notes: hello love!🤗 I decided to write this asap even though I have so many requests but I wanted to get this out before everyone gets over the señor frogs high (If you get what I’m saying?). Anyways, enjoy!!💓🏎️

Today I'm driving for señor frogs in the annual twenty four hour go cart race. I woke up early this morning, took a quick shower, got ready, packed a small bag and then set off. It took almost two hours to get to Buckmoore Park and I arrived just after ten, ready for the practice that starts at ten thirty.

I've know the boys for years and are good friends with them all. After they dropped Callux from the team they asked if I would participate this year and after seeing how fun it looked last year I couldn't say no. I've done lots of practice in the last few weeks and I'm actually pretty good. I used to race with my friends for fun when I was younger but that's about all the experience I've had.

When I arrived I parked my car then signed in at the front desk. "Hey! You're here!" Chip's voice echoed through the reception. A smile spread across my face. We shared a quick hug then he walked me to our green room.

Harry, Chris, Will and Freezy stood talking. They turned to me as we entered. "Hi guys!" I set my bag down. I glanced at Harry, he smiled softly at me. They all said their "hello's" then we started talking about the plan for the twenty four hours.

Unfortunately the weather forecast wasn't ideal since it was supposed to rain for almost the entire time but that made it more interesting and fun to watch.

We sent Chip and Plum out for the practice and once that was done it was time for the race to begin. We were starting off with Chris. After getting into our suits all of us walked out onto the track. I pulled mine down so that it rested at my waist and I wore a comfortable black tank top underneath.

Once we'd finished doing some interviews the group headed back upstairs onto the balcony to watch as the race began. As soon as the flag was waved Chris raced over to the cart, accidentally kicking another racer on the way. Harry pushed the cart to give him a boost then he drove swiftly off, along with everyone else.

When twelve am hit it was finally my turn. I suited up and grabbed my helmet. I stepped outside onto the deck, Harry just behind me (who'd already done his first stint, just before Plum went out). "Jesus Christ it's hammering it down." I looked out at the soaked and slippery track. He placed his hands on my shoulder, squeezing. "You'll be fine," he reassured me.

I quickly walked down the stairs, taking a deep breath when I got to the bottom. I looked back up at Harry. He put his two thumbs up. I smiled softly, nodding. "I can do this. Let's hope I don't completely embarrass myself." I thought.

"Nervous?" The camera man asked as I waited. "To be honest I'm shitting myself," I replied with a shaky laugh. Plum pulled in and immediately jumped out, he gave me a quick wave as I passed him. I adjusted the seat insert, got in and then drove off.

As soon as I set off I heard Freezy in the earpiece. He was talking about what place I was and how carful I needed to be on the turns. I could barely concentrate since I was focusing on not spinning out and it didn't help that I couldn't really see out of my visor.

Around an hour in I'd gotten used to it and was now much calmer. I hadn't heard anything through the communications for a while then I suddenly heard Harry's voice. He told me that Freezy had gone for a snooze and that he was replacing him.

"That was really good, one minute nine seconds. Try and keep up that time," he said as I finished another lap. The rain was starting to pick up. "It's so fucking slippy!" I felt as though I wasn't in control, the wheels were spinning everywhere. I just desperately didn't want to spin out and let the boys down.

When I was finally told to come in I felt so relieved. I had no idea what place we were or how I'd done. I practically stumbled out, my legs and bum asleep from sitting in the same position for two hours. I pulled my helmet off as I passed Chip.

When I got to the boys I was met with what seemed to be happy faces. "We're fucking second place in class!" Freezy patted my back excitedly. Harry smiled wildly at me. "I told you you'd be fine." I smiled back at him, relieved that I hadn't fucked everything up.

I was completely soaked so I went to get changed into some comfy clothes that I could sleep in. Plum, Will and Chris had already gone to bed and me and Harry were going to do the same as it was now around two in the morning.

We walked together to quadrants bus, since there wasn't a proper bed in the one Chip had rented and they'd kindly said we could sleep in there's. When we got inside, out of the rain we quietly walked down the hall. I turned to look at him, my eyes slightly wider than a minute ago. "Is there only one bed left?"

"Shit. I think so," he replied before looking around to check again. "What are we gonna do?" I whispered. "Uh- you can have it." My brows knitted together. "No, don't be daft. They're pretty big... we could share?" I was really hoping I hadn't just embarrassed myself.

