you’re straight and macho, but what you really are is a faggot who wants real men to use your pussy. Am I right?”
“Yes.”
“Say it. I want to hear you say what you really are.”
“I’m a faggot who wants real men to use my pussy.”
Omar fucked me harder and faster until his dick bottomed out inside me. He would pull until only the head remained and slam the whole thing into me in one go.
I braced myself on the counter.
The slapping of flesh, mixed with my whimpers and his grunts, filled the barbershop.
He pulled out. “Get up on the chair and stick that ass out.”
I climbed up and knelt, facing the backrest, arching my back to present my gaping hole to the straight barber.
“You have the best pussy ever.” Omar stabbed his big black cock back inside me and started fucking again. “I can’t believe I’ve never had it before.”
“It’s yours now, man. Fuck it anytime you want. You can use me as your cumdump even after your fiancee gives birth.”
The chair shook with each thrust.
I grabbed on to keep myself from falling over.
At this angle, his dick rubbed against my prostate.
“Oh, shit! Keep fucking me right there.”
Omar bent forward, pressing his chest against my back, and grabbed my shoulder while pounding me from behind.
“Please, you’re getting me close.”
“Did you let Tony fuck your pussy like this, too? Admit it. The fat bastard has been fucking your ass for a long time.”
“No, he never fucked me.”
“I bet you wished he did,” he whispered in my ear.
“Oh, god, yes. I fantasized about him pinning me down with his massive body, helpless while getting fucked. Shit, I’m cumming!”
My dick exploded, shooting cum on the leather backrest and the seat until nothing more came out.
“Fuck, I’m gonna shoot, too.” He shoved every inch of his black cock inside me.
“Breed me, man. Make me go to my anniversary dinner with your load inside me. Mark me as yours.”
“Ah! Here it comes.” Omar let go, injecting his creamy load inside me with each slam of his hips. “Take it all.”
After draining his balls into me, he stopped thrusting but kept it inside me.
“That was fucking intense,” he said.
Our sweaty bodies pressed together while we caught our breaths.
Once we recovered, Omar pulled out and gave me the towel he used to wipe the shaving cream off my face.
I cleaned my jizz off the chair with it.
After putting our clothes back on, I paid him and walked toward the door. I need to go home and get ready for my anniversary dinner.
“Hey, Miguel.”
I looked behind me after grabbing the handle.
“If you need my services again, you know where to find me.” Omar grabbed his crotch and winked.
Miguel’s encounters will continue…

Wayfaring — Intermezzo (Allos Documents)
Tumblr media
Intermezzo is the second album by Wayfaring, a boundary-crossing jazz duo that originally formed in Chicago. The combo emulates the city’s best traditions by simultaneously showing their roots and not sounding much like any other band from Chicago, or anywhere else for that matter. It comprises James Falzone on clarinet, penny whistles and shruti box, and Katie Ernst on double bass and voice. While they were born in different decades, there are strong parallels in their aesthetic and professional pursuits. Both are educators, each has robust experience leading church ensembles, and they are both inclined to combine jazz with elements of classical and folk music. Additionally, they both students of poetry, from which they derive an attunement to spare, concentrated gestures. Since first convening in 2015, Ernst and Falzone have nurtured a partnership that’s survived both the latter’s departure for Seattle, where he is the academic dean at Cornish College of the Arts, and the pandemic.
The titular term, which is also the name of one of Ernst’s compositions, refers to a smaller piece of music situated between larger, related movements. Maybe it’s a humble acknowledgement Wayfaring’s place in each musician’s busy schedule? Or, since intermezzi often perform a connective function, perhaps it’s a way of noting how Wayfaring binds disparate elements into a cohesive musical whole. Falzone and Ernst can cover a lot of ground within a single tune. The inaugural strum of Ernst’s bass on the opening tune, “Bounce,” hints at the blues. But the ensuing string and clarinet figures dip and dart in close formation with chamber elegance and lived-in sense of swing.
The album doesn’t stay in one place emotionally, either. With its jaunty melody and springy rhythm, Jimmy Giuffre’s “Gotta Dance” fully lives up to its name. But “Flow My Tears,” a lament of Elizabethan vintage, plumbs a desolate vein of grief. And Falzone and Ernst know how to extract maximum impact from a good murder ballad; their performance of “Who Put The Blood” imparts a gravity that does full justice to the lyric’s exacting analysis of the web of pain, loss and disruption that can radiate from one violent act. And scattered throughout the record are brief, numbered pieces entitled “Tanka” after the Japanese poetic form, that manifest the compositional minds that guide Wayfaring’s improvisations.

