So, I can't remember whose post it was, but I think someone has hinted that Callum could trap Aaravos in that cursed coin, sealing him in that realm between and death forever to solve the "what to do with the unkillable immortal" problem. And I think that's a genius solution. Aaravos in a coin? Twisted irony but deliciously scrumptious.

But crazy part is this.

IT IS DARK MAGIC. THE SPELL ITSELF.

And there are three mages who can perform it:

1. Claudia: for this outcome she has to betray Aaravos. Something she is unlikely to do unless she sees her own path and STOPS IDOLIZING VIREN AND AARAVOS (she will idolize him, be let down more corrupted roads abd terry will steer her clear maybe #wishlist). She definitely can joi the good side and stab him in the back and save the world in a cruel sense of irony.... or she might not. But this is an outcome i truly deeply want. Claudia's realization of who aaravos truly is.

2. Callum: he gas shown to break his morals to do the right thing before. Thus he can do it again. As saving the world is very very important. And if he realises this solution? Well hurray for the world but not for him.

3. Kppar: he's in a coin, but Rayla found that coin. They have one quasar diamond, maybe they'll break him out just to ask of his help or smth related to the jailor etc. And rayllum will be a lil disappointed that he gave up dark magic at first maybe, but then he will do the spell anyway for them? But thematically this is not a strong option. The weight has to be either callum or claudia because if the choose to do this act this means two very important outcomes for their character arcs.

WHY CLAUDIA?

Firstly Claudia, the whole "I have to see my dad again", exactly stepping I'm viren footsteps in his dream, the "I will do anything for family, however dangerous, however vile" all speak of one fatal flaw. Her idolisation. As i mentioned before. She had only viren to look upto as a kid, thus he became the one whose words she religiously followed and believed in hum her whole life, for other than viren she knows no truth. It had been the only stable thing in her life, everyone else has abandoned her. Left for themselves. Viren? Never. But now he did. And now she questions her belief.

Her father was everything, so him choosing different path and changing his fate... messed with that core belief. She needs to follow him to know. She needs to get answers from him cuz he is what she looks upto, her only truthful eye. And now that I aaravos. Who will give her answers. And most importantly, direction. The one thing she needs. And that's why she will now plave him in Viren's place, and his every word. Will. Be. Followed.

So to break that. Would mean a change to good. To the right side. A negative spiral fixed.

Thus she could coin him.

WHY CALLUM?

He has had a lil touch of darkness. And now he has rid that. He is free because of Kosmo's inner truth ritual.

He has done dark magic for Rayla, both times. With aaravos back, there could and would most definitely be an all states high ultimate fight with him. And maybe then, he will again have to face this. Rayla's life, or dark magic and save all this time. And the thing is he will choose dark magic.

Rayla has extracted the promise to sacrifice her for the greater good yes. But will he stick to it? If no... . IF all that rayllum talk in the ship and then the whole Moment of truth episode is foreshadowing, then he will do dark magic again.

If yes? Well, I'm sure my boy will not see Rayla die. IF HE WILL THAT MEANS HIS CHARACTER ARC ENDS AT A NEGATIVE NOTE EITHER WAY. YES OR NO. THATS WHY KOSMO SAW DARKNESS DIDN'T HE? IF CALLUM KEEPS THE PROMISE, DARK CHOICE FOR LOVE. DOESN'T KEEP, DARK CHOICE FOR SELF, FOREVER CORRUPTED BY DARKNESS, OVERWHELMED BY THE MAGIC AND POSSIBLY INJURING HIMSELF. BOTH ARE BAD OUTCOMES IN CALLUM'S CASE.

A long conclusion.

Sorry for caps locking but this is crucial people! Callum's arc will have a low note, claudia's a high note. Dragon prince has very complex things that it explores, a show like that might choose to take Callum down the dark path because the tragedy creates beauty. Terrible beauty. Sometimes life is like that. Cruel. A half moon. Bright and dark. Both combined. A dark deed for the greater good screams it thematically that both coexist. How did this become Yin Yang?

I think the dragon prince always had this planned for callum that his journey to learn all primals will push him to question dark magic itself and see it not as an agent of evil but a tool that is helpful in certain times but comes with a heavy price. And besides, it could also be said that kimdael arguably does dark magic even as an elf, so this practice is not only for humans.

He will resolve the while dark magic conundrum forever. Perhaps. So it makes sense for his arc to end in acceptance of inner darkness and doing the spell that seal aaravos' fate. One could say he faced his inner darkness in Finnegrin's Wake but no, the act gave him more fear in S6 that peace that comes from acceptance.

