To quickly note, I received this for free from Wishtrend for my honest review.

The cream contains 50 ml (1.69 oz) and has a very fruity scent.

The cream is an off white color. The texture of the cream is semi-thick and kind of heavy.

Blending out the cream, it leaves a slight film but feels very soothing and the fruity scent is very obvious. After blending it in, it absorbs quickly while leaving a tiny bit of a film and it’s also kind of sticky.

Recommended use is to use the cream every morning and evening at the last step of skincare by applying it to the center of the face, and gently spreading it to the outermost parts of the face with light tapping motions for better absorption. After using, I think this cream is extremely nourishing and I did notice some immediate brightness. I didn’t see any irritation and despite the fragrance. It is pretty strong so keep that in mind. It’s a great moisturizer for both day and night for very dry skin as it absorbs well and maintains a moist texture all day. The ingredients are extremely nourishing and gentle and this is also ideal if you have dull skin. I’d recommend this to anyone.

What I like: the scent of this moisturizer is amazing, I love anything fruity or citrusy. The ingredients are great and the texture and longevity of the cream is really great. It’s also ideal for both day and night and is probably great for any skin type. I liked how bright and healthy this made my skin look and how gentle it is. What I don’t like: nothing really.

Glow-centric Beauty Brands

Google searches pairing “glow” with “skin care” have increased exponentially, per Google Trend data. Here, author Nancy Trent explores glow-centric brands delivering the radiance shoppers are seeking. -Editor

A major sign of healthy skin is the natural glow, but some people have trouble achieving that radiant complexion. Sometimes it’s the increased stress level, lack of sleep and poor diet that negatively affect the skin, or maybe consumers are using bad products that are inflicting more harm than good. For shoppers seeking beauty tips and new, clean products to transform their skin from dull to glow, there are some great brands and resources.  

To get glowing skin it’s important that beauty consumers cleanse regularly, exfoliate, hydrate and moisturize. They can even incorporate a facial massage into their skin care routine. Exercise and a healthy diet help, too.

Consumers need to pay attention to what they’re putting into their body to see whether their skin is benefiting from it or not. Starting from the inside out is vital to understanding what the skin needs to be healthy and have that shine. It’s therefore helpful to eat antioxidant rich foods and drink a lot of water.  

Rethinking the Definition of Beauty

Autumn Kendrick, chief marketing and ideation officer at Gnusante Creations, believes glow is redefining beauty: “Glow is healthy individuals, embracing their natural gorgeous selves. When skin is hydrated and supported it has a natural radiance.”

Kendrick created a skin care soda called Ra.D8 that supports glowing and healthy skin. It’s a sparkling infusion of synergistic clinically proven ingredients to fight UV damage and support glowing skin.

Kendrick says, “More than just a collagen beverage, we also incorporate a tomato oil extract packed with carotenoids to help fight loss of collagen, a sea buckthorn extract supporting hydration and a source of omegas 3,6,7 and 9. With a can a day, Ra.D8 is reportedly an easy way to support better aging and skin health, with results in 28 days.

As noted, this beverage features a sustainable marine collagen complex with elastin peptides at the same ratio found in the skin. The collagen is targeted at skin benefits with as little as 2 g a day.

The beverage also has the aforementioned Lycored Lumenato tomato oil extract, which provides a great source of carotenoids and concentrations of phytofluene and phytoene, which rare to find in foods but fight UV damage, collagen loss, support skin hydration, tone, brightness and firmness.

Another brand with clinical-grade formulations for glowing skin is Clara’s New York. This company was launched back in 2018 by founder and CEO James Jo, a U.S. Marine veteran.

Aw thank you so much! I’ve been taking care of my skin loyally since I was 25, I go to sleep every day around 9-9:30pm for one, and drink nothing but water every day (& coffee but no soda and have recently pretty much minimized all alcohol intake).