Harry's face turned red, though I couldn't really tell due to the dim lights. "Uh- uhm- yeah. Okay," he stuttered. I smiled slightly. "Come on then. I'm exhausted."

He got in first. It was slightly awkward since the last bed was at the bottom and practically on the floor. I slid in after, both now on our sides, my back facing his front. Turns out they were smaller than they looked.

Evidently Harry didn't know what to do with his hands, they were sort of hovering over my side. I smirked to myself then grabbed his hand, placing it around me my waist. I shuffled into him comfortably. I felt him physically relax. "You sure this is okay?" He asked quietly. "I'm sure."

I've had a massive crush on Harry since a few months ago when we spent the entire night together at a party nether of us wanted to be at. I laughed more than I had in a while that night and I really enjoyed spending time with him.

I was woken up a few hours later by Chip giggling. My eyes fluttered open and a small tired groan escaped from my lips. "You alright there love? Comfy?" He chuckled quietly, as people were still asleep. I was confused then I realised I was still pressed up against Harry.

Harry shuffled behind me, mumbling something and then shooting up. A loud bang was heard as he whacked his head on the roof of the bed. "Ow." He fell back onto the pillow and brought his hand up to rub his head. Chip laughed even more.

We got out and stood up. I sighed before glancing at Harry. His hand rubbed at the back of his neck, he looked slightly uncomfortable. Chip continued to tease us as we walked back to the green room and he immediately told Freezy and Chris that he'd found us asleep together.

"I knew it! You like each other!" Freezy exclaimed, standing up. My eyes widened. "Uh-" "you guessed it," Harry replied, interrupting me. My head snapped over to him. "You like me?" I blurted out. The room fell silent. "Uhm- yeah- yeah I think I do." My face softened. Freezy chuckled with a smirk.

It turns out they wanted Harry to get back in the cart once again, which he wasn't very happy about. But he ended up agreeing and he got back into his suit. I stood next to him on the balcony, both of us leaning our forearms on the barrier as we waited for the signal that it was his turn to go out.

"I like you too. Just so you know." I said, not taking my eyes off the track. "You do?" He turned to me, surprise evident on his face. I looked at him sincerely. "Mhm, ever since that party last month." A smile graced his lips. "So... did you wanna go for lunch or something after this?" He asked. "Are you asking me on a date Mr Lewis?" I teased. He chuckled. I gently nudged his side with my elbow. "I'd really like that."

"Harry! Time to go!" Chip shouted. I glanced at Chip then looked up at Harry, pushing onto my tiptoes and placing a quick kiss on his cheek. "Good luck!" I whispered. He smirked. "I'll see you in a bit." I nodded before patting his chest.

I watched as he quickly walked down the stairs then I turned to go back inside. I stopped as I noticed Freezy through the window. He raised his eyebrows with a mischievous look on his face. I groaned but I didn't really mind that he'd seen mine and Harry's encounter, all I could think about was the date I was going on in a few hours.

Señor Frogs Headcanons (☁️/🔞)

Summary: Inspired by Señor Frogs driving team getting their first podium: headcanons of what it'd be like returning to each of the drivers as gf!reader after each of their stints. Content (warnings): mainly fluff, smut @ end features thigh riding + rly slight exhibitionism

Chrismd -Performance synopsis: he spun out initially but managed to clutch up and take the senor frogs to right in the middle (15th place) -He'd come back to cheers and pats on the back from his fellow drivers, rain speckling his visor and suit that had just began as he'd ran off the track -He takes in the boys' praise and a mouthful of cake that Chippo forces down him as a celebratory snack -But as soon as he locks eyes with you his grin is widening by tenfold -You're over the moon - completely shocked and surprised and proud of your man - running to him with open arms and wrapping him torso with the grandest hug - your face slotting into the crook of his neck and eyes closing as you hug him with all the force in your body -Practically knock the man  off of his feet, and he falls back onto the sofa behind him, still wrapped with your arms around him -Ends up having the post-performance chat with the boys with you wrapped around his middle - one of his hands gesturing and accompanying what he said, whilst the other pat your back and rubbed over the back of your head.