Seattle's Unification Church owned mansion sold – and will be demolished
Tumblr media
6601 Northeast Windermere Road, Seattle, WA 98105
The original Rolland Denny estate home in Seattle’s exclusive Windermere neighborhood has been sold. On the market since 2022, Loch Kelden was recently sold to developers for what real-estate sites say is $5.999.900.00, “pending feasibility.”
Preservationists could not nominate it as a city landmark because the state Supreme Court has exempted religious entities from landmark designation unless such owners support or seek it. Thus, demolition appears imminent.
This gem of Seattle history is nestled behind a curtain of trees: it's the 7,700-square-foot mansion that Rolland Denny, the first son of Seattle pioneer Arthur Denny, built in 1907.
Shortly after moving in, in 1908, Denny named his new domain "Lochkelden" — loch, meaning "lake" in Scottish; "Kel" for his wife, Alice Kellogg; and "Den" for Denny. Today, it's the only residence left in Seattle where one of the original pioneers lived.
Rolland Denny was an infant when Arthur Denny and the original pioneers arrived on Alki Beach in 1851. The Duwamish Tribe helped keep him alive by teaching his mother to feed him clam broth through the winter.
Like any 100-year-old institution worth its salt, the old Windermere mansion, as it's called, is not without intrigue.
In 1974, the Unification Church, a nontraditional church established by Sun Myung Moon in Korea in the 1940s, bought the property and its remaining 1.7 acres for $175,000.
Tumblr media
In 1977, a group of Windermere neighbors, "Save Our Neighborhood," brought a lawsuit against the new owners, questioning their right to use the residential property for religious and commercial ventures. The lawsuit, spurred partly by a popular condemnation of the church's mass marriages and recruitment techniques, was dropped in 1982.
A community feature is access to the waterfront/private beach.
While some neighbors remain uncomfortable with the Unification Church's hold on the property, others applaud the church's efforts to refurbish the house, which suffers from the inevitable internal decay of 100-year-old plumbing and wiring.
"There's so much to fix. I have so many projects. And it's an absolute bottomless pit for money," said Scott Dolfay twenty years ago. He is a carpenter and had been a church member since 1981. In 2001, he helped raise $180,000 from the church for maintenance purposes and estimates he and other church members have contributed over a million dollars more in personal cash, materials and volunteer work since then.
Tumblr media
Exploring the old mansion is like peeling back layers of time, he says: There's the false-backed cupboards in the master bedroom, that can be revealed using a pulley-system, rigged to the closet.

What Property Owners Should Know About Plumbing Maintenance
What people should know about plumbing?
Plumbing ensures safe drinking water for houses and commercial places. It brings comfort to our everyday living as we use it in functional areas such as the kitchen, and bathroom. An effective plumbing design will save you a lot of work, time, and money during its repair in the future.  Knowing the basics of your plumbing system as a homeowner gives you an understanding of the status of your house. Simple repairs and knowing how to identify serious problems as soon as possible will save you money in the long-run.
Read the full article here: What Property Owners Should Know About Plumbing Maintenance
What are the top plumbing maintenance tips?
Here are the things that you should consider to determine if your plumbing system just needs simple repairs and if a professional plumber is needed to fix complicated problems.
Identify the source of your water. Generally, water comes from either two sources: a well from a residential area or a private pump or city mainline. Rural residents that have water wells can utilize water via a pump and do not receive any water bill. On the other hand, people living in urban places get their supply of water through a city mainline and since water supply comes from the city, residents usually receive a monthly or quarterly water bill.
How’s the quality of water? For rural residents who use water wells, it is advised to have their water tested at least once per year because changes in supply and water treatment may happen. Additionally, the presence of soil shifts and agricultural processes near the well water supply may affect its quality.  However, people who are supplied by water in the city may or may not test their water quality.
Know where your water mainline. It usually resembles a wheel or a bar type lever. If it’s a wheel, turn it slowly until it stops, if it is a lever, push right or down until it stops. Knowing the location of the main water will not make you panic if ever a crisis occurs like water spewing everywhere in the house. To know that water is turned off, you can test by trying to run water in the sink. If water doesn’t run, then you’ll know you’re successful.
Find individual cut-off valves. Make sure to check the supply of your appliances that consume water: washing machines, dishwashers, toilets, and sinks. There’s a small handle on each appliance where the water supply goes. These individual valves will let you isolate a water supply if in case maintenance is needed while not shutting of the water supply of the entire house.
Check your water meter and bill regularly. This is especially true for residents supplied by the city mainline. Ask your water company to help you locate your water meter and how the water is metered. Regularly check the water bill each month, because sudden surges of water bill may probably be due to a water leak.
Test water pressure. You can ask the water company to test it for you or you can test it for yourself. You can buy water pressure tester in hardware or home improvement stores.
Check for hidden leaks. You can test water leaks by checking your water meter. Make sure when you test it, all indoor and outdoor spigots are turned off tightly. If there are spikes in your water meter, then suspect that there are leaks somewhere.
Know your water heater. Try to find the valves for water and for electric or gas supply for water heater. Water heaters typically last about 1012 years and it wears off over time by the presence of leaks
Locate sewer lines and septic system. It’s important to know where your utility lines run and what type of septic system you have.
Familiarize yourself with breaker panels. If you are going to fix it on your own, make sure to cut all power off the area you are about to fix

The cost of bathing when disabled
If you're a wheelchair user, everything—I mean *everything*—is more expensive: 3x, 5x, even 10x as pricey. So how much does it cost to install a bath in Seattle for a crip? More than a brand new Honda Odyssey. Let me explain why...
Weirdly, I couldn’t find a picture of the model we chose but this one is sort of similar How much does it cost to swap one bathtub for another? Guess. Imagine that all the plumbing will stay in the same place, you have a perfectly-working, almost-new hot water tank, and all parts are standard-size. Not much—or so you’d think. Obviously, here in Seattle, parts and (especially) labour and sales…
