A new article has been released on the website discussing the next year of warrior cats. Amongst it there a a few interesting stand out pieces of info.

The first being how Ivypool’s Heart and SE18 will introduce a “forgotten generation of warriors.” So perhaps my theory that these brand new characters will be a past generation who are the clan connection to the mysterious animals, and that these new characters will be the focus of SE18, may be correct?

Also we find out arc 9 will have a central character who has been around since TPB.

My mind immediately jumped to Brightheart given how much attention she’s been getting from the story and merch team recently. She is hugely popular and recently they seem to have realised that, giving her her own graphic novel and various pieces of merch.

But also perhaps it could be someone like Tawnypelt? There aren’t many options to choose from. I feel that Tawnypelt may be the only viable option outside the TC elders den since I doubt many people would consider characters who were alive during TPB but not present in that arc (such as Mosspelt and Oakfur), let alone think of them as “old friends”. Hopefully it won’t be Brambleclaw. We’ve had a lot of Brambleclaw in recent years, we really don’t need any more.

Modifying an Enhancement Implementation in SAP involves adjusting an existing User Exit, BADI (Business Add-In), Enhancement Spot, or Implicit/Explicit Enhancement. Here’s how you can do it:

Steps to Modify an Enhancement Implementation

1. Identify the Enhancement Implementation

Before making changes, determine the type of enhancement: 🔹 User Exit – Function module exits in customer-specific includes. 🔹 BADI (Business Add-In) – Standard SAP enhancements with methods to modify behavior. 🔹 Explicit/Implicit Enhancements – Custom code additions using Enhancement Framework. 🔹 Enhancement Spot – Framework to implement new logic.

2. Modify a Specific Type of Enhancement

A. Modify a BADI Implementation

1️⃣ Open Transaction SE18 → Enter the BADI Name → Click Display. 2️⃣ Go to the Implementation (SE19) and find the Custom BADI Implementation. 3️⃣ Click on Change Mode. 4️⃣ Modify the ABAP Code inside the method. 5️⃣ Activate the implementation.

💡 Use enhancement mode instead of modifying SAP code directly!

B. Modify an Explicit Enhancement

1️⃣ Use Transaction SE80 or go to the ABAP editor where the enhancement exists. 2️⃣ Locate the Enhancement Spot (Look for ENHANCEMENT-POINT). 3️⃣ Right-click the Enhancement Implementation and choose Change. 4️⃣ Edit the ABAP code inside. 5️⃣ Activate the changes.

C. Modify an Implicit Enhancement

1️⃣ Open the relevant SAP Standard Program in SE80 or SE38. 2️⃣ Go to the enhancement section (Right-click → Display Implicit Enhancements). 3️⃣ If an enhancement exists, select it and switch to Change Mode. 4️⃣ Modify the ABAP code accordingly. 5️⃣ Activate the enhancement.

D. Modify a User Exit

1️⃣ Open Transaction CMOD → Find the Project implementing the exit. 2️⃣ Go to Enhancements → Identify the Function Module Exit. 3️⃣ Inside the function module, modify the custom include (Z Include). 4️⃣ Activate and test the changes.

3. Test the Enhancement

✅ Unit Test – Verify that changes work as expected. ✅ Regression Test – Ensure no existing functionality breaks. ✅ Transport the Change – Use SE09/SE10 for transport.

Diary represents 10 years of her life of which she kept an intermittent photographic diary of friends, family, experiences and places she has been.

I would be lying if I said I wasn’t mildly worried about Pouncestep dying in a Splashtail invasion since she’s the only adult TigerDove kit that hardly got characterization outside of her kithood.

One of the only times we see her have a full conversation on-page and it’s directly before her father and sister are led into an ambush that they escape by the skin of their teeth. 😭

Our Ivypool’s Heart questers have already left, so in the event that Pouncestep or another Clanmate dies in an attack, Dovewing won’t know about it until she returns from her journey.

How heart-wrenching would it be to have Ivypool and Icewing finally come to terms with their shared grief in losing their children just for Dovewing to return to another child dead?

Pouncestep isn’t something I’ve talked about so far but I’ve been meaning to. We’ve just had her only characterisation ever as a friendly and well-meaning gossip. She’s immediately very likeable. So yeah I am very afraid for her lol.

I didn’t even consider the Dovewing aspect, oh that would be horrible (but from a story standpoint I would love it). What if she feels that by going on this quest she wasn’t here to protect her daughter and blames herself partially? Maybe that could be something to explore in SE18 since it is part two. What if, if that is he case, it were a Dovewing super edition? The sisters get half the story each.

That kind of event would shake the whole family as well. Tigerstar and Lightleap would probably blame themselves for both going and getting trapped on the island, therefore we’re unable to help Pouncestep. While maybe Shadowsight failed to save her either medical aid and his confidence as a medicine cat is shaken, especially since Puddleshine is away, leaving Shadowsight to deal with such a major incident on his own.