It has to he callum if he has to become the game changer and break the laws of magic in a way that leaves the world shocked.

OR

Ir has to be claudia if she has to fully realize herself and break free of the darkness with one final act.

I may not be the best theorist like @raayllum but this show and its story roles me up every time I think about it!

How realistic do you think would be to hope for a Loustat scene in the present day at the end of season 2? I know that in the books they only meet after Lestat tells his story but the show already changed some stuff and also season 3 is too far away! 😭

A while ago I was talking with @ifucouldfindme about the fact that I actually thought we would get the "Lestat-reveal" in S1 already - but that was before I knew that they'd split it. Which actually brings me back to saying: "I'm expecting them to show us Lestat at the end of the season" :))) Well, the next one.

Because Lestat had to have been "there" at some point to rerecord the song, and they will need to introduce him in modern Dubai for season 3... imho. (They could do it all via tapes etc and that could have appeal, also, but I really, really, really want the dynamic Armand-Louis-Lestat-Daniel. Like, PLEASE 😅)

As per Loustat specifically, it will depend on the setting of the modern part of the show.

I've said it before, I think we're likely in Merrick territory. IF that is where we are... then Louis and Lestat will meet. In a very... transformative scene, too. Literally.

Personally, for me, that would work perfectly as an ending to season 2, because it would reset their arcs with a, potentially (but hopefully much more errr... hot^^), similar scene to episode 1.

And, tbh, and I think you are d'accord here... but I would really love for Lestat to tell his story with Louis and Armand there. Just... imagine.

(And yes, season 3 is too far awayyyyy... *sniffs*)

Wishlist for season 6

I was tagged by @irishbelle34 (thanks for that 🤍) and that reminded me that I wanted to share my thoughts anyway. So here goes:

1. Agreed: We need to get to determine our sexuality at the beginning and then go from there. If I choose to be bi, that should open up otherwise closed routes, but if I choose to be straight, STOP FORCING GIRLS ON ME, OK? Thank you 🤌🏽

2. Again, I agree with @irishbelle34 , I would love to play as a male MC, although I won’t wish for that because I need a good storyline first and foremost - doesn't matter if I play as a girl or a boy, as long as the plot is compelling, the relationships we develop are meaningful and deep, and I can choose my personality!

3. As a girl who is straight, I would love to have a male best friend (like Seb in S3, who I wish was a LI, but whatever) who does NOT talk us into having feelings for him or pursuing him romantically. To spin it even further - I'd even like a friends-to-lovers trope IF it was done well, but I'd still want the option to choose not to have a relationship with him if I felt nothing for him. And he should react accordingly - please be heartbroken and hurt and avoid MC and don't act like it's no big deal!!!

4. I would LOVE it if there were more diverse character types than the ones we've had so far. Bring in another Oliver as an OG - a soft, kind-hearted man who is calm and not cracking 10 jokes a minute - and make the other girls take advantage of him if MC doesn’t pursue him until he falls for her and tells her so. Or bring in another Seb who is closed off and aloof and needs to be constantly pursued by you to warm up to you and open up to you. I don't just need guys chasing my MC, I'd like to do it myself if there are really good options.

5. I'd like characters with more interesting professions and/or backgrounds - like an ex-army officer with massive trauma who needs a softie to balance out his cold, hard personality, or a real rock star (like Bobby could have been!) who is used to girls throwing themselves at him and has a hard time trusting anyone.

Take Will, for example - he had such a complex and interesting personality, and I absolutely loved that.

6. I would love a stone-cold player (male), but who does a damn good job. No one sees through his facade and he could even make the MC fall for him without falling for her and just breaking her heart. OR he could EVENTUALLY fall for her too and tell her later about his original plan.

I love me some heartache and angst and drama, but it needs to be executed properly, not like season 5!

if anybody wants to do some casual "Putting MCC VODs On Archive Dot Org" here is a little wishlist

- technoblade! so far I have only found techno's mcc highlight videos saved on archive (in a large cache of all his videos); because of that there are no techno mcc vods on archive that I've found. he has 11 vods that need to go up (0/11)

- in general, because youtube streams appear less volatile than twitch vods, they tend to be saved to archive less. i would love someone to upload smallishbeans (3/26), ryguyrocky (6/15), and mcc pride 2021 (3/25) vods in particular, but any youtube stream is helpful

- the simmers are in pretty dire straits, probably because they're more on the outskirts of the mcyt community: vixella (0/9), kryticzeuz (2/19), james turner (0/8), drgluon (0/14)

- the captain himself has a very reliable vods channel but I'm a big believer in backups. he's currently at 7/32 - most of the needed vods are seasons 1 and 2