Willne -Performance synopsis: Shambolic at the start - didn't do his helmet up or take the seat insert out, losing valuable time for the team - gets a contact warning for being an "aggressive driver" and spun out a few more times, before finishing his stint as night fell. -Will came back feeling sick. He thought he'd done horrid as he left that car, but seeing you on the line with the iconic whiteboard - stood besides Calfreezy with the sign reading "MY BOYFRIEND IS THE BEST DRIVER"- -Will received a heavy slap on the back from Freezy, and a kiss on the visor from you. -You hadn't even realised that you wouldn't be able to kiss Will, with his helmet and visor still pulled down, until your lips met the cold glass and you pulled back - seeing the misty shape of your lips patterned across the glass -Your hands were completely frenzied as they shoved the visor up with a palm, smashing your lips through the slit and connecting them with Will's whilst he used his arms (pumped and inflated with adrenaline) to pull you up onto his waist, walking you back into the Senor Frog's shelter  -And when you walked into the warm room where the rest of the teamates were - you had Will's helmet in your hand, your other hand wrapped around his neck to hold your body close to his whilst he held you around his waist, kissing you sweeter than ever even whilst you were drenched from the rain outside -You didn't care. You were over the moon kissing Will like he had won the olympics. 

Chip -Performance synopsis: The night driver. The fastest and one of the best drivers, sent out to manage the weight of the boys' expectations in the dark of the night. And in the rain and the dark, Chip flew past the other drivers and into first-fucken-place. Too bad he got a black flag and pulled into the pit lane - told off for overtaking and spinning out with a stalled car... -Chip returned to the RV dejected, having had Cal laugh in his face from his performance. -You were laying in the RV bed that Chip had reserved for you, and were groggily awoken as your boyfriend, dressed in a now relaxed hoodie and pair of joggers, pulled the curtain back and told you to move up for him. -You'd watched the beginning of the performance, and so when Chip came back feeling so down you wondered what had happened -"You did so well!" You pressed a kiss to his face, then another on the other side. "You took the team to first place and had the fastest laps-!" -"I spun out and stalled the car and lost a minute" Chip grumbled in retaliation, pulling a pillow over his face to cover himself in shame. -You knew that wasn't good for the team at all, but you still couldn't let your boy look so distressed, so you carefully pulled the pillow away from his face and peppered two more kisses over either of his closed eyes -"That can be made up with other teams' pit stops," You consoled him, letting your hand rub over Chippo's curly locks comfortingly. "Anyone in the team - anyone on the track could've spun out or stalled the car - not everyone could've overtaken everyone on the track and gotten the team into first place-" -Your words were abruptly cut off by someone in the RV violently SHHHHHHHHing to indicate that it was still indeed 3am and people were trying to sleep. -Turning back to Chip, his expression at least looked less unhappy and more accepting - and you could feel his heartrate against your front, slowing and coming to a reasonable rate. -It was then Chip's turn to press a kiss to your forehead and mumble a thank you - i love you - turn around - spooning you before falling asleep, holding you as close to his chest as possible

Harry Lewis -He was panicking when he got onto the course, and that showed the moment he got onto the track and got overtaken my everyone else. Wailing through the microphone, screaming to get him off, practically crying into the mic where no-one could communicate to him... Bog returned feeling humiliated, embarrassed and with just a slight death wish -It was still dark when Harry returned, and you didn't hear anything until you felt the strong arm around your waist, pulling you into his body, closer, and sighing into your back as lay down next-to you in the sleeping quarters. -"I fucked it," was what you heard from behind you, before Harry's forehead pressed against your back, hiding his face from the light in shame, as he tried to also get a bit of sleep. -You knew better than to try console Harry verbally in this situation, too. -Instead, you let your hand scale over Harry's arm until you found his hand, wrapped around your middle and beneath your body - bringing it from beneath you and up to your mouth, planting a kiss to the back and interlacing your fingers with his to squeeze him, and physically reassure him. -Something close to a whine escaped his lips because he definitely did not feel comforted by the actions which he knew had the intention of placating him. -You knew what comforted him though, and you let his hands do what they needed to. -They fell down to your stomach, the section that wasn't defined with muscle and had a squish to it. -His palms massaged the pliant flesh, massaging it between each section of his palm and kneading it like a cat making biscuits, using your body like a stress ball  -It sent you to sleep. That feeling of being held and nurtured by someone you loved. And Harry was quick to sleep, too, his hands slowly slowing to just holding you and cradling your body.

