sorry i didnt respond to your text i was busy thinking about the time ivan koubek was having a surprisingly nice dinner with his brother peter, perhaps even getting a little drunk unintentionally, and how in the course of this dinner peter admitted to ivan that he was still in love with his ex-girlfriend, at which point ivan, deeply struck with the sense of peter trusting him with this information, and almost intoxicated with the feeling of having something in common with his older brother, finally, and wanting to express his understanding of the complexity of romantic relationships, and, as mentioned earlier, perhaps a little drunk, accidentally admitted to peter that he was in a relationship with a woman fourteen years his senior who was still technically married to her ex-husband. to which peter said: do you think a normal woman. would want to hang around with you.