- niki nihachu has only 3/12 right now and she deserves better imo

- fwhip is sitting at a pretty 1/11 vods and could use a little help

- the admin stream is the single POV with the most vods! while im now uploading each new admin POV to archive, there's still two seasons' worth of noxcrew streams to put up there (6/37)

btw im not trying to force anybody to upload vods, this is more of a "hey if you want to do this, as of august 12 2023 there are 676 vods and 96 highlights videos that should be backed up to archive and heres a few places to start".

currently just over half of mcc's extant povs have been saved, which is HUGE!!, but theres still a long way to go - and it gets tricky as this is an ever-evolving event. i am like sisyphus, keeper of spreadsheets, eater of gigabytes, uploader of vods. mcc is my rock. but every little bit does help and go a long way and its appreciated. i see you and I appreciate you even if it's just one POV!

Do you have any predictions for season 6? I don’t mean stuff we as a fandom want to have necessarily. I mean stuff you think logically could happen. Thank you!

miraculous ladybug has been increasingly difficult to predict each season, as they've developed a habit of not following through with half the things they set up and introducing several new things that weren't built up in prior seasons. to be clear, this isn't necessarily a bad thing. the introduction of the alliance rings in season 5 was something pretty much no one predicted (and in fact prevented the "getting the miraculous back one by one" story most people anticipated), and i thought that was a good choice. there are other choices i didn't predict or like, but i don't want to go into those here.

however, there are some things i feel relatively confident predicting that may or may not be on my wishlist:

whatever it was that lila saw at the end, she's going to find out she's bitten off more than she can chew. this won't stop her from being an effective supervillain, but it'll come at a cost. miraculous has been pretty consistent with the idea that misusing a miraculous has consequences.

based on the official season 6 summary, i think my post finale prediction on lila befriending marinette with another identity will be true to some extent. she's almost certainly infiltrating the new school

the summary also mentions secrets between adrinette being a thing, but i'm gonna predict that for the first 10 or so episodes this just means identity shenanigans. once we've finally given up hope the show will ever address anything marinette has kept secret from the season 5 finale, it'll suddenly become relevant again

felix will officially be part of the main cast. like the previous bullet point, the show won't address any of his previous misdeeds until fandom has completely given up on it, and then suddenly it'll be relevant again

slightly bolder prediction: i don't think the show actually wants to juggle a superhero team of this size, so they'll find SOME reason to cut down the number of active heroes. i'm not sure what yet.

less than 6 hours to go, here’s some of the things I’m hoping for

— everyone lives, probably not realistic but I can hope

— diego and lila need to survive. these two must be protected at all costs 🫶

— GIVE ME A FIGHT SCENE TO AN ABBA SONG, IT IS A CRIME THAT THERE HASN’T BEEN ONE YET, I AM BEGGING 🙏🙏

— viktor and allison need to reconcile, and allison needs to take responsibility for her actions in season 3 as part of her redemption arc

— i lowkey think viktor deserves a villain moment. just a small one, as a treat!

— all loose ends need to be tied up: ben’s death, reggie’s home planet and his and abigail’s story, how marigold works, and whatever is going on with this new timeline (there’s definitely more i’m forgetting about, those are just the ones i can think of off the top of my head)

— I would love to see what happened to some of the other powered people born through marigold, and what their powers are like

— bring sloane back!!

— and finally, I would love to see the hargreeves dancing to a chappell roan song (this is more of a guilty pleasure wish), submitting femininomenon and pink pony club for your consideration

My Cobra Kai Season 6 wishlist

Cobra Husbands reconcile and drive off into the sunset to 'You're Still The One' by Shania Twain

Dutch is released from prison (he's shown from the back, but you can see the remaining Cobras waiting for him as he walks out of jail)

The baby is addressed once and only once, like this:

The show ends with someone being single and happy (I'm sick of them pairing literally everyone up. Especially since it always seems to happen once someone redeems themselves and "deserves happiness" 🙄)

And, of course, 'You're The Best Around' is used (preferably at the very end 🥺)

My House of the Dragon Wishlist now that Season 2 is almost here:

1. Aegon III and Viserys II age up- I want to see their storylines, especially Aegon’s escape on Stormcloud and him being at Rhaenyra’s side all through the final events of the Dance.

2. Expand Rhaenyra’s role in the war- I raise my eyebrow at the way the book just writes Rhaenyra off, insisting that she was too grief stricken to do anything and it was Jace and Daemon who made all the plans. That seems like exactly the kind of misogynistic propaganda that history would slander its first ruling queen with.