Willne (second stint) -Second stint performance synopsis: The boys were horrified seeing him go out and go so slowly. The weather had reached an all time low, as had the team's performance. -"Sack of piss and shit car," Will came in and practically threw his helmet down, throwing the headset at Cal too, who accepted his fate and let the shitty plastic hit his arm. "You c'mere, Y/n, I need a rest-" -Even filled with anger, Will couldn't resist the opportunity to take a nap with you. -"Lie across me, please," Will had asked, groggy hands already trying to manoeuvre you and pull you on top of him. -You knew he liked that feeling of being compressed, and you liked Will's chest as a pillow - so you crawled on top of Will's body and let his hand fall to your back, hand grazing up and down over and over, fingernails lightly scratching and getting you addicted to his touch as you closed your eyes and enjoyed the moment of peace and care away from the other boys, Will's scratching slowing to a stop until you felt air fanning across the top of your head and little snores n grumbles from your sleeping beauty

Chip (second stint) -After two hours sleep, Chip wasn't feeling happy to proceed Will's performance... Yet he outdid everyones' expectations and with the help of the rival team's technical errors... Chip seemed to be making up for Will's performance. -Chip practically received a roar of cheers and praise as he entered into the Frogs' den, and as he sat down besides you and felt you pressing your lips firmly against his cheek to cement a proud kiss to his cheek. -Your boyfriend's adrenaline and emotion was still high and furiously pumping through his body however, and that small gesture just wasn't enough for Chippo. -And so despite all the other boys that were in the room and still watching the man - Chip's arm came around the underside of your thigh and hauled you over his body so that you straddled his hips - before his hand wrapped around the back of your neck and brought your lips smashing into his, meeting in the most frantic and passionate kiss which Chip was fast to insert his tongue into, sloppying and wetting the both of your lips as the boys around you eurrrggghhhhhhhed, and Cal even joked "C'mon Chippo, your performance was good but not good enough for this much PDA-"

Harry (second stint) -After being placed in first place after Matt's masterclass on the track, Harry did his absolute best not to get onto that track. Surprise; he found himself back on the track just as the rain restarted. And although Harry started perfectly, Harry's spirits were hindered as he let more and more drivers surpass him and take the first place spot.  -"Fuck off," Harry grumbled at Cal as soon as he saw the giraffe looking twat (his words, not my narration) at the race-side. -He huffed as he sat on the sofa in the group setting - right besides you. -And you could tell Harry was in a dangerous mood - meaning you were unsure whether or not to say anything to him.. -Harry answered that internal issue however, as his arms wrapped around your waist and drew you from your conversation with Chippo as he pulled you onto his lap, burying his head into the back of your shoulder where he could block all light from reaching his eyes and smell the perfume you'd worn on your pulse point to calm him down.  -You ran a hand through his hair with a blush forming across yours cheeks as you signalled to Chippo to save the conversation for later, instead working on knotting your fingers through Harold's hair and massaging the stress out of his scalp lovingly

Chip (third stint) -He went in to make up for Harry's mistakes, and managed to weasel a penalty for an opposition team... Yet also appeared to have damaged his him from the injury of the collision. Regardless, he takes the car over the final line and brings the boys their second place and podium position.  -He ran back to the side lines where his team was cheering and screaming praise at the man who had secured them a podium for their first time ever -He literally grabbed you when he got there - picking you up from the lower half and lifting you straight from your feet - spinning you around and making you clutch his shoulders as he whirled you, squeezing you tighter than ever -You were put down with a headrush that made you barely able to see, before Chip crashed his lips into yours with a bruising force that almost made you pass out as your lashes fluttered and head spun, trying to accommodate the fast pace of everything happening around you -Has you in one arm and the trophy in the other whilst taking podium photos -Puts his medal around you n gets litr the cutest photos -U see later that night an insta story Chippo's posted: some candid photo of you one of the photographers had taken when you cheered upon seeing Chip cross the finish line - in your sundress and look of ecstasy on your face -And the caption makes your heart melt: "Couldn't have done it without my good-luck girl either <3"

