Mirage and Horizons relationship is something I have felt so deeply since season 7. She lost her son.. and he’s lost his mom. And there’s this instant connection between both of them, it’s like yeah, we’re in deep shit, and we’ve both lost too, but what If you’re what I’ve been searching for this whole time. I wish they would elaborate more on this relationship, I think it would be so cute if Horizon adopted Mirage, and the fact he’s helping find Newton?? I know he’d be the best brother in the world. STOP IM GETTING SAD.. Mirage calling Horizon mom in the season 21 interactions … it’s all I’ve been thinking about … they both deserve the world, and they both deserve each other. I always wonder what horizon feels when Elliott accidentally calls him mom? because she doesn’t really say anything when he says it. I know her heart hurts for him, and I know she’s focused on Newton but I wanna know how she would react to it.

(Back in the distant era of the early 10s, my family got Netflix as a novelty. Nowadays streaming has consumed film and television like a rabid beast, but back then, my brother and I found a little British show called Primeval. Weaned on BBC nature documentaries from a young age, this was an exciting new spin on Walking with Dinosaurs, and we loved it.

The future predator is no question the most iconic creature of the series, a future bat that is both inspired by earlier spec evo and has gone on to inspire many other monster designs, including the earlier moorkutlot. It seems only fitting it be translated to Pathfinder.

By the way, I'm abandoning the proposed evolutionary history the later seasons provide- that these actually evolved to eat humans in a post-apocalyptic cityscape- and make them what I think is most obvious to me.)

Chiropterex are an aberrant species of roughly wolf-sized terrestrial bat, an arboreal, nocturnal apex predator of the islands it calls home, where no other land mammals have reached. They live in small family groups of about four to six members, typically consisting of a mated pair, a nest of about six children, a few children of previous years who stay around to help, and maybe one or two aunts or uncles. Typically, however, they hunt alone, feeding on seabirds and large moa-like ratites who evolved alongside them. These family groups keep in contact with each other using echolocation, and if a lone hunter runs into a struggle, it will call on the dissembled family to help.

Chiropterex are notorious man-eaters, and many a shipwrecked crew has met its end at a family of ravenous land bats. Many peoples of island cultures consider chiropterex to be evil spirits, and indeed there is at least one island where the magic of The Abyss has infected the local population of these predatory beasts.

Some outsiders have tried to domesticate chiropterex, or at the very least use them as weapons. They are a tempting subject of domestication; they are mobile, intelligent, fast-growing and have large clutch sizes, but all attempts so far have ended disastrously.

Why ESPN Should Fire Nate Saunders from His Editorial Position

Nate Saunders is a fucking joke actually. ESPN is becoming a fake news organization. This article gets ridiculous.

It’s unethical reporting to count Max beating Lewis in 21 because the literal FIA said that it shouldn’t have happened but they were unwilling to change it. They admitted to robbing Lewis themselves, so for an outside reporter to not even acknowledge it is patently unethical.

No matter how good Max is, this is not difficult to imagine at all actually. Verstappen is a Red Bull driver with 4 championships and his career isnt more impressive than Seb’s. Sebastian Vettel won fewer races in his 4 back to back Red Bull championships but thats because his were harder to win: the 2010 and 2012 championships were the most competitive seasons of F1s history. And for all that amazing prowess seb displayed and continued to display, he never actually won a championship again. Its so far from outlandish for max to never win again that Nate should be getting laughed out of the room just for that sentence.

It is not even a little difficult to find verstappen making unforced errors in his championship years. To quickly name a few off the top of my head without ising google:

GB 2021: Max should never have been going around Lewis on the outside anyway, because it was clear Lewis wouldnt have the traction necessary to hit the apex properly without running wide.

Monza 2021: he commits the classic “well he’ll just get out of my way just because i want him to” fallacy that he loves to commit and it costs him the race.

Mexico 2024: he drives lando off the track like hes been doing for years and finally gets a penalty for it…TWICE. At minimum that second one isn’t a forced error.