3. Show Aemond as the irredeemable piece of shit school shooter that he is- sick of people crying over and justifying this monster. He is hands down the single most evil Targaryen in the Dance and they damn well better show that. Leave nothing out, I want ALL of his atrocities in their full heinousness. Also show how pathetic he is as well, because he’s not just evil he is an incompetent moron on top of it.

4. Baela and Rhaena focus- Baela especially. These girls were done dirty in season 1, give them some damn character arcs.

5. Aegon III regency- this one is definitely not going to happen, but I would LOVE to see it. I would be happy just with Aegon and Viserys reunion though.

6. Jace and Cregan friendship- I don’t expect Brokeback Winterfell (as awesome as that would be) but I DO hope for an epic (if brief) bromance. Also please make it come full circle with Cregan and Aegon III, I want the ghost of Jacaerys Velaryon looming heavy over the Hour of the Wolf.

Alright I’m officially putting my hopes and desires out into the universe before season 8 of 9-1-1 drops.

Here’s my Buddie wishlist:

1. Gerard will strut in and throw some homophobic nonsense at Buck, who’ll go to Tommy for backup. Tommy, however, will shrug and tell him to keep his head down and go with it. Not satisfied, Buck will go to Hen and Chim for advice, only to find out Tommy was basically Gerard’s sidekick during their ‘Welcome to Hell’ phase. While Buck’s still digesting that betrayal, Eddie—bestest friend that he is—will not even hesitate to clock Gerard square in the nose as soon as he catches him giving Buck shit. And that, right there, will be the moment Buck realizes it’s time to kick Tommy to the curb. Thank you for your service in helping Buck step out of the closet Tommy, but your work here is done. 2. This absurd bee-nado will leave Buck and Eddie stuck together in the tiniest, most ridiculous closet-sized space imaginable, forced to stay put until the bees move on. Cue awkward shoulder-to-shoulder shuffling, lots of ‘accidental’ touching, and intense, soul-searching eye contact. Buck will try to lighten the mood with bee puns and facts the entire time, but they will inevitably delve into deep and meaningful conversation before they’re finally able to escape the un-bee-lievable amount of sexual tension buzzing around in one very small room. 🐝

3. Eddie, finally getting a taste of freedom that he’s never really had before, without Chris around, gets a bit… messy. He’s having fun, he’s drinking too much, sleeping too little, and racking up more one-night stands than a sailor on shore leave. One night, while he’s fairly tipsy, a guy hits on him, and Eddie, with the kind of confidence that only comes from tequila, thinks, ‘Why not?’ He gets close to actually hooking up with a dude before panic sets in, and he ends up frantically calling Buck to pick him up. Buck expresses his concern for his behaviour lately and Eddie’s freak out leads him to the hot priest the next day, who helps him work through his catholic guilt and sets him back on a healthier path forward.

4. There’s a near-kiss. There absolutely HAS to be a near-kiss. The kind where they’re both leaning in, eyes locked, and the universe seems to hold its breath… until, of course, the universe decides to interrupt with something frustratingly annoying —like a phone ringing, or the bell sounding, or… i dunno, a fucking bee! They jerk apart, Buck immediately spirals into panicked guilt mode, convinced he’s just doomed the most important friendship he’s ever had. Meanwhile, Eddie’s freaking out for a completely different reason—because he WANTED it. Now they’re both stumbling over themselves, tripping over awkward apologies, and trying to pretend that almost-kissing your best friend is totally normal behaviour.

5. The sexual tension finally boils over in the most intense way possible—a SEXY AF, MIND-BLOWINGLY PASSIONATE kiss up against Eddie’s kitchen counter. One minute they’re standing too close, talking too fast, arguing maybe, and the next they’re crashing into each other like it’s the answer to every question they’ve never dared ask. I will accept nothing less than hands on necks and fingers in hair and using hips for closer leverage and DESPERATE, NEEDY MOANING.

6. They try keep their new relationship a secret for a while. It’s new and fragile and in the very steamy, can’t-keep-their-hands-off-each-other, honeymoon phase and they’re trying desperately to stay in their bubble for a while longer. Which leads to a lot of stolen kisses and glances and smirks and quick-thinking to cover up suspicious moments that the team almost catch them out in - What do you mean reorganising the station storage closet together at 2am is weird?

7. Chris comes home right when Eddie decides it’s time to tell him. At first, Chris is apprehensive, because let’s face it—his dad’s track record with relationships isn’t exactly winning any awards. And losing Buck? Absolutely not on the table. But they hash it out (Chris asking the hard questions that make them squirm, but ultimately bring them closer together) all three of them vowing they’re in it for the long haul.