Calfreezy (🔞) -This brother was STRESSED the entire time. -would have u on his lap from START TO FINISH whilst sat in front of the screens n viewing station, his head resting against your shoulder as he looks past you - hands wrapped around your waist - fixated on the screen -Will squeeze + you'll feel his grip tightening whenever he gets nervous watching someone out on the track -N when he gets excited because Chip and Matt are overtaking a bunch of drivers, he'll bounce his leg happily and cause you to jump with it. -At night, when everyone's asleep in the RV and Harry was out on the track, giving you two the empty room... His hands wrapped around either thigh and quite literally picked you up and off from his lap - instead placing either of your knees around one of his thighs.  -"Ride my thigh then. You're really that desperate for something? Ride my thigh and thank me for it." -Already turned on - his words were practically enough to make you finish right then and there -But allowing your hands to fasten around your shoulders instead - your teeth biting down into his trapezius to muffle the moans and whimpers that fell from your lips - you humped your core furiously back and forth over his thigh -And even though he initially refused to do anything because he was so focussed on monitoring the screen, he could feel his agitation growing as with each rut of your hips you moved his cargos and created friction between his cock and the material of his trousers -Gives you max 30 seconds recovery to come down from your high before folding you over the table and fucking you whilst having you babble thank you's and pray that no-one woke up and returned to the room early.

En una ocasión el señor Ishida al llegar a su casa ve a su hijo en la sala con su amiga, en la mesa hay mercancía de Keroppi, no sabía que su hijo gustará del personaje así que se le ocurre una gran idea para compensar el tiempo que no pasa en casa y porque no, alegrar a dos personas a la vez.

El papá de Matt lleva a su hijo y a su amiga al set para que vean como se graba un especial de Keroppi 🐸

Mimi está muy feliz por ver como es la grabación y porque les han regalado mercancía del personaje, al staff les han parecido adorables los niños, el señor Ishida les toma fotos y videos para que recuerden este bello momento, un productor al verlos con la mercancía les dice que son muy fotogénicos así que les hace una invitación para grabar un comercial de mercancía de Keroppi a lo que Mimi se emociona mucho y claro que acepta pero el padre de Matt explica que primero preguntará a los padres de la niña para tener permiso, eso sí su hijo quiere él está dispuesto de otorgarle el permiso...

Aunque Matt está más que avergonzado por usar mercancía de Keroppi, la realidad es que a él le da igual el personaje pero por Mimi es que sobrelleva estos gustos, solo por su amiga es que se ve la caricatura y solo por ella es que está aquí aceptando estás ofertas de salir en un comercial de Keroppi.

Quizás Matt tenga que replantearse sus prioridades cuando acepta hacer todo lo que ella dice pero por esa sonrisa que pone Mimi al contarle de Keroppi hace que valga la pena sentir vergüenza en estos momentos 🐸

here is 1200 words of… bickering & Señor Frog’s bar. Day 3/7 from their cruise :)

** “Ooh, pocket dictionary. Just when I thought you couldn’t be any more of a nerd–”

“This pocket dictionary is about to get us booze.” David said, flipping through the thin pages maniacally. If he wasn’t careful, he’d rip right through it. Wasn’t like they needed it, though.

After a moment, David made a small noise of triumph. Joe couldn’t help but roll his eyes as David sounded the words out. It was choppy and Americanised at best, his pronunciation didn’t get much better as he continued muttering it softly under his breath as they stood in line

“Hola,” David started as soon as it was their turn at the till. “Dos margaritas por favor.”

The worker at the cash register blinked. “Two margaritas?”

“Yes,” David said dejectedly, then, ever polite, he tacked on a quick: “Please and thank you.”

“Can we have some of those funky cups?” Joe asked, since the cashier clearly spoke enough English to understand.

Sure enough: “Two frozen margaritas in souvenir cups.”

Joe smiled at David, who still looked put out that his shitty Spanish was actually shitty.

David paid, then they found their way onto a pair of seats straddling the line between the main bar and the patio. It was close enough to the ocean, just off the side of the port, for David to enjoy the view. But it was also far enough away that Joe didn’t get any strange impulses, like jumping in, or– the more fun and likely thought– pushing David into the water.

“We’re in Mexico!” David griped, despite the fact that he had reminded Joe, time and time again, that Cozumel wasn’t really Mexico, just an island.

“We’re in a tourist capital.” Joe shrugged. “Everyone speaks English, it’s to help rich dicks like you feel at home. So you spend more.”

“But I was making an effort.”

“Effort is wasted compared to cold, hard, cash.” Joe scanned the bar, looking for whichever waiter would bring them a pair of big ass drinks in neon cups. Señor Frog’s knew how to party. “Plus, you can try again in the next place.”

“The official language of Belize is English.” David said, reading the imaginary Wikipedia citation in his head. “Goddamnit, I knew I should have downloaded one of those language apps.”

David could barely hold a confident conversation in German, let alone manage his way through Spanish.