 In the mornings I wash my face with Fresh’s Soy Face Wash, followed by Collagen Under Eye Patches that I wear for 25 minutes while making and eating breakfast. You can honestly get these on Amazon, Sephora, Ulta, etc (whatever your budget is). Before adding makeup, I apply Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask. Honestly I’m not sure if you are supposed to apply this before makeup or not, but I have found that it does keep  my makeup lasting longer and it does keep my skin from drying up. 

When I come home from work around mid afternoon, I wash my face with Summer Fridays Over Time Mask using my Clarisonic. After I shower, I use a Dermaroller around my face and neck. This took some time to get used to since you are essentially creating small holes in your skin to help it rejuvenate faster. After I do this I add some drops of Sunday Rileys C.E.O. Glow or Fresh’s Seaberry Moisturizing Face Oil. I mix between these two oils depending my mood. 

Before going to bed around 9:00pm, I dab a cotton swab with Fresh’s Kombucha Facial Treatment or Fresh’s Rose Deep Hydration Serum. Again, I dab between these two depending my mood. Around this time, I usually do a few massages on my face to help circulate blood flow around my cheekbones, forehead and jawline. After this I apply Fresh’s Rose Deep Hydration Facial Cream and go to bed.

I’m pretty loyal to Fresh’s Company in case you didn’t notice haha, I have found that as someone with somewhat oily nose and forehead but dry cheeks and jawline, this has been one of the best brands for me to use and I have yet to have any issues with their items. Summer Fridays and Sunday Riley are another two favorites I use but don’t have as much product from as I do from Fresh. I really hope this helps you out! Always remember that every’s facial skin is different, so you will need to experiment with what works well with your skin. Also another note, please always realize that aside from a pretty strict skin routine, I have also been getting fillers and botox since I was 26.

I received this product for free from Picky and Dr.Ceuracle Instagram in exchange for my honest review. Korean dermatologist brand that makes skincare products for acne prone skin. Here is a review on Dr.Ceuracle Purifine 80 Cream on my acne prone skin. Packaging: Purifine line has the green and white design on it. The box has English and Hangul information on it. Product comes in plastic jar with white cap. It will be really nice to have it in tube. It does have inner lid to protect the cream inside. The hold of the inner lid looks like leaf which is really cute. No given spatula but you can use the one you already have. Ingredients talk: Paraben free, sulfate free, alcohol free, Eu allergen free, silicone-not free, fungal-acne safe (malassezia)-not . The not fungal-acne safe ingredients are Glyceryl Stearate, Ethylhexyl Stearate, PEG-100 Stearate, Palmitic Acid, Stearic Acid, Polysorbate 20 and Sorbitan Isostearate. The main ingredient is 80% tea tree leaf extract with added tea tree oil that 0.01% . There are silicone, fatty alcohol and fatty acid in it. Seaberry, Thyme, summer lilac, Centella Asiatica for anti inflammatory and antioxidant. Contains essential oil such as lavender and tea tree oil. The rest the ingredients are for hydration, texture, and preservatives. From the ingredient list, it is made for people with combination and oily skin type and without sensitivity to essential oil since it contains tea tree oil and lavender. Texture: It has slighty tea tree scent. The soft opaque white cream goes on the skin without residue. It is very light and gives a matte look. Review: I don't have problem with tea tree so I find that it helps to prevent and reduce acne on my face. It is a nice light moisturiser that hydrate skin. It doesn't cause clogged pores or irritate my skin. As long there is no wound, it doesn't sting. oh my god yes. this is my summer routine. for reference i’ve always been combo oily, but now living in the northeast, my skin is only combo oily in the summer. it’s combo dry the rest of the year. this is my summer routine.

morning: cleanse with glossier milky jelly or kalamazoo from lush. follow up with REN ready steady glow tonic and spray whole face with eau roma water. while skin is still a little damp, i use the ordinary’s salicylic acid serum. let sit for ~10 minutes, 20 if i’m lucky. then a vitamin c serum, right now it’s ole henriksen truth serum. for eye cream i’m using ole henriksen banana bright eye creme. for moisturizer, i’m trying to find a perfect one. i’m bouncing back and forth between Youth to the People Kale + Spinach+ Hyaluronic Acid Superfood Cream and Peter Thomas Roth Water Drench Hyaluronic Cloud Cream. both are very good! for spf i’m using glossier’s sunscreen. it’s fine!