“If you really give a shit, why not talk to someone when we get back home? Everyone and their dog speaks Mexican.”

“Spanish.”

“Right, anyway. We’re still getting the booze here.”

David, still moping, hung his head with his elbows against the table to hold him up. Joe reached across the table, patting David’s shoulder awkwardly. It was hard to console David while Joe himself was on the brink of laughter. It was his own fault for bagging a guy so dramatic.

Eventually, David was stirred from his self-pitying by a waiter, who carried a tray with two precariously balanced cups. Hell, those were the cups. They looked even better in person, even more neon.

Joe took the Mile-Long souvenir cup that was handed to him, adorned with a small paper umbrella. It even came with a long ass plastic straw.

“This is incredible.” Joe said. His voice was tight with the kind of childlike wonder that he didn’t think was physically possible. The last time he’d been so happy over something like this, he’d been in the 6th grade.

(He’d been bet by a friend to do something stupid. He didn’t even remember what he’d done to get the five bucks, but he’d done it. And 12-year-old Joe Liebgott had used that hard earned money to buy not one, not two but an entire box full of Hostess Twinkies. He’d scarfed them down all by himself, sitting on the curb outside the 7-Eleven.)

“It… sure is something.” David said, eyeing his own drink with not nearly enough whimsey.

“This is the something, Web. The best thing in existence. Mister Señor Frog should be the next big icon. Who doesn’t want this much alcohol?”

“Señor means mister.”

“I know that, jackass. I just respect him that much.”

“You’re insane.”

“Hey, you paid for it. What? 20 American dollars a drink?”

David nodded a small ‘affirmative.’

20 bucks was a lot. This whole cruise was a lot. It astonished Joe every time. The whole trip would have been a lot cheaper for David if Joe hadn’t been there.

“Thanks, Web.” He said sincerely, hoping that David would get the message. He probably did, David was smart like that, even if he couldn’t speak Spanish to save his life.

He’d find a way to pay David back, if not in equal price, then equal effort and thought. Or, alternatively he’d get David something cheap and corny. He could give him a blowjob. He could buy him something cheap and corny and also give David a blowjob. Birthdays for David must have been great.

Joe swirled his drink, admiring the slush of it. He picked the tiny umbrella out and tucked it behind his ear.

When he looked up, just after taking as long of a sip as he could, Joe found David staring at him.

“What?” He asked.

“Nothing.” David said, but it was hardly believable. Joe blinked, and when he opened his eyes again, David still watched him, looking horribly fond.

“Get your goo-goo eyes off me– Oh fuck, oh shit, oh fuck.” Joe was gripped by a sudden, searing pain directly behind his eyebrows.

“What’s wrong? Lieb, what’s going on?” Gone was the softness from David’s eyes, replaced immediately with concern.

“Fuck– it’s just brainfreeze but fuck.”

Joe rode it out while Davis brought a hand to his side, stroking his fingers reassuringly up and down Joe’s ribs. Joe had half a mind to brush him off, and, well, the only other thought process in his head was ‘brain cold.’ That one won out, and David’s awkward affection got to stay.

Once it passed, fairly quickly considering the agony. Joe leaned back, moved David’s hand off of him and then took another sip from his drink. David rolled his eyes.

“You know, this trip is not nearly National Lampoon's enough.” Joe stated after a moment.

“Would you want it to be more National Lampoon’s? Doesn’t every vacation go horribly for the Griswold family?”

Joe shrugged. He’d grown up watching movies like Vacation, European Vacation, Vegas Vacation, etc. It had always been funny and looked exciting. It wasn’t Joe’s fault if he was naturally drawn to trainwrecks.

“They had fun, though.” He said. “Plus it always brought them together.”

“And you think we need over-the-top 80s hijinks to bring us together?”

“It could help any relationship, I think.” If Joe was honest, yeah, they probably didn’t need anything to unite them. David was firmly cemented in Joe’s mind, past his protective barriers and well settled within the soft, vulnerable parts of him. It hadn’t even been intentional. Joe had woken up one day, and realised yeah, David’s not so bad, and the rest was history. “80s Vacation hijinks could save marriages.”

He’d shown the movies to David, who had grown up in a household which frowned upon the innuendo-filled comedies that Joe thrived on, (“This is a Christmas movie, we can’t watch it in July!” “Why the fuck would I care about that?”)

“What do you think would make this more like that?”

“Hell if I know, I don’t write that shit.” Joe sipped loudly from his drink.