evening: if i haven’t worn makeup, i’ll cleanse with milky jelly or kalamazoo again. if i have, i use clinique’s take the day off balm to remove my makeup and follow up with origins checks and balances. follow up with REN ready steady glow tonic and eau roma water. while skin is still damp, mix of the ordinary’s buffet and a hyaluronic acid serum. follow with sunday riley luna night oil and good genes. top with an oil if needed (fresh seaberry oil or tarte’s maracuja) and moisturizer (one of the two mentioned above) and eye cream. 

for facials, i exfoliate twice a week (once chemical, once manual) and do at least one moisturizing sleeping mask a week. i use clay masks a couple times a month.

masks i use: the ordinary’s aha+bha mask (the one that looks like blood), korres aha mask, FAB oatmeal mask (a godsend in the winter),  laneige water sleeping mask, laneige pore waterclay mask, origin masks: clear improvement charcoal, original skin rose clay, drink up overnight mask.

as you can see, i really love skincare.

The sheet mask is designed to be very soft and holds a lot of essence. The mask has a great fit and didn't need to be adjusted.

Recommended use is after washing your face, prep skin with toner. Apply unfolded mask evenly over the face and leave on for about 10-20 minutes. After removing the mask, gently pat down until residual essence is fully absorbed. After using, this mask contains fragrance, it's kind of a basic skincare scent. The ingredients are really nourishing, moisturizing and safe for, and really care for the skin. The essence is very similar to honey in its thickness and is deeply moisturizing. It takes a long time for the mask to dry out because of the amount of essence. The fragrance isn't super strong so I think this is safe for sensitive skin as there was no irritation for me or anything like that. I'd recommend this to people with very dry and dehydrated skin and to people with sensitive skin.

What I like: this mask is extremely moisturizing and soothing. It's also very nourishing and the ingredients are really nice as there's only one major irritant. The mask is very soft and comfortable and really does a good job of infusing skin with essence. What I don't like: there is one irritant and contains fragrance.

"My Shower/ Body Routine"

Self care is important as mental and physical health. Taking care of your body is one of the ways of doing self care. Everytime I do this routine, time is a friend of mine and I treat this routine with kindness and care. I would say this is literally my shower/ body care routine. First off in my body care routine is double cleansing my face. Cleanser #1 is "Then I Met You" Cleanser. It has Vitamin E, Grapeseed Oil, Seaberry or Seabuck Oil, Olive Oil, and Persimmon Extract. It does contain a little bit of fragrance but it is good in a wash-off product. Doing double cleansing is a way to break down any make-up, sunscreen, or any seabums. The main cleanser is "La Roche Posay's Lipikar Wash AP+ Mosturizing Face And Body Wash For Extra Dry Skin" and I use it for both my face and body. The one thing I like about it is it foams up when emulsified. Next up is shampoo and the brand is "Pacifica Beauty's Vegan Silk Hydro Luxe Shampoo". This brand is cruelty free and vegan. There are 2 body washes I use which is "Curel Itch Defense Body Wash" and "Method Body Wash" and I am currently using Simply Nourish item which has coconut, shea butter, and rice milk. I have severe active Eczema and scars so I use "Curel Itch Defense Body Wash" everday mixed in with the "La Roche- Posay Cleanser". Instead of using a loofah, I use a cotton washcloth. Using a cotton washcloth helps my skin be smooth and soft and it does not irritate my skin. After I rinse, I conditioned my hair with "Pacifica Beauty's Vegan Silk Hydro Luxe Conditioner". It totally smells like whipped cream or marshmellow. Adding to that is cleansing my face with the same La Roche- Posay cleansing product.I After I do my routine, I pat dry with a towel and I put on hydrocortisone on the scars and active areas of Eczema and Curel Daily Healing Lotion to soothe and mosturize my body. To mosturize my face, that is a different routine but I can say the mosturizer I use is First Aid Beauty Repair Cream.
